The staff was not so friendly, also it's not aloud to swim in the pool after curtain hour. (We been to other many places no one limited us since any way no lifeguard around).

Ich habe mal wieder Islandlife Bungalows gebucht. Der Garten ist ein Traum. Der Pool mit Aussicht auf das Meer. Bei Flut kann man sehr gut auch im Meer baden. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist sehr ruhig, obwohl man zentral ist. Food Markt und Supermärkte in der Nähe nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Achte beim buchen darauf das du AC mit buchst, weil es gibt auch Zimmer mit Ventilator glaub ich.

The staff was amazing, helpful and very welcoming. The location is good to get to the town market or exploring the town . The swimming pool was clean, deep and at a good temperature . We had 2 fans in the room . Perfect

The bungalow was not "mosquito proof" anymore so there needs to be a mosquito net . The platform,where you want to sunbathe between to the pool and ocean was dangerous to step on .

War schon mehrmals hier. Sehr freundliches Personal, Pool mit Meerblick. Direkter Zugang zum Meer. Werde nicht das letzte Mal hier her kommen. Sehr ruhig obwohl es zentral ist. Geschäfte und Restaurant in der Nähe.

Literie pas confortable, pas de couette et nous avons demandé à avoir une autre chambre avec climatisation car il faisait trop chaud même avec 2 ventilateurs.

One of the staff members kids took my shoes - only brought one pair with me on this holiday and the staff couldn’t find it in the end. Gutted

Die Lage in Bezug auf die Gegend: direkt nebendran ein kleines lokales Muay Thai Gym was ich sehr empfehlen kann, sehr viele leckere Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe, kurzer Fußweg zu einem sehr guten Foodcourt

Zimmer: Betten zu weich und Matratze offensichtlich durchgelegen, müsste man mal wechseln; Bettdecke eine warme Kuscheldecke; Ausstattung des Bads sehr mangelhaft und kein Fenster zum Lüften; generell sehr kleines Zimmer; der anliegende Strand bzw das Meer direkt am Hotel

A pocos metros de la orilla, el restaurante ofrece buenos productos y la piscina está muy bien tambien. Habitaciones espaciosas y buen precio.

La habitación era bastante antigua pero aceptable, la playa no está en la lista de mejores… elegiría otra la próxima vez.

Der schöne ruhige Garten mit Pool. Das Meer direkt am Hotel. Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage ist gut. Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe.

Proche du centre ville et de la plage avec une piscine et un restaurant. Ma chambre économique avait un lit peu confortable mais je pense que les belles chambres ont un meilleur matelas. Le personnel est super efficace et avenant. Il m’ont commandé un taxi et gardé mes produits frais dans leur frigo.

För det priset var det 10/10 speciellt med stranden och det lugna läget men bara några meter från huvudgatan fast man hör inte bilarna så det är superbra

Wat een geweldig zwembad en uitzicht! Mooie gelegenheid om te eten en een spelletje te doen. Het eten is ook echt lekker. Wij hadden 1 dag met veel regen, en dan is het heel fijn dat je daar kunt zitten. De kamer en de badkamer is klein, maar je hoeft er alleen te slapen en je op te frissen. De rest kun je verder op het resort verblijven.

Pool side room is sweet

Really deep and clean pool, relaxed/chilled vibe around the pool and bar area, walking distance to the ferry pier and town. Air con and wifi worked well in our room, our bungalow was in good condition and very quiet. Nice view of the beach from the pool area although the sea is too shallow for swimming.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable with a cheap mattress, a synthetic bottom sheet, and an awful fleece blanket (no top sheet), this along with the sewage smell from the bathroom was the main reason we did not stay longer. The bed was on a large built in concrete plinth which others may find difficult to climb up on. Some maintenance of the deck and grass area is required although this contributed to a laidback relaxed feel.

Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et sont spacieuses. La literie est de qualité. Le piscine est super et propre. La personne à l’accueil est très aidante et efficace.

Das Personal ist supper lieb und helfen bei allen Angelegenheiten. Ein Pool mit Poolbaar, Strand, am kann auch dort Frühstücken. Der Foodcourt ist ca 7min zu fuss, was wir geliebt haben. 3min entfernt ein 7/11 und ein kleines Feines Local mit feinem thai Essen.

POSTO FANTASTICO. QUALITÀ PREZZO INCREDIBILE. Posizione, comodità, gentilezza. Venite qui. Super consigliato.

Great location in thong sala area, very quiet and has access to everything you need around. The islandlife crew were great, helped me with taxi back to the pier The room is very simple and clean and for me it was more than enough, great value for money. The access to the beach is easy and a quiet area where you can just enjoy and relax

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, toller Pool, sehr gute Lage! Das etwas ältere Zimmer mit Fan war groß, sauber und ruhig! Guter Wasserdruck und warmes Wasser zum duschen. Sehr leckerer Kaffee aus dem Siebträger. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Pas de drap et couette, Pas de serviettes de plages / piscine Établissement pas entretenu , l’herbe n’est pas coupée , la piscine est sale , la clientèle pas respectueuse, ( fume et bois dans la piscine ) Pas de matelas sur le peu de transat qu’il y a .ils so t tous réservés par des serviettes mais pas utilises !! On est restés 2 h donc pas dormi la bas , on a fait une autres réservation dans la foulée

Only stayed for one night but wish we had stayed more!! Insane location right on quiet stretch of beach. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant serves good food. Stunning pool and swim up bar . Bungalows are basic but air conditioned and have everything you need.

