Δεν ανταποκρίνεται στις φωτογραφίες, δεν είναι καθόλου καινούριο, υπάρχουν φθορές, δεν ήταν όσο καθαρό περίμενα, δεν υπάρχει προσωπικό αλλά απαντούν πολύ γρήγορα στα μηνύματα και οι οδηγίες που δίνουν πριν το check in και πριν το check out είναι αναλυτικές. Τέλος, η κουζίνα είναι πολύ λειτουργική, αλλά δεν υπάρχουν ούτε τα βασικά για μαγείρεμα (αλάτι, πιπέρι, λάδι, καφές, ζάχαρη...)

Att det var nära till allt Välstädad och utrustad med de man behöver. Fråga efter mer handdukar och de fick vi på en gång. Jättetrevlig personal.

Very local, easy to get anywhere while not being in the middle of city centre. Clean and modern inside

Even though it’s not in the middle of the city, it is still very noisy. You can hear everything through the roof and walls inside, while also being disturbed by cars and pedestrians outside the windows.

Good value for money, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds, good check-in information by friendly staff

Small maintenance deficiencies: Table leg loose, microwave unit needed to be reset due to error status, airconditioning unit showing error message; main negative point was an extremely bad smell in the hall leading to the rooms which sometimes entered the apartment. Without smell, it would have been an 8 or 9 point stay.

Enkelt att checka in, bra information på mail. Vet inte om man kunde få kontakt med någon person på plats? Träffade ingen men hade inte heller något behov av hjälp.

Skruva fast klädhängaren i rum 19. Den satt inte fast och det syntes på väggen att många försök har gjorts. Det smäller till ordentligt när den åker i backen.

The property exceeded my expectations. I've already recommended to my friends who are planning to travel to Uppsala and I definitely will stay here again.

Jag bodde här fredag kväll till söndag morgon, tillsammans med min dotter och en kompis till henne, och överlag var det ett riktigt trevligt boende. Köket var fräscht och även porslin och tallrikar var av fin kvalitet, vilket verkligen förhöjde matupplevelsen. Kylskåp med litet frysfack och kaffebryggare fanns på plats. I sovrummen fanns bra förvaring med upphängningsmöjligheter för kläder och hyllor, samt smart placerade kontaktuttag på båda sidor om dubbelsängarna. Det var enkelt att ta sig in med dörrkod och en separat kod till nyckelskåpet. Det var takfönstren i båda sovrummen som släppte in bra med ljus vilket var bra då det inte fanns något fönster i köket – de gick att öppna och hade motordriven mörkläggning, vilket var skönt så att det blev riktigt mörkt så vi inte vaknade när solen gick upp. Lägenheten var sval och det fanns även en AC men den behövde vi inte använda. Det fanns även gott om parkering i området. Innan vistelsen fick jag snabba och trevliga svar på mina frågor.

Hissen var otroligt långsam och det saknades en trappa man kunde använda istället – utrymningstrappan gick inte att nå utifrån. I det stora hela är jag glad att det fanns en hiss men hade även önskat att man kunde gå i trapporna men det är bara en önskan. I beskrivningen stod det även att lägenheten skulle ha ett vardagsrum, vilket inte stämde när vi kom fram. När jag påtalade detta menade Foundry att felet låg hos Booking.com. Det tycker jag är ett svagt svar – det är alltid boendets eget ansvar att korrekturläsa och säkerställa att beskrivningen stämmer, oavsett vilken plattform den visas på. Vi fick ingen egentlig ursäkt för detta. För vår korta vistelse var det inget stort problem, men hade jag bott där en hel vecka hade jag inte accepterat ett så svalt bemötande. Slutligen fanns det bara tv i ett av sovrummen – hade gärna sett att båda hade det, då alla kanske inte vill titta tv i samma säng. Sammanfattningsvis rekommenderar jag ändå boendet, då det i det stora hela höll bra standard och kändes genomtänkt. Det är egentligen bara den missvisande beskrivningen gällande vardagsrummet som drar ner helhetsintrycket.

