La Trouvaille

Die Unterkunft hat uns wirklich gut gefallen. Die Villa was sehr sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Geschirrspüler usw. Das Personal was ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, sodass man dort wirklich seine Ruhe hat. Die Anreise mit dem Auto hat auch gut geklappt und ein Parkplatz war vorhanden. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und unkompliziert.

Das Einzige war, dass man keinen Besuch mitbringen durfte. Allerdings kann man mit der Vermieterin darüber sprechen, da sie in Einzelfällen auch Ausnahmen macht. Die Unterkunft ist am besten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ansonsten gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen. :)

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Wohlfühlen ☺️ Wir hätten uns wirklich keinen schöneren Ort für unsere 5 Nächte wünschen können. Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Unser Chalet war wunderschön, großzügig, sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Besonders begeistert hat uns der unverbautene Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben jeden Tag auf unserem Balkon mit dieser traumhaften Aussicht gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Für uns war das jedes Mal ein kleines Highlight. Auch die vielen Vögel und Flughunde, die wir während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts vom Balkon aus beobachten konnten, haben den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Besonders liebevoll fanden wir den Willkommensgruß mit leckerem Obst aus eigenem Anbau sowie Brot und Aufstrich für das erste Frühstück. Die tägliche Reinigung war ebenfalls sehr angenehm und alles war immer sauber und ordentlich. Marion und James sind unglaublich nette, offene und herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit unkompliziert und bei Fragen oder Wünschen haben sie uns gerne weitergeholfen. Auch der Mitarbeiter der Unterkunft war stets sehr freundlich, höflich und aufmerksam. Die Lage fanden wir ebenfalls perfekt: Zu Fuß kann man problemlos in den Ort gehen, was wir als völlig unkompliziert empfunden haben. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell überall und die Unterkunft ist außerdem ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Alles in allem haben wir uns hier vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag rundum wohlgefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir können und werden die Unterkunft wirklich von Herzen empfehlen!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im La Trouvaille in der Villa zum Urlaub. Alles war wieder perfekt wie beim vorherigen Aufenthalt.

Peatusime nii lõunas kui põhjas ja meile meeldis siinne privaatsus ja ümbruskond rohkem! Meeldivalt privaatne asukoht keset loodust. Kenasti hooldatud ja apartmendi puhtus vastab ka kõrgematele ootustele!! See oli väga ootamatu ja positiivne üllatus! Pererahvas on siin väga abivalmis. Tuleksime siia tagasi iga kell!!

Das Haus, die Aussicht, die Ruhe, die Freundlichkeit von Marion und Jean. Wir haben frische Papaya, Bananen, Kokosnuss und sogar das nötigste fürs erste Frühstück. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Немецкое идеальное качество, все продумано, хозяйка немка. Чистота, порядок, ничего лишнего, но все есть. Есть продукты в холодильнике на первый завтрак Замечательная терраса, на которой любили сидеть и смотреть на закат. Вилла находится на высоте птичьего полета, утром просыпались от пения птиц, а вечером наблюдали за полетами лис, вид шикарный.

The chalet is very confortable, clean and with a superb view on the bay. The owner is very helpful and provided all the necessary info. Cleaning service everyday.

Эти отдельно стоящие на холме виллы выглядят и ощущаются, когда живешь там, ну очень люксово 😎 Шикарные виды, территория двора, качество ремонта, мебели, интерьерные детали - все на очень высоком уровне 👏 Особенно радует такая доступная цена за проживание. Очень понравилась хозяйка апартаментов, по национальности немка, возможно и по этому так на виллах все идеально устроено.

Месторасположение не вполне удобное, очень крутой подъем и дорога при заезде. До хороших пляжей нужно ехать, пешком точно не вариант (хотя некоторые писали в отзывах, что ходили, но мы с трудом представляем как это можно было делать 🙈😅). Еще в воскресенье нет уборки, что в целом норм, но очень бы хотелось хотя бы вынос мусора организовать, потому что за 2 дня в такой жаре запахи сами представляете не самые комфортные образуются.

