Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Communication in advance was good, and the host was willing to add an extra mattress (for charge). The room AC and hot water worked. The sea was visible from the room. Close proximity to the beach and pools below are nice. There are a number of eateries and food in the complex itself. The beds were comfortable. It's nice that the room had a washing machine (though didn't use this time) and refrigerator.
This may be the case for all the rentals in Timurbay, but only one set of key cards was given for each room, and the key card is necessary for using the elevator, getting out of the complex, and entering the room. This means that it's very hard for two people to go anywhere (even just downstairs) at different times, because no one can enter/exit without the key cards. I didn't know this would be an issue, but it would be worth asking if the host could provide an additional set of key cards if you have more than one person staying in the room. I really don't like the parking garage. This of course is not a room issue, but an overall complex issue. The ramps from one floor to another are extremely narrow, and the parking space for this room required going up and down multiple levels. Checking out at the end was frustrating as the elevators were quite congested and two of the four elevators were out of service for a period of time. Again, this is not a host issue, but more of a building/complex problem. The WIFI in the room was not working correctly.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026, the interior, the facilities are all worth the money. The morning beach view was mesmerising. The checkin and checkout process was easy. Cheaper and more worth money compare to other property in kuantan
The entrance is a bit confusing. I got an "expired" access card and have to wait for the staff to send a new one. I texted on WhatsApp regarding tennis court usage procedure but owner just said until 10pm. Turns out it needed to be booked by owners first. Just knew when i arrived the security told us

Even after booking had to wait outside the gate waiting for room to be vacated, and then receive qr code etc ... Thats really strange behavior to a customer! Room looks quiet old and not much maintained including bad painting etc. No toiletries provided! No good restaurant with the hotel and no food service to room. Considering the room design, the interior designer did a poor job!

Access was difficult. Information had not been sent. There was difficulty with wheelchair access. Long way from parking, no covered walkway, having to stop on a slope to give room to open the door at the lobby entrance. Step to get into the apartment. Noisy, screaming children, slamming doors. The worst bed I have ever slept in.. No internet, broken washing machine, broken shower head and tap. Limited electrical outlets, most, laughingly taken with WIFI boosters, yet no internet and WiFi only at 3 bar. Worst ever experience.

My stay was horrible, the washing machines is not working, aircond auto running but not so cold. no brooms to swep the floor. only provides shampoo and handwash, no additional toiletries like toothpaste or brush. View was not garden view but facing parking lot. Room too far from lobby, so need to walk to mail room in different tower to locate the keys. the route also is confusing to get to tower B. The towel provided also look dirty but i am sure it was because of the usage.
