Dead Sea Sun Guest House

We had a perfect stay at the 'Dead Sea Guest House' as a base for our dead sea trip! We were supposed to arrive a couple of days earlier but got sick, and the owner accommodated a last-minute change of days free of charge. The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including kitchen supplies and even a toster oven. We really enjoyed the yard where we had breakfast and dinner daily. We will definately stay there again when visiting the dead sea.

אהבנו את הצימר, את החצר הצמודה, את הניקיון, את האיבזור והגימור של החדר. בעל בית מקסים. מאד נהננו. ממליצים.

We had a deluxe room which was just delightful with a kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom. The air conditioning was delightful and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very receptive to our requests. Well we didn't make much use of it. There are tables and chairs and many places for relaxing outside of each unit. It is located on a quiet side street with lovely views.

Все. Приятное тихое место. Всё чисто и красиво. Были в конце мая и в комнате было прохладно и мы не включали кондиционер ни разу. Всегда была горячая вода. Хозяин сразу отвечал на наши запросы. Подробнее описал как приехать. Комната была готова раньше в 12 вместо 15 и нам оазрешили выехать позднее. Есть общий мангал. И все принадлежности к барбекю.

Wir hatten das billigere Apartment gebucht, aber unser Gastgeber hat uns nach der ersten Nacht ein kostenloses Upgrade für das größere und schönere Apartment gegeben. Die Wohnungen sind sehr sauber und beinhalten alles was man braucht. Verschiedene schöne Sitzbereiche laden zum Verweilen im Garten ein. Das Haus steht am Hang, dadurch kommt abends ein kühler, angenehmer Wind. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, er gab uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Wir können dieses Gästehaus sehr empfehlen!

Нам очень понравилось, у нас было 2 соседних комнаты, было чисто, все необходимое было в номерах. Очень отзывчивые хозяева, разрешили выехать позже без доплаты. Единственный минус - не очень удобный мангал, но это мелочи. В целом очень довольны, с удовольствием вернёмся снова

We had an amazing stay. The place has a pretty patio with a view to the desert. The check-in and check-out were self-service, and the road instructions were clear. The hosts did get in direct and personal touch and offered help with whatever we needed. The room has a well equipped kitchen, which isn't trivial compared to other stays I had in the area. Thank you Arkadi and Tanya!

מקום מקסים. ארקדי נחמד ממש. נתן לנו הרבה מידע על האיזור, פעילויות, אוכל וטיולים.

המקום נחמד מאוד, נקי ומסודר, פונקציונלי ומאובזר בכל מה שצריך לשהייה, ממש כמו בבית. קרוב למצדה ולמסלולי טיול באזור בעלי הבית נענו לכל בקשה שלנו. מומלץ מאוד.

מטרת הביקור הייתה להיות קרובים לכפר הנוקדים ולכן מיקום הדירה היה מעולה (10 דק מכפר הנוקדים) הדירה הייתה נקייה לגמרי והמיטה די נוחה, אבל... היה ריח ביוב מהשירותים, לא היה לחץ מים במקלחת כמעט בכלל והיה צורך לחכות למים החמים כמה דקות טובות ! אז מצד אחד המקום זול ובגדול יש כמה דברים חיוביים מבחינת המיקום והניקיון, מצד שני ציפיתי ליותר בדברים הבסיסיים כמו לחץ המים באמבטיה ושלא יהיה ריח רע מהביוב בנוסף לזה... ביקשנו אם ניתן להביא לנו עוד מגבות וציפות ואם אפשר גם חלב כי שכחנו להביא בשביל הקפה ולגיטימי להשיב בשלילה, כי החלב לא אמור להיות כלול, אבל אפשר במקום להשיב בצורה לקונית ויבשה לא! להגיד שמצטערים אבל לא ניתן או משהו כזה, למרות שאני סוברת שלהביא חלב זה לא לקפוץ מעל הפופיק וזה חלק מהשירות הטוב ללקוח, מה עוד שלא התלוננו על כלום והיה על מה, אדגיש כי מגבות וציפות הביאו לנו

הריח בחדר לא היה ממש נוח. מגבות ישנות. לא היה קפה שחור במטבחון. בכניסה לחדר הייתה בדכ הצפה ממי המזגן.

הכל היה מושלם. חשבו על הפרטים הקטנים. בעל הבית אדיב

They’re wonderful people in the nicest town in Israel. A hidden treasure.

This place is a little gem. It was the best place we stayed in all the time in Israel. Its quiet, private, peaceful and has a feeling that the owners really care about the property. Easy to go to the dead sea etc. for the day. I would highly recommend this property. We would return if ever needing accommodation near the dead sea.

