Everything! The host was incredibly accommodating and generous with food and drink provided and the apartment itself not only had everything you needed plus more, but had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in!

Well stocked fridge, so much tea and coffee, Fresh bread the day after arrival. Amazing helpful host. Went to visit my son and girlfriend who live there. Heat wave excellent air conditioning, Would give higher score if I could. My train home was cancelled and host went out of her way to extend my stay even giving me a discount.

Nothing could have been better, best stay in Holland I have had past four years. My son and partner have two dogs who were welcome to visit. OMG the bath was excellent,

Our hostess welcomed us and had tried to provide everything we could want. She recommended where we should eat and what we should do.

Off street parking was expensive.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Das Apartment war geschmackvoll eingericht. Das Bett sehr bequem. Der Kühlschrank war mit allem ausgerüstet, was man zum Frühstück brauchte. Croissant und Eier,sowie Kaffee gab es auch, besser geht s nicht. Am Abreisetag hat die Gastgeberin uns noch 2 Fahrräder für eine kurze Fahrradtour ausgeliehen. Die Lage war für uns auch perfekt. Die Johan-Cruyff-Arena ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof von Hilversum ist zu Fuß 5 MInuten entfernt. Von dort iwaren wir in 30 Minuten in Utrecht. In der Nähes Ampartments ist die Fußgängerzone mit der empfehlenswerte "Foodhall MOUT" Wir können das Apartment uneingeschränkt sehr empfehlen.

TUDO, mas destaco a simpatia, generosidade, flexibilidade e preocupação em que tudo estivesse bem, por parte da Marielise! Isso tornou a nossa estadia ainda mais incrível. Sentimo-nos em casa, num ambiente familiar, mas com inteira privacidade. O espaço é incrível, a localização perfeita para evitar o centro de Amesterdão. Foi incrivel ter a oportunidade de usar as bicicletas incluÍdas na casa para conhecer as redondezas. Teve especial importância para mim! Super recomendo! Ficamos com memórias muito bonitas desta estadia e pessoas!

Alles beviel! Je kan het zo gek niet bedenken of het is aanwezig. Ik was alleen ivm eenn3-daagse training en de hoeveelheid aan eten was geweldig. Voor de avondmaaltijd moet je natuurlijk zelf zorgen, en wil je vleeswaren op brood dan zit geschat 100mtr om de hoek de Dirk, maar verder was alles in ruime hoeveelheid aanwezig. En ook hierin was niks te gek en heel gevarieerd. De indeling vond ik erg leuk. Het bed.. perfect! De hoeveelheid handdoeken, de aanwezige badjassen. Een fijne binnenkomst met zachte muziek met vogelgeluiden op de achtergrond. De locatie is echt perfect, ik schat 20mtr links de straat uit en je staat tussen de eetgelegenheden en winkelsstraat. Door het afgesloten hek voordat je bij de voordeur komt voel je je ook echt in je eigen domeintje. Marielise is een lieve host, die aan alles heeft gedacht om het je zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Dit was zeker niet de laatste keer dat ik hier ben geweest en is een dikke aanrader!

We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and surprised us with fresh bread and pastries from the market in the morning. Such a thoughtful touch — we will definitely be coming back!

The property is very very good, well located in the center of Hilversum, super comfortable bed and overall very nicely designed and furnished. Be aware that the bathroom has little privacy (some people might not be okay with that), but other than that it was perfect for 2 people.

If I really have to point something negative it would be the privacy for the bathroom as mentioned and it would be nice to have an oven for quick meals

Wat een super verblijf midden in Hilversum, met een geweldige eigenaresse Marielise. Alles klopte en nog meer. We werden verwend met allemaal lekkere dingen en zelfs een ontbijt voor de volgende ochtend was er. Het verblijf bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Je hoeft eigenlijk alleen je kleding mee te nemen, de rest is er. Rustige plek en een heerlijk bed. Als we weer in Hilversum moeten zijn, dan zeker hier!!! Nogmaals bedankt

Marielisa and her husband were outstanding hosts, always willing to accommodate any request without hesitation. They thoughtfully arranged baby chairs for our twins, even borrowing one from a neighbor. The property matched the photos perfectly, was well maintained, and was centrally located, with all essentials just a short walk away. Staying here truly gives you an authentic Dutch residential experience. I would highly recommend this place for short stays.

