El aire acondicionado es muy ruidoso y no tiene mando. Lacisterna se rompió 2 veces en 5 días. Tamaño de habitación muy pequeño. No había agua caliente aunque la fría estaba bien para ducharse.

Water is insuffient for the group especially we were occupying for 2 family rooms. Low water flow.

Definitely exceeded our expectations. We didn't rent any motorcycle or service during our stay but the location was very accessible (just one motorela away from poblacion) and a short walk to Yumbing and other tourist spots (white island is just walking distance while sunken cemetery, church ruins and old walkway are just one ride away). If you're into hiking, Ardent Hot spring and JOP for Mt. Hibok-Hibok is just 3km away, so location was very strategic. There are also sari-sari store and carinderias nearby if you ever needed anything. The place was serene - secluded from the noise coming from bars in Yumbing and all staff were very accommodating! Overall it was a relaxing stay Will definitely choose to stay here on our next visit to Camiguin.

The pillows could be changed - they're too soft for our preference (which we should've requested so it's partly our fault hehe) but other than that you can't really say anything bad about the place.

La ubicación estaba bien. Tenía una terraza que daba al jardín. Había cocina compartida que es de agradecer.

Habitación muy pequeña para tres personas. No había agua caliente. El aire acondicionado hacía bastante ruido. El personal inexistente, cuando llegamos nos dieron la llave sin más y nos fuimos sin ver a nadie.

So many mosquitoes in the area, wifi is so slow

The garden is beautiful and green. It's a great place to relax, provided there's no noise or music disturbance. It's also nice that there's a kitchen where you can cut fruit or even cook something.

We were going to spend the Christmas period here (4 nights) and checked in a few days before Christmas. Our arrival was not expected. The host was quite surprised to see us there. After cleaning the room, we were able to move in. The room is very basic and, as previous reviews have mentioned, the air conditioning is loud and doesn't really cool the room down. Because you are also given a thick fleece blanket to sleep under, it is very warm anyway. The room also smelled damp and musty, and both the toilet and shower in the bathroom leaked. What we hadn't taken into account was that on day 2, the neighbours started karaoke at 6:30 a.m., which woke us up (after already having a bad night's sleep due to the heat). It also seemed that many families/locals were coming to celebrate Christmas and the music was turned on at the accommodation. Because we didn't want to spend Christmas in the noise and totally exhausted, we moved to another hotel 3 km away, where we ended up paying practically the same and it was much quieter.

Perfect little cottage! I loved the free coffee, the kindness and helpful tips. I even got to check in hours early because the room was free. The owner also has a good contact for scooter rental. The place is clean ánd has a solar system so on a (sunny) black-out day, you won’t be out of power/wifi/aircon for long. I would definitely stay here again!

Surprisingly serene for a convenient location close to the ring road. Balconies face a lovely garden. Everything needed was provided, including a kitchen, all with a smile.

The ac, while effective, was a little loud as it turned on and off. Not a problem for me, and maybe not applicable to other rooms.

I like that the rooms are clean. It has a board game "sungka" which we enjoyed to play. They have also an outdoor common kitchen with a dining table, which is also nice for a small family gatherings. The location is perfect, It's close to the cafes and restaurants.

It's so sad that there are no water heaters in the shower.

The owner, Poloy & his staff - Christine & Rey were wonderful, very accommodating, helpful & friendly!!! Poloy helped me with my superb tour reservation with Rey being the tour guide & driver, as well as, arranged with Rey to drop me off at the airport; am very thankful & grateful for your kindness, Poloy, and Rey for dropping me off early at the airport and helping me with my heavy luggage!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of Camiguin in a very leisurely manner!!! Christine helped me with many of my requests & inquiries. The Inn’s grounds were beautiful, well maintained & sooo lush in vegetations. It’s location is just a few minutes to the airport, Mambajao main town & the port to White Island. There were very good restaurants & cafes nearby, & the ocean is a few minutes walk for sunset & swimming. My room was spacious, clean & very quiet surrounding. Thanks a million Poloy & staff for making my stay sooo wonderful!!!! I will definitely comeback & stay there again!!!

Public transportation around Camiguin is infrequent, thus, a sad challenge for the beauty island.

The property is peaceful, clean, great location to everything (beach,falls,resto,etc), staff and owners are pleasant, you can even use their kitchen to cook your own food. If ever get the chance to be in Camiguin, we will surely be staying in SK Pabua again.

Really comfortable place, but it was a little noisy—lots of roosters crowing early in the morning.

Our favourite accomodation in the Philippines! We extended for several days because it really felt like our home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we loved relaxing on the porch. The kitchen facilities are excellent and it is well equipped for cooking. Free water and use of some board games. The staff were lovely and very helpful in providing information and scooter rental. Located within walking distance to several restaurants and mini marts.

