The hospitality was so great, everything we needed (and more) was provided for us upon arrival. During the stay the room was cleaned every day and the staff and owner were very friendly. We felt so welcome there and the hottub was an absolute delight during the stay. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay! The apartment is super cozy and completely thought through to the smallest details: a small kitchen, AC, plenty of storage, fresh beach towels, and even a beach umbrella. Instead of a basic balcony, we had an amazing private terrace with sun loungers, perfect for cozying up in the evenings. Plus, the beach is genuinely just a short walk away. What truly made our stay special was Maria, our housekeeper. Every single day the room was spotless, dishes washed, towels replaced, and the bathroom dried up. Her English is fantastic, but most of all, she is just such a warm, radiant person who brightened our days every morning. Maria, if you're reading this: thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us! We couldn't have asked for a better host.

A quick heads-up on a couple of things: the shower is quite small, so the bathroom floor got wet easily. Also, the parking fits only three cars and requires a steep drive up, we actually ended up scratching our rental car, so be extra cautious if you aren't super confident driving on steep slopes!

The housekeeping lady, Marie, was the best. She was very kind and helpful. The property was close to the beach and had everything you needed.

L’accueil de Maria lors de notre arrivée à l’appartement, la présence d’une bouteille d’eau et de vin était très appréciée, le confort avec un grand lit, la propreté, la mise à disposition de matériels de plage, les places de parking devant le logement, le jacuzzi est un vrai plus, et le calme de l’appartement. Enfin, la visite de deux petits chats noirs étaient top !

Great location, only a five minute walk to the beach, it is up a small hill but most accommodation in the area is. Room was perfect and it was cleaned daily by the lovely Maria. Owners of the place are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this accommodation and the Paleokastritsa area in general.

Ottimo soggiorno. L'appartamento è curato nei minimi dettagli e super pulito. Le due signore sono gentilissime. Ci hanno lasciato anche salviettoni e una bottiglia di vino all'arrivo. La posizione è ottima, in pochi minuti sei in spiaggia a Paleokastritsa e nei vari ristoranti. La jacuzzi sulla terrazza una vera coccola. Consigliatissimo, andato super bene tutto.

Very friendly people, very clean, and they really clean when you go out somewhere to the beach for example. The distance to the best beaches in Paleokastritsa is very short. You can reach in 10 min on foot. I recommend on 100%. There is free parking also.

It was all good

We rented the junior suite with terrace (studio #2), which is just as wonderful as it looks on the pictures. The comfortable extra large bed, rain shower and two-person jacuzzi were a bliss. The kitchen contained enough basic equipment to make your own food, and there are also plenty of great restaurants neaby. Stavroula Studios is located on a steep hill, just 10 minutes walking to three nearby beaches and 5 minutes to a nearby supermarket. But it's far away from all noise. We had quiet neighbors; the upstairs neighbors are the owners, but they very much respect your privacy. We only had contact with the cleaning lady, Mariana, who was very hospitable and friendly, and did a superb job cleaning the studio every day. The location is excellent and the nature on Corfu is so beautiful. If you want to visit other areas of the island, like Porto Timoni and Cape Drastis, we do recommend renting a car. We stayed for 10 days, but wished we stayed longer. We'd love to return one day. Would highly recommend!

The refrigerator makes a very loud buzzing sound every time it turns on. There are a lot of mosquitos in the area (however there are mosquito screens in all doors and windows)

Perfect location, away from the cars and crowds. Room 4 is facing a beautiful olive grove with a shaded balcony. Mosquito nets mean open windows at night, so no need for air conditioning during the day. A 5 min walk to beaches and supermarkets.

Le balcon était le petit plus qui nous permettait de prendre le petit dej dehors même si la vue était vraiment médiocre sur une zone un peu chaotique (végétation et dépôts d’objets encombrants

Le descriptif n’était pas honnête. Nous pensions avoir une piscine commune et finalement les photos de la piscine étaient trompeuses car c’était une piscine privée pour un appartement seulement. Idem pour les jaccuzzis.

