Reviewed Aug 18, 2026El mismo dia nos fuimos debido al estado de mala higinene del hotel y atras el agua y arena estaban sucias por las embarcaciones, etc... Hasta el momento no me han cobrado la multa de un dia de hospedaje.
Higiene, entorno, cuidado del edificio, las fotos en booking inducen a error, etc... nos fuimos el mismo dia, no pasamos ni 15 minutos en el hotel.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Ήταν ακριβώς πάνω στη θάλασσα κοιμόμουν και άκουγα το κύμα κάτω απ’ το παράθυρο. Επίσης υπάρχει και εστιατόριο στο κατάλυμα με καλό φαγητό. Το προσωπικό ήταν ιδιαίτερα φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό. Μακάρι να είχα κλείσει περισσότερες μέρες εκεί.

We hadden de 3 slaapkamer woning en 2 vd slaapkamers zijn wel klein. Onze zoon is lang en kon in de bovenste badkamer niet staan. De slaapkamer aan de straatzijde is gehorig en de airco unit maakt heel veel lawaai.

La playa debajo del departamento está chiquita y llena de barcos, no recomendable para meterse al mar y otras playas publicas estan relativamente cerca pero 10-15 minutos a pie

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Se ubico rapidamente el hospedaje, la ubicacion es buena esta cerca a la zona de los tour que salen a la saona y si les gusta caminar pueden ir facilmente a dominucus, o tomar el bus. La habitacion es bonita y tiene un pequeño balcon con vista al mar en la primera planta, sin embargo deben considerar que tiene una plataforma con un pequeño restaurant adelante.

When I made a reservation, it was not able to see, do our room have the kitchen or not. It was the last room according to Booking information, but when we arrived, we saw another room also free. The reservation guy showd us the room, we have booked. The wall was in bad condition and had no sea view. He said we could stay in another room but it is a little bit more expensive. When we calculated the USD price into pesos, he told me 2000 pesos higher price than I got. It is good to calculate the price by yourself too.

At 4 am I found a cockroach on top of me . The rooms are in the middle of the restaurant. Full of fly and when I report what happened to the concierge he told me that nobody complained ever before .

Les équipements sont tout à fait corrects, il y a des ventilateurs et l'air conditionné. Un petit plateau de bienvenue est offert, comprenant de l'eau, du jus de fruits, du lait, des chips, du café... Personnel agréable et sympathique prêt à rendre service.

Vuile ramen,glazen douchescherm was vies, alles in badkamer hing los (gebrek aan onderhoud) , gasfornuis werkte maar half,geen lucifers, slechts 1 koffie tas aanwezig., kookpan verroest,geen licht op terras (lamp defect)... en kakkerlak onder bed.

È stata scelta perché su Booking riportava la presenza di una lavatrice ma non c’era, un po’ rumoroso e il terrazzo del monolocale affacciava sul ristorante. Una sera siamo uscite e siamo tornate un po’ tardi, è stato molto difficile entrare perché chiudevamo i cancelli. La pulizia non è il massimo. La connessione Internet del Wi-Fi ti permetteva di avere disponibile solo whatsapp e i social tutto il resto no. Qualità-prezzo per niente proporzionati.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé au centre de Bayahibe, à proximité immédiate des départs pour Saona, mais aussi d’une petite épicerie et de restaurants. Le quartier est très agréable : c’est un village paisible en journée et le soir, une fois les touristes repartis, l’ambiance est encore plus tranquille. L’appartement, situé au dernier étage, est spacieux et lumineux. Nous n’avons utilisé que deux chambres puisque nous étions trois, mais il peut facilement accueillir jusqu’à 7-8 personnes grâce à ses trois chambres et trois salles de bain indépendantes, toutes récemment rénovées. Le balcon offre une vue magnifique sur la baie, à l’ombre d’un palmier : un vrai bonheur ! La cuisine est très bien équipée (grand réfrigérateur-congélateur, four, gazinière, grille-pain, machine à café…), et même si la machine à laver de l’appartement ne fonctionnait pas durant notre séjour, le personnel a très gentiment mis à notre disposition une machine à laver et un sèche-linge à l’accueil. Leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse ont vraiment fait la différence. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée : tout le nécessaire pour bien commencer le séjour (lait, jus de fruit, chips, crackers, ananas, bananes, café, etc.). Un endroit chaleureux, pratique et accueillant que nous recommandons vivement !
Le seul petit bémol concerne les miroirs qui n’étaient pas parfaitement propres, mais c’est vraiment pour trouver un détail négatif tant nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement chaleureux et pratique !

The onsite restaurant is good, and the next one also fine. We went to Saona and Catalina islands with a private boat, organised by the restaurant staff, departing directly from the beach in front of the hotel.
In the three-bedroom apartment the terrace is not connected directly to the apartment. Sometimes problems with water and smell in the bathroom, no mosquitonets, no clothes dryer, and the upper room is only for animal lovers. However, we spent there a week, and really enjoyed it.

Make sure you have dollars cash on you, they don't accept credit card, but invite you to withdraw from the ATM in the lobby. The problem is that the ATM is giving pesos only and the exchange rate the hotel staff is adopting to calculate the room rate in pesos is a steal...

The room was super clean, cool AC, Hot water, soap/shampoo, small kitchen w/ fridge, super comfy queen bed - soft cotton bedding, great pillows, Great towels, small extras. Superb view right from the bed! My own patio. Quiet location ( sleep to sound of waves ) Friendly and Positive staff. I can't say enough + about this place - Many thanks to Edwin! You guys are all angels in my book! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Look forwrad to returning to this Charming Hostal. :-))) btw - They also have an adorable waterfront restaurant directly off the back of the hotel! The prices seemed reasonable - Bayahibe truly is a special place.
