Every detail made the stay exceptional from the clean, comfortable rooms and refreshing pool area to the incredible local food and warm, attentive hospitality from the staff. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, beautiful surroundings, and quiet relaxation away from city noise.

Nothing at all

Tzila lodge is an hidden gem, an oasis of restful delight amidst a luxury green scape and architecture sobriety. The lodge is cosy and private enough. One feels welcomed without being invaded. I travelled alone and staff was always available but also discrete at all times, allowing me to rest and chill out.

Very few to report. A few flies which is very normal due to the proximity of the lake. Still, did not annoyed me at all and I had a super pleasant week end.

They had a bachelorette party at the same day I went to celebrate my birthday in a calm atmosphere but having a big group of girls celebrating defeated my purpose. The food was not bad, but if you want to experience the “Fayoumi” food experience you have to go to other restaurants.

Die Tzila Lodge ist ein.ganz besonderes Erlebnis!! Der Style, die Ausstattung, das Personal, das Essen - wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an total wohlgefühlt, die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig! Wir wurden sofort mit frischen Drinks begrüßt und von unserem Safari-Driver abgeholt, der mit uns eine 6stündige Tour durch das Wadi el Hitan und El Rayan gemacht hat, top Auto, top Fahrkünste!! Bei der Rückkehr wurde uns frisches Obst ins Zimmer gebracht, wir waren schwimmen (es gibt gratis Badetücher beim Pool!) und bekamen ein köstliches Abendessen. Alles hat top funktioniert, Klimaanlage, Dusche, Kühlschrank, wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!!

The property is amazing with its design, cleanliness, facilities, and food. All the staff were helpful and caring. Thanks to Hager in the front office for making our stay comfortable.

Not recommended to go for a tour booked through them, I noted that not all guests treated the same with mood of transportation.

All in all we had a lovely stay, we were greeted so warmly by the staff, the room was beautiful and clean. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. We very much enjoyed the vegetarian food options provided. We had booked a suite with terrace, as it was advertised to accommodate three people.

I was a bit disappointed about the second „bed“, which was a pretty thin mattress and provided with a non-covered polyester blanket. I asked the staff whether we can please have a proper duvet for the bed, which they brought over immediately. Still the mattress was a little uncomfortable and I recommend putting a proper mattress there, when offering a suite to accommodate three people.

Le concept de l'hôtel avec des chambres réparties dans le jardin. Le charme des chambres et de l'hôtel en général, l'emplacement au centre de wtunis et ses potiers.

Le manque d'entretien des équipements, murs, coussins sales. Des travaux de rénovation sont indispensables par rapport zu prix payé La demi pension du soir consiste enbun seul plat principal, pas d'entrée ou de dessert et surtout aucun choix sur place.

I liked that there is no tv screens and no wifi in rooms because it kept with what I was looking for which is some peaceful time with family, but it may not be for everyone

Schimmel im Zimmer und nachts Kakerlaken. Suite gebucht die Aussicht war auf eine Müllhalde und klärgrube, dementsprechende gab es Mücken. Der Service ist extrem schlecht. Wartezeit auf das Frühstück und Abendessen Trotz Vorbestellung mindestens 45min. Die Getränke wurden gar nicht aufgenommen diese musste man selbst an der Bar bestellen. Bezeichnung Lodge ist nicht korrekt. Die Anlage befindet sich mitten in der Stadt, kein Blick auf den See.

Das Zimmer und die Lage waren gut. Das Hotel liegt in einem Töpferdörfchen in der Oase Fayuun.

Sehr langsamer und unaufmerksamer Service. Kaltes Wasser zum duschen. Qualität des Essens und Auswahl mangelhaft. Das Hotel ist eine Geldmaschine für den Besitzer, der es aufgebaut hat und sich dann um nichts mehr kümmert. Leider fast überall in Kairo und Ägypten. Korruption und Ausbeutung.

Lovely lodge, like a small oasis. Enough space to play badminton at the grass. Egyptian breakfast was great, dinner as well. Friendly and helpful staff.

The swimming pool was a little cold. The town is cosy but some streets look impoverished and during our evening strall it felt a little dingy (but still safe).

