Staff was very helpful. Good location.
The range for the wifi within the room needs to be enlarged. Price for laundry was alot.
It is a beautiful riad in the middle of the old medina, the staff was very friendly & helpful, the AC worked well, and breakfast was good.
It would be helpful if the curtains for the windows in the room weren’t see-through. Everything else was great though!
Friendly and helpful staff. Authentic Moroccan property. Great value breakfast. Staff helped with all needs.
Shower location in bathroom slightly inconvenient.
Had the best time ever!
The place decor and location were exceptional, what made it better is the service. Omar our host was kind and approached and very helpful to all of our questions. I would definitely stay there again.
Excellent service from all the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and the Riad is in a fabulous location to access the Medina. Comfortable beds and a large shower all made for a very enjoyable stay.
Nothing but be aware the Riad is not accessible by car or taxi however the staff will help you on arrival.
Very good breakfast. The staff was really good and super nice. The extra touch of moving us to a better room was stellar. The rooftop is also amazing.
The internet connection in some of the rooms isn't so good.
The experience being in a riad is extra special. Rayhana is located in the medina. Which makes it feel even more authentic. The charming decor are just as charming as the staff. Omar was extra helpful and made sure we were feeling comfortable wandering on our own in the madina. Making us feel at home. I would recommend the Rayhana for an authentic Fes experience.
That they didn't have more dining options in the riad. A late afternoon snack or dinner would be great. Would be nice to stay in and relax staying in for a meal to make it easy. I'm happy they have breakfast.
Authentic stay in the medina with coloured glass. Friendly host who liked to talk about the history of the town.
It´s hard to find the front door in the medina. You really have to be alert where you stay.
La excelente atencion Omar
Very nice Riad. The rooms could be renovated. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The location is conveniently close to everything in the Medina.
We arrived quite late with kids, feeling hungry and dusty. Unfortunately, the riad didn’t offer any water as a welcome. We had to wait a long time before we could go up to our room. In the bathroom, there was no cold water, so you had to use it quickly before it got too hot to handle.
Great location close to everything in the middle if the Medina but quiet - adorable staff, sincere and kind, and especially great with children, who made us feel immediately at home - spacious room with nice decor - delicious breakfast! - cute terrace with a nice view of the Medina
It’s the same with all the riads, but the guets all eat in the lobby in the middle, so we hear others speak. If there is a big group of people staying at the same time and eating early, you hear them.m - mind your head going up the staircase - the mezzanine staircase inside of the family room quite narrow, which may be a challenge for persons of reduced mobility or a large size - good water pressure with plenty of hot water, but the bathroom unavoidably gets wet, by design :-) and the shower nozzle a bit difficult to keep in place - a very minor issue - as other places, best to pay by cash - and they advise you so - as the card f/x a bit random designated by their bank
Very nice and clean hotel with delicious breakfast and comfortable beds
Difficult to find, like most places in the medina The shower didn't always have enough water pressure
We have a great stay at this Riad. It just right next to the Main Street. Very handy! The staff (Omar and Hansan) are super friendly and helpful. We were so happy to stay in this Riad. At the beginning we booked the room which is actually located on the roof that we didn't notice on the booking. But since I am pregnant which was actually not so convenience for me, the staff are super kind to offer us an upgrade to another room on the ground floor. The breakfast are also very rich and full. Even on the last day we need to leave early, they are very kind prepared us a take away breakfast.
The room at the ground floor is a bit cold due to the building climate. The toilet is a bit small, the floor would be flood and everything got wet after the shower. And we miss a kettle in the room. But the staff are very kind to bring us some thee if we asked.
Location is good, breakfast is excellent
1. Do not take comfort triple room, The room was very bad. Low sealing with not enough light. After you take a shower, water stays on the bathroom floor for hours. We had to buy rubber flip-flops in order to go to the toilet after taking a shower. Other rooms are way better and renovated, . 2. Hotel staff has a deal with an overpriced restaurant in medina, They might try to send you there, they might even manage to get a person to take you there. Check restaurant reviews before you go.
Excellent location right in the middle of the medina. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.
Nothing
Good breakfast. Fantastic location. Omar, Hassan and Ishan were wonderful. Omar in particular helped me arrange a tour, laundry, and made many helpful recommendations. The riad is beautiful and the roof terrace has a great view.
The room needs a suitcase stand and a night table for guests to place items. The stairs are pretty steep but the handrails are strong.
The position, the breakfast and the staff!
We liked everything!
