Superbe maison tout confort. Grande chambre et super literie. Grand salon-salle à manger-cuisine. Super SDB avec accès à un traditionnel sauna en intérieur (super en fin de journée quand il pleut !). Machine à laver et sèche linge parfait. Grand espace extérieur avec possibilité d'utiliser le BBQ et le sauna extérieur (plus sympa en hiver sous la neige). Les hôtes sont super accueillants et réactifs. N'hésitez pas !

Com a molt, faltaria un exprimidor de taronges i penjadors a l'habitació.

Upea majoitus, kylpyhuone oli erityisen kiva. Käytettävissä oli puusauna. Paikka on koiraystävällinen, löytyy ruoka- ja juomakupit. Tiedoksi kuitenkin, että koiraa ei saa ottaa sänkyyn tai sohvalle. Pihassa koiralle tarvittaessa oma aitaus koppeineen, mutta kannattaa huomioida, että se kasvaa korkeaa heinää. Ikkunoissa on hyttysverkot, joka on oikein hyvä tähän ympäristöön. Mukavaa, että majoituksessa on vieraskirja. Sateisille säille Playstation 3 on plussa.

Ulkona tähän aikaan vuodesta paljon hyttysiä, joka ei ole majoittajan syy, mutta tähän kannattaa varautua.

Excellent location north of the city, beautiful wilderness surrounding, inside and outside sauna. Perfect!

La ubicación es fantástica, cerca del centro y el aeropuerto. Nosotros no teníamos coche y entre taxi & Uber sin problema llegamos a todos lados. La villa maravillosa, con todos los detalles, puedo decir que me sentí en casa estando a tantos km de distancia. Los paseos mágicos, las vistas desde la villa espectaculares. Conseguimos ver las auroras 2 noches consecutivas. Muchísimas gracias.❤️

Nous y avons passé un séjour a 5 dans cette Super maison au milieu des bois , a pied d'un élevage de reine et chien de traineau... Plusieurs chemîn de ballade a travers la forêt La propriétaire était très sympathique à nous conseiller les heures des aurores ... Nous y retournerons

Fabulous property for a trip to Rovaniemi. Private location for authentic visit to Finland. Ideal for families with kids to base themselves for snow fun. Owners very helpful before, during and after the trip.

E' stata in assoluto l'esperienza su booking migliore di sempre, Eero è sempre stato disponibilissimo, è un pò come avere un amico a Rovaniemi, scrivi su whatsup ed è sempre li a consigliare ed aiutare. La casa è ben posizionata a 10 minuti dalla citta e 5 dal villaggio di babbo Natale e l'aeroporto. E' grande, spaziosa e caldissima considerando che fuori abbiamo toccato anche i -25 e dentro stavamo in maglietta. E' presente anche una sauna che dopo una giornata fuori al gelo è un vero toccasana. Noi abbiamo visitato durante il periodo natalizio e quindi Eero ci ha fatto trovare un albero di natale addobbato, e le luci sugli alberi all' esterno il che rendeva la casa magica per le bambine. Eero organizza anche un escursione in un terreno di sua proprietà lontano dalla citta dove è possibile aspettare l aurora boreale grigliando delle salcicce in un bel fuoco da campo. A 300 metri dalla villa è presente anche una fattoria di Huskies e renne dove (PRENOTATE) è possibile fare l' esperienza di provare le slitte trainate dagli uni e dalle altre. Veramente il top consigliato sotto ogni punto di vista. Grazie Eero alla prossima!

We loved the atmosphere, high ceilings and it was nice and warm in the house. Sauna was great. Beds were comfy and linens were clean and good quality. Netflix on TV.

Just some minor things. We were missing some lids to the pans. Kitchen cleanliness was 9/10. Wished for another toilet, a bit uncomfortable to use when someone was relaxing in sauna. Everything else was superb.

It's one of the best places to stay! Good location! And the owners are very friendly. I really recommend it if you want a good place to stay.

I liked the huge amount of space around the house to play in the snow. The location was also good being about 10 minutes for the airport. The hosts were very responsive to any questions.

A cosy, clean, comfortable and welcoming property. The location in winter is just breathtaking. Lots of wonderful little details that enhanced the wonderful atmosphere. A warm haven after a day in the snow. The outdoor sauna was an exciting edition. All in all, a fabulous stay and so highly recommended. The owners had great communication also.

Villa Walti was absolutely amazing. It was warm and so homely. It had everything we could possibly need, the amenities were brilliant. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Best holiday rental we have ever used. Magical location.

Wonderful property in the woods with its own indoor and outdoor saunas, indoor fireplace and covered barbecue hut outside. The cabin is easy to reach by rental car and well located not far from Santa Claus Village. I loved everything about our stay - comfy beds, beautiful surroundings, great amenities, attentive hosts. Great for families with children too.

A home away from home, very cosy clean and comfortable ! Kids had hours of fun playing outside villa Wallti. We even viewed the Northern lights from the house.

It is a cozy cabin in a good place where you can feel the nature and the tranquility of everything. The amenities are well maintained and the owner was kind all the time with us and gave us some tips to be comfortable.

