Christine was a lovely host and an excellent chef. The structure is nice and clean. Absolutely recommended.
The place is a somewhat secluded farm so it's relatively quiet. We received some self-made rhubarb juice, which was nice. There were a few interesting items that indicated the sustainable approach they are taking. We could make use of the large dining hall.
The place was announced as a family room, but it barely fitted two people. (There was a sofa bed, but to use it the table would have to be moved outside.) Moreover, the bed was simple and the matras was not very good. No shampoo was provided. The stone floor was ok (might be cold outside summer), but not very tidy. The terrace in front of the room was muddy and the grounds around the visitor's part of the farm were not well kept. Overall, the farm didn't give a nice impression. I am all for sustainability, but here, sustainability seemed to have been confused with having to take little care. Having old stuff laying around is okay, and may create a nice atmosphere, but not in the way this was done. At certain sections, the farm felt like a junk-yard. At a much, much lower rate all of this might have been acceptable, but not for the one we booked it for. That suggested a premium experience, which it was far from.
A lovely place to stay! Very nice owners of the farm, and they take great care of the animals. A real commitment to sustainable living. Great for kids - our son already wants to go back!
Charming place in rural south Denmark. Our room was a refurbished stable, and the gees walked around freely when we woke up. We think this will be especially nice for families with smaller children. Very nice and friendly couple that runs the place
I could make myself completely empty. Perfect distination for relaxing holiday.
