Great location for the greenway and exploring the Cooley Peninsula. Clean and cosy house. Nice host.

Beautiful cosy little house with absolutely everything you would ever need for a home away from home. Right from the time of booking the host makes you feel so welcome and is so helpful. Would 💯 stay here again.

It was self catering but all modern conveniences…cooker , fridge , freezer, microwave Great knives, chopping boards , utensils . TV had lots of channels The Host , Marian was extremely welcoming . The pub next door, the Cornamucklagh house was lovely and Cormac was very friendly and informative A great pint of Guinness
The weather was fab so would have been nice to have a BBQ but we bought a disposable one which was fine . We knew it was a 5 mile drive into Carlingford when we booked ….it just meant that if we were having a meal and few drinks in Carlingford or Omeath , we had to get a taxi home
Very nice bar man in pub next door gave us the keys
Clean and tidy, bar next door. Friendly family business / hosts
Word of caution, stairs is steep for elderly people.
The property is in a very scenic neighborhood and easily accessible. The host is a very kind guy and also very helpful. There is a bat next door (also owned) by the owners of the property. Was nice hanging and, having drinks with locals.
Nothing really
The properly was excellent. Very clean & spacious. All Bedrooms were lovely. The added extras were appreciated. Kids loved this property.
Property was really clean. The host left extra touches such as biscuits, crisps & popcorn in the kitchen.
A lot of road noise from passing traffic.
The personal touches the little extras. The wee house is just a Fantastic stay. Cormac next door was just a pure gent and helped welcome us and make our stay that but more enjoyable. We will definitely be back
There wasn't a thing we didn't like about our stay.
Lovely house. Very clean and comfortable. Marion was very good in providing information and contact details if we needed them. Highly recommend.
Nothing
Clean, spacious and access to turn the heating on when needed.
Very tidy and well decorated property with modern and comfortable furnishings. Very convenient location. Accomodating hosts in Marion and her son.
Nothing really, could probably do with a hook lock on the bathroom door! :) It is next to the main road through to Omeath, but the road is quiet at night and the thick stone walls deaden the sound. I'm a light sleeper and didn't notice anything at night.
Beautiful house very homely , great location not to far from carlingford lovely views
The property was spotlessly clean. It is located in a quiet spot near both a small village and 2 large towns. The facilities within were excellent. It has everything a family or group of travellers would need for a stay. And the fact that the adjoining pub is now open owned by the same people is an added bonus. A superb place to stay.
Nothing
The house was spotless very comfortable and cosy. Everything we needed was there and welcome treats very kindly provided. Highly recommend The Wee House.
Amazing property!
The whole experience was fantastic and the host made everything easy as you could hope for
That we couldnt stay longer
Location was great. So close to Newry and Dundalk wasn’t too far either. Also less than 1 hour from Belfast. It was extremely spacious and was finished beautifully. There was so much thought out into the design and finish and it shows. Very comfortable home to stay in.
The property is cute and we enjoyed our stay.
There were steep steps that had not been mentioned and we were a bit far from a place to eat when we first arrived. It would be good to warn people.
The house is located 10 minutes drive from newry close to all amenities but it's in a very quite location. It is also close to carlingford adventure center and Marina. The house is very well kept. Marion was very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay
Everything was perfect. There was no wifi but network coverage in the area was good so we could manage
Excellent location
Lovely house, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Nice touches, kids toys etc.
Great location and had everything you needed for a short break.
Nothing
Very conveniently located halfway between dundalk and Newry, providing a good base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings. On the roadside, but the road quietens down at night.
As advertised, there was no WiFi available, and with the poor phone reception in the area, this is a little inconvenient
Everything about the wee house was amazing, I went with mum, aunt and my children my youngest is 1 and Marion had everything covered to keep him safe between high chair travel cot even a stair gate… the use of the “secret garden” as we called it was a bonus not to mention my baby loving the donkeys. Also the wee house is in perfect location Would definitely recommend staying here.
Great place, lovely people to deal with
Fridge freezer needs replacing , everything else fantastic, will stay again
Very comfortable and clean
Just one upstairs toilet
Clean, spacious, excellent hosts
No wifi
Every little thing was 10/10 beautiful holiday home. Marion was an absolutely amazing host. Nothing was too much. Lots of beautiful touches.
Exceptional place to stay comfortable, clean, and decorated to a high standard. Cooking utensils are a very high standard a pleasure to use, all appliances high quality. Location great for both sides of the border. Will definitely be back sometime in the future. Host very helpful and efficient.
Would have liked wi fi as my phone coverage was not great, but could not fault anything else.
very clean and welcoming.
Great location with our own cooking facilities. Highly recommended to any family staying
Location to a shop
Everything about the house was lovely. Spotlessly clean, great location for our visit, extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed.
I honestly can't think of anything.
The house is beautiful & immaculately clean. We didn't want for anything as everything you could possibly need is already there. Marion is a pleasure to deal with. We will most definitely be back ♡
Great wee house . Very good location for a base to venture from
Excellent property, John & Marion have gone out of their way to make their property amenable to everyone. Everything you would need is there. Beds were expecially comfortable. You do need a car to get around as it is a tad out of the way. O'Meath is 5 minutes, Carlingford 10 minutes and Newry about 20 minutes by car. Lovely scenery, loads of walks, especially the Slieve Foye Woods, just a few minutes away.
Nothing much, traffic is a bit noisy during the night, didn't affect us too badly. Other than that, we had no issues.
The property could easily have accommodated six people with three double bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms and a well equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room. There were tables and chairs outside the property and we had access to a magnificent garden.