We could not picture a nicer apartment for our first stay in the Seychelles than this. The view from the balcony were we had breakfast every morning was surreal and just breathtaking. Our host Marion was really friendly and helpful and could be contacted easily via WhatsApp.

It would be nice to have some toiletries like shower gel.

Die Aussicht ist schön. Das Appartment ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es gibt schnelles Internet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig.

Sehr kühle Begrüßung. Es wurde eine Liste mit Dingen aufgezählt, die nicht erlaubt sind. Der Wunsch, keinen Roomservice zu bekommen, wurde nicht berücksichtigt.

Das Haus ist modern ausgestattet, in der Küche fehlt einiges

Die Villa hat 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer, laut Beschreibung 135m2. Vor Ort hat sich herausgestellt, das ein Schlafzimmer inkl. Bad abgeschlossen war. Somit konnten wir nur ca. 70m2 nutzen. Dies haben wir bei den Vermieter bemängelt, aber keine Forderungen gestellt. Daraufhin wurde uns gedroht, verbal und körperlich. Aus unserer Sicht ist das ein klarer Betrug. Noch zur Info: In der Nähe ist eine Bauschutt Entsorgungsstelle. Im Haus kostet 1 Spülmaschinentab 1€, Strandtuch 5€( bis zur Wäsche) danach erneut 5€. Bitte unbedingt etwas mitnehmen! Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist und können das Haus nicht weiterempfehlen.

I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like home. The house is cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. I really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten die tolle große Villa als Familie, sehr geräumig, mit sehr schönen großen Bädern und guten Duschen. Angenehm war auch hier, dass Eltern und Kinder ihren abgetrennten Bereich hatten - jeder hatte ein Schlafzimmer mit großem Bad. Gut funktionierende Klimaanlage und Ventilatoren. Großes Plus auch die Waschmaschine.Toller Blick bis zum Meer. Frühstücken auf dem Balkon mit Weitblick….netter Empfang von Marion und Jean.

Zwei weitere Liege-/ Schaukelstühle wären toll, damit alle gleichzeitig entspannen können.

Tolle und sehr schöne Villa in perfekter Lage. Alles top sauber und eine super schöne Anlage mit drei weiteren kleineren Chalets. Wir durften sogar schon morgens um 9h die Villa beziehen und bekamen als Begrüßung ein Obstkorb mit vielen Früchten geschenkt, sowie Zutaten für ein Frühstück fur den ersten Tag.

Wichtig!!!! Bei Buchung der Villa für 2 Personen bleiben das zweite Bad mit WC und das zweite Schlafzimmer leider abgeschlossen. Das war leider in der Beschreibung nicht vermerkt und wir hatten überhaupt nicht damit gerechnet. Zumindest ein zweites Bad/WC bei einer so tollen Villa sollte auf alle Fälle immer verfügbar sein.

Wir hatten ein super Aufenthalt. Marion, Jean und ihr Team waren super freundlich und kümmern sich toll um ihre Gäste. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, ordentlich und ist modern mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Kaffeepause und Teekanne erhielten wir auf Anfrage. Der Ausblick über die gesamte Bucht von Anse La Mouche…ein Traum. 😍

Die Unterkunft ist am besten mit einem Auto erreichbar. Man kann zwar auch über Les Canelles Rd zu Fuß zum Ort laufen, es gibt allerdings keinen Bürgersteig am Straßenrand. Die Matratzen bzw. das Bett war für uns recht hart. Ansonsten gab es nichts an Kritik.

Отличное расположение, если у вас есть автомобиль. Прекрасные хозяева, которые дали много очень полезных советов по островам (Большой привет, Джон!). Уборка каждый день, кроме воскресенья (о чем заранее предупредили).