Hotel bonito arquitectonicamente y confortable

Hize una reserva en el booking y pague para 2 adultos y 3 niños, y cuando llegue allí me dijeron que me iban a cobrar a un niño, les enseñe mi reserva y con malas ganas no me lo cobraron, pero la cena si que las pague aparte, cuando estaba incluida en mi reserva, no queria mas confusiones.

L architecture de l hôtel très originale, la gentillesse du personnel. Le village de Tunis est très agréable, calme mais en restant animé Lit confortable, décoration minimaliste, trop peut être. Un tapis ou deux réchaufferaient l ensemble

Il faisait froid, donc pas possible de diner dehors le soir, nous avons dîné dans la chambre. Heureusement qu il y avait un petit chauffage d appoint. Mais bien sûr le staff ne peut pas maîtriser la météo 1 crochet pour suspendre les vêtements dans la salle de bain serait le bienvenu

La colazione è buona ma l'offerta continentale potrebbe essere migliorata, Ottima la cena. Comodi i letti anche se un pò duri come in genere negli alloggi nel deserto e nelle oasi. Il lodge è semplice ma ha fascino e in estate si può utilizzare anche una piccola piscina. In inverno davvero piacevole lo spazio attrezzato attorno al fuoco

Loved the layout of the property. Great location, helpful staff. A great jumping off point for heading to the desert. Lodge helped arrange activities.

Evening meal had to be sent back as the meat was not hot enough. Staff dealt with this feedback and replaced the meals.

Nice and relaxing lodge with beautiful greenery and very hospitable, helpful staff.

The half-board price felt high for the overall value. The lodge is a bit deep inside Tunis Village and requires a car to reach the center and shops. The food portions were small for the price and the quality didn’t match the menu cost. Additionally, the water heater wasn’t working well in two of the four rooms we booked.

I prezzi sono eccessivi, tutti i servizi offerti incluse escursioni ed il transfer ci sono costati più del triplo, rispetto ad altri operator e ai nostri amici che alloggiavano nei dintorni. Abbiamo speso una cifra esorbitante per 1 unico gg rispetto ad una intera settimana al Cairo! Essendo dislocato e nel deserto non avevamo alternativa alcuna se non affidarci a loro! (Es. Safari pagato 150 a persona a fronte di 20 dei nostri amici, 100 euro di transfer solo andata al Cairo a fronte di 30 pagati con Uber, e potrei continuare all’infinito) Mi dispiace molto!

L'ambiance constructions locales en bois et terre nous a convaincu pour la réservation. Les constructions et jardins sont sympathiques

Les chambres ont deux lits de 90cm posés sur dalles impossible de les rapprocher. Pas super pour les couples. Les services sont inexistants ou hyper longs. A l'accueil la fille ne parle pas anglais pas français... elle traduit avec son téléphone et ne comprends pas grand chose. Les repas et petits-déjeuners sont très moyens. Il faut choisir la veille, son plat et son horaire. Nous avons eu un supplément pour avoir demandé du pain et de l'eau en plus au petits-déjeuners...... alors que nous avons pris le repas du 31 décembre déjà pré-payé, dans un autre hôtel plus festif. Il n'y a pas de wifi dans les chambres ni sur les lieux de repas, il faut monter sur un toit ??? Bref très déçus des prestations et du manque d'implication du personnel pour le prix. On se croirait dans un camping plus que dans un hôtel !

The restaurant so bad food

The place and location is good.

Dining is outdoors, which can be very cold in winter and may affect the overall experience. The staff is cold and not very pleasant. You have to ask for everything several times, and they never offer solutions. Muesli and dried fruits were not available at breakfast. We were only served a yogurt and had to go back and ask for something else to put in it - nothing was suggested. The rooms we were given did not look like the pictures of the Suite with terrace and felt significantly smaller. Food is not the best and arrives cold.

Nous avons pris 2 chambres. Le site magnifique et l architecture des lieux très soigné. Une des 2 chambres était de niveau supérieur et bien spacieuse. Au calme, le lodge est idéalement situé pour une sortie désert

La maintenance est assez moyenne avec des raccords un peu partout, des peintures et crépis pas entretenu . C est dommage car ce lieu mérite mieux. L équipe assez pléthorique en nombre n est pas forcément efficace ou vraiment à la tâche. Je passe la nécessité de pré commandé les repas pour servir des pâtes !!! Je pense néanmoins que c est l un des meilleurs lieu du village pour séjourner mais vous devrez modérer vos prétentions .
