La Villa des Remparts vs Similar Hotels

Rooms are often described as characterful, comfortable and some recently renovated, but several guests reported small bathrooms, lack of in-room fridges, and outdated TVs, reducing the score.

Multiple reviews mention clean and renovated rooms (notably in the annexe) and generally tidy accommodations, indicating a strong cleanliness performance.

Consistently described as centrally located and within walking distance of sights (basilica, centre); parking/garage availability also noted positively.

Numerous comments cite very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff; reception and personnel praised across languages, supporting a high service score.

Restaurant repeatedly praised as characteristic with good dishes and fair prices; breakfast is plentiful though sometimes not promptly refilled or described as simple by a few guests.

Repeated complaints about lack of air conditioning (many rooms only have a fan), small/no minibar/fridge, noisy ventilation systems and limited modern conveniences lower this rating.

Mixed feedback: some guests praise the restaurant prices and good breakfast making it good value, while a number felt the room quality/size did not fully justify the price.