A perfect property to stay in Mahé, we loved everything about it - cleanliness, order, location and communication with the host. Great kitchen amenities, shower, a lot of storage space. 10/10 recommend to everybody.

Perfect stay! Very clean and beautiful apartments

The owner greated us with some cold water and fresh tropical fruit and explained everything we wanted to know. Daily cleaning service, equipped with all necessities: in the kitchen there are enough pots, pans, knives, scissors, salt, pepper, coffee, tea and in the toilet there is hand soap and three sizes of towels for each. It is a very beautiful and peaceful environment. From the terrace you can see the papaya tree, coconut palms, bananas... The whole apartment was squeaky clean and everything was just perfect, even more beautiful than the photos. Beach towels, dishwasher & laundry detergent you can bring your own or rent/purchase from reception for a symbolic fee. The owner offered an earlier check-in as well! We definitely recommend this apartment but we don't want to say any more positive sides so it's not booked next time we go because we are definitely coming back to La Trouvaille!

Stunning view!!! The room/flat has a very high standard.

We had a great time staying at La Trauvaille. The chalet offered a breathtaking view over Anse La Mouche, especially during sunset. The kitchen was fully equipped, and although we only used it for breakfast, it had everything we needed to cook any meal. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We also loved the cozy balcony, which was ideal for enjoying our breakfast with a view, or for playing some card games in the evening. The owners were friendly and helpful, offering great advice on local spots and activities. They even allowed us to check in outside their regular hours, which we truly appreciated. Should we be lucky enough to go back to Seychelles, we would surely stay at La Trauvaille again!

the friendly welcome and overall demeanour of the staff. The location was nice and quiet ideal for a relaxing holiday. The view from the chalet balcony was great and just got better as the sun set.

There was nothing to dislike it was all good.

This villa was modern, comfortable, secure and so easy to be in. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. The gardens surrounding the villa are immaculately kept. The view from the balcony was stunning - to see the colours of the sea change as the tide turned each day and the sunsets was amazing. Jean, the owner, was so helpful and spent time with us telling us which places and which beaches were the best to go to. This was appreciated very much. Anse a la Moche, where the villa is located is beautiful and there are restaurants and a place for hiring water sports equipment there too.

We really didn’t want to leave this villa as it is a perfect place to relax and would not hesitate to book another holiday here or recommend it.

It was a perfect stay in Mahe. Beautiful view, really really clean house. We stayed in the villa. It was just amazing! The staff was really helpful, we got guidance from the owner about the best beaches. We loved to stay here!!! If we are lucky enough to go back to Seychelles, we will choose this place again.

The apartment is new, well furnished, modern and with stunning view over the ocean. The bed is very very comfortable. Everything was perfect!

There’s air condition only in the bedroom and in the late afternoon or evening if you stay home is not enough to cool the house. But probably it is only in the hottest months.

Very well located with a beautiful view. Good it wasn't too close to a busy road but still 10-15min from the beach. Nearby shops are good enough for daily grocery.

Everything at La Trouvaille is as shown on booking. Or should I say even better. Everything is new, clean and very well kept. You have all you need for a self-catering stay. Due to the location of the chalets a car is recommended. Every member of the team is exceptional and they are always available for everything that's needed. We recommend this amazing place to everyone that visits Mahé.

Extremely beautiful home with a view on western coast. A lot of greenery and flowers around the property and whole view was just green. For us location was very nice, since we didn't want to stay close to Victoria. Beautiful beaches in reach of 10-15 min drive. Place worth it's price. I've seen some comments about the owners, and yes, they had their rules, but they were very transparent. Not everyone can enjoy it, but they just want to take care of their place the best they can. Small fee was blocked in case of damaging but just after checkout we got the money back. I loved the place and definitely will recommend to anyone!

