Reviewed May 6, 2026Location right at the end of Jeju Olle trail 6 and start of trail 7. Very large dorm beds with curtains for privacy (although the curtains don’t work so well for bottom bunks that are oriented perpendicular to the upper bunks). Quilts, toiletries (soap, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) and small towels are provided. (Note that typical Korean bath towels are only hair towel size by western standards.)
Bad breakfast (not included in price of the bed, consisting of watery coffee and a wrinkly, rubbery Korean bun that has been reheated for too long in the microwave). Extremely disappointing that the dinner choices at the cafe do not include any vegetarian option. (They might be able to swap the meat with a fried egg if you ask them, but this is not guaranteed.)

There s barrier to communicate sometime. Staff may not able to communicate in english, and all information and event tend to cater for local, as someone not able to read korean feel not able to engage.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Laundry service was huuuuge plus in mid of my Olle Jeju Walk! Location optimal to go to eat and have a break from hike. Hint while route 7 is on reparation: stay 2 night's. After first nights do 7+7.1. (They make a very nice circle!) Then second sleep and take free shuttle to start of 8! This as long as the reparation of old route 7 is going on!
People are a bit messy, everything was so clean when I arrived, but toilets all over wet after some time, I really do not understand, thou slippers are provided!

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026This was my first trip to Jeju Island, and I’m so grateful I chose Olle Stay as my first place to stay. The staff here were incredibly warm and friendly (they really know how to break the ice). I’m sorry I forgot to ask for their names (I’m a bit shy), but they were so patient in helping answer all my questions about the Olle trail and the best way to get to Hallasan. I truly appreciate the time and effort they dedicated to helping me. C: The facilities in the guesthouse are just like those on Olle trail, full of thoughtful touches (I loved the cute butterfly ribbon of the ganse icon 🎀 on the girls’ bathroom door). It really shows their attention to detail and care for the guests. Every traveler who’s hiking Olle trail deserves to give here a try! :D Last but definitely not least: you absolutely MUST try their homemade jujube tea and mandarine-filled buns! Especially the jujube tea! I’d come back to Jeju 3,000 times just for the tea 🥹 Thank you Olle, thank you all!
If you’re staying in a dormitory bed, bring earplugs! it’ll make everything much smoother. Earplugs are also available at the 1st floor vending machine and the convenience store right across the street.

관리가 잘 되는 편이지만, 아무래도 다인실이라 타인과 방을 같이 쓰다보니 불편함은 어쩔 수 없다. 그냥 만원 더 주고 저렴한 모텔에서 혼자 저녁에 편하게 tv보면서 쉬는 게 좋을 듯.. 그리고, 옥상 빨래 건조대가 너무 부족합니다.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025Location - convenient for me as I was hiking the Olle trail Facilities - shower space (on 2nd floor) was clean, spacious and the experience was nice, bed space was reasonable Price - was reasonably cheap Staff - quite friendly in general , despite I didn’t speak Korean at all
Language - most staff couldn’t speak English, it was quite difficult to communicate with them. Having said that, I should’ve learnt some Korean, as I was the one visiting the country. The only reason I raise this is to highlight there’s a language barrier.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2025This is the best hostel i have stayed in Jeju. Very spacious, clean, quiet, and point plus for the curtain. It is close to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, which is nice. Want breakfast but lazy to go out? Just go downstairs to the restaurant. You can also join the hiking tracks from here with a group i believe.
If only there’s elevators, that’d be even awesome. But everything was fine.

No kitchenette facility, no microwave. There is hot water but not cups or anything for tea. Also a very small common area to sit, meant to use the tourist info centre but felt bad sitting there and not buying anything.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2025Centrally located not too far from prominent food streets and the main market. The inhouse restaurant had flavourful, healthy and most importantly reasonably priced meals. Beds were comfortable and clean, showers were impeccably tidy and dry. Lockers to store bags when on the multiday Jeju Olle hike is affordable compared to alternative options. Most importantly, staff are earnest, friendly, and go out of the way to help you have a pleasant stay. For the price I paid, this was a steal and I can highly recommend it to anyone hiking the Jeju Olle. I loved it so much I extended my stay here multiple times during the hike and in the recovery phase!

Everything that caters to hiking the course is located here. Room was very clean and showers were powerful. Beds were comfortable. I always love staying here when the opportunity arises

Reviewed Jan 4, 20251. Good location, 5-10 minutes walk to the market. 2. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had good sleep for 2 nights there. 3. When I stayed there, the water temperature wasn't hot enough for taking a shower, but the manager was able to come shortly to fix it.
As an internal travller, it is a bit frustrating that staff couldn't communicate in English. Translation APP is required.
