Helpful friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast
No free beer 🤣🤣
Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. Shower and towels first rate. A real kipper for breakfast from the local smokehouse.
Signage pointing the wrong way but maybe me.Couldnt find it easily. Not keen on fruit juice already on the table. Personal of course.
Lovely location - central but quiet which we love . Tastefully decorated
All lovely
The breakfast was spot on, It was lovely and peaceful and I would book again.
The coffee , I would of liked a choice of instant coffee and pods. That's the only thing.
A lovely house in a very quiet spot and surrounded by gardens. The bedroom was modern with a large shower and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and obviously made from local produce.
Everything was good
Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds, perfectly located in the heart of Blakeney. Staff exceptional, breakfast outstanding and the restaurant is superb. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Nothing.
Staff were very nice. Breakfast was OK. The garden setting was nice.
It was difficult to find as we drove up the High Street from the harbour and the entry sign is only visible in the opposite direction. Once in, a nice big car park. We paid for a sea view room. Well, if you stood by the wardrobe on your tiptoes and looked out of the small window by the bathroom you might see a slight glimpse of blue. To charge a premium for that is ridiculous. We booked a Sat and Sunday night as it was August Bank Holiday Monday. They don't serve food after 4pm on Sunday and they close the bar. If we had known, because it doesn't say before you book, we would only have booked one night as no facilities were available to us on the Sunday. We had to go to the pub down the road for our evening meal and drinks. It seems poor also to charge the same room rate without those lack of facilities being declared upfront.
A lovely hotel for our two night stay in North Norfolk. Close walking distance to shops and pubs, with the quay 5 minutes down the road. Great breakfast!
Friendliness of staff, exceptional food, and cleanliness of the premises.
Absolutely nothing
Comfortable room
Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable.
A rail in the shower would have been helpful.
Location was perfect. Breakfast was excellant.
Nothing I didn’t like.
In a tucked away spot but in the middle of a lovely village. Very peaceful. It’s a small hotel so feel more comfortable and intimate.
Great location with plenty of parking. Friendly staff and comfortable room with a good large shower. Good breakfast.
Evening meal was very tasty but arrived lukewarm warm which was disappointing, also the sides were delivered before the main meals so got even colder whilst waiting for the main course to arrive. The chef did apologise and credit 2 drinks but it did spoil the meal experience. At breakfast my wife ordered scrambled eggs but they were not very nice which the waitress acknowledged and did offer to replace but by then it was a bit late. Also states on their website that guests receive a welcome drink of Rose Cava but non were offered, also chocolate in the room but non appeared. Although not a major problem it does leave you somewhat disappointed and if not now available then the website should be updated! A bit concerned with security as when we left our room key for a day out it was hung on a rack and we were told to help ourselves to it on our return!!! The key rack was behind the reception table but this was not manned and you had to ring a bell for service so anyone could have walked in and helped themselves to our room key and contents. I know I could have kept the key but it was quite heavy and did not want to carry it all day or indeed lose it! Certainly a concern if you left valuables in your room whilst out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return but just needs a bit more attention to detail to make it even better.
From the welcome to departure our stay in Blakeney House was brilliant. The building looks grand and we got that "ooh this is a good room" feeling when we entered. Everything was easy and the staff were super friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. As an independent it was clear that they cared about getting things right for their guests. Breakfast was superb, choosing the night before ensured we had everything we wanted and we were able to try something different every day. They have prioritised quality so each dish was delicious but not overwhelmingly large. The porridge is extra special. Sitting at the top of the main tourist road in Blakeney the location is very good for walking around the town, getting the bus to Wells, or driving further afield. We were sad to leave but took a great impression of Blakeney with us.
Location excellent quiet & peaceful. Breakfast was very good but so rushed the main was brought before finished the starter. Not what you need for a relaxing start to the day
It was such a lovely hotel , Room was comfortable and very clean. Owner was very friendly ats were all the staff. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come back. A lovely find and would definitely recommend

A fantastic place to stay they even gave us a free unrequested upgrade to a beautiful room. If we come back to the area we will stay again
Fruit at breakfast would have been better served prepped to eat. My only negative of the whole experience.
Beautiful building and location. Food was of the highest standard. Room was comfortable and clean.
Dining room was rather hastily cleared away while we were still dining. Outside seating area was not very inviting, due to the chairs being tipped over on the tables, giving the impression that the area was not in use.
Location Gardens Car parking Staff Food and service Bedroom
Nothing to report other than if you have any slight mobility issues the stairs to room 6 were difficult.
The property is quite beautiful and the location ideal for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was rather splendid; lots of tasty options and great service.
We had high expectations of the restaurant but were rather disappointed by the fare on offer. Perhaps we made the wrong choices as other diners seemed very satisfied. Despite the beautiful surroundings the outdoor furniture seemed to be in need of some TLC.
Very good breakfast
Nothing really
Beautiful building, light and airy bedrooms, very stylish decor
Lovely place in a fantastic location
Wonderful spacious home from home in the centre of Blakeney, tastefully furnished with well equipped rooms that are spotlessly clean. Staff were so helpful and welcoming . Breakfast was of a high standard.
Bar closes a little early for peak summer and on a Saturday night but I think the lovely team are pretty hands on so this could be why. Really could not fault this place felt so at home didnt want to leave!
