Hyvä sijainti.

Etsimme majapaikkaa, joka sisältää saunan samassa huoneistossa. Saavuttuamme sauna mahdollisuus toki oli, mutta se ei sisältynyt huoneistoon. Sitä ei jääty murehtimaan, vaan nautimme Savonlinnan minilomasta kaikin puolin. Kiitos siististä ja kodinomaisesta majoituksesta.

Tilava ja viihtyisä 1. kerroksen asunto hiljaisella alueella, lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Myös parkkipaikka löytyy suoraan asunnon edestä.

L'emplacement et le calme de l'appartement

Le manque de réactivité des propriétaires quand en fin d'après-midi nous leur avons signalé par ecrit et appel téléphonqiue qu'il y avait un soucis avec la chasse d'eau. Nous n'avons eu un retour que le lendement en milieu de matinée alors que nous avions déjà quitté le logment.

A very nice apartment in peaceful area near the city center.

Hyvä rauhallinen sijainti kävelyetäisyydellä keskeisistä vierailukohteista. Hyvä keittiökalusto.

Puhaltimista huolimatta huoneisto oli aika lämmin helteisestä säästä johtuen. Booking.com'n lupaamaa silitysmahdollisuutta emme löytäneet, mikä oli oopperaan menijöille suorastaan katastrofaalista.

Hyvä sijainti Savonlinnassa, rauhallinen ympäristö. Hyvä keittiövarustus.

Ongelma WC:n kanssa, joka selvisi kyllä, kun soitin omistajalle ja hän hoiti asian kuntoon. Hieman huono ilmanvaihto.

Location was very good

It was so hot in the flat...Very difficult to sleep despite use of fan....

It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience staying for two days in Savonlinna, and I was fortunate enough to find a welcoming apartment like Casino Islands Retreat. The house was fantastic and equipped with everything I needed: a well-stocked kitchen, a very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and pillows, a sofa, a TV, a washing machine, and much more. Towels were included, and everything was very clean. For a small fee, you can use the on-site sauna, but I didn't try it. The apartment is in a perfect location in Savonlinna, about 15 minutes from the bus station, close to Olavinlinna Castle, Savonlinna Market Square, a supermarket, and a beautiful trail leading to Suloosari Island for enchanting walks around the lake. I couldn't ask for more, a heartfelt thank you to Sege and Rebecca for giving me the opportunity to stay in their lovely apartment with a reservation made just the day before. I really hope to return soon!

No bidet and the shower changes to faucet easily on its own so you need to pull the button up a lot of time during use. 😊

Rauhallinen ja mukava

Hyvin siisti ja viihtyisä. Keskeisellä paikalla, lyhyt kävely Olavinlinaan ja rauhallinen sijainti. Parkkipaikka autolle aivan asunnon edessä.

Yksityisyydestä, koko huoneisto oli vain minun käytössä.

Sijainti oli ehkä minulle liian kaukana keskustasta tänä kesänä, kun minulla oli maaliskuussa tehty nilkassa operaatio. Kävellen oli hieman hidasta liikkua, mutta lomallahan ei ole kiire, joten kun varasi riittävästi aikaa siirtymisiin, niin ehti hyvin.

Siisti huoneisto ja rauhallinen sijainti.

Kaikki vastasi täysin kuvausta ja kaikki toimi. Sijainti tosi hyvä. En tuntenut Savonlinnaa ennalta, joten en tiennyt, miltä suunnalta majoitus kannattaa ottaa, mutta tämä oli täydellinen valinta. Saaret ja vesistö hurmasivat jopa näin marraskuussa. Majoitus oli rauhallisessa paikassa. Asunnossa oli kaikki tarvittava.

Hemos estado dos noches y ha sido genial. El apartamento es perfecto, no falta ningún detalle. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Volveríamos sin dudarlo ☺️

Ei mitään niin isoa, että viitsisi kirjoittaa esim. isolle miehelle tarvittaisiin isompi pyyhe ja tv voisi olla ajantasalla mm. sovellusten suhteen :-)

Very nice appartment with everything you need, located in a wonderful area, perfect for walking and swimming on the islands nearby. And the owner was very friendly, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Sijainti oli suhteellisen lähellä keskustaa, vain noin vartin kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneisto oli siisti, kiva ja kodikas. Pieni, mutta riittävän iso ainakin kahdelle. Oli puhdasta ja pedit valmiina. Ohjeet olivat selkeät, lisätietopyyntöihin vastattiin nopeasti. Sauna oli asunnon viereinen ovi. Takaoven kautta pääsi suoraan parkkipaikalle ja ikkunan alla ulkona oli istumapenkit. Pyykkikone ja kahvipaketti + suodatinpussit plussaa. Suosittelen!

Vaikka nyt ei ollut enää edes hellettä, asunto oli tosi tosi lämmin, kaikki räppänät pidettiin auki ja tuulettimet päällä, silti tarkeni. Isolla moottoripyörällä parkkipaikka oli hieman haasteellinen, parkkipaikalle käännytään keskeltä jyrkkää mäkeä. Parkkipaikalta lähdettäessä saa olla varovainen, polkupyöräilijät tulevat kovalla vauhdilla mäkeä alas ja näkyvyys huono, risteys epätasainen pysähtyä moottoripyörällä. Parkkipaikka ei ole asvaltoitu, moottoripyörän jalan alle kannattaa varata jotain tasaista. Asunnossa ei ollut mitään isoja puutteita, pieniä juttujakin kaipailin hyvin vähän, esim. Seinäkelloa.

Excellent location on the Casino Island. 15min walk to the Olavinlinna Castle and other islands with their beautiful woods, lovely possibility to go swimming from the cliffs or small beaches. Charming cafe "Lettukahvila". Easy parking at the property. Nice living-kitchen-dining area. Well equipped kitchen, all we really needed.

Really tiny bedroom. At arrival we found dirty knives, dishes and half eaten food in the kitchen drawers. The cutting knives were dull, not usable. We happened to have a sharpening rod with us and did the job. The response of the manager/owner came after 12 hours: "Oh, I´ll tell the cleaner. Well, I will get a sharpening rod to the unit later." The weather was very hot and the fan provided did not help much. This is not the fault of the owner but in the future I recommed them to get at least a removable air.con.

Location is excellent. Walking distance from center but still on a very quiet neighbourhood.

Parking lot is somehow cramped but it may be because our car is a bit bigger than usually.

Amazing place, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here were I to come back to Savonlinna. Friendly owners, great location and all the amenities you could wish for. Great price-quality offer, especially in Finland where everything tends to be very expensive.

I really liked my stay here. It’s a 15min walk to the sights and the little old town, but it was comfortable, and the staff was nice and responsive. Price was also reasonable. I’d stay here again.

Wished the bikes provided were in better condition. Other than that, no complaints!

A very lovely flat in a great location. Easy access to the main points of interest (i.e town centre, train station, bus stations, nature, food stores). Pet-friendly (my dog got a special welcome). Warm flat, comfortable bed, kitchen has all amenities, blackout curtains in the bedroom, easy communication with the hosts. What else to wish for. Definitely a place we would come back to stay in if we go to Savonlinna again!

Convenient and peaceful location within short walk from the castle and the town.

Great little base for a few days. Excellent hosts with great communication. Kitchen well equipped, bed super comfy.

All the rooms were perfectly equipped and the kitchen was excellent even!

Only downside was wifi that wasn't stable throughout the house and weak in general.