Es wurde alles positive bereits erwähnt! Sehr gute Ausstattung der Wohnung! Tipp: Falls die Anreise mit dem Auto erfolgt und man sich siebst verpflegen will, empfiehlt es sich in einem größeren Vorort einzukaufen. Es gibt zwar Supermärkte um die Ecke, aber teuer.

Très beau logement situé non loin du port et de la plage (5min à pied). Il est bien entretenu, la femme de ménage vient chaque jour nous remplacer les serviettes de douches, nettoyer le logement... On a plusieurs équipements à disposition : vaisselles, serviettes de douches et plages, gel douches, liquide vaisselle, fer à repasser, Parasol pour la plage...

Dommage que la télé ne soit pas une télé connecté, car finalement on ne peut pas regarder ce qu'on a l'habitude de regarder. Dommage que le jaccuzzi soit automatique et s'éteigne 22h, je penses pour ne pas déranger les voisins, mais ducoup les lumières led ne servent à rien et il faut penser à le chauffer avant si on veut l'utiliser le soir.

This property is in a great location in terms of access to beaches. It has a nice little balcony overlooking a valley. The complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival was appreciated.

The property could use a little TLC. The kitchen is fairly randomly equipped, e.g. only one wine glass. The shower is very small (tray with curtain) and it is virtually impossible not to flood the bathroom in the process of using it, with no toiletries holder. Generally the property was very quiet but there was a noisy event happening on the Sunday evening into the early hours of the morning which kept us awake.

A nice apartment house close to the centre.

Great comfortable and clean property! Acts as a good base to go explore the beaches and village and is close to shops and restaurants. The bedroom is very clean and fresh and the air conditioning was great to have in the heat! Good basic facilities like a fridge and hob which were very useful for making lunch and breakfasts and the property was cleaned daily which we appreciated a lot.

As other reviews have mentioned it is situated up a rather steep hill. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk up from the bottom but in the heat this can be quite difficult especially for those with health issues or older people. However again the property is air conditioned which is nice to get back to after this walk!

Lovely scenery, close to amenities and the beach

Very steep hill to get to the property. Shower kept on leaking out onto the floor as there was only a shower curtain. Beds were a bit hard.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Super easy access to lots of beaches and the bus stop is right down the hill. Also a supermarket right round the corner. The host is really sweet and is available for any questions via WhatsApp. Overall a really really lovely stay and will definitely be back!

Fabulous place to stay in easy walking distance of everything (it’s uphill back to the apartment but only 5 mins) Stavroula was very welcoming and helpful and the apartment was cleaned and beds made almost daily which was lovely. Bed was comfy place was super clean and views over the hills were lovely morning and evening on the terrace. Couple of notes which might be relevant to others (but didn’t concern us at all) 1- the WiFi was awful - there were two routers we could connect to but mostly there was no internet so if that is important to you it might be an issue 2-the listing says there are two large double beds whereas there is just one big bed that can be split into two singles. Again, no issue for us as was just me and my daughter but might be for someone else Thank you Stavroula for making our break utterly relaxing and lovely !

Superb apartment, beautiful inside and exceptionally clean. The apartments have been recently renovated and the owner is so friendly. Cleaned every day along with changing our towels, bath mat and kitchen towel regularly. The apartment is located up a little hill about 5 mins from the most beautiful beach. Cannot recommend this enough we couldn't be happier and had the best stay and didn't want to leave! Thank you again we hope to come back one day.

One of the most amazing apartments I've ever been in. It's the best when you're not only looking forward to leave the hotel to experience what Corfu has to offer, but also when you're looking forward to go back to your hotel to relax and recharge your energy. We also felt extremely safe and welcomed. If I ever come back to Corfu, this will definitely be number 1 on my list. The owner is also very kind and welcoming, and was available on WhatsApp during the whole stay.

We thought we would have swimming pool and that the extra bed was a bit small.

