The bed was comfy and room was extremely clean

The banging of doors at 2 till 3 in the morning that was the only thing apart from that it was nice

Suite was large and comfortable and in the perfect location for me. It had everything you could need. I stayed on a Saturday night and you couldn't hear the noise from the bar.

Two minor points, first the blinds in the living area were very dusty and the window was difficult to open and close.

We loved everything about it! Its right in the centre of town close to all the pubs and great restaurants down by the riverside. John our host was a mine of local information also and lives onsite and was available for any queries we had. The apartment is quite big and has a sitting room with TV (all channels available) along with a substantial sized bedroom with an onsuite. The bedroom also has another large screen TV! There was complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits and its also right beside a large Supervalu. Who could ask for more!

The parking is a bit hard to get before the shops close (around 5.30 I think) and is 1.10 per hour but the first half hour is free so if you check in at 3 you just pay 2.20 and John will oblige if you ask him by doing the ticket at 9 am in the morning giving people a chance to get up and out

Wonderful first time visit to Dungarvan. Fantastic apartment in the centre over Downeys Bar but absolutely no noise. Spotlessly clean and kitchenette with tea, coffee, biscuits, water so handy. Gorgeous bathroom and loads of towels. John is a brilliant host with loads of tips for where to eat and general information about the town. He paid for our parking ticket when we arrived as we had no change! Definitely recommend

The location of this accommodation is perfect. Its right in the heart of town so close to all the bars and restaurant. I was surprised actually how quiet it was at night. There was no noise to keep you awake. Very spacious apartment and nice view of the street from the room

What I always find about these types of apartments over bars is that you feel very cooped up an wary of escape route in the event of a fire. I I stayed recently in London in a similar type apartment and felt the same.

Der Gastgeber war unheimlich freundlich und fürsorglich. Er hat uns Dinge erfüllt, ohne das wir danach gefragt oder darum gebeten haben. Seine zuvorkommende Art allein war alles Wert. Zudem ist die Größe der Unterkunft und das tolle Bett hervorzuheben. Wir können jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen, der auch den Menschen dahinter und nicht nur rein die Sache sieht.

The room when we entered was warm and cozy, The bed was really really comfortable, there was also plenty of room in the room and lounge area. There was also Netflix on the tv

The bath didn’t have warm water despite the heater being on for it.

Great location, in the town centre. Clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The accommodation is next to a busy bar but there was no noise from it. Kitchenette with kettle and sink. Two TVs. Smart TV, Netflix. Good wifi.

It would have been handy to have a microwave.

It was a beautiful location. The problem was parking and the worry of getting a ticket in the morning. It was a pity there was no breakfast, and I know lovely cafes are around the corner; however, they are an additional cost.

It would jave been nice to even have a continental breakfast and a cereal.

He did have accommodation and only told me that day so I had to book the Tudor house on Mary street for the night

John was a fantastic host!!! We were at dinner when I booked our stay & he responded right away with the way to contact him & told us not to rush. Stayed above the bar and we didn't hear anything. This was probably our best night sleep we had our whole trip! Once our heads hit the pillows, we were out til morning. Enjoyed walking around the town & the Dungarvan Castle is like maybe, 2 minutes walk from John's place!!!

Fabulous guesthouse! Warm and cozy and small fridge with kitchen essentials. Perfect location for exploring Dungarvan as well. The host, John, has a pub downstairs to enjoy, too. My second visit and highly recommend. Noise does not filter upstairs as I am a light sleeper.

John, the host was amazing, I received a complementary pint at the Downey's bar and my car parking on the street was sorted till 9 am.

Great location and John was a very friendly and helpful host at all times. Bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet and yet we were only upstairs from the pub. Will definitely return, had a great stay.

Location is perfect. Property very clean. Consider my other mates were staying in a local hotel for €50 extra that wouldn't be half as clean as this property

The host John was an absolute gentleman. He gave us great suggestions on different eateries & places of interest. The junior suite was spotless. The amenities very useful and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I would highly recommend a stay here as it’s a beautiful town with very friendly people. We will definitely be back.

The shower was a little weak but there was plenty of hot water in the taps.

The suite was fabulous, really really lovely. Huge tv in sitting room area, and same in bedroom, both with sky tv and Netflix. Lovely table and chairs, to sit, and have a cuppa and a croissant. Bathroom was spotless, bath and shower. Loads of towels, which was brilliant, plus they were bath sheets and super soft.

There was nothing to not like.
