Reviewed Sep 15, 2026This is our 7th or 8th time staying at the Bridge Inn (I have lost count). Keith and his staff are so welcoming and nothing is a bother to them. The apartments are comfortable with everything you need. The location is superb. The food is excellent. We had food in the Bridge Inn every night of our 3 night stay and every meal was delicious. The highlight of this visit was barman Mark. Mark looked after us so well. Thanks Mark for your excellent customer service (Mark definitely deserves a wage rise Keith 😂) from all the girls from Glasgow and Noreen. Thanks again Keith, Mark and everyone associated with the Bridge Inn. We will definitely be back in 2027. See you all then

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026This place was exceptional. Spacious rooms with fluffy white towels, comfortable beds, hot showers and easy to use heating. Staff really friendly as were the locals. Plus they love dogs! Outside you walk straight to the sea, via the car park for beautiful views, a kids playground and lots of walks for the dogs. We absolutely loved it, and will definitely be back. Also the food in the bar was delicious, try the lemon meringue pie, biggest slice I have ever had and mouth watering!

We stayed in the same apartment 1 year ago and had a brilliant stay. Unfortunately this time around we found the room to be a bit smelly and the shower unit was not very clean. Also we had no hot water in the bathroom.

Literie extrêmement confortable. Possibilité de manger au pub bridge inn. Parking à proximité. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026This is about Our fifth or sixth time to stay here now and just absolutely love it. Keith remembers you every time you go back and our dog Frank is made so welcomed. We brought friends with us this time and they absolutely loved it. They said that the staff are so friendly and the food was amazing and will definitely be back also

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Our stay at the Bridge Inn was brilliant. We stayed for 3 nights, brought our 2 dogs with us, they loved it too! The staff were really friendly and nothing was a bother for them. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, the location was great, right on the main street and a 60 second walk to the bay. We will definitely be back.

Mattress was poor and badly warped on both sides. Needs replacing - Room 7. Could be cleaner, but wasn’t bad. The fridge needed better cleaning mainly.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Fantastic stay in Donegal! ⭐️ We stayed here for 2 nights as a couple while exploring Donegal, and we absolutely loved it! The apartment was really lovely, comfortable, clean and in a fantastic location for getting around and seeing the area. The facilities were great, and we thought the price was very fair for what we got. The only small thing worth mentioning is that the cooking facilities were quite limited, but this really didn’t take away from our stay at all. We also loved having Hook’d Coffee just opposite — the coffee was really good and such a handy spot to have nearby! We had food downstairs in the bar as well, which was delicious, and the atmosphere was brilliant. Overall, we had a fantastic couple of nights here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Donegal. Great location, lovely accommodation, good food and coffee right on the doorstep — what more could you want! We would definitely stay here again. ❤️

The family room was big enough and didn't feel tight at all cz sometimes there are bess on top of each other and it becomes suffocating inside the room.. but here it was really good. We really enjoyed our stay there. This being part of the pub was additional advabtage.. the atmosphere there was cozy n inviting with live music. Highly recommend.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Siamo in Donegal va fatta questa premessa perché il Donegal è un Irlanda un po diversa, è più intensa più caratterizzata rispetto ad altre zone. Gentilissimi e disponibili su tutto. La struttura è più che buona massima privacy a due passi dalla strada principale (unica strada). C'è un bellissimo pub adiacente in cui farete il check in e potrete mangiare ottimo cibo. Un po caro tutto ma ci sta. Gli appartamenti sono totalmente indipendenti nuovi comodi e puliti. Insomma per visitare la vera Irlanda (il Donegal) va benissimo.

Everything was great but there is a noise kind of like a pump maybe that controls the taps/ plumbing and its loud ish and sporadic so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Checked in by Andrea who actually walked me to the room and showed me how to get everything on and working - an actual human and not just a lock box and keycode. Air Con was a blessing in 30c heat, too - not coin operated, actual free, included in the price, aircon. Room was large, great facilities, next to the river and DOG FRIENDLY! There was a hickup on our second day but the manager, Maria, was prompt to respond and got everything sorted in the blink of an eye and moved us rooms. The adjoining pub opens lunchtime, with the kitchen open until 8pm (get in before 7pm tho because theyre busy and might stop taking orders a bit before 8) - menu exceptionally priced, simple great food, tasty and cooked well. The staff are exceptional, too - they made us feel at home, knew us by name, and were always smiling - even after a 10hr shift. If you're looking for breakfast options within 100m - Bacus Bakery in the courtyard of Sweeneys is a sit down option, or Hookd is a grab and go vibe with some seating to the rear - both dog friendly, too!
If I had to be exceptionally picky like my life depended on it; as a heavy set person, the double bed in our first room was smaller than the double in our second room - and the shower opening in our second room was much narrower than the shower opening in our first room BUT that's totally a me issue with loving my pints and food

Fire alarm went off early Sunday morning. Each room needs fire extinguisher & extracting fan for kitchen when cooking. Some set fire alarm of cooking bacon early Sunday morning we all had to leave property for while. My husband found mattress Uncomfortable in room 11. All else great & having the kitchen a big bonus
