L'emplacement sur la plage El Almejal, entre la jungle et l'océan - magnifique ! À une quinzaine de minutes à pied d'El Valle, cuisine commune pratique pour ne pas avoir à ressortir, la possibilité de pouvoir prendre le petit déj, les hamacs pour se détendre et profiterde la vue, les activités proposées, le personnel très sympa :)

Anfitriones excelentes, nos facilitaron todo (transportes, actividades, comida...) y los guías con los que trabajan para las actividades también de 10!! Hostel maravilloso, bonito y muy buena ubicación, cabaña para 4 personas muy amplia y cómoda. Recomendado 100% sin duda.

La ubicación era espectacular entre palmeras y con una buena playa. Acceso relativamente fácil. Consideramos que es mejor zona que estar en el centro de el valle o en la bahía. Creemos haber acertado escogiendo esa zona para alojarnos. Te ayudan con el transporte y ponen café en la mañana.

Aunque nada estaba del todo mal, nada estaba del todo bien. Simplemente con unas sábanas nuevas y toallas nuevas ya habríamos tenido mayor sensación de limpieza. También echamos en falta alguna mosquitera más ya que en la cabaña se podría poner sin mucho problema. El baño no era muy allá y obviamente no tenía agua caliente. También estaría bien renovar un poco los utensilios de cocina e incluso poner un microondas para hacer unos noodles que ellos mismos podrían vender, ya que no hay tiendas cercanas.

Buena localización, el personal nos contó muy bien los tours que ofrecen i las posibilidades que hay por la zona

La zona comun de la cocina muy descuidado y sucio. Las sabanas, toallas i almoadas de la habitacion no estaban limpias del todo. No es una mala opción contando que todos los hoteles y hostales de la zona son mucho mas caros

I stayed in one of the individual cabins and it was beautiful. You can see the garden with hummingbirds flying around at the back and the sea out the front where there is a hammock to relax. It really is as nice as the pictures, perhaps even nicer. The clothes drying rack was a bonus. Everything was very clean when I arrived.

Not really a negative, but just that the breakfast is only served from 8 which is too late if you have a boat trip which starts at that time.

All the water being drinkable is amazing, as was the staff, hammocks and the chill areas. Being able to rent a surfboard/body board is also a nice touch. As is being able to organize tours through reception. Seeing whales from the main building is also quite special. Our room was also great. Transfer to and from the airport was really helpful too.

It's a bit of a walk into town to get groceries, a 10% charge to pay by card would be good to know in advance. We had to get cash from the Western Union in town to pay.

Daniela and all the staff were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hostel has a water filter system and you can drink water from the sink, that was a big plus.

The shared fridge could be a bit cleaner but anything else was awesome.

La tranquilidad del alojamiento. Aunque esté a 20 mins del pueblo merece la pena por las vistas y la paz del lugar.

Franchement tout était super, le personnel, le lieu face a une plage incroyable, rien à redire on reviendra !

Tout était parfait. L’ambiance, le lieu, l’équipe, les activités proposées. De loin le meilleur hôtel de mon voyage en deux mois et demi en Colombie ! Je recommande totalement ce paradis vue mer.

Personal encantador con buena vibra. Espacios ideales para conectar con la naturaleza. Limpio. Cómodo para realizar actividades. Cerca del pueblo dando un paseo. Repetiríamos!

Mejorable la cocina.

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement, la nature environnante, la gentillesse des hôtes et des volontaires, les différents endroits où se reposer et les sorties proposées (balades avec un guide)

Je trouve le prix un peu élevé pour l’état des lieux. On y serait resté plus longtemps si cela était plus économique

Desde el minuto uno supe que había llegado a un lugar especial. Dani, Ema, Santi y los voluntarios me hicieron sentir en casa. Estuve 2 semanas disfrutando de ese paraíso mientras trabajaba online sin problemas, súper a gusto y muy feliz de haber elegido el lugar correcto😊❤️.