First and foremost, the staff (Omar and Hassan) are exceptional. Omar was very patient and helpful during our booking process and check in. He welcomed us with mint tea and pastries. Hassan guided us from Hotel Batha into the Medina to the riad, gave us directions about the Medina, and served a heavenly breakfast. Both of them are extremely courteous and pleasant. The riad itself is decorated nicely. It's a short distance from the blue gate, reachable via a quite straight forward route. Omar booked a local guide for me to tour the Fes Medina for half day. Our guide Mohammed worked out really well.
Nothing.
The room was very beautiful, spacious and clean. The people that work in the hotel helped us with everything we wanted. The location is perfect.

Stayed two nights in December 2024 in the Deluxe Junior Suite. What a GORGEOUS building. My room was huge, with a queen four-poster bed and two twin beds and about 20' high ceilings. The door was stained glass, as were the internal windows. They provided curtains for the door and windows, which is necessary especially because this room is on the ground floor adjacent to the communal lounges. The bathroom was absolutely stunning, all tile. The rooftop terrace was enormous Omar and Hassan were excellent hosts, very attentive and helpful. Omar arranged for my dinner at a local restaurant, which was the most beautiful restaurant I have ever dined in. He also arranged for an escort to and from the restaurant so that I wouldn't get lost. Breakfast was delicious but far too much food for one person! This was my only problem as a solo traveler, but I had that problem everywhere. Too much food! Eggs, crepes, yogurt, soup, pancake with bananas, harcha, bread, dates, olives, plus OJ, coffee, and tea.
This isn't a problem with Rayhana, but with Fes in general. Because Fes' water supply is from mineral springs, there is a smell in the bathrooms or anywhere connected to the water. Showering comes with a smell, but it doesn't linger on you afterwards, so it's fine.
Clean, comfortable accommodation. Very attentive and helpful staff (particularly Hassan), we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.
Hosts were lovely and helped navigate us from the parking to the road via WhatsApp video. They offered to meet us at the parking as Fes can be tricky to navigate but we were so late and even though they were still wanting to meet us, we decided to start walking but instantly got lost. You can rely on the hosts here to make sure you arrive easily and safely. The style and charm was beautiful. Welcome tea on arrival. Great experience overall.
The hospitality we experience was unforgettable!!
Excellent staff
Our favorit place so far in Fes! We loved everything there - 100% recommended!!
All staff were super friendly and happy to help with any questions and our organisation on site
Good staff, great views from the terrace.
Not as grand as expected, hard to find.
:)
wonderful staff and great Riad :D:D
I highly recommend it for an unforgettable experience!
The Riad is really amazing inside and very good and delicious breakfast.Omar was very helpful and friendly.. Thank you so much for your hospitality in Fes
I had the pleasure of staying at Riad Rayhana in Fes, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful Riad with Traditional Moroccan Charm The riad itself is a beautiful blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern comfort. The rooms are tastefully decorated with stunning woodwork, intricate tile designs, and cozy furnishings. The peaceful ambiance made it a perfect place to unwind after exploring the busy streets of Fes. Outstanding Service What truly sets Riad Rayhana apart is the exceptional service. Hicham and Hassan were always attentive, friendly, and eager to help. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants and made sure all our needs were met during our stay. Great Location The riad is ideally located within the Fes Medina, making it a perfect base for exploring the historic city. Despite being nestled in the heart of the lively medina, the riad offered a calm and relaxing retreat. Everything, from the historic sites to the vibrant souks, was easily accessible. Delicious Breakfast Each morning, I enjoyed a traditional Moroccan breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. Fresh pastries, fruits, and local specialties were served in the riad’s lovely courtyard, adding to the overall experience. Overall, my stay at Riad Rayhana was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fes, as it offers a perfect blend of comfort, traditional charm, and excellent service. I look forward to returning in the future!
We had an incredible stay at riad Rayhana! The atmosphere was serene and beautifully decorated, offering the perfect blend of tradition and comfort. What truly made our experience special was the exceptional hospitality. We arrived very late at night, and not only did the host Omar help us find a parking spot, but he also personally joined us and guided us through the maze-like streets of the medina to find the riad. It was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a variety of fresh, flavorful dishes that gave us the perfect start to the day. I highly recommend this riad for its amazing service and welcoming atmosphere!
Exotic hotel. Beautiful common area, Omar and Hassan were very attentive and friendly. Omar met us by the Medina gates to show the way to the Riad. Quiet place in the middle of Medina, located in the small alley. Nice view from the terrace . Excellent breakfast.
