Apartamento perfecto en La Gaulette. Nos encantó la zona, el apartamento, la limpieza, amplitud y trato de la propietaria. Desde primer momento super abierta a ayudarnos con lo que necesitaramos. Estábamos cerca de la playa y, sobretodo, de la zona de Le Morne, que es lo que nos interesaba. El balconcito es maravilloso para desayunar y hay mucha intimidad en todo momento, ya que el acceso al apartamento es independiente.

Por la noche se escuchaba el sonido de una bombona de agua, algo molesto.

Die Dusche kannte kein Warmwasser. Entweder eiskalt oder kochend heiss )für 30 Sek= aber es gibt einen Wasserkocher, der hilft. Darüber hinaus ist das Mobiliar dringend erneuerungsbedürftig.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and well located. The host was extremely helpful and responsive.

Logement bien situé pour faire le morne et les alentours. Literie confortable. Grand espace extérieur sur la terrasse. Cuisine bien aménagé

Ce sont des petits détails. La wifi ne fonctionne que dans le salon, des qu’on s’éloigne un peu il n’y a plus de connexion. Manque des finitions dans l’appartement (porte de salle de bain, Clim qui fonctionne mais qu’on ne peut pas diriger les ailettes) Manque de présence des propriétaires. Nous avons vu leur fille, mais eux ne se sont jamais présenté

Un appartement très spacieux et confortable idéalement placé dans la Gaulette près du Morne. L'accompagnement de nos hôtes était parfait.

Appartement spacieux et confortable. A 10 mn du Morne. Dans un lotissement calme. Tout le nécessaire y est pour un séjour de qualité. Mention spéciale pour la literie très spacieuse.

Tout était super à tous les niveaux (emplacement, propreté, gentillesse,..). Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Excelente ubicación, apartamento amplio y muy cómodo. La anfitriona fue muy hospitalaria y atenta en todo momento.

Como pequeña sugerencia, sería ideal añadir una cortina en la puerta para mayor privacidad desde el exterior.

We stayed 2 nights which really wasn't enough. The apartment was spacious, clean, very well equipped and in a good location in La Gaulette. The owners are very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything.

La squisita, eccezionale gentilezza di Desirée e del marito Didier. L'appartamento è pulitissimo, il letto comodissimo. Tutto perfetto.

Le studio était parfait, très propre, bien équipé et parfait pour visiter le sud de Maurice ! Le couple qui s’occupe de l’appartement est très gentil et à disposition au besoin ! Je recommande sans hésiter !

Very clean apartament in nice surrounding. Very big terrace and huge comfortable bed. Well equipped market is just around the corner. Owner is also nice and helpful. Kitchen has all necessary facilities.

Might consider adding mosquito nets in the windows.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall setup of the apartment was really nice. The balcony was absolutely amazing and a great spot to relax. I loved the mango tree in the backyard, and the birds eating the fallen mangoes :D There was one EU plug near the kettle (the rest were UK), which was helpful for charging my devices without an adapter. The apartment is independent, offering privacy, and located above the host's place, accessible using a few stairs.

The WiFi was very weak, but it wasn’t an problem for me, since I had a local SIM card. Also, the bathroom door couldn’t close, which could get quite inconvenient. Thanks to the location of the bathroom near the exit and away from common paths/the bedroom, it wasn’t a very big issue for us.

Host and hostess were very prompt with all concerns and provided us a bonus night at a cousin's property for free when there was a conflict with room bookings.

One incident that was dealt with quickly and relatively painlessly and is not likely to affect anybody in the future - a one off type issue that they met and resolved without a lot of bother on our part.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Le Colonial Cocoon Apartement 2. It was really clean and the view from the balcony was incredible! The Hosts were really helpful and kind! We would definitely recommend staying at the apartment!

Big terrace with comfy chairs and great view on the mountains. Nice bedroom with large comfy bed, mini-balcony and A/C. The hosts were very helpful and were very responsive to our queries and requests.

Some facilities listed in the description is not available - oven, iron..etc The bathroom door handle needs to be repaired else you get stuck inside.

Apartment was absolutely awesome. Extremely private, fully equiped with huge balcony. It is located literally next to the supermaket and restaurant serving really good burgers and seafood. Close to Le Morne mountain and Le Morne beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. As well as close to Chamarel Rumerie and Seven coloured world. It's not a tourist area, however, if you want quite place with awesome place to chill, it's great place to be. Looking forward to come back again. Owners super friendly and helpful.

WiFi is provided, however, extension router is not working properly and needs to be restrted. However, sorted by local SIM card. Late evening running out with hot water, however, it's not a big deal.

The apartment was very nice and clean, with a spacious porch.

Amazing hospitality from the hosts. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly and would have stayed longer if I could. Le Morne is one of the highlights of my months stay in Mauritius and a must see when touring the island.

Perfect self catering place, kitchenette is well equipped, everything is clean. Very helpful and friendly owners. We booked apartment 2, but Colonial Cocoon Studio and Apartement (also on Booking), is smaller inside but has much larger terrace and would be our choice for a next visit. The accommodation is walking distance from the restaurants and beach and supermarket is next door.

Some small maintenance jobs and painting needs to be done.

What a lovely, well-designed little apartment! The owners are so friendly and helpful and it's on a great location, close to restaurants and the beach.
