Garifalakis Comfort Rooms

We loved staying at Garifalakis and we would stay here again. The location was great, perfect walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops and We rented our car through their rental service for our entire stay. The room was cleaned every day and it was so good coming back to our room after a long day in the sun exploring and being at the beach, to a beautiful clean apartment and fresh towels. The staff were amazing and even gave us a gift when we left ❤️

Honestly there wasn’t really anything we didn’t like, the shower head didn’t stay up but we didn’t care and it definitely didn’t ruin our stay.

The people were very friendly as was the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was a short stroll to the main beach and restaurants. The room was big and had coffee machine, cook top etc.

Lovely well appointed and well equiped spacious suite. 2 balconies and a separate lounge & kitchen area. Big comfortable bed. Exceptionally clean and very friendly helpful staff & owner. Good location in Pollonia - a 5 minute walk to the restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at Garifalakis for our honeymoon. We received great recommendations from both the transfer and the receptionist. We would absolutely stay here again. It was also walkable to everything in Pollonia which was great.

We travel quite a bit, and Garifalakis Comfort Rooms was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. This is a true family-run business, and you can feel it from the moment you arrive. Every single person was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. They went far beyond what you’d expect from a hotel—helping arrange our rental car, taking care of laundry, offering fantastic local recommendations, and assisting with anything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The location is absolutely unbeatable. You’re literally steps from the crystal-clear water with breathtaking views, yet right in the heart of Pollonia, surrounded by wonderful restaurants, cafés, and everything you could want. We hardly had to use our car once we arrived. Waking up every morning to the peaceful ocean, relaxing on the balcony, and ending the day with the sunset made this one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Milos, stop looking and book Garifalakis Comfort Rooms. It’s the perfect combination of warm hospitality, an unbeatable location, beautiful accommodations, and people who truly treat you like family. We can’t wait to come back.

The room was clean and well-equipped with cooking amenities, which made our stay comfortable. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. Once the sun rises, direct sunlight shines straight onto the bed because the curtains are not blackout curtains. Installing proper blackout blinds or curtains would greatly improve the sleeping experience. There were also mosquitoes in the room. Unfortunately, despite staying for two nights, the mosquitoes remained throughout our stay, which was quite bothersome. Overall, the room is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, but addressing the blackout curtains and mosquito issue would make the experience much better.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a Big private terrasse, and the family who runs the place is absolutely adorable. They were so welcoming of our 2 year old son, even gifting him souvenirs. The place is very conveniently located in peaceful Pollonia, just a des steps from the beach, a stunning sunset and very Nice restaurants. Perfect for a family. We would definitely stay again ! Thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at Garifalakis, the room was light & beautiful. It is a quiet neighbourhood (mainly because we were there out of season), but it's walking distance from great restaurants & a beautiful beach to watch the sun set.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν φανταστικό, είχε μέσα παραπάνω απ’όσα θα μπορούσαμε να ζητήσουμε. Πολύ φωτεινό, καθαρή και όμορφο και με υπέροχη θέα. Ομως αυτό που έκανε την διανυκτέρευση μας ξεχωριστή ήταν η κυρία Νεκταρια, μας υποδέχτηκε με τον πιο όμορφο τρόπο, πάντα χαμογελαστή και πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Νιώσαμε απευθείας οικειότητα και μας έκανε να αισθανθούμε ότι ήμασταν στο σπίτι μας. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσουμε ξανά στο μέλλον.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was looked after. My ferry was significantly delayed due to winds, and Nectaria the hotel owner personally came and picked me up from the ferry port at 4:30am. The staff provided wonderful recommendations and were very helpful and friendly throughout my trip.

We had an excellent stay at Garifalakis Comfort Rooms! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - our time in Milos wouldn’t have been the same without the itinerary and suggestions from Flora. The rooms were very comfortable and the accommodation is in a convenient location a short from Pollonia. Staff also organised a transfer from the port and car rental, which was very helpful. We will definitely be back if we are in Milos again!

The hosts went above and beyond, making us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was genuine and thoughtful, with so many special touches that made the stay even better—like high-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other toiletry extras that showed great attention to detail. The space was spotless and beautifully remodeled, with a fresh and modern feel. We especially appreciated the soft, beach-ready towels they provided, which made our beach days even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality so perfectly. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer—but we’re already looking forward to coming back! We had a perfect stay. Amazing value for money and the staff were extremely accommodating, welcoming and absolutely lovely to deal with. The room exceeded expectations and was comfortable, spacious, quiet and very clean. Location was also great, so easy and quick to walk i to town for dinner and a swim etc. Can't recommend enough as again, everything exceeded expectations.