The room and bathroom are small, it has charm and decor, but not comfort. ok for a one night stay. Steep, narrow stairs
Omar and his team were very friendly and helped us with everything during our stay. Breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. Very nice accomodations, everything as in the pictures. Very well located in the medina, everything in walking distance. They even provided a map for the medina. Would definitely recommend, we had a great stay!
Friendly Riad in the old Medina, easy to find. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, Omar and Hassan were so helpful on arrival and checkout. There laundry service was great too
Nothing
Omar and their colleagues are exceptional workers. They were very helpful during our stay! Thank you for everything!!!
Such a Fabulous Riad, firstly the communication with host Omar before we even arrived was fantastic. As we were driving to Fez, Omar arranged to meet us so that he could help us park the car in a safe garage, then helped us with our luggage to the Riad. Our rooms in the Riad were extremely comfortable and a great bed , and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. Omar helped us by booking restaurants and guided tours which were highlights of our stay in Fez. We loved staying at the Riad Rayhana and we absolutely recommend this place if you’re considering going to Fez.
Nothing we loved it
Everything. Beautiful riad on a small side street just off the main street. Omar and Hassan were brilliant hosts. Excellent breakfast. Best riad we stayed in during our trip to Morocco.
Great staff! Very nice property!
The WiFi didn’t really work on the top floor where our room was located!
We had a lovely stay at this Riad. The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. The Riad itself is very beautiful.
very kind staff, especially Omar. loved our stay, would recommend to everyone
Mohammed went out of his way to accommodate me. He reacted promptly to messages and waited late at night for me to check in.
Very helpful staff, great location close to the Main Street and not far from the blue gate. Staff gave great guidance for exploring the medina and also greeted us at the taxi to walk to the Riad. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!
The sink faucet was pretty loose, but mostly everything was great!
Really good service, good breakfast.
Everything else
Our room was on the ground floor and everyone passes by your windows. The drain of the shower was clogged.
All the facilities in the Riad Rayhana on a high level. The location was just perfect to not to get lost. But even if you do so, Omar who works there will bring you back “home”;) About the reception and the personnel: I could not ask for more. Everybody was extremely nice and always there for me. I would like to highlight the person of Omar who made my stay really special. Thank you so much to All of you! Choukra!!🙏see you next time, Bea
All was just perfect.
The location, the price, the breakfast, and the wonderful staff.
No TV and no kettle in the room.
The breakfast was really good, all the guys have been very nice. The room was small, but beautiful.
Nothing. There’s the normal background noise of a Riad.
Very close to a lot of shops and food places. Lovely staff members and very helpful. Very nice family room. Aircon available
Only downfall was that there was no tv
Omar, de host en owner of the riad, was really kind and helpfull.
Nothing.
A truly beautiful building, spotlessless clean, bed made up every day, three extremely friendly and helpful gentlemen available at all times and taking good care of you, huge and varied breakfast, perfect location just off the main street of the madina close to the blue gate, And very good value for money.
Nothing. Of course, there are the limitations that come with such a historical building like absence of windows. But there is nothing else.
Nice room and in a central location, just have to go down a couple of allies from the Main Street
Nice rooms, friendly staff and convent location
Nothing
Everything was great: building was beautiful, location amazing and staff super kind and helpful. We had a small health issue and staff did their best to help us and address our needs!
Best property in fez. Never met a host like Omar.
everything was perfect
Our host Omar is gracious and accommodating. The Riad is centrally located, yet quiet.
The cell phone signal may be blocked in the Medina, and one can easily get lost. So have a plan of how to get there and try to check in before dark.
Beautiful and charming place. Very well located, right close to the Main Street at Old Medina and to the Blue Gate. Wonderful staff, Omar was so nice to prepare an early breakfast because of my trip.
X
The riad is beautiful. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing and they did their best to cater for different dietary requirements. The place was very clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the medina.
Great location, awesome staff, good breakfast, great value for money
The sumptuous decor, good breakfast and wonderful staff
More room for luggage would have been good.
Excellent value for money - prime location, spacious room, fabulous breakfast, hospitabel staff
Only thing to be improved is to extend breakfast to 10:30am
A calm and well decorated Riad set in the heart of the Medina, a short walk from the Blue Gate. The Host Omar communicated with me through out the day of my arrival. We arrived with our 3 kids and he sent us one of his staff to help us park in a garage outside the Medina gate and escorted us to the Riad. Upon entering the Riad it was like seeing a family member. omar was kind, warm and offered a nice tea and pastries. Check in process was quick and Omar recommended a restaurant for dinner and since we were tired he asked if the restaurant would send someone to escort there and back. After coming back from Dinner we were greeted by Hicham. Hicham was a class act and a model of what true Moroccan hospitality is. Hicham was genuine, warm and super welcoming. Him And Omar had a wonderful table set for us for breakfast which was abundant and the superb service by Hicham and Omar made the experience so wonderful. We will definitely come back. Thank u
I wish they had dinner service in their nice terrace looking over the old Medina.
