Great location, lovely grounds and pool, good massage, helpful staff.

Bathroom a bit scruffy with some outstanding maintenance, floor wet from shower with one small bathmat supplied. Breakfast was adequate.

The property was in the perfect location. Staff were supper friendly and willing to help and they go above and beyond for special occasions. We also got massages in their spa which were 10/10.

Calm and quiet feel. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to look after every need. They upgraded our room, bed was huge and very comfortable. Location was in the heart of Ubud, but once you walked into the resort you didnt hear any noise. Just perfect.

The property is located in a very quiet and peaceful location. The massages at the day spa were excellent, the breakfast was lovely and the setting beside the pool was beautiful, all of the staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

The only negative was the hard mattress on the bed which nadir it difficult to sleep.

Our room on the top floor I had a great view and was very comfortable. The breakfast dining area and the pool was a wonderful space and a breakfast were delicious. It was very quiet, which was amazing as we were in a busy noisy street. Lots of restaurants nearby. Enjoyed my yoga session very much.

Dewangga Ubud has a relaxed authentic Bali feel. We are repeat stayers and will continue to be. As you step off the street into Dewangga you are in a wonderful relaxed accommodation venue which is full of kindness and serenity. The grounds here are natural and the staff are the best you could ever find as they are both professional and full of genuine kindness. We absolutely love Dewangga and how accommodating they are. There is also a wonderful driver Ketut that you can book to take you to the airport which takes out any stress to get you there on time.

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, and this continued throughout our entire stay. We genuinely had such a great time here. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Ubud, while the hotel itself is peaceful and has a beautiful authentic Balinese atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were amazing, and everything was simply perfect. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Bali!

It was very loud at night due to bars around. I had to sleep in earplugs.

This place is so relaxing. The grounds are so peaceful you can barely hear the noise outside. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff can’t do enough for you, they are so helpful and always smiling The pool is beautiful and clean. I would definitely recommend to family and friends

This location of this property is ideal. Great authentic traditional Ubud vibes with all the modern comforts. The gardens are beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable with your every need catered for. Beds are very comfortable and the staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly and communication is prompt and easy. The property owned by Ubud traditional people and will remain that way. The manager also greets you, ensuring you had best experience. The pool is amazing. I will definitely visit again.

The food quality could possibly improve a little. If your mobility is limited be aware Ubud has many steps and can be steep. This is not fault to the property as most Ubud is much the same. Dewangga was happy to cater for ground floor accommodation for me with no trouble. Just something to be aware of in Bali.

First of all, the amazing staff! We were actually sad to leave the hotel because the hospitality of the staff was on another level! Very central location in Ubud. Close to everything. The room was really nice with the little balcony. The hotel staff also helped us book a driver. I would definitely stay there again.

The shower has only has a ‘rain head’ and it’s not that comfortable.

Bfast was good, location was convenient and nice and the staff was super welcoming and accommodating. The bed was comfortable as well.

The dinner menu and the quality was kinda disappointing. Not a lot of choices. The bathroom design was absolutely nonsense: window overlooking the bedroom and if you close the curtain and the shower curtain the shower is completely dark. No space to put any toiletries in the bathroom or hang clothes. There is no separate switch for fan and light and the fan was super noisy.

Really friendly staff. Location amazing, close to the beach and next to a great dive centre. Delicious breakfast, very generous. Spacious room.

Oase der Ruhe mitten im trubeligen Ubud – absolut empfehlenswert! Eine traumhafte Anlage mitten im lebendigen Ubud! Von der Straße aus vermutet man gar nicht, was für eine wunderschöne, ruhige Oase sich im hinteren Bereich versteckt. Von dem Trubel der Straße bekommt man nichts mit. Lediglich ein Affe hat uns in einer Nacht etwas Schlaf gerauft als er immer wieder über unser Dach gelaufen ist und an irgendetwas rumgeklappert hat. Wir waren im Rahmen einer Rundreise für zwei Nächte hier und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal: Es ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um Ubud zu erkunden, ohne täglich stundenlang im Stau zu stehen. Das Besondere war, dass wir alles, was uns interessierte, bequem zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Auch auf dem An- und Abreiseweg haben wir direkt viele tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Ubud besucht. Das Frühstück in der Unterkunft war sehr gut und bot einen tollen Start in den Tag. Für das Mittag- und Abendessen haben wir die umliegenden Warungs besucht, was ebenfalls eine super Wahl war. Das Hotelpersonal war durchweg äußerst freundlich, herzlich und sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

La struttura è veramente bella; molto vicina al mercato e alla monkey forest, ti permette di immergerti in un ambiente rilassato e piacevole, e di godere a pieno lo stile Balinese.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we were always welcomed with a smile. The rooms were amazing, so clean and big, we enjoyed at massage at the spa and the location couldn’t be better.