Lovely modern and clean bungalows with amazing views. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the owner Jean went out of his way to give us recommendations, explain some of the plants in the beautiful garden, give us some historical facts about the islands and he even cut / prepared a fresh coconut for us. Upon arrival we found a fresh fruit basket as well as some things for breakfast in the fridge. We had a wonderful stay at La Trouvaille and can recommend it 100%.

We love everything about the property. Marion is really helpful of giving us the right direction before we come. The chalet is so brand new and all equipment are top notch. And 1 thing, is the most super clean property so far in our Seychelles trip. Would definitely come back. Ah also their internet is the best 😅 compare to the rest.

La Trouvaille was simply fabulous, I can't gush about the place enough. A real shame that I only stayed for three nights. These are newly-built so everything works and everything is immaculate. On an island where accommodation is very pricey (or downright extreme) La Trouvaille represents crazy-high value, a private hillside villa with your own driveway, and then add to that an insanely beautiful view from the large terrace. The decor is real nice, feels like home and everything is modern and well-stocked. The owners are very nice people, they even left a few breakfast things in the fridge and some fruit for arrival. There was a big papaya from their garden...I didn't know papayas could taste that good. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Seychelles I'll definitely stay here again.

All was above and beyond

PERFECT place ever. This is the first time when the house is exceed my expectations. Sunset view from the balcony, amazing hosts. It was nice to talk with them, they share some fruits from their garden. Quite Morden equipment and design of the chalet, big garden where you can have barbecue. I highly recommend this place. Next time will stay here for 100%.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Trouvaille. The accommodation is very fresh and the view is amazing. The houses get cleaned every day and we really appreciated the fruit we received. The was even breakfast for our first day in the fridge. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend!

The chalet was beautiful, perfectly equipped and clean. The staff was super nice and helpful as well as the owners. They even gifted us some fruits, taught us how to utilize a whole coconut and provided some ingredients for the first breakfast. Beautiful view from the terrace ad garden

Nice, modern, very clean accommodation with a beautiful view. On the day we arrived, we found water, butter, bread, and other small things in the fridge. We also got a bowl full of fruit - papaya, bananas, lime and it all was delicious!

Dealing with Marion. There seemed to be a problem with everything, no flexibility and she is running the place like a strict bank manager instead of a relaxed and kind hotel owner. Example: We needed to print a few pages which she wanted to charge us 1 euro per page as she claimed that printing was extremely expensive. The other staff (very nice girls) suggested that we drive to a post office to do the printing as it was cheaper. On the way there we needed to ask for directions as we seemed not to be able to find it. The first man we asked, a total stranger, printed the documents for us for free and helped us enormously. You also need to pay for the dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent, they cost around 1.5 euro each. Also what's up with the euros - we needed to pay everything in euros in cash and this is not the island's currency..

The house was brand new, great location in the center of the island, close to the beach, shops... Beautiful landscaped garden, quality cleaning every day, very kind and friendly owners who were willing to help at any time..

This place exceeded our expectations, was spotless. Owners were amazing, kindhearted and very helpful. Villa was equipped with everything you may need, extremely clean, rooms were supremely comfortable and terrace had an amazing view. We really loved the character of the place, a lot of greenery, fruits, plants that the owners shared with us :-) Thank you so much for the special welcome and royal treatment during our visit. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Seychelles :-)

Thank you Marion for all the useful information provided upon our arrival, thank you Jean for the pleasure to look at a nicely maintained garden every morning :) and last but not least thank you young lady for terrific sense for order :) We highly recommend to rent a car. Accomodation is behind a gate, completely safe place. Rooms fully equiped, fringe, A/C, wash machine, ceiling ventilators, comfy bed etc. Nice view from the balcony.

Everything exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay in the chalet. It was quiet and the views were stunning.Moreover, the quitchen was full equipped with everything we needed. Mrs. Marion helped us with a little problem during the stay, she was really attentive and gave us good tips.

It is advisable to rent a car, I think that is something everybody should do while visiting Mahé.