Very beautiful riad, and Omar is really the greatest host. He received us with some nice morrocan tea, and all the precious advices he could give us to have the best experience possible. He was also very nice picking us up and helping us with the bags. The breakfast was really good and the location was the best possible.
Everything was perfect.
Beautiful Riad, great Location, amazing staff.
The shower was a bit quirky. You had to step up quite a bit to use it, so a little dangerous to use. I’ve learned A riad is not a silent or completely quiet place as there are no real walls, so you can hear other people. The fact that it felt less private, was less attractive overall.
Its history and decoration.
The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the bedsheets seemed old. The guy at the reception kept telling us that we were going to get lost, it seems he just wanted to sell us the private guide.
Service was excellent and the staff was always ready to help, bed was really comfortable and clean, breakfast was tasty and big in size. The surroundings are very silent and yet in the heart of the medina. The architecture of the place was also a real gem to enjoy :)
Shower (some of the water didn't flow down because of the angle of the floor); having a table where we could put our belongings would be nice (there was a hanging rack but whatever we didn't hang didn't have a place).
The food was good. The people were helpful. The room and accommodations were ok. It was value for money.
The Riad is in the heart of the Souk but finding it was challenging. The Riad itself was clean but everything around was dirty.
We really loved the location of the Riad, it’s right in the centre of the medina off one of the principal streets. The Riad is beautiful, the photos are an accurate depiction of the lovely tiles in the lobby area. The staff were very friendly and always on hand to help, they made up takeaway breakfasts when we needed to get away early. The staff gave us lots of information about Fes. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The roof terrace and view is wonderful! Great value for money.
The bathroom is a wet room but the drain isn’t very good (or perhaps the angle of the flooring isn’t correct) - meaning the bathroom floor is always quite wet. Wi-Fi could be a little patchy in the room, but worked well elsewhere.
Clean and perfect staff ! The location near the bleu Gate , i recommed 100% thanks for everything.
The hotel staff was great. The welcome with tea, explanation of local attractions, and offer to reach out for anything - these seem to be fairly standard at smaller accommodations like this in this part of the world. However, Omar's seemed much more genuine. He was very responsive on WhatsApp, and always available at the property when I needed something. He seems like a truly hardworking, welcoming guy - not an act to try to get a commission or positive review. Breakfast was served restaurant-style - they bring out dishes to each individual table. Bed was very comfortable. Power strip, AC, hair dryer, shampoo and hanging hooks/racks were all available. WiFi was stable. Location is hidden in the medina near the clock tower.
Bathroom was musty (no circulation) and small. The floor sloped such that shower water did not drain - even the next day, there was a big pool of water in the middle of the bathroom. This might've just been my room, though. The window in my room didn't shut closed, so earplugs might be a good idea. Typical of older buildings in the area, the stairs are uneven and some doorways/ceilings low. It is not their fault, but if you have accessibility/mobility concerns, you would be best served by a standard hotel.
Very hospitable and beautiful interior to the Riad. Nice rooftop!
WiFi was very slow throughout the property and often dropped off Shower was too short, had to crouch to not hit the ceiling with our heads
Omar was a really nice and extremely friendly host, he even helped us out when we had an accident with our car. He was really helpful and provided us with lots of information about Fès. Great breakfast. All in all it was a really good and very personal service in this riad. Rooms were nice clean.
Staff were amazing - super helpful and friendly
Staff super friendly and helpful, they worked hard even though it was Ramadan and Eid. Beds were comfortable. They had a baby bed, which was very convenient. Place was very beautiful.
The room was a bit stuffy, needed a little more ventilation. Food was ok.
We loved everything about the property! The location, facilities, food, comfort and especially the staff!
We were served tea and cookies on arrival, the staff member was very informative, hotel has a nice decor, we were able to borrow an umbrella from the hotel when needed, the location was very central
It was very difficult to find the hotel as the GPS indicated a different spot next to the main street when in fact the hotel is in a small side alley. Our room was right next to the reception/dining room which meant it was not very private and quite loud for us, the shower was divided from the rest of the bathroom floor in such an unfortunate way that after taking a shower most of the floor was wet, which made it uncomfortable to then use the toilet or the sink. There was no space to hang the towels to dry.
great location and breakfast, clean and tidy and amazing and helpful staff
not much really
