Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Location, quality to the facilities, modern and new, well maintained, good attention to detail, good customer service, the laundry service which is included in the cost, the common areas are very well maintained and decorated, all the extras in the apartment, good location to many restaurants and supermarkets. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
No parking. Needs better ventilation in bathrooms and kitchen area as there are no windows.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026This was so well located. Near a bus stop, in the middle of town and walkable to the train station. The free travel pass meant we ended up heading into Salzburg easily by bus or train. We wanted to stay in Salzburg but felt everywhere was too expensive but this place gave us more space and made it easy to travel in. The added benefit of washing facilities were much needed midway through a holiday.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Smaakvol ingericht en met liefde voor detail gerenoveerd. Ruimte appartement en indeling. Ontbijten in de koffiewinkel in t pand is mogelijk. Uiteten in Hallein bij Gasthaus Hager: lekkere Backhendl of Wurstsalat. Ook goed bij Viet-Wok lekker authentiek met goede prijs-kwaliteit.
De separate kookplaatoplossing is onhandig en onnodig onveilig. Centrale parkeerplek is stukje wandelen.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026الفندق قديم عمره 600 سنة وتم تجديده بالكامل، اخذنا غرفة رباعية وكانت واسعة جدًا وبها تكييف، يوجد مغسلة وثلاجة في الدور الثاني تخدم جميع النزلاء، يوجد مصاعد، ومواقف قريبة من الفندق اليوم بـ 10 يورو.
يعيب الفندق عدم وجود تهوية في الحمام بسبب انه قديم ويبون يحافظون عليه على كلامهم، الرطوبة والروائح تبقى في الحمام ومكتوم جدًا يعني اذا انتوا مجموعة اشوفه غير مناسب وبالنسبة لي تجربة لن تتكرر.

صعوبة الوصول للفندق ومافي باركينق توقف بعيد وتجلس تسحب بالشنط اللين توصل ومنطقه تاريخيه نوعاً ما فيها سنتر بسيط الاسره غير مريحه ابداً مافي خدمة تنظيف الغرف ومافيها ثلاجه والكوايه والغسيل بدور الثاني ومشتركه مع جميع النزلا فندق بسيط المفروض سعره اقل من كذا كمان

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026The apartment was beautiful and clean with all the necessary facilities (air conditioner in every room!). The location was very nice for us, as we wanted to visit the salt mine in Hallein, but keep in mind it took us 20-30 minutes by car to the old city of Salzburg.
The hotel felt like it is designed with 0 interaction between the guests and hotel staff. The guy in the front desk didn't seem to like the question I asked about where is the best place to park for 10 minutes and unload the car before parking it in the parking lot. He said everything is written in the WhatsApp links, but the links aren't very user friendly. Since we arrived 2 hours before check-in and the apartment was already ready, he offered early check-in for 20€ which is ridiculous. I never heard about it before. In places I stayed before they just happily let you in if the room is ready. He didn't offer any refund of 20€ when we left 4 hours before checkout though..

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026The perfect place to relax after hiking in the Dolomites! We originally booked two nights, but as soon as we arrived, we decided to extend our stay for one more night. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The free washing machine and refrigerator were especially useful during our trip. The village is beautiful and peaceful, and there's an excellent restaurant just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again!

The concept of the check in/ check out, is not for everyone. Having a reception is definitively for me a better option when some problem arouses. Breakfast is good quality, but every day the same and not cheap.

Only 2 minor things: bathroom furniture doesn’t seem to be completely water-resistant - still OK, but doesn’t look nice. Parking is available within 5 minutes walking distance, for 8€ per day or for free if parking between 20:00 and 6:00- this should be mentioned in the description

Wenn man suchen müsste würde ich sagen, dass irgendwo im Zimmer ein Schrank nicht schlecht wäre aber das rechtfertigt meiner Meinung nach keinen Abzug. Es ist wirklich sehr ruhig, fortschrittlich, einfach und schön.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich mir mehr erwartet habe. Die Lage ist gut, die Zimmer sind okay, aber es gibt da viel Potenzial nach oben. Man wird in der Woche der Anreise täglich mit E-Mails bombardiert, die wesentlichen Infos (Check in) fehlen aber bis zum Schluss. Am Vortag der Anreise kommt ein Mail, dass man am Tag der Anreise Infos zum Check in per Mail ??? bekommt. Man kann nicht davon ausgehen, dass alle Gäste Emails per Handy abrufen können und da ich davon ausgehe, dass es auch Gäste aus dem Ausland gibt die eine Anreise vor sich haben ist das einfach schwach. Am Tag der Anreise wird dann noch eins drauf gesetzt. Die Check in Daten kommen 15 Minuten !!!!!???? vor dem Check in. Ich komme aus Linz, musste 2 Stunden später wegfahren, weil ich eben von meinem Firmen-Mail gebucht habe und darauf keinen Zugang mit dem Handy habe. Vor Ort hat der Check in dann geklappt. Die Zimmer sind eher spartanisch. Es gibt keinen Kleiderschrank, warum??? Die Klimaanlage war defekt,.... das war nicht wirklich "cool". Die Zimmer wurden 3 Tage lang nicht gemacht,... ein fragwürdiges Konzept. Ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre bei diesem Zimmerpreis auch ganz nett. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber, die Betten okay und wir haben gut geschlafen.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026The room was very spacious & very clean for our family of 3. We loved the location & amenities. It was great to have access to a washing machine with washing powder provided. We enjoyed the Saturday morning market. Our room had a kettle but no kitchenette, crockery was available though in the amenities room as well as a communal fridge. Highly recommend this hotel.
Parking is not available on site. But an affordable parking garage is nearby.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2025The Salt was conveniently located via train or bus just outside of Salzburg. It was in a very quiet and quaint little town that had plenty of food and shopping options. The room was very clean and spacious.
As like other properties in this day, there was a lack of staff. We were met upon checkin by someone but saw no other staff the four days we stayed there. We communicated electronically, which worked but there were delays in responses.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025Beautiful location and warm style, parking hall very close (10e/night) and small local bakery (cheap).
Room was very hot and AC machine didn't got any cool air out, only more hot. We kept window open even though there was minus degrees outside. Restaurant downstairs was nothing special but prices (expensive). We arrived after seven pm and only place open was selfservice ekiosk.

Man hat als Gast keinerlei Kontakt zu Personal. Das lässt das Haus gespenstisch wirken. Es wird dadurch seelenlos.
