Clean rooms
Facing the hills and sea view
The owner is the sweetest lady ever! I arrived 2 hours later than the checking time because of late bus arrivals but she waited for us with no complaints. Our room was bigger than I thought and it was very clean. We had a private bathroom and the pressure and the drain were really good. We left for the day and came back to fresh new towels which we didn't expect but it was very appreciated. My favourite part was the heated blankets under the sheets, very nice touch! The property is beautiful and we were able to walk around and explore. The sauna was also such a nice experience, your reserve your slot with the owner for 30min between 5pm-7pm but she lets you stay longer if there's no one booked after you. The kitchen is also pretty big and she also made pancake mix so we were able to make ourselves pancakes free of charge! The owner is also so helpful, she knew the TFI schedule and the best routes to take to get to our destinations. And the bus stop was a 5min walk.
If you're planning to mostly visit Dingle, it's quite far. A good 20-30 minutes by TFI (local bus) and it only passes a few times a day. So if you miss it, you'll have to wait a few hours for the next one or pay 30-50 (Canadian dollar) taxi/uber ride). But the bus ticket is very affordable, around 4 Canadian dollars.
The welcome , lovely room and friendly hostess
Nothing
Lovely stay at Granville house, very relaxing atmosphere there and cosy accommodation. Comfortable lounge and bedroom. Happy out with the say.
The property and rooms are absolutely charming and the host exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
The lady manger was the best! Very friendly and helpful. Our Room 1 was advertised with a washing machine and there was no washing machine. So she offered to do our 4 days of washing. Absolutely wonderful. The room itself was spacious enough. The bed was a bit on the firm side as were the pillows. The shower was a like standing under a super light rain shower, but it still did the job. The heater heated the room nicely. Great coffee machine. For our 3 nights it was still a good stay
Not having a washing machine as the room was advertised with one. The bed was too firm. The shower was light
Excellent host and went beyond and prepared a lunch to go for my Dingle Walk .
Clean, uodated and functional
Lovely warm welcome by Breege, Apartment was very spacious and clean with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. Gorgeous location and very close to beach and pub and only short drive into Dingle. Would definitely come back.
It felt like living in a castle. Quick assistance. Amazing location.
Nothing
Beautiful, spacious accommodation surrounded by magnificent gardens with views all around
Beautiful location and very nice decor in the apartment.
Building was very cold, even on a warm summers day. None of the heaters could be switched on, I suspect they are isolated by the staff to save money. The grounds of the property are messy and overgrown. The towels provided were damp to touch and the towel dryers also could not be turned on.
Grand appartement, bon emplacement, charmant
Pas de petit déjeuner
Charming apartment!! We enjoyed this charming guesthouse, very confortable and especially our host Bridge who was so likeable and always ready to help. The kind attention in the fridge, eggs, butter and milk were very appreciated, and also a pot of coffee. Thanks again to Bridge.. In this part of Ireland, don't miss the marvellous walk starting in Brandon, (3 hours) after the famous Connor pass.
A great looking villa consisting of a ton of different rooms and apartments. The location overlooking the valley was very nice and the interior decoration was very charming and romantic. 9 out of 10!
For us it lacked several modern comforts which really dampened the experience we were looking forward to so much. There is no dishwasher, the WiFi didn’t work at all, no TV, not enough chairs, cups, dishes etc for the three of us and so on. BUT the most important issues was the lack of mechanical ventilation in any of the rooms. Not in the bathroom(located in the center of the house with doors to the kitchen and bedroom which you cannot lock), kitchen and so on. Which not only means it can get quite smelly but there was a very bad MOLD smell everywhere!! We kept open all windows and doors 24/7 even though it got quite chilly. Even with this it could be hard to comfortably breathe at times. 4 out of 10! Great looking location but because of these health issues we unfortunately can’t recommend it. We stayed at the Paradise at the Sea(?) apartment, part of the old original villa. Other rooms and apartments might not have the same mold issue though!!
Very friendly. Beautiful apartment, clean and with all the facilities we wanted.
interior, unique Irish style
Relaxed atmosphere
A couple of active bees & wasps were a bit close for comfort
Most amazing views. Quiet and peaceful. Great sunsets. Host was friendly and helpful. Close to the local pubs. Beautiful courtyard.
The only negative in my option is the windows in the apartment. 2 things: there’s no screens so we did get a lot of insect bites and also the ones in the bedroom didn’t lock, and left me feeling a bit uneasy about leaving/nighttime.
It is a wonderful place, a sanctuary
Nothing
The setting and convenience to the school were 2nd to none.
There was a mouldy smell in the room and no clothes storage
Breege the hostess was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Nice room, good shared kitchen, and a pleasant place to spend time after a busy day exploring. Sauna a nice touch too.
We stayed in the Sea View Apartment. Well appointed, very comfortable.
WiFi slow/weak but the view and the property itself made up for it.
NO ME GUSTO NADA
LAS FOTOS NO COINCIDEN CON LA REALIDAD, ESTÁ EN MUY MAL ESTAOD D EMANTENIMIENTO Y OLIENDO A HUMEDAD, Y VIEJO, NO SE PUEDE RESPIRAR. MUCHAS COSAS ROTAS
Very cutely decorated. Owner was amazing and kind. Plenty of space for a family to relax.
Far from city center. Front door didn’t lock. No fans and it was hot out.