Loved the place. It has everything that a family with 2 small kids would need and it is perfectly located in the woods but not too far from Rovaniemi. We enjoyed our stay ! And all the good tips from Mari and Eero.

One house apartment was cozy and my children could play in front of the house safely.

Villa Wältii is just a few minutes away from Rovaniemi and Santa Claus VIllage. Wältii surrounding area is quiet and at the same time stunning. We booked it during February, where there's lots of snow. Whenever we opened the blinds in the morning, we have been greeted with trees covered in thick layers of snow. Opening the windows enabled us to hear the huskies from a farm not far away as well, as the huskies were earger to start their trip. As there was so much snow, our kids had great fun. The were able to build their igloos everywhere, basically everyday. The VIlla itself is very, very spacious. There are two entrances, one main entrance, and the other one pointing directly towards the outdoor sauna. Once entering the Villa, you saw min attraction inside the house. A big room that offered a couch, kitchen, dining/breakfast table. All that surrounds an oven that can be used, IF someone should freeze inside the Villa. If, because it was very warm, sometimes even too warm, even though the outside temperature was -19°C for a day. The kitchen offerd all necessary stuff, like e.g., kitchenware, coffee machine and a dishwasher. Everything was clean and tidy. Same applys for the bedrooms. The washing maschine enabled us to bring less warm clothes in our travel bags. There was also an in-house sauna which we used once after a cold day - perfect. All in all, we would love to stay again in Villa Wältti.

Nothing really. If someone is picky, you could argue that the trash can is a 2 minute walk away.

The hoise is really cozy and has all the lixuries one would want from a winter getaway. 2 saunas were a plus. The design is nordic, but still fun and the extra layer of elfing up the decoration was really nice.

Not mich to say here, if only that the outside trashcan is a bit walking away.

Fantastic. a cozy, warm, clean and comfortable house in the winter forest. Host prepares well before your arrival. Close to a lake for north light hunting, you may also see the aurora in the yard if the weather is good. Outdoor Sauna is amazing experience.

Villa Waltti was a magical Villa in the woods when we arrived it was lit up with lanterns and Christmas decorations inside which instantly got us into the Christmas spirit. The hosts we super friendly and helpful with local advice and let us know when the Northern Lights were visible in the area so we could be sure to see them. The Villa was comfortable and cosy with everything you would need.

Fantastic villa in a stunning location. Close enough to the town to be able to get to all amenities easily but still feels in the wilderness. A short walk to the fantastic nearby reindeer and husky farm.

On a honeymoon with my wife and newborn in Europe, 5 countries, 10 accommodations and I have to say Villa Waltti is the best among all. Owners Eero and Mari treated us sincerely. They care for our well-being and comfort everyday. Also, their house is exceptionally beautiful and comfortable with indoor and outdoor sauna. Location is extremely good, 5min drive to Apukka viewing point to catch the aurora, and Eero and Mai will help us keep a lookout.

All was fine.

It was a beautiful and quiet house. The host was super helpfull and responded quick. We didn't understand the pizza oven, she explained it quickly and very well. The sauna was great, and the suroundings were beautiful. The house was near the 'big' road, but you didn't hear anything. I would recommend this house to anyone!

The only thing that could have been better was one of the beds. One bedroom had a small two person bed, although the bed was comfertable, it was a bit too small.

Perfect stay without any exception!

Our experience in Villa Wältti has been perfect. When we arrived, all the way to the cottage was decorated with candles and when we entered the house there was an old radio playing Christmas music. Just a dream. The heating system was already on, something we really appreciated. We felt at home from the very beginning. The cottage has everything you need and it is beautifully decorated. It is five minutes driving from Santa Claus Village. Close enough for going there daily and far enough to enjoy nature peacefully. There is a reindeer and husky farm nearby. The owners checked on us several times to see if we needed something or to recommend some activities. I am recommending this cottage to anyone coming to Santa Claus Village. Thank you for everything.

The Villa was beautiful, just what we had hoped for and more, well equipped for our needs, and the hosts were incredible. The little personal touches were much appreciated. The beds were so comfortable, and the Villa was lovely warm and welcoming after a long day in the snow. Our little girl loved her room during her stay, and the saunas were loved by us. Such a cosy villa we absolutely loved it and can not wait to return! Close to all the attractions, and we loved our woodland walks to see the huskies and reindeer at the nearby farm.

Nothing at all from the hosts. Unfortunately Booking.com charged me twice for the stay in error, which I am still trying to resolve weeks later but Eero the host even tried to help with this for us too, absolutely above and beyond!

It was a wonderfull stay! The place is close to the centre and Santa village, the house is clean and it has all the comforts you have at home. When you get to the house from a day of fun, there are a fireplace and 2 sauna’s indoor and outdoor waiting tot you. It’s clean and really cozy. Price wise It’s probably the best value for money concidering that a lot of the hotels in the neighbourhood a wat more expensive. I would definitely recommend Villa Wältti to all. kind regards, Yoran
