Reviewed Sep 7, 2026El apartamento era muy amplio, con vistas directas al fiordo. Completamente equipado. Detalles muy cuidados y decoración muy bonita.Tenías todo lo que necesitabas y te sentías como en casa. Zona muy tranquila, con una cafetería muy agradable y café excelente justo enfrente. El check in fue muy sencillo y nos explicaron todo al llegar. Hay sitio para aparcar al lado de la casa. Volveríamos sin duda :)
Está un poco retirado, a unos 20 min en coche de la E10 que conecta con otros lugares de interes. Para nosotros no fué ningún problema y fue perfecto para desconectar en un lugar tan acogedor :)

Stock; unkomplizierter check in / out; mal durchzusaugen, Betten abzuziehen und den Müll rauszubringen ist für uns eine Selbstverständlichkeit; Parkplatz direkt am Haus + kostenfrei; Möglichkeit zu Waschen und zu Trocknen; die Lage + Wohnung steht im direkten Kontext zu Fischfang, alles ist sehr authentisch; wir wissen nicht, ob es im Frühjahr stark nach Fisch riecht, da die Trockengestelle in Sichtweite stehen, jetzt aber weitgehend leer waren (= kein Fischgeruch); sehr nettes Cafe direkt neben an

Miałam cudowny apartament (salon z aneksem kuchennym), sypialnią i łazienką - z magicznym widokiem na wodę, łódki :) Świetne miejsce, najlepsze jakie znalazłam podczas wyjazdu na Lofoty.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Super schöne große Ferienwohnung. Atemberaubender Ausblick auf Hafen und Berge. Schönes Badezimmer, gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr gutes WLAN. Ein Café mit eigens geröstetem sehr gutem Kaffee und Kleinigkeiten zu essen direkt gegenüber. Minimarkt max. 5 Min. Zu Fuß.
Es war insgesamt sauber, nur der Kühlschrank war dreckig. Haben unsere Elektrokühlbox genutzt. Kleines Manko: Die Terrasse ist nicht überdacht.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Velmi prostorný a autentický rorbuer v krásném prostředí. Jen na tu vůni tresek si chce zvyknout, pokud nejste na ryby. Pan majitel, Alf, je velmi přátelský, ochotný a vstřícný, což jen podtrhuje uvolněnou atmosféru místa. Za rohem je navíc kavárna, která se jakoby zastavila v čase a přihlížet pravidelným schůzkám místních při skořicovém šnekovi a kafe dodává místu patřičnou místní atmosféru. Vybavení je naprosto na jedničku a jediné, co nám chybělo, byla houbička na umývání nádobí.
Tím, že je budova autentická, místnosti neizolují tak dobře hluk, což pro příliš citlivé osoby může být překážka v nerušeném spánku.

Il y a 3 appartements identiques, tout confort, dans ce rorbu posé sur le quai du joli petit port de pêche de Laukvik (en activité) que vous pourrez observer directement depuis votre salon (ou depuis votre terrasse en été). Et il y a, en plus, un super beau café, voisin, ouvert à l'année (!). Un très bon rapport qualité prix. Appartement spacieux, super douche, super literie, tout bien et beaucoup moins cher qu'ailleurs :). Nous recommandons chaudement !