Everything. The whole stay and property is amazing. Everything is new and modern and you have everything you need for a perfect stay. The apartment is very comfortable, well set out and well stocked for cooking etc., you do not need to leave at all if you didn’t want to. The private pool is perfect and comes with two comfy sun-beds and a good umbrella - the actual pool and area outside is cleaned each morning. We were allowed an early check in and check out is not until 12.30 which is amazing and so unheard of - it meant we got an extra whole morning lounging in the sun in our favourite spot. The location is super quiet and tucked away from the main town meaning that there is no noise during the day or evening. The apartment has nothing above or next to it so it is silent in the night and no noise from neighbours etc Owners were really friendly and helpful We would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend booking this so you don’t miss out

We were told the room would be cleaned daily but only cleaned twice during our 5 day stay - this wasn’t too much of an issue apart from the bins filling up, especially the bathroom as the no toilet paper flushing rule in the country. At times the hosts didn’t respond on booking.com and we had to call (not sure if there was an issue here as they said they had responded) - when we did call they were amazing and very helpful as mentioned above WiFi wasn’t the best but everything else made up for it. Hairdryer only blows cold air Personal preference as we spent a lot of time in the apartment in the evening etc - Netflix or a smart TV would be an added bonus

Myself and my sister stayed at Stavroula Studios room 6 for 5 nights and had a brilliant time. The location is perfect, only 5 minute walk to the sandy beach and restaurants, and very close to a supermarket as well. The studio looked better in person than in the photos and had absolutely everything we needed; great air conditioning, very comfortable beds, free WiFi, powerful shower, toilet paper and soap provided, small well-equipped kitchenette, umbrella and towels for the beach, and a peaceful balcony which caught the afternoon sun. The lovely cleaner came every day and did an excellent job, the studio was always spotless after she came. The host was also very friendly and responsive. I think the price of the studio was very reasonable and good value. Overall we had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay and I would highly recommend staying at Stavroula Studios!

The only negative was that the building is located a couple minutes walk up a steep hill, but is absolutely fine if you are of average fitness.

The studios are situated on a steep hill, which we found quite strenuous walking back to it specially in the 38 degree heat. Would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or with a disability.

The cats wandering around the property were awesome

The property is in the average price range for Paleokastritsa. I don’t usually write reviews but noticed that others described the same or similar issues to us in their reviews (written after we had already booked) so thought this could be helpful for fellow travellers. Room not as described on booking.com For the same room we could choose the option “2 single beds,1 large double bed” or “2 single beds, 1 sofa bed”. The room was supposed to host up to 3 people. When we arrived the room was much smaller than 30sq mt (this is because the host included the balcony in the description) and there was only 1 bed with barely any space to walk. The shower did not work properly (hot water would not stop running) they send someone who, after wrestling with the taps for 5 minutes, told us to just “turn the taps” to switch off the water ( we had tried for 20 minutes) . The shower kept leaking for all of our stay. Draining system is poor and the bathroom would turn into the Titanic after each shower. We checked out early on day 4- our only mistake was not to do that on day 2. We tried to explain all above to the host, who was very rude (as mentioned in other reviews) and also tried to convince us that the comma in the description “2 single beds,1 large double bed” meant “or” and that we could choose between 2 beds and a double bed - which is not the case as the choice according to the description on booking.com was between sofa bed and double bed (with the two single bed being present in each description). The host did offer to upgrade us, but we were so stressed out after 4 nights at Stavroula studios that decided to go for a better place (which we luckily found, in Sidari) The studios are listed here as a 3 stars but it’s actually a 2 stars accommodation. The host was supposed to give us instructions some weeks before travelling but didn’t, we had to prompt them.

We had a wonderful time, the location has an excellent view of the Paleokastritsa Monastery hill area and towards the sea, the terrace was great, everything was clean in the room. We found cards and brochures in our room with a taxi number and suggestions of places to visit here. We saw the Aquarium and went on various boat rides. The host was very hospitable and provided the information we needed about Paleokastritsa. The bottle of wine she left in our room was a nice touch. The bathroom and the air-conditioning were also great. We liked the room a lot, we definitely recommend this property!

