Everything! There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect. Bed is comfortable, view is spectacular, massage was relaxing......every detail was perfect.

This accomodation was amazing! Exceeded all our expectations, such a beautiful accomodation, and so cozy and comfortable. The sky roof over the bed was such a nice feature. Stargazing from here is so beautiful, the views of the lake you get from the front porch is stunning as well! If that's not enough you are just a short drive to the front of Lake Tekapo for even better views and stargazing. All amenities provided was great and made the stay even better!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was spotless, and the door code made check-in effortless. After 10 days of travelling, having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was an absolute bonus. The views were stunning, but the real highlight was the skylight above the bed. Lying in bed and watching the Milky Way was such a special experience. Another unforgettable moment was soaking in the hot tub at sunset while surrounded by snow. Truly magical. The location was perfect, close to town and everything we needed, including the delicious Fishtail Restaurant, serving authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Vic and Steve were fantastic hosts, friendly, helpful, and even organised the Soccer World Cup Final on the TV for us. The perfect place to relax and take in the incredible beauty of Lake Tekapo. Thank you, Vic and Steve, for a memorable stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

View was beautiful. Was quiet and cosy. Rooms were spacious. Owner was helpful. When another guest parked in front of our room blocking the view, owner helped once he was notified.

Parking was a bit tight.

Excellnet apartment, location, neighbourhood, well furnished and upkeep of the apartment. The ownership was helpful in accomodating and helping us settle in the appartment.

The price for the stay can be better.

The view is really nice, can see lake from living room. Even enjoy the aurora just outside the room

It’s not a dislike, but the location is not friendly for visitors without a car. (Ofc you may ask the owner for help, they will send a driver to you, $30 every time)

The kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Bathroom facilities were good. Plenty of space and lovely view

The cooking utensils were not cleaned.

位置就在湖边上，景色不错，也很方便，离牧羊人教堂和超市都很近，开车都是 5 分钟之内到达，酒店环境整洁卫生，停车也方便。

要是有电磁炉和抽油烟机就更好了，在酒店想煎牛排只能用一个电锅，而且由于煎牛排时有烟还触动了烟雾报警器。

Amazing location with a very clean house. Would have been amazing in slightly warmer conditions.

A little cold as the heat pumps didn't warm the whole house. A few portable heaters would have made it way more comfortable.

Beautiful location and nicely appointed room

The accommodation was very nicely presented and had a great view over the lake. A good range of cooking and eating utensils were provided. It was clean and spacious. Loved the lights next to the bed- very cool!

The super-fast internet was glitchy throughout our stay and packed up completely on the morning of our departure.

​Great location with a beautiful lake view! It’s about a 22-minute walk to the main area of Lake Tekapo, which makes for a very pleasant stroll. ​A standout feature is the full Google Home setup, allowing you to easily control the lights, music, and more. The kitchen is very handy, equipped with a microwave-oven and all the essential utensils. You can really tell the hosts put thought into picking the furniture, giving the whole place a sleek, modern look. A wonderful surprise was finding two portable luggage racks in the room—a small but incredibly practical detail! ​Though the weather didn’t cooperate for stargazing from the bed, having a skylight window right above it is still a fantastic touch.

​The only minor drawback was the bathroom layout. Although aesthetically pleasing, it lacked a bit of practicality. ​While the all-glass shower cabin looks great, water tended to leak from the base and door gaps during use. This soaked the bath mat immediately, leaving us without a dry surface to step out onto. Additionally, the built-in shower shelf, though stylish, is too compact to accommodate all standard toiletries for two tenants. ​These were not major issues, but improving these functional details would make the stay perfect.

Great location, easily parking, nice house and facilities, has the separate for living room and bedroom with own TV for each room. All the things look just like pictures on booking. Complete kitchenware for the cook. Very technology friendly, has all the light and tv connect with google pad. In the morning, the view is amazing and has the balcony to get tanned. In night, it is easy to see the star. You also has a window right at the top of your bed so you can do some stargazing. The information is completely and you can find everything through the link that the host provided. It must be a very expensive one to be so wholesome.

If I really need to think of something, I can hear sound when the next door hit the wall😂 but this only happens when your neighbor is very loud.

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Tekapo. The most outstanding highlight was the breathtaking lake view — waking up to such beautiful and peaceful scenery was truly unforgettable. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The environment was quiet and perfect for unwinding. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. I really wish we could have stayed longer, and I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a washing machine and dryer, which would be helpful for longer stays

This was an absolute joy to stay in. It was like walking into a 5 star resort. This was presented so beautifully, with breath taking views. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This was one of the highlights of our trip

This hotel is spacious with convenient parking. The beds are very comfortable, and the living room is large with a view facing Tekapo. It takes about a 6–7 minute walk to reach the lakeside. All the utensils, cookware, and facilities provided by the hotel are very new. Highly recommended.

The design of the bathroom and kitchen is quite strange. Towel hanger is far from the shower room and there is no cook top in the kitchen even though there are a lot of kitchenware.

everything is excellent, except, if your room is A, it is between B and C, first we cannot find the room, we are so scared, however, luckily we discover it later. I think you have to advise guess the Room A is between B and C cause the entrance is not easy to notice.

The house has several good points, includng the house is very clean and new, the light is bright, parking is very convenient, bath shower is strong enough, the kitchen equipments are new, the bed is comfortable. Especially, the view by the lake is very beautiful and the landlord is very helpful and friendly.

Great location, walking distance to Church and shops while not so crowded. It’s a quiet location with spectacular view to Lake Tekapo.

Plenty of space in the part of the house we were staying in. Two bedrooms with on suite bathrooms. Showers were great, beds were comfortable. Nice living room with a good view of the lake. It's about a 20 minute walk into town, where there are several places to eat and shop. The place was clean and well maintained.

We had a situation where one of the attached units was cooking, which caused the fire alarm to go off. It took us a minute to figure out that they had set it off, but we could not keep the alarm off. This went on for about 20 minutes. They opened windows and doors, but it took some time. I think we had the only controls on our side?

Nice big room with an outdoor area overlooking the lake. All the facilities you could possibly need and still only a couple of minutes drive to the centre.

Can’t fault, great accommodation and personal touches (hot chocolate, tea, coffee, milk and cookies!) basic kitchen equipped which had no faults. We liked the skylight above the bed for stargazing and view of the lake. Great view and location. Modern and very clean. Easy instructions and parking.

Loved it all, but maybe worth noting that the shower head didn’t stay straight in the holder so had to keep moving it/holding it.
