Absolutely fantastic, perfect accommodation and Adele is wonderful. The place is like a museum, really something special. They go above and beyond, Adele even bakes the rusks, so delicious 😋 Only thing I would change is please put real SA rooibos tea instead of the flavoured rooibos tea thats usually found overseas. I realise most of the guests are international but maybe they'd like to have pure rooibos when in SA. Just a suggestion, I could be wrong.

Una sorpresa davvero bellissima questa struttura di un'altra epoca perfettamente conservata e funzionale. Splendida accoglienza della signora Adele prodiga di consiglii e ottima padrona di casa anche per una colazione preparata al momento. Ottimo punto di sosta per una visita al vicinissimo Blyde Canyon

A pochi passi dalla via centrale in una struttura che ricorda quelle dell’epoca per cui molto suggestiva. Camera molto ampia

In generale la pulizia é migliorabile, ma questo vale per tutte le strutture del Sudafrica dove evidentemente hanno standard diversi da quelli italiani. Colazione poco varia, solo salata.

Le côté authentique et la gentillesse du personnel

Incroyable maison à Graskop construite dans les années 1990 mais dans un style victorien. Un certain charme suranné. Une chambre spacieuse avec même un lit chauffant ce qui était appréciable vu les températures lors de notre passage Un accueil très professionnel et un repas du soir préparé spécialement pour nous en tenant compte de nos contraintes alimentaires 👍.

The lobby and rooms are amazingly decorated! Such a homely atmosphere and the hosts was lovely! Very accommodating and helpful.

Ci è piaciuta tantissimo la struttura. La colazione anche era ottima. Nonostante il freddo, con la coperta elettrica, alla fine si dormiva bene.

Quando abbiamo fatto la cena in loco, abbiamo avuto l’impressione che fosse tutto un po’ di fretta perché dopo di noi dovevano arrivare altri ospiti. Mentre eravamo davanti al camino a mangiare il dolce, il nostro tavolo è stato sparecchiato quando ancora avevamo l’acqua da finire, senza chiederci nulla. Sono banalità che comunque hanno un impatto sull’esperienza. Per il resto, posto magnifico.

Beautiful vintage-style apartment with a truly unique character. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very kind—even on short notice, she managed to reserve us a table at an excellent restaurant just a short walk away.

Понравилось абсолютно все. Оформление гостиницы просто великолепное. Хозяйка помогла нам забронировать столик в отличном ресторане. Вечером в общей гостиной зажигают камин. Мы были в восторге от гостиницы.

De mensen waren aardig. Het ontbijt was goed. De mensen hebben een oplossing aangeboden voor ons eerdere vertrek. Dat was echt heel positief! Wij hebben daar geen gebruik van genaakt.

Voor ons was de kamer niet prettig er was geen deur voor het toilet. Waardoor wij een dag eerder zijn vertrokken

Contact facile et super accueil d'Adele. Une maison dans son jus mais dégageant une ambiance exceptionnelle. Conforme a ce qui est présenté. Je recommande de prendre l'option table d'hôte... on est comme a la maison et c’est tres bon et copieux.

Es ist wie eine Zeitreise, alles super erhalten. Kamin wurde für uns vorbereitet. Die Zimmer können mit der Klimaanlage beheizt werden und im Bett war eine Heizdecke. Frieren muss hier keiner trotz der Außentemperaturen von 3C

Good location for exploring the area; magnificent decor and architecture of the home, taking you back in time, yet plenty comfort with heating and good bedding (electric blanket); fantastic breakfast 😀 Adele is a great host 👌

La maison est un musée, c'est une attraction en soi. Il faisait froid donc on a apprécie les la cheminée et les lits chauffants. Le dîner qui nous a été proposé pour le premier soir était délicieux. Adèle est chaleureuse et très professionnelle.

La casa es mucho más que un alojamiento. Es una preciosidad parada en el tiempo, llena de detalles hogareños.

Hubo un apagón de luz en la zona, pero pasamos una tarde a la luz de las velas, delante de la chimenea, inolvidable.

L’emplacement dans le centre. La maison qui nous fait faire un bond dans le temps.

I loved everything. The guest house is absolutely stunning. The decor is outstanding. The garden is a gem. The breakfasts are exceptional. The owners are really awesome people and so are the staff. They made me feel at home. The bedroom we had was lovely and all the little extras were so pleasant. This place deserves more than 5 Stars

House has a strong "vintage" feel - with lots of old memorabilia etc. Large and well appointed bedroom. Host helpful. Location is close to options to eat.

Breakfast was just OK - not really cooked to order if there are multiple parties staying.

De ouderwetse inrichting. Erg leuk als je voor die tijd het dorpje pelgrims rest bezoekt en daar luncht. En dan hier overnacht. Dan zit je echt een eeuw terug in de tijd.

The house was beautiful, the room has a independent entrance. The room has a lot of space. The host was very nice and helpful. She reservated a restaurant for us and helped us with a problem we had. It's close to restaurants and facilities.

A charming home away from home in Graskop "We had a wonderful experience at A Pilgrim's Rest. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the home-like warmth of the place. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always showing a great disposition to assist our family. We especially loved having a fireplace with wood provided, which allowed us to spend a cozy afternoon by the fire—making us feel just like we were in our own home. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and picturesque, perfectly capturing the charm of the area. We especially loved the great backyard/patio; it’s a fantastic space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect base for our family adventure. Highly recommended!" Either they recomend us a driver for panorama route! Great Breakfast!!!!

Tout! Très bon accueil, à proximité immédiate du centre, on peut aller à pied se restaurer . La maison était très confortable, propre et bien agencée. Les chambres étaient assez grande. La propriétaire et le personnel était très efficace. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que le dîner étaient très bons .

We loved the Pilgrims guest house. Great location spacious room, clean and comfortable. Adele runs a lovely place, good restaurant recommendations and advice. It is save and close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen Regentag und da zeigt sich, wie gut ein Guest House ist. Zimmer mit Liebe eingerichtet wie bei Großmutter und ein großer Gemeinschaftsraum mit Bar und Kamin sowie Küche. Gutes Frühstück und Management. Waren sehr begeistert und blieben länger als ursprünglich geplant.

Top Lage (als Ausgangspunkt für die Panorama Route, oder als Zwischenstation auf dem Weg in den Krüger) & faszinierendes einmaliges Ambiente - schöne Zimmer (vor allem die ersten beiden ‚aussen‘), mega-freundliche Gastgeberin & exzellenter Service - kleiner aber feiner Garten zum relaxen, tolles Frühstück (optimal Abendessen mit 3 Gängen - schaffen nur die ganz Hungrigen 🤣🤣🤣)

Just a very nice place to stay a few days. A combination of period decorations with modern facilities. Safe location and close to restaurants. Really nice hosts. Great breakfast. Fantastic, and informative staff generally. Highly recommended.

Cozy and unique stay in a classic style. Wonderful bath. They even reserved a table for us at a restaurant. During our stay there was an electricity issue, so the air conditioning wasn’t working, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Position and ambiance

The property met every expectation, it is as what it was advertised. The host was very welcoming, and the restaurant recommendation was spot on.