Location. Sincere welcome and engaging owner and staff

Amazing friendly helpful staff but they needed more staff really. All working so hard. Good location. Very small room but booked last minute. If we go again we will have a bigger room
Bit dark inside
Staff were very friendly & helpful. Location ideal for walking down to Quay & eating places. Easy to get to other parts of Norfolk. Eg Sandringham flower show
All good. Thank you
Location
Smaller Room than Expected for Superior Double
Das Frühstück war fantastisch und erfüllte alle unsere Wünsche!
nichts
It’s our first visit since the renovations and I have to say you’ve made a lovely job of them. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing stand out
Room ready early and very stylish and clean
Breakfast wasn’t quite as good but it was perfectly ok of that makes sense - they were very helpful
Lovely property, such a friendly relaxing stay, unique just like Blakeney. Excellent staff, are a credit to Blakeney House
A little more attention to minor cleanliness in rooms for a little dusting but when mentioned was addressed.
We loved everything! Rooms were very comfortable, stylish and clean. The food was delicious. The staff were super-friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect and the garden was a little oasis.
nothing, it was all great.
Nice garden - no staff in the evening
Blocked sink in the roo.,big noisy cooler unit outside in the car park. No service after 4pm
Peaceful - excellent bed in room 8 - very nice food and helpful attentive staff. Rooms are nicely decorated
There was not really anything to complain about but the garden area in front of the hotel didn’t look very attractive or welcoming- dirty furniture-
Breakfast good and plentiful Evening meal exceptional
Sehr gemütlich und sehr schick zugleich. Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Auch die Kinder wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Unkomplizierte Lademöglichkeit für das E-Auto. Sehr frisches Frühstück.
Alles wunderbar.
The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and flexible to accommodate our needs. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was very good. Good helpful communication from the hotel, such as the Welcome Pack. Lovely location. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
The room was a little too cosy, making it difficult to walk around the bed. There was an outside freezer on the blink, with an alarm bleeping, which carried on throughout the night, not great for sleeping 😴
Breakfast, room, parking and location all excellent
It was very hot in the room as we were in the roof space, but we had a fan and it was exceptionally hot both indoors and out great holiday weather!
Dinner was excellent - locally sourced, great menu, cooked well and beautifully presented. Staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing too much trouble. Hotel situated in Blakeney, within easy reach of lots of visitor attractions. Our walk from Blakeney House to Mortston Quay and boat trip to the see the seals was fabulous.
Bedroom hot overnight, even with fan but to be fair, we visited at the tail-end of a heatwave!
Amazing friendly and helpful staff in beautiful surroundings.
We didn’t have an en-suite bathroom which was a disappointment and felt that the cost of the room did not reflect this
Good location, ample parking. Lovely breakfast on second day, waffle and fruit. Comfy bed, nice bathroom. Staff were friendly.
Breakfast on first day, bacon had been cooked then kept warm so was a bit on dry side. Rest of breakfast was good. Room very hot, even with fan. Although we were in a heatwave, it was much cooler on the coast than inland. Would benefit from aircon. Evening meals seemed overpriced, maybe offer some less expensive options, so we ate out. Overall thought it was a bit overpriced generally, compared to other hotels we have stayed in, although not in this area.
Beautiful property in a peaceful surrounding. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The Hotel very clean and beds very comfy.!
Nothing not to like. Recommend parasols in the garden as it has sun all day long.
The wonderful staff, fantastic food and beautiful garden.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean bedrooms and superb breakfasts.
Location and the grounds. Staff were lovely. Liked that it was small and therefore not many guests
Minor but just the fact that 2 singles beds were pushed together
All excellent
Stairs not good for seniors with cases
Lovely breakfast. Excellent service by a staff member
Unable to get back into the hotel at 9.00pm. Faulty key. As there was no staff member in the building a customer eventually came and let us in. Original room at the top of the house, we are elderly, bathroom separate from bedroom, no hangers for clothes and nowhere to put them. There was nowhere to plug the kettle in apart from on the other side of the room at floor level. Our room was changed for us by a helpful staff member
Everything’s my about the hotel
I would avoid second floor room as I have a small disability in
Lovely old building
It was very tired and smelt really bad of oil fat and fish. The rooms weren't that clean and peeling paint etc
Just fantastic
Breakfast was very good - location was great for visiting bird reserves and seal trip
Selection of beer
Very nice interior design
Good breakfasts and plenty of it. Nice bathroom & shower but no lock on the ensuite bathroom / toilet door.
Stairs and the draft ale! Room fan needs fixing
The location was great, on the high street. The staff were friendly. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. The full English was freshly made with nice ingredients. Our room was comfortable and stylish
While clean, our room wasn't spotless. There was some dust on the bathroom radiator and on the shelf that the kettle sat on.
Lovely location, nice and clean, very friendly staff. Breakfast very good.
Loved the mattress covers and pillow
location, period property, parking, garden
mattress a little soft and bed only a 140cm width
Very well maintained, comfortable property with spacious bedrooms.
Very good location. Everything functioned correctly.
The room was quite small and quality was lacking. With the beautiful weather, no air-con or fan, plus The garden was very good size and potential, but grass not cut, furniture was dirty and full of spiderwebs. Food was not allowed , In the garden??????
Very comfortable room
I had asked for 2 beds and we got a large double.
Good location in the heart of Blakeney, with off street parking an added bonus. . All the staff were lovely, very attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent, varied options available at breakfast and reasonably priced menu for lunch or evening meals.
The room was comfortable but was a little cramped for space.