Location was great & check in was simple, approx a 15 min walk from Uppsala Central Station. We had a very early flight and were quite tired, and they very kindly let us check in early as our room was already ready, which was excellent service. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. It’s essentially an aparthotel with all apartments/rooms in one building. It was a clean and comfortable place to stay when visiting friends in Uppsala and Stockholm, and brilliant value for money. One of the cleaners gave us a big smile and hello in the corridor when we arrived, which was lovely.

The kitchenette was well equipped with appliances and cooking equipment, but there were hardly any amenities apart from 2 coffee pods and 2 sugar sachets for the entire time we were there. There was a coffee machine which you could use the pods for, but there was also a filter coffee machine with filter papers, but no coffee to use in this. As it was a full kitchenette, it would have been helpful to have more to use such as tea bags, sugar, more coffee, oil, salt and pepper, perhaps some milk in the fridge. We had to stock this ourselves, which I have not encountered in a studio apartment before, I’ve stayed in plenty of Airbnbs and hotels where this was provided. We left behind some teabags and sugar, which I hope is left for the next guests. We were also unsure whether our room would be turned over during the day like in a hotel with fresh towels etc - it wasn’t, which is fine, but it would have been helpful to know given we stayed for 4 nights.

The studio was very clean and had great facilities for our long weekend in Uppsala. We liked that there was a filter coffee machine and a modern kitchen so that we could cook our meals. It was close to the river and the local parkrun. Communication with the hotel was good with quick responses.

The room did not have a window - just skylights so there was no view. I feel that this should've been mentioned in the room description. However, this room seemed to be in a quiet part of the building so that was positive.

Everything was good. It was clean and easy to find.

The emergency exit information sign fell of the door. It would be great with free coffee to brew.

Lite dåligt ljus i badrummet

Jag är väldigt nöjd och kommer definitivt tillbaka. Det är så bekvämt att laga sin egen mat och ha allt man behöver i lägenheten.

Det var trevligt att det fanns lite tvål, dushcreme, diskmedel och ett par kaffekapslar (även om jag inte använde det.

Det enda var att tvålpumpen i toan var trög när man skulle pumpa, det var svårt att få ut tvålen.

Lättillgängligt och centralt.

Störande oljud från ventilationen eller möjligtvis kylskåpet mitt i natten, gjorde att jag vaknade och inte kunde somna så länge det fortsatte. Sov dåligt. Jag har bott på Foundry vid två tillfällen tidigare och har inte upplevt att oljud från huset har stört mig så. Detta var lägenhet nr.13

This is by far my favorite hotel in Uppsala when I am visiting for work for a few days. My second stay. Well-equipped appartment. Clean. Great staff. Good laundry. We could check out a little later. Great location by the river and the city park, walkable to the centre.

Nothing significant I can think of. We asked for an appartment on the first (second) floor, which was much better than the one on the ground floor where I stayed earlier - you don't have people passing by the windows and the car noise is not as bad.

La pulizia e la comodità.

Rispetto alle foto mi aspettavo che l'alloggio fosse più grande e confortevole. Il piano superiore ha un'altezza molto ridotta e quindi si è costretti a stare piegati su se stessi.

This is our 2nd time here. We love the location ,lovely walk next to the lake as soon as you go out of the apartment,close to the park and walkable to the centre of Uppsala & also to the train station. The rooms are super clean with all the necessary things in the kitchenette. I contacted them on Booking.com for extra towels and got a quick reply. Definitely my favorite place to stay in Uppsala.

Not much :) Maybe what I would add is a mirror in the bedroom and maybe a vending machine in the common area.

