La vue de la terrasse de mon logement était magnifique, le logement avait tout ce qu’il fallait pour mon séjour de six nuits, Theo a été de bons conseils et arrangeant

Le bruit des vieux climatiseurs des autres logements qui m’empêchaient de dormir vraiment la fenêtre ouverte

Pano Gitonia es un sitio ideal para descansar. Invita a desayunar tranquilamente y a quedarte todo el tiempo observando las vistas. Es genial no tener que salir de la terraza para ver el sunset. Theo fue muy correcto y accesible. Está todo muy limpio. Vale mucho la pena.

Dependes absolutamente del coche para moverte ya que se encuentra en la parte alta del pueblo (como su nombre indica). Hay una opción de bajar a pie al puerto aunque te dejas un poco la lengua con tantas escaleras. Pero nos dio igual porque teníamos coche.

Theo vino a recogernos al centro de la ciudad, súper servicial. Nos llevó al apartamento y nos ayudó con el equipaje. El check in fue súper rápido y nuestra habitación estaba perfecta al llegar. Su mujer cuida cada detalle y se nota tanto en la decoración como en la limpieza diaria del apartamento. Además, las vistas desde el alojamiento son de ensueño, nunca había estado en un lugar parecido. La paz y la calma del lugar es incomparable y es súper fácil de acceder. Nosotras alquilamos un coche y sin problema para aparcar, hay un parking junto al alojamiento

Εξαιρετική διαμονή Η διαμονή μας στην Pano Gitonia ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη! Ένας πανέμορφος, προσεγμένος και πεντακάθαρος χώρος, με υπέροχη θέα και όλα όσα χρειάζεσαι για να νιώσεις άνετα και χαλαρά. Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική και ιδανική για να απολαύσεις την Αμοργό. Αυτό όμως που ξεχωρίσαμε περισσότερο ήταν η φιλοξενία και η ευγένεια των ανθρώπων. Όλα ήταν προσεγμένα μέχρι την τελευταία λεπτομέρεια και νιώσαμε πραγματικά σαν στο σπίτι μας. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε! Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον θέλει μια όμορφη, ήρεμη και ποιοτική διαμονή στην Αμοργό.

Die Unterkunft ist atemberaubend gelegen mit einzigartigem Blick über die Bucht von Aigiali. Es ist alles da, was man für eine gute Ferienwohnung braucht und der Gastgeber Theo ist sehr welcoming und hilfsbereit. Die Fliegengitter sind auch extrem gut 👍

The location was incredible with amazing views. Very relaxing. The accommodation was very well equipped and most importantly the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Το μπάνιο ήταν σκοτεινό.

Bardzo klimatycznie. Mieszkaliśmy w największym dostępnym apartamencie z dwiema sypialniami odrębną kuchnią i łazienką oraz wielkim tarasem. Zachowane sa w nim wszystkie rodzinne pamiątki i wyposażenie. Jakbyśmy mieszkali w skansenie i powrócili do dawnych czasów. Niesamowite uczucie. Z sypialni która mieściła się tak jakby na antresoli widok na morze!! Spacerem do portu 15 minut.

To jest obiekt wyjątkowy! Perła! Widoki są niesamowite. Obsługa oraz goście cisi i bardzo dyskretni. Bo tu nie zakłóca się spokoju, dźwięków natury. Ty się jest, chłonie i patrzy. Mieszkać tu to przeżycie artystyczno - turystyczne. Raj dla duszy i zmysłów.

Le réseau WiFi. Ma 5G était tres correcte Pour un séjour hors saison avec températures fraîches un petit micro ondes serait appréciable

Un lieu avec un point de vue à couper le souffle ! On ne se lasse pas du sunset sur la terrasse avec des couleurs magnifiques. Petit studio très bien décoré avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour la cuisine. Personnel très agréable et qui n’hésite pas à vous proposer des services si besoin (linge par exemple). Raki offert à l’arrivée. Nous avons adoré le calme de cet endroit. Attention cependant, l’île est très vallonnée et vous devrez être véhiculé pour accéder à Aegiali depuis le port de Katapola (35 minutes) et ensuite pour vous déplacer depuis cet emplacement qui se situe sur les hauteurs à presque 2km du centre ville. Mais cela en vaut largement la peine et c’est très facile !

Amazing location to stay at Amorgos. Absolutely amazing view and very relaxing accommodation while still being close to very cute towns and beaches. The inside is very cute and feels like home. Definitely will recommend to anyone coming to Amorgos!

Excellent view with outstanding sunsets. The staff was tidying up our apartment every day. I strongly recommend this!

Everything was exceptional!

Dette stedet er noe av det vakreste og mest gjennomførte jeg har opplevd. Jeg har reist mye og trodde jeg hadde sett det meste. Men dette er og blir ubeskrivelig i forhold til å få gitt stedet og folkene der den tilbakemeldingen de fortjener. Solnedgangen helt spetakulær, blomstene og plantene rundt, fjellet, steinene. Alle sommerfugler, marihøner, fugler og siriser en fikk se der oppe i åsen. Rommet jeg hadde var stort og nyttig, eget soverom og hems til event. tredje person; samtidig som det gav en følelse av å være hjemme. Alt var så rent. Det må oppleves å bo der. Det som virkelig var ekstraordinært var muligheten for å fylle på flasker med filtrert vann, døgnet rundt, gratis. Vertsfamilien på tre som gjør en fantantastisk innsats i at du skal føle deg avslappa og vel, samtidig som de er opptatt av å resirkulere plast (og alt annet) og ta vare på både Amorgos og jorden vår. Jeg kommer garantert tilbake og vil da bo der mer enn fem døgn.