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with warm feeling somehow from the staff and management of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very near to the city center and restaurants as well as few steps to the sea for a wonderful sunset.

Spacious, bright and spotlessly clean room, with nice balcony. Liked the quiet location and only a few minutes walk to the beach and shops etc. Apollonia is a very nice village. The staff were really communicative and very helpful and gave me good tips on arrival. The room has good aircon/wifi and kitchen facilities, which I found great. Above all the staff were very welcoming!

Lovely set of rooms run by Mrs Nektarina and her family, as well as the lovely Flora on reception. Great location, only 5-10 minutes walk to town, and very close to beach/rocks for amazing sunset views. Room very clean and well designed, good facilities for self catering, and we really appreciated the complimentary snacks / water.

You can sometimes hear other guests / staff in other rooms but it did not cause us too much of a problem.

Very nice villa close to the beach with the most amazing sunsets. Very warm welcome from the host, giving all the tips for visiting the island. Daily room cleaning, excellent communication. Very cute quaint town with the restaurants on the water.

They accommodated our group of 18 with little notice - thank goodness we were early on in the season - and they could not have been more generous or friendly. The rooms were spotless and so comfortable. Snacks and coffee and slippers and all sorts of small things made it feel extra special. Natalie at reception was like a "Tia" taking care of all of us "family." This place is a gem. Easy walk to the mini-market and several beaches. A great spot!

Garifalakis was a dream! It felt like we were part of the family from the moment we stepped into this family-owned hotel. Everyone we interacted with was so hospitable, warm-hearted, and generous! The hotel itself was incredibly comfortable with lots of space, reliable wifi, and a quiet environment. They offer transportation from the port and airport, and also have an associated car rental company for easy transport. I would definitely recommend to all visiting Milos!

We absolutely loved our stay in Garifalakis Comfort Rooms. The staff were absolutely outstanding. On check in, the receptionist talked us through the main beaches and attractions on Milos, gave us great recommendations on where to eat (and honest recommendations about where not to eat!), and even had the foresight to warn us that Greek driving rules in roundabouts are the exact opposite of what we're used to back home. My every interaction with them was warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and have excellent showers. They have a large private carpark just across the road. It is a really easy walk to Pollonia beach and associated restaurants and minimart. The Garifalakis business also includes a car rental agency - we had already booked our own car rental through another agency, but it would be possible to arrange everything with Garifalakis Comfort Rooms.

Right by all the restaurants and beach or Pollonia which was a really chilled out area of Milos. Sophie, who picked us up from the port, gave us great tips for what to do and where to eat. The room has everything we needed.

The location is far from the airport/port. You will need a vehicle to really explore the island and all the beaches.

Our host, Nektaria, was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time in Milos and would stay at Garifalakis again. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and beaches.

The location An easy 5-7min stroll into the Main Street of Pollonia where there are many beautiful restaurants and cafes to eat at. The area is very quiet and peaceful which means you’ll get a good night sleep! The swimming beach is located about a 3min walk away with lots of trees for shade. There is also a fabulous traditional Greek sweets shop in main town that is easily walkable too. If you’d like a peaceful stay close to a main town and swimming beach - this should be a top pick! They also have a large carpark if you are driving :) The room (comfort one bedroom apartment) Very clean and modern with all that we needed for our stay. The bathroom is a traditional style with a stone tiled shower. The room was very clean and towels were replaced daily. We had two balconies which was great for sun/shade depending on the time of day. There were two air cons and also a kitchenette. It’s a fantastic base for exploring Milos. The people!! The family and staff who run Garifalakis are some of the kindest people we’ve met on our travels. We had flight drama trying to arrive to Milos from Athens (as it was very windy our plane got turned around). We messaged Garifalakis and they told us about the last ferry out to Milo’s for the night. And they met us at the port at 1am to pick us up! They made check in so easy and made excellent recommendations on where to eat, hire ATVs, sail on a catamaran and where to explore to get the most out of the island. They are also extremely friendly and made coming back to the hotel at the end of the day really enjoyable - welcoming us like family with their kind greetings and conversations. We are already looking forward to returning to Garifalakis, it was an exceptional stay!

Clean room with comfortable bed. Very good location which is close to Pollonia beach and Pollonia centre (5-10 mins walk). Sofia, Sotirios and Nektarina are the BEST hosts we've had on our trip to Greece. I wish all hosts were like them. They recommended a very good local restaurant (Enalion) and a good brunch place (Deck). Absolutely the best and comfortable experience. They also gave us a little gift on check out. 10/10!

We loved everything about this stay. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen to cook simple meals. We utilised the rental car through Garifalakis and this process was very convenient and easy. The owner Nektaria was lovely and extremely helpful whenever we needed something.
