Reviewed Sep 3, 2026What we loved most was the spaciousness of the apartment, the large balcony overlooking the bay and the views were absolutely spectacular both during the morning and night. The king size bed was very comfortable and luxurious. We were a group of 4 adults and we never got into each other’s way and it was very relaxing. It was nice that the apartment was cleaned twice during our stay which kept everything clean.
I booked the property as I really wanted to enjoy the luxurious experience of a bath. Unfortunately, the water kept coming out of the bath. I sent a message to Robby & Rajiv and was promised that maintenance would be over to have a look and try to repair. Nobody came to look at the bath and it was never followed up. So I’m disappointed that I didn’t get what I paid for. The shower leaked in the 2nd bedroom. The dishwasher needs to be repaired. Generally, there are some maintenance that needs to get done in this particular apartment.

Es war soweit alles sehr gut, den Erwartungen entsprechend. Etwas mühsam war der online-checkin. Da ich eine e-Simkarte hatte konnte ich auch die Kautionssicherstellung nicht machen, weil der Tan nicht an die e-Simkarte gegangen ist. Etwas mühsam, lange herumprobiert.....

Kein Garten (wie in der Beschreibung auf der Website der lokalen Vermietung erwähnt) vorhanden Mikrowelle sowie 2 der 3 Fernseher defekt Sauberkeit grenzwertig (z.B.: beim Barfusslaufen direkt nach Einzug hatte man nach kurzer Zeit komplett schwarze Füsse) Pool um die Ecke trotz expliziter vorheriger Zusage nach ein paar Tagen wg. Renovation geschlossen Keine Reaktion auf Aufforderung zur Preisreduktion trotz mehrfacher Erinnerung, nur Angebot für ein Lunch

Reviewed Dec 13, 2024Gorgeous balcony with view onto the river and the beautiful green garden. Amazing place to enjoy breakfast „at home“. It’s in a secured area which of course made me feel safe but also kinda weird… the apartment was huge… every of the 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped. Staff was very friendly and always reachable by whatsapp and gave lots of recommendations for restaurants, shops, beaches, etc… private parking spot, which is a plus, too.
Check-in and out process was a little complicated, every little part was counted. The apartment could be cleaner, there was hair/dust on the floor, crumbs and stains on the couch and (old?) blood stains on the bed sheets. It seemed that the cleaning personnel was in a rush. Furniture looks very used with a lot of damages, should be replaced soon.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, the furniture is excellent and all kitchen amenities you imagine are available(oven, microwave, plates, cups, spoons, forks, pots, pans, toaster, different types of spatulas,kettle, coffee mashine, washing machine, dishwasher, drying rack, Iron...ect). It was a great stay.
We didn't have a pool attached to our apartment, but there were other pool outside available. We didn't like that the bathroom had no bidet and the shower open in the room (no privacy if you are 2 friends or siblings)

Reviewed Jul 8, 2024A large spacious,1st floor apartment overlooking beautiful palm tree gardens and the river below. We really enjoyed the large covered patio, that gave us the freedom to enjoy our meals outside even while it rained. Ingrid was a delight in staying in touch, checking in and out.

There was construction and piling being done, which ruined what was going to be a peaceful stay. In response to our complaints, the agents offered us a 10% discount and adviserd that construction started earlier than expected. I was insulted that they believed a minor discount would rectify the absolute displeasure and noise we had to endure through our stay.

Reviewed Dec 6, 2023Lovely location, close to all shops and the beach. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Apartment has everything you would need for your stay. Corner unit so fairly quiet and private balcony with lots of palms. Very good communication during the reservation process and very friendly team.
Some minor confusion finding the apartment and take note that location is actually La Balise and not West Coast Marina, important if booking a taxi on booking.com in addition to your stay. Unfortunately the main entertainment area - main pool and lounging areas - were unavailable for use as the restaurant was under renovations. A bit of a disappointment as we were hoping to spend a day relaxing by the pool. There is a second pool but it is more of a lap pool next to the road.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2022The Black River/Tamarin area is a great place to stay on the island as there are lots of quiet beaches and hikes close by. The apartment is situated close to some good restaurants and shops and is very easy to get to. The complex that the apartment is in is very beautiful and upmarket. The apartment itself was very spacious, well decorated, and had all the amenities that you needed for your stay (aircon, barbeque, welcome pack, Nespresso machine etc.) We were there for 10 days doing a combination of working and holiday and the apartment was perfectly set up for both. There is also a big complex pool for the block which was a bonus.
The apartment, while beautiful, has a few dings on 1 or 2 of the walls which could use a quick repair job. The wifi is very good in the living area but the signal isn't strong enough in the main bedroom and should have a booster installed.