L’emplacement en face de l’océan, la tranquillité, la team était superbe! Nous avons logé dans une chambre privée un grand luxe, l’espace commun est top, franchement que du positif je recommande vivant, très rapport qualité prix ( chambre privée )

Location and chilled vibe, not a party hostel.

We had a really nice stay at Pelican House. The staff is very nice and helpful. The vibes are really chill and we loved our cabin in the middle of the beautiful garden in front of the sea. Also the shared kitchen and terrace were perfect for our needs.

Me sentí como en casa en ese lugar tan mágico. El servicio es excelente, el personal está muy atento !

El alojamiento es un remanso de paz en un sitio paradisíaco, enfrente está la playa donde puedes surfear olas increíbles y detrás la más densa y bonita vegetación. Si te fijas podrás ver un montón de animales conviviendo contigo en perfecta armonía. El pueblo se encuentra a unos 15 minutos caminando,pero también tienes opción de ir en tuk tuk. Los desayunos son ricos y abundantes. La gente que lo regenta con muy buena onda,te ayudan en todo lo que necesites y te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda un lugar de ensueño para desconectar y conectar con tu esencia PD:leí en comentarios que para llegar te tienes que mojar pero no es cierto,tienes tres caminos para llegar y solo en uno te mojas, además tienes buena conexión a internet por si necesitas seguir conectado.Aunque sin duda lo mejor es dejarse fluir y disfrutar de tanta naturaleza

Todo estuvo perfecto!

El personal muy amable y atentos a todo. Muy a gusto con las personas que trabajan ahí. La habitación tenía espacio y cuerdas para colgar la ropa mojada. Gimnasio rústico al aire libre. Ubicación a pie de playa.

La limpieza tanto de los baños como de la cocina podría ser mejor. Más luz en la habitación porque no se veía mucho aunque estuviera la luz encendida.

Von Anfang bis Ende habe ich mich hier willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, gibt viele Tipps. Es ist einfach in dieser Atmosphäre Kontakte zu knüpfen. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

A bed in the heart of paradise. The staff is amazing (special thanks to Juan, he was extremely helpful and so so nice) the hostel is located in the beach and the jungle (in el valle those two things are the same thing) so cleanses and comfort is exceptional for the location meaning: align your expectations and enjoy being in the heart of nature.

L'accueil est vraiment très agréable. Le personnel est chaleureux et attentionné L'ambiance est vraiment sympa. L'emplacement de l'hôtel et les chambres individuelles avec vue sur la mer sont top! Nous avons vraiment beaucoup aimé notre semaine au Pelican.

Great hostel right on the beach front. Nothing fancy but extremely relaxed and chilled vibe which is what we needed after long days on tours. Comfy beds and a great open kitchen.

Tout était bien. Le personnel adorable et qui renseigne bien. L’emplacement dans la jungle face a l’océan… on s’y sent très bien. Très bel atmosphère.

Nada, todo perfecto, estuvimos alojados en la cabaña alta con vista al mar todo un lujo.

La ubicación es inmejorable. En medio de la jungla y a unos metros del océano. La paz y tranquilidad que se respiraba allí es impagable. Además los encargados del hostel fueron muy atentos a cualquier detalle

Hostel dans un endroit idyllique à 25 minutes à pied du centre de El valle. Vous avez presque les pieds dans l’océan ! Je le recommande sans aucune hésitation !

Perfecte locatie om dicht bij de natuur te zijn en te ontspannen. Het ligt op het strand, dicht bij het dorpje en de accommodatie was erg proper. Het personeel hielp bij het organiseren van de tours en hebben ons erg leuke tours aanbevolen. Wij hadden hier de tijd van ons leven en wouden langer blijven! De receptionist was een schatje

Personnel au top et à l'écoute, ambiance décontractée. Parfait pour un séjour entre jungle et océan dans une atmosphère agréable. Mode de vie à la cool sans être pressé. J'ai également pu étudier quand je voulais grâce au WiFi de très bonne qualité.