The apartment was a great stay for 12days. Having cooking facilities was fantastic. Especially for breakfast if you just wanted a coffee and boiled egg. It was out of town and high on a hill but having a car was brilliant. Also having washing facilities was great. We desperately needed to do a big load. The room was cleaned and tidied every day.

Beautiful place with a wonderful view at the sea and a very friendly owner.

The view of the bay from our terrace was breathtaking and we felt so lucky to wake up to that every morning and enjoy it while having breakfast. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. We particularly like the shower with hot water all the time . The place was very quiet, ideal for relaxing. We had a car to explore the island, still unspoilt and charming and the beaches in October were deserted and the sea warm and so clear .Theo is a very good host and his wife makes beautiful painted stones . We already dream of going back to this greek paradise! We knew it would be great but we didn't know it would be so wonderful!

The location was truly exceptional. Our studio was very artistically furnished and was a converted bakery. It had an amazing terrace with sensational views. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen well equipped (salt, oil etc..) we we able to cook a decent meal in it. The bathroom was fantastic. Probably the best place we’ve stayed in during our trip of the Greek islands. Theo kindly picked us up and took us back to the ferry. And the cats are well cared for, friendly and well behaved.

The walk from the village (also gorgeous) was not for the faint hearted and the beautiful stone walkways around the property were uneven because they were so authentic. This didn’t bother us but is good to know.

The location was stunning, with unforgettable sunsets viewed from the terrace. The room was filled with exceptional details, showcasing both the architecture and amenities. The host, Theo, who designed this masterpiece, must be a direct descendant of Zeus.

One of the best locations of the island with majestic views

Very unique property with every unit having an exceptional view of the bay. We stayed in Apartment 2. Well laid out, and maybe has the biggest private terrace of the bunch. Nicely decorated and immaculately cared for by the owners. I would be happy to spend the whole day on the terrace looking at the view. If I’m ever back in Amorgos I will stay here without hesitation.

The property is a steep 15 min walk from the town, but I’d recommend renting a car anyway to see Amorgos. Plus the distance from the downtown is what allows for the amazing views you can’t get from lower elevations.

Beautiful place with an amazing view ! The apartment was very nice, authentic which we loved. Theo is very nice, available and helpful. The apartment is big enough to have 5 people sleeping so more than enough for 2 persons ! Everything was really lovely ! The location was also great (5mn car ride to Aegiali, a hiking trail that passes along the house, a restaurant nearby...). Just for people with less ability or not fond of stairs, know that there are stairs to get to the apartment and also to go to bed.

Nothing. Only some small details that could make the experience even more lovely : possibility to use the washing machine that was in the bathroom, a bit more equipments in the kitchen... But otherwise everything was lovely !

Beautiful scenary and spotless clean rooms. Really nice hosts and very eco friendly way of running the hotel.

Amazing location and accommodation on an incredible island.

it is so beautiful and so thoughtful in every way, such as the sustainable water refill (I didn’t have to buy plastic bottles at all on my whole stay), & the Raki liqueur in the room. the design is beautiful, the view magnificent, and the town and surrounding area is fantastic.

The accommodations have been thoughtfully repurposed to a very high standard from an ancient family farm complex and each is wonderfully unique. The spaces have been well configured to maximize space and utility. Modern conveniences are included (such as AC/Heat units, modern bathrooms and multiple electrical outlets that have been thoughtfully placed) that don't detract from the overall charm of the property. Situated on a hillside on the south side of Aegaili Bay and literally a 4-minute drive to town, the views are simply breathtaking and best of all, it is blissfully quiet. Sustainability isn't just a slogan here, The owners are committed to limiting water usage and recycling as well as reducing the amount of plastic that enters the waste stream. Guests can refill their plastic and glass bottles at a station at reception that provides filtered water. Best of all, the owners and their teenage daughter are extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. They never get in your way but seem to always be available when you need them. If you are looking for an authentic Greek style accommodation in an extremely beautiful and relaxing setting that is conveniently located, I cannot recommend this property enough.

I can't think of anything really. There is a donkey that lives up the hillside that can get a bit noisy occasionally, but that's pretty much it. There are steps throughout the property and the authentic stone floors aren't perfectly flat in some places so if you are mobility restricted you should keep this in mind.

Firstly - about Pano Gitonia. The owner Theo has made a great effort to give his apartments a traditional Greek feel and he has more than succeeded. We stayed in the "Almond Tree" apartment and it was lovely. So many homely touches but also very functional. The kitchen had lots of appliances including a toaster and the shower worked really well with lots of hot water. Theo was available to assist with any questions we had and, understandably, recommended his family restaurant at the port. We found it a great place to eat with very reasonable prices and many tasty dishes. Secondly - the location. Pano Gitonia has a spectacular view of the port and the surrounding islands. There are plenty of chairs and tables to enable Theo's guests to enjoy the vista. Fantastic. Finally - we did not hire a car but most probably people visiting Pano Gitano will. Theo picked us up from the port on arrival and dropped us back when we left so that was great but the rest of the time we walked to and from the port. The walk is 45 minutes on the road and 25 minutes using the footpath and steps which are quite steep (but not dangerous).

We visited in late April and it is a shame that the bus service does not start until mid May. We did use the school bus to visit the Chora (and walked to the magnificent monastery) but you need to be at the right place at the right time if you are to do this because the school bus only stops at certain.places.

Exceptional location, friendly owner and well thought out accommodation. Traditional and very clean.