Granville House is a grand old beauty. our apartment, some what more modern, exceeded our expectations. The gardens and surrounding out buildings and the entire house was like stepping back in time.. Our host Bridgette, was the most lovely lady. If I return to Ireland I will visit Dingle just to say hello to Bridgette and stay in her amazing home.
This property was lovely. The room was modern and had many features. Being from another country it was hard to figure out the heat, the switches for things but we called for help and they came quickly.
We didn’t know how far it was from dingle. We wanted to be in the middle of town to walk to pubs and such. The town where the house was did have a few lovely pubs and they were great.
The proximity and views of the sea were a pleasure :) the entire Dongle Peninsula is a stunner! The cottage is such an intimate cozy spot and the hostess couldn’t have been more kind and charming !! The drive to dingle town is only about 15 minutes … this house sits on the Slea Head scenic route :)
Lovely place to stay. Beautiful seaviews and very tranquil. The sauna was lovely and the rooms were really nice. A really unique place in a lovely location with a very welcoming and considerate host! We will definitely come back.
Host very pleasant, let us check in early
No way to block light coming in skylight so room very bright early in the morning
The location and Bridget, the owner was amazing. The facility was right by the golf course. It was quiet and had a beautiful setting. Really glad we choose this place.
We stayed in the 2-bedroom cottage and loved it. The unit is beautiful and well appointed!
The host was as sweet as can be. She was also VERY helpful. Whether it was ideas for things to do or helping out with questions about our room.

We checked in easily and soon sat with a drink and those amazing views.

Beautiful location. The house felt like home with wonderful touches from the host, Brigee. We had the sea view apartment and it was ideal for our family of four.
Nothing, we will recommend for sure
A warm welcome from the owner and a fire glowing in the hearth set the tone for a truly special stay. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to cook our own meal, and the space felt like home—just far enough from town to enjoy a peaceful getaway after a day of exploring.
Beautiful apartment in excellent location. Gorgeous decor and wonderful views
Lovely design and comfortable accommodation with incredible views
The location is excellent and the views were spectacular. Breege, my host was fabulous to deal with, funny and every easy going. I stayed in one of the Yurts. This was at the back of the house and very private. All I could hear was the rain and the wind. The yurts are tastefully decorated and they have a very bohemian vibe. Bathrooms and shared kitchen were spotless. No complaints at all. I will be back soon I hope.
There is nothing I didn't like
Beautiful building
Location! Location! Location! Breege found us a room because I had unknowingly booked a yert on her property. She was full up but squeezed us in. It was very comfortable and in a beautiful part of the Dingle Peninsula.
Great location, fabulous apartment with everything you need in it. Very comfortable beds. Stunning views.
No issues whatsoever
Beautiful house, property and view.
Spacious room and comfortable bed right on Slea Head Drive. Short walk into town or a short drive to surrounding towns.
We were treated very kindly. The host helped us with our washing. And gave us wonderful local knowledge for walks in the area.
Superb location with stunning views. The accommodation was excellent and was thoughtfully laid out. The star of the show was undoubtedly the couch, which was ideal for relaxing after an active day exploring the area. It was a relief to leave the TV behind, and in any event, there were lots of interesting books scattered throughout the apartment. Breege is a superb host. She ensured that our stay was comfortable, and we enjoyed chatting with her over the few days.
Nothing springs to mind.
Just awful. Do not book the truck bedroom. No working lock on the door unless you consider an outside slide lock to be sufficient security! You can’t go to a pub or restaurant and leave your valuables in there! The mattress is tiny and not big enough for two adults. Filthy is an understatement. The owner to me is on a massive grift with this. So bad we cut out two night stay short and left after night one. We were given the option to switch on night one to a cabin, which was all she had available to offer us, which we accepted. Although we were told by the owner “I’m not cleaning it for you”. The facility had been used by another family and apparently they had left early (another unhappy customer???) and it had not been cleaned. We agreed to switch as there was no way we were going to be able to fit us both in the truck bedroom and get a decent nights kip! We slept in the cabin where the bedding had not been changed or the bathroom cleaned thinking she’s fine us a favour by at least making amends for the unbelievably appalling accommodation we’d actually booked, but no! We were then charged a full price for staying in there!!!! We were only told that this charge had been added after we spoke with booking.com! She gave us a 50% discount off the second night but made sure she clawed the money back by telling booking.com to charge us for the cabin which was €160. I don’t usually leave bad reviews because I am aware that it’s a business and somebody’s livelihood but on this instance I’ll make an exception! How can I not when we had such a shoddy, disgusting and misrepresented experience? I’ve used Booking.com for years and this accommodation is an absolute grift off the poor tourists that flock through it. It should be banned from the site. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
It was dirty, mis-advertised and the owner is on to a massive grift with this excuse of a room.
Great views from the front of the house and nice location out of Dingle.
No facilities in room - wardrobe or anywhere to put clothes
Wonderful place to stay, not far from Dingle, the apartment we rented was beautiful, spacious, had gorgeous views, the kitchen was fully stocked, we truly enjoyed making breakfast there. The host is wonderful and made sure we were comfortable and gave us great recommendations about the area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Granville! Thank you for having us!
Host was very welcoming and gave us helpful info about the area. Apartment layout was fantastic and the view and location were exceptional. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet.
Lovely old house, pretty self catering Flats, great location
The showers were (as often în Ireland) too weak
De eigenaresse is hartelijk in haar ontvangst.
Wij sliepen in de kleine camper. Daar passen alleen kabouters in.