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Esperienza immersiva e originale in un tranquillo villaggio di pescatori, casa situata in riva al mare sul piccolo porticciolo. L'alloggio è una vecchia casa in legno originariamente a supporto dei pescatori e ora diviso in 3 appartamenti di cui uno al piano terra e due al primo piano. L'appartamento al piano terra, con 4 letti, è affacciato sui tre lati e gode di una bella vista su mare e porticciolo. L'atmosfera è calda e piacevole e la sensazione è quella di far parte dell'ambiente circostante. Il villaggio si trova in un luogo abbastanza selvaggio e isolato e dispone di un minimarket (chiuso domenica) e di un caffè-ristorante molto carino ex-dopolavoro dei pescatori situato vicino al Rorbuer ma (almeno in inverno) con orario ridotto dalle 11 alle 17. A disposizione stoviglie, pentole, cucina, bollitore, televisione. In una saletta comune al primo piano anche forno a microonde e lavatrice/asciugatrice. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la casetta, pur "senza fronzoli", è molto piacevole sia dentro che fuori. L'auto può essere posteggiata a fianco dell'ingresso. Buona la comunicazione con il gestore. Il WiFi funziona bene. Per la bella stagione c'è anche una zona all'esterno con tavoli.
Siamo stati soddisfatti al 100%, per cui qua elenco solamente le piccole cose da considerare per una scelta consapevole: le scale per accedere al primo piano sono abbastanza scomode. Se sono presenti persone nell'appartamento posto sopra a quello al piano terra si sente notevolmente la presenza e i rumori degli altri ospiti, specialmente quando camminano. Il villaggio è isolato e a circa 20 minuti dalla E10. Il primo supermercato o ristorante "vero" si trova a circa 30 minuti di distanza.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026La vista sul mare. Ogni finestra offre un panorama unico. Come le isole d'altronde. L'appartamento è caldo in ogni senso. Molto accogliente dal primo ingresso. C'è tutto l'utile, chiaramente bisogna adattarsi in base alle proprie abitudini ma per un soggiorno di viaggiatori è perfetto!
Dal piano di sotto si sente molto se qualcuno ti cammina sulla testa, ma credo sia dovuto soprattutto dalla struttura in legno. Ma stando a casa praticamente solo per dormire non è molto di peso.

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025It was our first time staying at a rorbuer and we loved the rustic feel to it. Set in Laukvik, you won't find too many people here, just industrious fishermen. We appreciated how quiet it was. Definitely a great place to get away and chill. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves. It had practically everything we needed, a kitchen, a washing machine, bathroom, heater, wifi, and a window view to the northern lights. Alf knocked on our door to tell us the aurora was out and we rushed outside because we hadn't seen it for the week we were in Norway.
The Cafe next door isn't open M - W. Also, this is nitpicking, but the towels provided had that old towel smell. Lastly, if you're driving an EV, the closest fast charging station is Svolvaer, a 40 minute drive, so plan accordingly.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2025The rorbuer is within walking distance to a cute cafe and a little supermarket, right at the harbour. The place was neatly decorated with sea related items, and the couch was very comfortable. The shower was excellent.
The fridge was a bit loud, and there was a constant humming sound even at night right by the sleeping room, coming from outside.

Building is old, yet remivated, so expect paper thin walls. So depending in what neighbors you'll get, you can hear them pretty well.

Reviewed May 25, 2025I loved the place and its authentic feel. It is a bit off the beaten track, and it does not feel touristy at all. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a big living room area. You'd better bring some groceries with you, as the restaurant next to the house is often closed, and the only shop opens from 10 to 18. However, there is salt, sugar, and oil in the kitchen. An excellent refuge for those looking for relaxation in a remote location.
The house is old, and therefore, obviously, the walls are not insulated. If you stay on the ground floor, you just need to hope that your neighbours upstairs won't be an energetic family with noisy children.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2024-spacious living area, private bathroom own kitchen with kitchen tools - despite hotel it helps to save on extra restaurants spendings for breakfasts/dinners -the owner is willing to help -remote location (for someone who wants to get away from cities) -price/quality ratio is a competitive advantage. Hotels' prices are sky-high. I see absolutely no reason to overpay hotels while you likely want to spend your time outside
-on the first day there was a fishy smell outside. It was gone afterward (it probably depends on fishing schedule) -location - it's not optimal if you want to travel across Lofotens. The time to spend to get to the southern part and back takes a significant amount of time. Keep in mind the road has only a single lane in one direction, which makes overtaking not a trivial mission. And every other vehicle on the road is a camper van, that are moving at a snail's pace.

The house is directly on the little harbor of Laukvik. Defintely a place to stay if you do not want to be in the crowd. (It is about 25 mn drive from Svolvaer).

We got another apartment, just a couple of hundred metres away, with a large balcony with fantastic views overlooking the town and harbour. The apartment had everything we needed to cook our own meals, an excellent bathroom, and comfortable living room.

kitchen is small and basic and storage drawers not so clean with too many food left overs of previous guests. We missed some items that should make it even more comfortable: tea pot, tea glasses, glasses for red wine, glasses for beer, some more cutlery etc.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2023A superb, large and comfortable apartment with windows to three sides, unbeatable price/value ratio. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful (they live next door), checking in later in the evening was not a problem. The location is a bit remote, which we liked, but still it's just about 37 km to Svolvær.
The only thing I can think of would be replacing the leaking shower hose.