Really liked the community vibe and was lucky to be there in a good time in which I met a lot of interesting people! Super friendly staff, higly recommendable:)

La ubicacion lejos de todo, en frente a la playa y al lado de la selva. La atención también fue muy buena. Recomendamos el tour nocturno en la selva, de lo mejor que hicimos. También recomendamos los cuartos privados, muy lindos y tranquilos.

Es un poco dificil llegar y ubicar la entrada del hotel y no venden nada de comida.

I loved to stay at the Pelican House Hostel! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. The rooms are simple but clean, and I enjoyed waking up to a view of the jungle right from my bed. There are hammocks right in front of the dorms (and downstairs) where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the beach and ocean — such a peaceful spot! The beach is only a one-minute walk away through the hostel’s lovely "garden"/plants. To buy some groceries to cook one can go to El Valle in 15 - 20 minutes walking. Additionally, you can book tours (like a night walk through the jungle) directly at the hostel, which I found super convenient — I didn’t have to spend time searching around, everything was arranged for me. That way, I could fully relax and enjoy my stay while reading or doing sudokus. Great vibe, amazing location, and overall just a wonderful place to stay. I’d definitely come back.

Even though the kitchen offers everything you need, some things (cutting board etc.) seem a bit old and could be in a better shape. Nevertheless, I enjoyed cooking here and wouldn't consider this as downside at all.

LOVED this hostel. As soon as I walked in I knew I’d love it. They’ve designed the layout of it perfectly, the bar area, kitchen area and social areas are all open making it really easy to meet people. Friendly staff and beautiful location

The only thing they could do to make this place better is look at more clothes drying areas. It was very humid and rainy when I was there meaning I left with very wet clothes but it wasn’t the end of the world. More of a suggestion than criticism. Really loved it here

Es un. hostel clásico con algunas habitaciones privadas. El entorno es excepcional, pura selva y playa del Pacífico. El personal (los dos Santiagos y la dueña, Daniela) de lo mejor. Cocina compartida, lo cual da lugar a mucha comunicación con los otros huéspedes, la mayoría mucho más jóvenes que nosotros. Tours espectaculares en barca a las playas aledañas y a la selva y sus cursos de agua dulce a buen precio.

Pienso que las habitaciones privadas podrían estar mejor pensadas en algunos pequeños detalles nada costosos, como por ejemplo luces de lectura o simplemente vasos en la habitación.

Hermoso lugar frente a la playa. Habitaciones cómodas, y buena vibra. El sonido desde las habitaciones es naturaleza pura.

El baño es muy difícil de mantener limpio.

Toller Flair mitten im Jungle mit super netten Hosts und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten! Auch dass es direkt am Meer ist, macht das rundum zu einem tollen Hostel!

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden :) vielleicht eine kleine Brücke zu dem Hostel wäre noch hilfreich ;)

Après 3 mois passés en Colombie, The Pelican House Hostel reste un de mes meilleurs souvenirs, autant pour le lieu - situé entre la jungle et l'océan - que pour les personnes qui y travaillent et les autres voyageurs rencontrés. On s'y sent comme avec sa bande de copains proches. Adrian et Juan, les réceptionnistes, sont le parfait duo pour toujours vous faire rire (sauf quand ils vous forcent à prononcer "Borojo"), et Daniela, la propriétaire, est adorable, hilarante et fabuleuse danseuse. Le paysage est magnifique, vous pouvez vous réveiller le matin avec un café à la main, regarder la mer, vous y baigner puis retourner commencer la journée à l'auberge. (++ pour le café disponible à n'importe quelle heure).

Un lugar maravilloso. La habitación estaba genial. Es amplia y cómoda. A pie de playa. A 10 min andando del pueblo y la gente que lo lleva tiene muy buen rollo.

L’allotjament et brinda està en un lloc idil•lic, les zones comuns eran grans i força còmodes i sobretot l’ambient que hi havia al hostel era increïble!! Millor lloc impossible per quedar-se al Valle.