When I asked the staff about it, they lied, claiming they take it out regularly, but that’s clearly not true. The dog’s condition is heartbreaking – its hindquarters are completely raw and balding from being confined all the time. This is unacceptable and cruel. I can’t support a place that neglects its animals so blatantly. Avoid this hostel if you care about animal welfare!

Good location - keep in mind that even staying in a good location, you'll probably would like to get a scooter anywhere you stay in Camiguin. The Internet is great, the kitchen is good, the room is comfortable with AC and a good bed and the toilet is clean. The rooms have a nice balcony that is facing the beautiful garden that they have in the property. Make sure to get it for you whole stay, as they could be fully booked frequently and you might not be able to extend your stay if you don't ask in advance. The only improvement I would list is that they could give the guests directions on what to do in the island, but that's an plus.

We like the fact that we can cook at their common kitchen. Also, there's a sari2x store at the corner of the street so if there's something missing like shampoo, etc., it's not a big problem to buy. There's also a nearby beach. You just have to walk on the pathway beside the cemetery. It might be a little bit weird because the end of the pathway will direct you to another hostel, but if you take a closer look, there's a smaller pathway beside the hostel. You just to pass this pathway and you're already at the beach without paying any entrance fees. There's also a lot of cats in the property. 😻

One of the staff (the one who welcomed us) was quite rude on the way how she "welcomed" us. Also, when we asked her if she could turn back on the lights since we plan to eat breakfast at the kitchen, she was adamant about it and insisted why do we need the lights. I get it, they are trying to save energy and it's already "morning" but it's still a little bit dark outside. It would be nice to clearly see the mosquitos, other insects and esp. the cats roaming around.

They helped organise a bike to hire, and you can park it outside your room.

The bathroom light didn't work the whole stay. It's a bucket flush. The air-conditioning didn't work on the second night. There is nowhere to hang your clothes or even a suitcase rack.

The nicest family run it (willing to help with everything), can rent a bike through them for 350PHP/day. Good aircon. Perfect location, close to the airport/ferry terminal but also to Agoho/Yumbing for restaurants.

The owner helped us a lot with everything, and the location was very near to the airport so very convenient.

The pillow? Too soft or just thin. Please replace the kettle, it's rusty na kasi (you can boil using the casserole instead)

This place is a good catch. What i like the most here is it is quiet and tidy. Even the common area which is the kitchen! The room and the bathroom is clean. They have dogs near the gate so it also adds a safety feature for us. They closed the gate and the main house faces the entrance of the vicinity so it is really great if you have issues about security. We love this place. Will recommend this anytime.

There’s a little incovenience about the blanket. It was small and thin so my partner and i kept on pulling this away at each other during night. It sometimes gets a little colder at night. So i will advice to make an additional blanket or much thicker blanket. Overall it was a good stay.

Slow internet inside the room.

The location is very convenient. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's near the highway. We can also cook our food since kitchen utensils were provided. The owner and the staff are friendly/approachable.

Not enough clothesline

Room is spacious and big, good for groups and family, and is value for money.

They have overbooked and they needed us to transfer to their other homestay location which is in front of paras resort, though the location is way better and convenient and close to the boat ride going to white beach, however, there was no notification of room change or any overbooking.

Aircon was turned off in the day so the room got very hot. There were few electricity cut outs whilst we stayed there. We weren’t given or offered more toilet paper for 4 days.

The location is good. I really liked that there was a kitchen to cook breakfast. The room is very basic, but the bed and pillow were comfortable and it was also clean.

I did not enjoy staying at this place, is not worth the money. When I first arrived to this place, there was no body to check me in. I had to walk around the garden seeking for help for several minutes until a lady came out and gave me the keys and that’s all. They do not have interest in providing information of what to see on the island and nothing. They have also two dogs, one of them was inside a cage all day long, which I felt it was so cruel so I had to speak to the owner. I really felt so bad for the animals to be treated that way, therefore I will not come back to this place! The AC is also so noisy, I had to turned it off in order to sleep.

AC was a bit noisy but still functional. There are signs saying it should be quiet after 10 pm but there was one night when other guests were still talking loudly after 11 pm. Not a lot of options for eating out. More choices available at Barangay Yumbing.

The location is close to good restos and port to White Island. Very accessible thru jeepney and motorella. The owner is really kind and helpful too. I feel very safe at the place as female solo traveller.

SJ Pabua is a very homey place ,safe it has a. Gate, safe parking in between gardens, place is huge rooms are big. Huge kitchen to cook , has kitchen utensils & gasul ready for cooking . We love to stay here & highly recommended place to stay. The owner & management cleaner are very friendly & accommodating. The place is clean & lots of lovely plants & garden around. The dog is friendly as well wants your fur massage 😂😅. Rate it as 9/10

At first I was thinking that should need a water heater but the water is actually warm from the waterfalls & mountain I guess. So need water heater is okay.