It is a great place, location is near the center and the main beaches. The rooms are cosy and well equipped for preparing dinner or breakfast if you want so. The villa is in a place with a lot of nature and olive trees, cats it is nice. 100 points for the clean rooms and the cleaning lady. The rooms are cleaned daily. Highly recommend this place - simple nice and clean. Thank you!

The room was a bit too dark, I had to turn on the lights during the day. Mosquitos and other insects, but it's expected given the location. If you don't have a car, it might be a bit uncomfortable climbing the hill during high temperatures.

Wow, what an amazing stay. This is probably my favourite property I have ever stayed at and certainly my favourite so far in all of Greece. The decoration is very charming and cozy, beds and pillows very comfortable (I love that they gave both firm and soft pillows, so many thoughtful touches like this...), wonderful jacuzzi, nespresso machine, and even complimentary wine to top it all off. We felt very comfortable and easily could have stayed much longer than the 5 nights. Anita the helpful housekeeper tidied every day and did a thorough clean and linen exchange after 3 nights which was very lovely. It's an amazing value and we didn't want to leave.

The jacuzzi was a little tricky to figure out, particularly to make the right temperature, perhaps a guide on how to use it would be helpful. Also the lights didn't work inside it (but that didn't bother us). To be fair I didn't ask the host for help on this. Our room (#2) didn't have a view of the sea, but I believe the other suite #1 does from the side - but that one is also a bit less private and we enjoyed the privacy. WiFi could be better but we didn't mind. Lovely stay!

We stayed for 7 nights in the apartment number 4 with view at the trees. It had great equipment: working AC, clean towels almost every day…I was glad that in the kitchen was dish soap, dish towel, sponge and salt. We even got water, wine and towels as presents. Be aware that the house is on the steep hill. Also the room we stayed in was in the “basement” so in the kitchen and bathroom with only small windows was not much light (maybe even benefit in the hot summer) but in the bedroom is balcony door so there is enough light. The room was cleaned every day and we were surprised when the cleaning lady even washed our dishes. And what is the best: the owner was super friendly and nice.

I have to point out that the shower was really small.

Everything! Stavroula, our host, met us and showed us in. We rented the villa with pool and were open-mouthed at how beautiful it is. The accommodation is open plan and decorated very stylishly in neutral tones. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is fully tiled and the shower is good. The kitchen has a two-ring hob, fridge, washing machine, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is a comfortable sofa and most importantly, air conditioning. Outside, there are two comfortable sun-loungers, a table, two seater and chair. There are two large sunshades and the dipping pool, though not large, is perfect for dipping into to cool off in the hot weather. Stavroula's husband, Andreas, watered the small lawn and flowers and cleaned the pool every morning. The villa is cleaned daily, including changing the bed, and is always spotlessly. We are in our seventies and during our stay, Stavroula popped by every morning to ask if we needed anything from the shop as she knew we found it difficult walking up the hill. She was the most wonderful host and made us feel extremely welcome.

The only thing is the steep hill it stands on although it is only about 150 meters up and an easy walk for younger people.

This hotel is close to town, although it is a steep walk up from town, The first night we were there, the room we had booked was unavailable, so we were upgraded to a suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was was softer than the hard beds we had been finding in Greece, there was a hot tub on the balcony. The second night the suite we were in was reserved, so we had to move to the room that we had originally booked. It was much more basic, and not so spacious, but it still had everything we needed, a balcony, a kitchenette, good A/C, etc. The bed was not so soft, but we were comfortable there too. Neither of the balconies had sea views, they looked into a the wooded hillside, but it was quite lovely.

We wished that there were a pool here, as it was quite hot. There was not a lot of parking, just a few spaces, but we got a space and then didn't use the car, we just walked in and out of town.