Nuestra experiencia ha sido muy buena. El hotel está situado justo al margen del canal a 10/15mts caminando del centro. El paseo es muy agradable y nosotros lo agradecíamos antes de ir a la Universidad. La zona es bonita y tiene buenos servicios bastante cerca. El apartamento está bien equipado y muy limpio. Hemos pasado allí cuatro noches y no nos ha faltado nada. La comunicación y la disposición del personal, Eleni y Alexandra, ha sido excelente. Al dejar el apartamento el domingo, guardaron nuestro equipaje hasta la tarde en la oficina, y Eleni lo organizó todo para que pudiéramos recogerlo después del cierre a las 17:00. Si volvemos a Upsala, seguro que volveremos. Gracias.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, komfortabel und mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation war problemlos, es hat alles prima geklappt und wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Uppsala. Vielen Dank!

I had a lovely room with many facilities including cooker and fridge, writing desk, chairs and TV. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower, soap and towels. The aparthotel is close to the river and the city centre is within walking distance. It is handy to have an umbrella, which I should have taken with me on a couple of occasions..

Alojamiento práctico buena relación calidad precio. Muy cerca del Río, un paseo muy agradable hasta la zona centro. Apartamentos bien insonorizados. Supermercado willy cerca. En la zona alquilamos también unas bicicletas para un día aunque no eran de muy buena calidad, pero estupendas para lo que necesitábamos.

The Hotel within walking distance of the city centre and most sights such as the cathedral, botanical garden, museum and central train and bus stations. Communication from the staff was excellent with very clear instructions regarding check-in, accessing keys, laundry facilities, garbage disposal and check out.

Ottima posizione, il centro è raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti lungo il fiume. La struttura non ha parcheggio dedicato, ma siamo sempre riusciti a trovare facilmente sempre parcheggio in strada di fronte alla struttura. Appartamento pulito e con una bellissima cucina.

Les studios sont confortables, spacieux et bien agencés. La localisation est bonne, à une dizaine de minutes de marche du centre. La literie est de bonne qualité et l'établissement très calme.

Wir hatten leider zwei ungleich große Zimmer. Eines sehr groß und geräumig; das andere dagegen eher zu klein.

La ubicación es ideal, cerca del centro pero con facilidad de acceso y pudiendo aparcar el coche en la propia puerta (parking de pago en toda la zona). Tuvimos una incidencia y el personal lo solucionó de forma rápida y con muy buena disposición. Las ventanas del tejado tenían persianas y posibilidad e apertura a través de botones, muy cómodo para adecuar el nivel de luz en las habitaciones.

El menaje de cocina era muy básico, podría incluir más variedad de elementos. Había polvo en los ventiladores.

Sehr modernes Zimmer mit einer sehr gut ausgestatten Küchenzeile und einem sauberen, modernen Badezimnmer. Gute, bequeme Betten.

Das Zimmer ist nicht besonders groß und wirkt insgesamt ein wenig nüchtern. Essen zu zweit geht nur nebeneinander an einem winzigen Tisch.

Very clean, with a good kitchen inside. Very comfortable bed! It’s close to the castle and art gallery, and the canal right outside the door is just brilliant. There are lots of nearby bars, a very nice Konditori and a great little pop up bar right by the water. Communication with hosts was excellent. Entry and access was very easy.

The particular apartment I stayed in was on the ground floor, with the window facing out into the lane way. If the curtain was open anyone walking by could see in. I also really wanted to open the window as the room was a bit stuffy but didn’t feel comfortable to. Lastly, the room was very dark, even during the day. I didn’t love that.

Location was excellent, 10 min walk along the beautiful waterside & park to the main centre quare & shops and 2 mins to cafes & bars. Alexandra was very profesdionsl and easy to deal with. Excellent communicatio and on hand for any queries regarding transport from the airport & keys etc.

The ceiling was very low in the loft & narrow spiral staircase

Clean and good facilities for cooking and storing food. Lots of space in our rooms for our luggage.

Room can get quite warm, I didnt see the controls for the aircon which was quite high up and was very loud. The hotel is a bit far from any convenience store, and it's a bit of a walk from public transport.