Perfect place to come with a group of friends or families, the rooms provide privacy and are well equipped for cooking your own food, and the patio outdoors gives the perfect space to hang out as a group, barbecue included and all. The house is really quaint, well designed, and has lovely details like the wind chimes, plants, and flowers. The owners live in the property but they keep to themselves and can't be seen from the guest area, they are super helpful and are available for anything you need via WhatsApp. There's two major supermarkets about a 7 minute drive, and the dead sea is just a 30 min drive. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Outdoor furniture could be updated and needs a bit more cleaning.

The place is lovely, clean, and comfortable with a great garden. The host was kind and helpful with everything needed during our stay.

GREAT PLACE AND LOCATION

SPACIOUS, CLEEN, COMFT

It was a very nice apartment. 2 beds. A microwave oven, plates, etc. Clothes washer and dryer.

The clothes dryer takes 3 hours to dry one load. I've never seen that before.

The size of the room was bigger than our expectations. The views from this place are great. The owner was very nice and pleasant to have chat with. Nothing was bad at all in this beautiful place. I really recommend this place.

Nice hosts, great location

The host is very nice, he gave good tips of places where to eat, very useful since we arrived on Shabbat. The apartment is big and well equipped, there is a kitchen, microwave, fridge, drying rack, ecc. the common patio is nice and you can eat outside

The wc flush is noisy and you can't throw the toilet paper in it. If you want to eat something you have to take the car, the center of Arad is at 5 mins by car from the apartment. There is no view of the desert from it.

We stayed in room 1. Nothing except the only impediment, the room not having a window.

Easy to find, close to a big supermarket, host was very friendly and easy to reach out to! Also the little terrace where we had breakfast one morning was fantastic.

The room and the yard was nice. Also owners even we didn't meet them but they advice some restaurants by phone and were able to check out 1h later, which was nice.

The room is pretty cold but there are extra covers/blankets and you can heat the room with air heat pump. The kitchen would need a colander. Arad is really small place and the people dress there really conservatively so expect to cover your shoulders and knees in here and there is mainly kebab kind of restaurants but you can also cook at your room.

It was perfect, quiet residential area, very clean, tidy, very well equipped, great value for money, location was excellent for the Festival, the owner is very helpful. I am very satisfied.

It was exactly as advertised! Good location in a quiet neighborhood.

Nice, affordable and clean apartment in a quiet location. Fast and smooth communication with the host via Whatsapp, he even provided tips for good shops and restaurants in the area. It is a good departing point for Masada, Dead sea and Ein Gedi ( we have chosen it because the properties at the Dead Sea shore were too expensive). Available parking just in front of the house.

It was not that close to the city center.

The apartment is located in the suburbs of Arad - you can see dessert through the window. It is a quiet residential area. It is also easy to drive to Masada West or the Dead Sea (a beautiful road). The apartment is as advertised. It is an advantage that there are mosquito nets in the windows. A little more equipment in the kitchen would be welcomed. The hosts are easily contacted via Whatsapp and check-in/check-out is super easy.

Arad is not the nicest city and it is quite far from the Dead Sea (about 30 minutes drive). Sometimes it is difficult to communicate with locals in English (e.g. in the shops) because there speak only Russian.

A great location to use to see all the sites around the Dead Sea. Parking outside the door is easy, a good bed but they are singles, a good sized fridge, a two burner stove, enough cookware and plates and cups. We had oil, salt, pepper, coffee and tea. We were surprised by a bottle of wine! What a treat ! The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water and the air conditioning and heat were great. Quiet and easy to find, everything went well. Thanks for letting us use your apartment.

Such a lovely Guest House..........We had a fantastic 4 night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. The accommodation was superb...... exceptionally clean and very well proportioned........The Garden Area was quite beautiful and perfectly relaxing....... serene and private . We used the Guest House as our base for our trips to The Dead Sea, Masada and The Ein Gedi Nature reserve.......all very easily accessible from the Guest House. Arkady was a most welcoming Host, who provided us with all the information we required for the local area i.e. Shops, Petrol Stations etc.........and even provided us with a welcoming bottle of wine ! Thank you x. We highly recommend this location and hope to return on our next visit to Israel.

Everything was perfectly satisfying.

The guesthouse is really nice and relaxed.

- Position. - Silence. - Dimension of the apartment. - Landlord speaks English, which is not so common in some structures in Israel.

- The drain in the shower sometimes emits smells. Maybe it is not properly isolated from the dainage.

We stayed in Arad for two days. It is a super beautifully located small town in the middle of the desert and we chose this place to be able to quickly visit the hotspots on the Dead Sea (Masada, Ein Gedi, etc.) by rental car. We really liked the guest house. The two hosts are very nice, give you direct tips on where to eat well in Arad. It's also very nice to spend the night in Israel as a tourist in an area where "normal" Israelis live. The accommodation had everything you need, was clean and comfortable, with a very nice garden area. Should you need it, there is a well-equipped kitchen and even a barbecue. We would come again.
