Excellent location for where we needed to go. Super comfortable bed. Superb breakfast. Hosts very welcoming. Great Wifi. Lots of parking.
Very clean & tidy, great hotel
The front bedroom that we stayed in was so noisy from the traffic all night long, especially lorry’s going past. Yes we could see that the hotel was near a road but it looked like a pretty quiet location & no other reviews mentioned this so assume the other dooms further away don’t get affected by this.
Breakfast, room
Nothing
We were attending a wedding in Durrow castle and Ashbrook Arms Town house was ideal. We stayed in a room in the converted stables. It was large, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful despite being short staffed and very busy.
Beautiful old house that has been renovated to perfection. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely big room, soft, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. The full Irish breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would have loved to have stayed longer.
Style, comfort, cleanliness staff. Outlook from breakfast room etc.
Nice and quiet
Breakfast was fantastic and the view of the gardens from the breakfast room was fabulous

We were absolutely shocked in the best possible way! This accommodation was incredible - comfortable, central in this beautiful small town, so welcoming and hospitable. Rozeita is an incredible host and we loved our time. We wished we’d booked longer!
Beautiful spacious room and lovely hotel

The breakfast was theonly reason I didn't give 10 out of 10. There was nothing wrong with it but I've had better. The meat ws a bit dry and the choice was limited. That's me being very fussy.
The welcome from Daniel was so lovely and friendly and all my info was given to me,noting left out for me to ask about.it felt so warm and inviting from moment I stepped threw door to my parting .it's location perfect across from bobs pub to stroll to castle and food just walk up road to castle arms . Beds so comfy and clean and with charator. Very peaceful sleep and peace of mind as I slept . Lively secure car park and breakfast top noch. Will defo stop here again. Lovely people and perfect town for lovely weekend away.
There was noting I could fault .
Breakfast was lovely cooked fresh and served hot
Can’t think of anything
Everything was great, 😃
Nulla
So welcoming from check-in. Room was very large with all amenities required for our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
Breakfast was fine. Would be good to have options such as mushrooms. Not sure why there was no fruit for breakfast on Saturday.
Would have been good to have a lounge for guests and an armchair in the bedroom.
Limited parking
We attended a wedding in the castle and everything was close to the hotel
Very efficient and friendly lady who looked after us.
Had impression bar/restaurant wd be open but perhaps it's not on a Thursday.
The location was spot on. The lady at reception couldn't do enough for us even facilitating an earlier check in as we attended a wedding. Highly recommend
Very convenient location for the wedding we were attending in Castle Durrow. Surprisingly large and spacious rooms for the price. The breakfast was lovely, as were the staff. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Nothing to dislike.
Warm welcome like we were friends staying for the night. Lovely spacious room.
All good.
Ground floor lodge was amazing
The Ashbrook Arms is superb - easily one of the best places I've stayed in in Ireland. The service was efficient and helpful (even in the midst of a busy weekend), the room we stayed in was just lovely, with loads of space and beautifully furnished, and breakfast is excellent. Even though it is right on the main road, there was no sense of traffic noise or other disturbance. We woke refreshed after a great night's sleep, ready to explore the nearby castle and woodlands. Would definitely recommend - we'll be back!
Stayed in the forge apartment at the back of property, Great space well laid out and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

Great location for wedding attending in castle durrow
Shower pressure wasn’t great but not an issue really
Durrow is a lovely town with a historical centre along the river. The staff were excellent and found room for us in the restaurant despite not arriving until 8. The food and service was excellent. We had a dog and two couples so we were placed in the courtyard. This was fabulous as we had a lounge area to be together in.
We couldn’t get the showers to work properly (water temp) but we didn’t report this and if we’d asked I’m Sure they’d have sorted it out for us. The furniture and fittings were high quality.
I highly recommend staying here. Very clean and hygienic. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had asked for an early check in and they checked us in before noon. The beds were comfortable and it was a perfect location - right beside Castle Durrow and only minutes from Abbeyleix.

Lovely spacious room friendly people excpitional standard
Two far away to concert
Great location. Very close to the Castle Durrow hotel. Lady staff member very nice she gave us a phone charger as we forgot ours. Room was spacious.
Breakfast was quite expensive at 25 euro per person. We ate elsewhere and got it way cheaper.
Really spacious and comfortable room
I can't say enough good things, the location, food, room, beds were all amazing. Rosita went above and beyond for us, the staff are fantastic, I highly recommend the Ashbrook and we will definitely be back
Absolutely nothing, it was perfect