Darley is a very dedicated host who is always looking for a way to go the extra mile for her guests. She's super responsive, communicative and accommodating. For example I stayed with my 5 year old child and she made sure there was a step for my kid to reach the toilet/sink and brought a stokke chair to sit comfortably at the table. This made a huge difference to my child's comfort during the stay! The apartment is fully equipped with everything you can possibly need. It's clean and has a comfortable, if a bit unusual, layout. The bed is very big and even more comfortable, with a nice duvet, several pillows and blackout curtains, and the temperature throughout the apartment is perfect. Lights and sound isolation are also top notch. It has the appropriate (comfortable) amount of furnishings, ample entertainment options (there's books, a stereo, board games and a TV), and the space feels cozy and inviting. There is also a small outside area where you can park your bike or seat outside, it was cold when we were staying so we didn't use the outside area as a living area just to park my bike and for that it was great. The location cannot be better, in a quiet street in the middle of the city center close to every thinkable amenity. It is a wonderful space!

It might sound strange but the fact that the apartment was so well equipped was actually a bit hindering: there was no real space to put my own things, because it was already full -- from the shelves and surfaces to the fridge! Another thing was that the pictures didn't make the distribution and kitchen layout clear. For me particularly the fact that you had to lean for most things in the kitchen (no high cabinets, everything below the counter including fridge) was problematic because at the time of staying I was 33 weeks pregnant (8 months) so leaning so much was hard, and there wasn't any swipe that could be used standing, so you'd have to squat to clean the floor which was also a bit much for me physically. Also there is no dishwasher so you have to do the dishes by hand and if you are 8 months pregnant your belly hinders that process too. The doors towards the bathroom and from the bathroom to the bedroom are swing doors and are hard to pull/push (heavy), not easy to circulate unless you leave one or two of them constantly open. Last thing that wasn't great was the shower drainage, it didn't work super well so the shower would flood and you had to time your shower well so that you'd be able to complete it before the water spilled over onto the bathroom floor (not ideal!).

The apartment is beautiful, located very conveniently - close to the shops, restaurants and the train station. The host is very friendly and generous with all the extras that were at our disposal throughout our stay. We loved our stay and if we're ever again in Hilversum (or Amsterdam for that matter), we will definitely return.

Hele centrale ligging en het verblijf is van alles voorzien. Vriendelijk ontvangst en het ontbreekt echt aan niets. Een van de betere verblijven die ik in tijden heb mogen ervaren.

Cozy, wonderful design, there is everything you need

The host was super friendly and helpful. There was so much food in the fridge we only needed to get dinner.

Haast alles was aanwezig, het was super schoon en mega comfortabel. Fijne ligging midden centrum en vlakbij station.

Es sin duda el mejor alojamiento en el que nos hemos hospedado (y ya van unos cuantos). Todas las comodidades que uno se pueda imaginar allí estaban. La casa es muy grande, cama cómoda, tiene bicicletas para poder usar, todos los electrodomésticos necesarios, productos de baño de todo tipo. La calle muy tranquila y a la vez muy cerca de la zona más animada de la cuidad. La localización ideal para poder visitar Amsterdam y alrededores. La anfitriona súper atenta. Y como plus te dejaba el frigorífico lleno, fruta fresca, huevos, pan recién hecho..... En resumen una auténtica maravilla.

No tiene nada que ver con el alojamiento, pero conviene tener en cuenta que en Hilversum el aparcamiento está muy regulado y es prácticamente obligatorio dejarlo en un parking privado.

