Wunderschön alles war einfach super

Schöner wäre es gewesen direkt einen Badestrand statt einem surfstrand, kommt aber vielleicht auf die Saison an. Und es wäre cool gewesen, wenn es ein Restaurant oder Frühstück in von der Unterkunft gab.

It is right on the ocean with a strong breeze that keeps you comfortable all the time. We had great views of the ocean, lots of privacy, and enjoyed using the sun beds as well. The kitchen is very well stocked (eg salad spinner, carrot peeler, potato masher). The owner is helpful, hospitable, accommodating, and responsive. We had a wifi problem in the evening and he had people come that night to fix it.

We did not miss having AC in the bedroom as the overhead fan keeps you cool but it would be nice to have a fan in the main room. A sharp kitchen knife is needed. The ocean was too rough to swim in but it is a short drive to really nice beaches. A car is needed.

Nice at the sea side. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

In the immediate surrounding on walking distance there is not a lot to do or to explore. The staff however is very helpful giving advice.

The property was in a beautiful location, next to a beach with great waves for wind surfing (wouldnt recommend swimming). The bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and kept the place clean and tidy.

There seemed to be a lot of mosquitos this time of year(March), I got bitten a lot, not sure how they were getting in, maybe something could be done to combat that more.

The location was perfect for us as it was quiet. A nice bar two minutes up the road and only a five minute walk to the bus stop to get into town.

Amazing location, stunning place and lovely staff. Ginger our housekeeper what an absolute treasure she is! Such a warm and loving lady. Very few people on the beach if anyone at all, villas are very well kept, garden with sunbeds beautifully maintained.

Cmpared to what else we have seen the complex was very well maintained, pleasant architecture. The room was spacious and. well furnished and generally pleasing stylewise.

the area is remote and in off-season it is very quiet. Apart from the surfer's bar (~400m), which was viby and good on weekends, it is dead quiet. Due to the algae cloud nfestation the beach was not really usable. We would encourage the Hotel to have a small terrace, bar for the guests, for drinks in the evenings.

Seaview location. Refreshing air conditioning was welcome. Spacious balcony.

Some redecorating needed as paintwork worn and peeling in places. Balcony chair seats worn through in places. Beach suffering from seaweed. Beside a derelict and ruined hotel, which could be a bit off-putting for some.

Beautiful secluded area with nice common spaces. Very friendly staff as well!

Our unit had no A/C, but was comfortable with windows and doors open and use of fans at night

The villa was exceptional, exhibiting cleanliness, spaciousness, and meticulous upkeep. The property was impeccably maintained, and the terrace offered breathtaking morning views. The staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly; special commendation is due to Miss Ginger and our hostess, Chanice.

Views were superb...very clean...showers were very good. We had a problem with the air-conditioning unit and it was replaced with a new unit asap.staff very friendly.

No swimming available....needs a hot tub or swimming pool 8nstalling...air conditioning only in the bedroom so this is the only place to cool off....have to drive out to eat but for the money it was excellent.

Beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing holiday, felt very well looked after by everyone. I would definitely recommend

Strong winds kept made temperatures comfortable and the gardens were perfect for sun bathing and relaxing

A little off the beaten track and would recommend hiring a car to provide flexibility to get around and explore the island

I liked that the location was excellent, and the apartment was very spacious and clean. The surroundings were pristine, quiet, and very relaxing.

I didn't like that there was no microwave in the apartment, and there was a lack of a stable wifi connection within the room. Only certain areas of the apartment there was connectivity.

There is no pool.

Very cute seaside villa which was perfect for remote work! The wifi is fast and even reached out into the lawn area. We loved sleeping to the sound of crashing waves. Sharice was very helpful in helping us arrange a rental car and Ginger, the housekeeper was lovely! There is a security guard on site every evening.

You will definitely want to rent a vehicle if you stay here, as it’s a little off the beaten path. There aren’t a lot of restaurants or shops in the area, but Oistins is a 5-10 min drive and there are lots there. Also the water was a bit choppy for swimming but you can drive to Miami Beach which is also only 5 min!

The view from our room was beautiful, the room was large and airy, complete kitchen. Cleaning was every 3 days.

We had to ask for extra towels and wash cloths after every cleaning, though we asked at check in. Beach was super windy and not swimmable.

Mosquitos were prevalent at times and the unsightly derelict hotels overlooking the beach next door.

I loved the location. It was more remote but very nice breeze was awesome. I came armed with repellent from other reviews and I didn’t need any of it. I was terrified of not having AC and being eaten alive by mosquitoes but that did not get bitten. Beautiful view of the ocean from the courtyard apartment. Despite the reviews saying you need to rent a car there is a bus stop right near there so I would recommend that instead of renting a car. If you rent a car be aware you will be driving on the opposite side of the car and the opposite side of the road. The round about’s are insane and you will feel like you are taking your life in your hands (I assure you that you are) The place has been newly renovated and it is very spacious and comfortable. Very nice modern bathrooms and the beds are comfortable. The staff is great and very accommodating. Do make sure that you read your check in information because they need your flight number and arrange transportation from the airport which is really nice.

Only thing I can say is if it had AC it would be perfect.

The apartment says it has a dishwasher. It doesn't unless you look in the mirror. 😁

Acccomodation was of a very good standard and the staff extremely accommodating (lending us their mosquito spray, booking taxis).

Hadn't realised we'd be next to a derelict hotel that rather spoilt the local vibe. Also, there's limited places to eat out and sell-catering we found a it tricky as it's not like there's a Sainsbury's - just a poorly (by UK/European standards)stocked shop within walking distance.

A/C not included in the price. A very noisy barking dog at 6:30am each morning; I understand that the property has no control over this, however it wasn’t very relaxing being woken up so early. It was a little too remote for us.

We loved it here from the moment we arrived. Quiet location with other quiet guests, although everyone was friendly; listened to the sound of the ocean to go to sleep. We didn't need to use the A/C due to the lovely breeze. I loved the small number of units, and the feeling of peace and independence we had. The staff were always helpful if we needed anything.

Nothing is really walkable here, so you need to take the bus or rent a car. We'd love to stay again although without a car it would not be quite as easy.

The resort exceeded my expectations. Incredibly beautiful buildings and location.

We were provided with a kitchen and bathroom, but no basic necessities for these such as washing up liquid, salt/pepper, shampoo, soap for the shower. It seems a waste for every customer to have to repurchase these items when they arrive.

Unfortunately, the apartment was below expectations. The biggest disadvantages I will mention: no panes or mosquito nets on the windows and doors (you can't stand being attacked by mosquitoes all the time), the whole apartment is quite gloomy and outdated, there are no furnishings in the garden (despite the fact that they appear in the pictures in the offer on booking.com), you can only see the beach and the sea from the apartment while standing.

This property is in a very poor area which is fine. It’s off the beaten path. I got in late and someone picked me up which was great. The room has no AC and the windows are just open. This led to a huge problem with mosquitoes that was unavoidable. H the ey give you a mosquito net over the bed so they know it’s an issue and they give you some kind of material that is supposed to burn and distract the mosquitoes but it doesn’t work. I couldn’t sleep all night and had to check out the next day. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The girl was very nice and professional. Do not stay here unless you bring a bunch of anti mosquito stuff. Also they don’t provide soap …. I was expected to have my own soap which was the first time I’d ever experienced this. Very cheap mindset. You won’t find cool shopping in the area - other parts of Barbados are fun but this area is so run down - there is nothing fun there.