Das Hotel bzw die gesamte Anlange ist eine kleine Oase. Man hat das Gefühl, dass man mitten im Paradies schläft und es ist einfach toll! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück ist vielfältig und lecker!

The location is perfect. Right in the middle of Ubud. Yet the hotel is a beautiful calm oasis. The service from the manager and her team is outstanding. The pool and gardens are all beautiful. And we loved the free activities - painting and yoga - that the hotel put on.

Absolutely nothing. If we are in Ubud again we will stay here without a doubt.

Dewangga Ubud is in a fantastic location, with a beautiful garden setting. It felt like a piece of "old Bali". The bedroom was spacious and the large bed was very comfortable. I slept well as I felt welcomed and safe.

My room was upstairs and the stairs were of different heights. This was difficult for me, although a younger or fitter person would have no trouble. If you may have the same difficulty, make sure you ask for a ground floor room. The cost did not include breakfast and I was surprised.

Good central location and interesting traditional style buildings

We passed from the traffic-challenged centre of UBUD to a wonderful calm, welcoming hotel, with the sound of a waterfall alongside. The staff were fantastic, calling us by name which made the experience even more personable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with effective aircon, good wifi and some lovely extra details such as fruit and gentle mosquito spray to help guests. The restaurant is beside the pool and breakfast could be ordered a la carte, alongside fruits, tea, coffee and toast. There were some extra features such as a walk around the rice fields, and complementary afternoon tea. A lovely experience!

La posizione era perfetta, i giardini che circondano l’hotel erano curatissimi e bellissimi. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile, sempre disponibile ad aiutarci con qualsiasi domanda o problema.

Al momento della prenotazione su Booking non era indicato che il resort fosse diviso in una zona nuova e una zona più datata. Le camere della parte nuova sono decisamente più moderne. A noi è stata assegnata una piccola villa che purtroppo aveva un forte odore di muffa e di umidità. Nonostante il personale abbia cercato di pulirla, l’odore non è mai andato via e si è impregnato perfino nei nostri vestiti. Inoltre, la camera era disposta su due livelli: il letto si trovava al piano superiore, mentre il bagno era al piano inferiore. Con una bambina piccola, dover scendere di notte per le scale, piuttosto ripide, per andare in bagno è stato davvero scomodo e poco pratico.

Location was perfect, quiet oasis in the middle of Ubud. Fantastic walking through the grounds and feeling removed from the town outside. The breakfast was fantastic too, much better than the standard breakfast buffet.

A keycard would have been slightly easier to carry, but not a huge issue.

Le camere hanno arredi un po' vecchi e sarebbero da rimodernare. La colazione non è a buffet.

ホテルに一歩入ると緑に囲まれた静かな癒しの空間です。庭もとても良く手入れをされています。バンガロー が点在するのでホテルより奥行きがあるイメージです。王宮に夜のバリ舞踊を見に行くのも徒歩圏内で良かった。おもてなしの心が随所に感じられとても居心地のいいホテルでした。また来たいホテルです。

利用時間によりシャワーの温度が少し下がることがありました。

Wspaniały ogród, bardzo dobra lokalizacja w samym centrum Ubud, ale w ogóle nie słychać hałasów z ulicy. Bardzo dobre śniadania.

Mam mieszane odczucia, ponieważ zakwaterowano nas w najdalej położonym domku, który okazał się stary, z zaniedbaną i brudną łazienką. Na szczęście, po mojej interwencji, następnego dnia przeniesiono nas bliżej basenu. Gdyby nie to, pobyt byłby fantastyczny.

Dewangga is central Ubud and the minute you walk through the gate, the bustle and noise simply fades away to the sound of the river and water features in the magnificent immaculately kept gardens. Truly beautiful and infinitely peaceful 🙏🏽

Perhaps some dairy alternatives for coffee in the mornings.

The renovated room was fantastic! The toilet did stop working at one point but the lady at the front desk fixed it late at night immediately … she deserves a raise. Would have been so good to have this room from the beginning, make sure you confirm a renovated room. I’ll put pics of the first room and then the second for comparison. If we had the renovated room we’d stay there again.

When we arrived we were given an old room. The traditional style looked great from the outside but the bathroom was beyond ‘rustic’, smelt bad and was mouldy and unclean. It also had two levels so going to the bathroom downstairs in the night wasn’t great. The photos online only show the renovated bathrooms. I asked to change rooms and they obliged but we had to stay one night in the old room. It was like night and day. We wished we didn’t have to spend the first 24hours of our three night stay trying to get into a room that looked like the pictures. You will be very happy if you are in these lovely new rooms.

Estivemos no hotel com um grupo de 8 mulheres e foi simplesmente maravilhoso em todos os aspectos. Os quartos são muito limpos, bonitos e confortáveis. A área do hotel é super relaxante e silenciosa e está bem no coração de ubud. A equipe é encantadora, o café da manhã uma delícia, enfim, foi uma excelente escolha e com certeza retornaremos.