Marielise was exceptionally attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The location was ideal, with everything we needed close by, making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. We even received a little doggy welcome package for our dog which was a lovely touch.

The appartement is right in the city center and only a few minutes walk from the station. What makes your stay here is not the brilliant location, it is the owner who goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. There’s fresh flowers, snacks, drinks, toiletries, magazines and anything else you can imagine to make your stay comfortable. We travel quite a bit and can truly say this place is a gem!

Very well equipped accommodation, containing everything a guest needs. Great communication from the host, including lots of local information and even a map!

Very clean and well equipped. It is located in the centre of Hilversum with everything in walking distance. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Host is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The hosts were very helpful and generous in every way and the facilities were just what we needed. The apartment is very close to the train station, which conveniently connects you to Amsterdam and other major cities. The neighbourhood was very quiet, which made for a good night's sleep, and we were provided with ample food for breakfast.

A very cozy and stylish apartment, host provided with snacks, drinks and bicycles. Very convenient location in Hilversum.

Breakfast was not actually included but the host provided a wide selection of breakfast items. So many different choices in the fridge of juices and different beers and snacks to choose from throughout the stay. Amazing! So many thoughtful touches throughout the property. The host has thought of everything!

Darley was such an excellent host, he gave us good recommendations and lend cards for using the public transport (which when she received the bill, forward to us and we payed later) so we could directly in the trains without any hassles. The mini fridge was full with a wide selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks and breakfast for the next day, and large selection of coffee tablets. We had a wonderful stay.

There is nothing we could complain about. Just one recommendation for further stays, when we were not in the room and came back we notice that someone came in to bring some stuff, a little message to let us know about that would have been great.

Stunning property, just off a lane, in the centre of the town, exceptionally clean and everything you can possibly want.

What an amazing little gem; right in the middle of Hilversum, near motorway and train station. Lovely hostess and an amazingly well stocked fridge with lots of goodies. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Location, location, location! The location was perfect! Located directly in the city center, 3 min walk to shopping and food center. 8 min walk to train station to travel into Amsterdam.

You will find nice and welcoming rooms, books on art and the Netherlands, two bicycles waiting for you to explore the wonderful nature and surrounding, a well-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful host in the center of Hilversum. I highly recommend a stay at Darley´s!

We had a wonderful stay at Darley’s in Hilversum! Marlies is a so lovely host and took care of us and every question we had. The room was super cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Even the fridge was packed with fresh groceries! We will definitely return to darleys and will stay again in the beautiful appartment!

Fantastic breakfast spread, numerous thoughtful little touches

A fully equipped kitchen with supplies was available or a number of restaurants available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Easy walking to Central Station. Many general and specialty shops within Hilversum. A great location.

An airy, light, elegant, and well designed apartment in the center of Hilversum, yet on a quiet street and a very short walk to shops, great food, and the train station (20 minutes from Amsterdam). We were greeted with lit candles and classical music. The bikes were perfect for a ride through town and beyond - the city is surrounded by forests and is very close by dedicated bike paths to other towns. The apartment was fully stocked with food - beyond expectations! Plenty of books and maps to help us learn more about the area and the country. Best of all were our hosts Marielise and her husband, who went out of their way to enhance our visit with thoughtful recommendations, information, and great conversation. We were there only 3 nights but felt like we made new friends!

Flowers, live plants, plenty of food, kitchen stuff, bathroom amenities, super comfy luxurious bed, quiet location very close to everything, and the charming lady who gives you really warm welcome.

This is a little apartment with separate bedroom, living room, and bathroom (shower, no bath). While breakfast is not included, it does include a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of food that’s already included in the price. For the taller people: the shower head can move up to be useful even for people well over 2.10m / 7’. The Bed is long enough for my 1.94m / 6’4”. It’s right in the center of town, so there are plenty of places to eat (and drink) around the corner. There are also two supermarkets very close by.

Our host Marielise was very helpful and polite! Thanks for everything! The location is great! The apartment is very nice and clean!