La mezzanine est vraiment très basse de plafond. On y est obligé de marcher courbé! Le nombre insuffisant d'endroits (porte-manteaux, patères....) où accrocher ses affaires, notamment dans la salle de bain. Le matelas du canapé fait mal au dos...

No recycling options what so ever. Would've appreciated some oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen.

Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe und war sauber und ordentlich. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, Backofen, Induktionsherd mit zwei Kochplatten sowie ausreichend Geschirr zur Nutzung. Dadurch konnte man sich problemlos selbst versorgen. Auch die weitere Ausstattung war sehr gut: Es gab eine Klimaanlage, was bei den warmen Temperaturen sehr angenehm war, einen Smart-TV, auf dem man beispielsweise auch Netflix nutzen konnte, sowie ein Bügelbrett und ein Bügeleisen. Zusätzlich bestand die Möglichkeit, in einem separaten Waschraum Wäsche zu waschen. Das Badezimmer und die Toilette waren ebenfalls sauber und völlig in Ordnung. Der kontaktlose Check-in über Zahlencodes für die Türen hat unkompliziert und problemlos funktioniert. Die Lage ist recht zentral und in der Umgebung gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten. Diese werden über eine externe Park-App bezahlt, was für uns aber gut funktioniert hat. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht und fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt vollkommen in Ordnung. Für einen Aufenthalt in Uppsala können wir die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Es gab für uns nichts Negatives. Wir waren mit der Unterkunft insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

misled about the so-called discount on the restaurant beside the rooms. I checked with the manager at the restaurant whether I would get a 20% discount if I was resident in the apartment. I was assured that I would, so my wife and I had dinner. But when it came to paying the bill I was refused a discount. When I queried this, I was told that "all the prices on the menu are already discounted" - but I was definitely charged the same price as non-residents. The meal was good, but I am not happy with the restaurant manager who misled me; so although it was not your fault I will not be staying at the apartments again.

Yllätyin huoneiston tilavuudesta ja erityisesti huonekorkeus oli upea. Tilat olivat siistit, toimivat ja viihtyisät. Isot ikkunat joiden päälle sai kaksi kerrosta verhoja, joten päivällä huoneen sai pimeäksi. Kauniit astiat. Parisänky oli todella suuri ja mukava. Pyysimme kahta lasten matkasänkyä ja se onnistui. Kahden syöttötuolin sijaan hotellilla oli tarjota vain yksi, ja toimme oman potan. Alue on noin 15 minuuttia keskustasta, mutta vieressä on kaunis kanaali, puisto ja ravintola, (Brasserie21) jossa isot annokset.

Äänet kadulta kuuluvat sisään, mutta arkena kadulla ei ollut juuri liikennettä. Keittössä oli kaksi roskista, mutta niissä ei lukenut mitään lajittelusta. Ilmeisesti biojäte olisi ollut erillinen. Keittössä ei ollut tiskiharjaa vain tiskaussieni. Myös suola, öljy ja kuorintaveitsi olisivat olleet hyvä lisä. Vessassa ei ollut mattoa eikä siivouslastaa, mutta lattia kuivui nopeasti. Sängyn päädyssä oli valokatkaisija, joten pari kertaa yön aikana tönäisin valot vahingossa päälle.

Bed is in mezzanine and there is hardly any space between the bed and some parts of the ceiling. Feels like you're in a coffin. Also, Aircon does not reach that part of the room because of the glass balustrade blocking all the air.

It was a great location, quiet and near the river and close enough to walk into the city center. Liked having kitchen facilities and Wifi. The room had a mini split to cool during the unusually warm weather - much appreciated!

The loft with the double bed had only about 4.5 ft (1.3 m) head room. Had to crouch to get to bed once in loft. Also had a rectangular protrusion, 6 cm down from ceiling, with no warning or padding. Bumped head on it and got a bruise/bump/broken skin. Warning and/or padding needed.

I liked the location. The river closeby was beautiful and it was a walkable distance to the city centre
