The bathroom didn't have anywhere to put toiletries - an extra shelf or cabinet might have been helpful

Location, size cleanliness. It is easy to travel to south to Dublin or North to Belfast. The near by town of Dundalk has plenty of facilities.

If I’m really picking at something by I guess and extra chair in the lounge area, the apartment has two double beds but on seating for three for me it was no problem as there was only three of us and we didn’t spend much time in the property.

Beautiful, light, bright and clean two bed residence. Modern and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were great. Free WiFi and Netflix was a bonus. We had dogs with us on our stay and they loved exploring the enormous gardens. The views were lovely. The location is excellent for south and north. Great value for money and easy to follow instructions when booking and on arrival.

Clean, comfortable stay with plenty of places to see and things to do nearby. Owner/manager is very pleasant to work with and very responsive. An excellent place to stay and a nice quiet alternative to staying in the city.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, eingebettet in eine tolle gepflegte Gartenanlage. Alles sehr sauber, sehr ordentlich. Absolut zum wohlfühlen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen!!!

Bitte noch die Türen zu den Schlafzimmern kürzen, sonst geht der schöne flauschige Teppich relativ schnell kaputt! ;-)

Great location for attending friend's wedding at Castle Bellingham. Private and secluded. Big thank you to host Sharon, who was very helpful on arrival and trying to cool the property in the June heatwave. Would recommend.

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Per migliorare ulteriormente i servizi si potrebbe mettere qualche asciugamano più grande e detersivo per lavatrice

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. The surrounding gardens and grounds were stunning and so peaceful, making it a very relaxing stay. The location was excellent and everything was maintained to a very high standard. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dundalk.

Honestly, there was very little to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations and made for a very enjoyable stay.

The larger of the bedrooms did leave in quite a lot of light in the morning with the blinds pulled.

We only have one small observation, only one bathroom so if you have a family staying it requires some organisation for showers and toilet requirements, but as I said, a small issue.

A beautiful, quiet setting, lovely grounds with farm fields surrounding and easy access to the market and cafe across the road. The apartment is very comfortable, attractive, and efficient, easily accommodating six of us.

A small concern about the beautiful large bathroom with slippery marble floors and no grab bars.

We were not aware it was on 2nd floor and that was a mobility issue for me and awkward for pets. Also one of the sofa beds was on the landing.

The apartment was a good size. The main bedroom was very large, as was the bed.

The bathroom needs work. It really let down the whole stay. The cistern in the toilet takes at least half an hour to refill, so you can flush it very rarely, which is a serious problem when there is more than one person staying. There are also no hooks in the bathroom. No where to put your towels. The bottles of hand soap, shampoo and shower gel were all either completely empty or basically empty, which was a very disappointing oversight. There were no hooks to hang jackets either. Also very expensive, given that it's not in a city. Also wish it was decorated for Christmas. At least minimally, like a wreath on the front door. It was a bit cold to stay here in Christmas with no decorations.

5* stay Immaculate apartment with beautiful comfortable beds . Stylish living area with soft sofas and beautiful views. Spotless modern kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Poorly equipped kitchen utensils and crocks. No casserole dishes/ servers , fish slice, bread knife. Large serving spoons and colander oven trays, plus oven gloves. Lots of other stuff wasn’t there….not ideal if you cook meals. Could do with extra plates. Also instruction details on oven microwave and dishwasher..

This place was absolutely fantastic, we came down to watch the horse racing which is only a short taxi ride away, the apartments are so big and well looked after the host was very nice she left use coffee, tea bags, milk and water the beds where so comfortable my hubby wants the duvet and pillows for our house it was like sleeping on a cloud, the grounds out side r beautiful and the views out the large windows where great

Incredible apartment! Highly recommend it, beautifully designed, spacious, a real home feel to it, located behind an automatic gate, it had beautiful views and it's just over the road from Strandfield a must visit destination for breakfast coffees or even groceries :) Only reason the location is not in the 5 start section is because we intended to be in Blackrock, we're very happy now that didn't work out because we got to stay in one of these lovely appartments. Only a 5min drive into Dundalk. Host was excellent and provided everything we needed. thank you

Open space around property, very clean and comfortable, pet friendliness, very nice cafe and deli across the road

Kitchen was minimally appointed - there was cutlery and crockery but only exactly 4 of each and for self- catering it was missing a few key items, such as a bread knife, serving bowl eg for salad, coffee pot, teapot etc. A few more knives and spoons would have been welcome. No instructions left for tv and we couldn’t figure out how to get terrestrial tv (rte) to watch rugby match. No welcome booklet left in house

Super clean and comfortable and very helpful host

Beautiful spacious, well equipped and comfortable apartments. We rented a 2 bed and a 3 bed for a family gathering. They were so close to the hotel for golf and on the right road out to Carlingford. Bedroom sizes were great and beds were so comfortable. Kitchen and living area had everything we needed. Outside was so safe as it had electric gates. Being dog friendly was such a bonus as our pups are part of our family. Sharon was an amazing host and given us all the information needed. We would definitely come back again!

Only thing to be mindful is 3 bed has only one bathroom which was a push at times with 6 adults but we made it work.

The property is gated and the landscape is absolutely gorgeous! Very quiet and peaceful. Beds were soft and comfortable. Lovely well equipped kitchen and large dinning table The property was supplied with all you need to prepare food,from pots to dishes,including bottles of drinking water and bathroom toiletries. Everything was perfect.

Located just off the motorway it is convenient, 19km from Carlingford and 10km from Dundalk. The apartment is absolutely spotless and comfortable. We loved Strandfield Cafe and Garden Shop across the road, it’s busy so be prepared to queue (late May 2023) but well worth it, the food is beautiful. Lovely garden pots, plants, flowers, food and vintage pieces too. There is a washing machine and dishwasher (dishwasher tablets supplied, just bring washing powder if required) We will definitely be back

Excellent accommodation, spotless and sparkling clean. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Great location and lovely view from the from the rooms.

would love additional bathroom in 3 the bed apartment but other services compensated for it, no complaints.

The security and the position

Not able to use the shower. However, the property manager provided us with a key to an unused apartment. It would have been greatly appreciated if the manager had simply moved us into the alternative apartment. The property was so new that two taxi drivers did not know of its existence.

Sharon was a great host. nothing too much trouble. Sharon text to see if we had any problems & always at the end of the phone if need be. House was immaculate & location was so quiet & peaceful with lots of grounds to have a walkaround & chill. Just loved this place, I would recommend to anyone looking for a bit of peace & quite & not too far from town. Looking forward to hopefully booking here again for the next film festival. Location was fantastic for our family event. We stayed in a 3 Bedroom, plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. Everything provided, finished to a fantastic specification. Host was very helpful during booking and checkin including lovely touch of Milk & teabags at checkin.

Minor issues, fantastic stay we will be back Electric gates provide great security but we had 2 cars and only 1 key fob so had to carefully plan our logistics. 1 bathroom was a challenge 🤣