Nothing it was really nice. Just to note it’s about 20min from the pier/ town so may need scooter/songathews.

Poca attenzione alla manutenzione delle stanze, bagno minimale, solo due asciugamani per tre persone, posizione un po’ fuori mano (meglio avere uno scooter).

Super bungalows everything was perfect. The 2 pools are clean, you can swim in the blue one and relax in the green one. There is a taxi service with the hotel, and motorbike rental. The place is close to the beach and restaurants.

This part of the island is only a big road with nothing really interesting to do or see, but you can go to the old city in 20 minutes. I don't recommend to eat at the bungalows because the waiting is very long, more than 1 hour in our case, we didn't really understand why because we were alone

It was a pleasant stay, as the pool facilities and the overall location were excellent.

The room had tiny bugs crawling all over the mirror and the table underneath it, which we ended up not using. The room also doesn’t have a safe to lock your things in, a problem which we noticed when we found out the cleaning staff had opened our bags and taken a little bit of money.

The staff is by far the best part of the stay! The location is perfect, the atmosphere in the afternoon by the pool is top!

The only constructive feedback I can give is the wifi, there are different wifi that you can connect to but it lacks.

Hotellin sijainti lähellä rantaa ja oma uima-allas olivat ihanat. Hotellilla oli myös oma ravintola, jossa ruuat ja palvelu olivat hyviä. Huoneen sai erittäin hyvin lukkoon ja meillä oli oikein turvallinen olo.

Huone oli oikein hyvä yhdeksi yöksi, mutta ikkunoiden raoista tuli sisään hyttysiä (tilkitsimme niitä paperilla, mutta niiden uudelleen tiivistäminen olisi varmaan järkevää). Sängyssä ei ollut tavallista peittoa pussilakanalla, vaan fleece-viltti. Hotelli sijaitsee pienen matkan päästä päätiestä, eikä kujalla ollut kovin hyviä valoja. Kaiken kaikkeaan olimme kuitenkin oikein tyytyväisiä ja suosittelisimme paikkaa.

Whenever I go to the island every year I only stay here. The workers are amazing and you could not pay me to stay anywhere else. Even if you do not book a beach view room, you could leave your door and jump seven times and get to the ocean.

They gave us one blanket for two people and we were cold at night. The next day they refused to give us another one at 8/9pm for gods knows what reason tbh.

Perfect location with direct access to the beach, close to scooter rental and restaurants. The room with balcony and sea view is so nicely placed close to the beach. The swimming pool is great 👍🏻

The bathroom is very poor, and there is no broom or mop in the room to remove the sand. The restaurant is too expensive

We had a lovely stay at Island Life. It's only a short walk into town. The pool area is fantastic. Great value for money.

The staff was really helpful and friendly, and they were always happy to help with anything. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool facility, which I think is the best part of this place after the friendliness of the staff. The location is okay and the surroundings are walkable with everything you need close by. It is the perfect place to stay in Koh Phangan as a young couple or a solo traveller. Overall, it was a good experience and I would come back in the future for sure.

The place is very quiet except for dogs barking in the distance one time during the night. I just wish that all the windows in the room could have blockout curtains. The only thing that I would have liked is a complimentary shuttle service from and to the pier. It would have saved me a lot of heartache because on this island there is no Bolt and no Grab. You have to personally contact taxi drivers and pay cash only. It can be quite expensive for just a 5 minute drive, especially since this place is located only 5 minutes away from the pier.

The pool and beach are lovely, the resort is right on the beach. The water on the beach is too shallow to swim but the pool is right beside it so you can use that to cool off and swim instead.

The hotel was in the perfect location with access to the beach and a great pool!

Ontzettende leuke sfeer, erg ongedwongen. Goed restaurant en erg vriendelijk personeel. We zouden 3 dagen blijven maar het werd een maand. In alle type bungalows hebben we gezeten. Een paar jaar geleden waren we er ook en toen waren ze bungalows aan het afbreken. Hoe leuk is het nu om in de nieuwe bungalows te verblijven die ervoor in de plaats zijn gekomen. De vlonders aan de zee waren ook een ideale plek om te chillen. De man van de receptie met het knotje, ben vergeten zijn naam te vragen, verdiend een pluim. Wat een relaxte gozer, hij regelt alles perfect wat je vraagt en houd zich aan de afspraken. Kortom we hebben erg genoten ondanks onze hoge leeftijd ( 72 & 75 ) jaar.

Je kan wel in de zee maar niet zwemmen maar daar kan de accommodatie niets aan doen.

Room was dingy and dirty and very dark, towels smelt like mildew, bathroom had no distinct shower. Lack of basic amenities like turning down the room unless specifically requested, you have to switch out showers yourself etc.

Furniture and decoration really old and in bad condition. Shower is messy and not really pleasant as you take shower between the toilet and the sink.

I booked this hotel specifically so I could get a good night’s sleep after the Full Moon Party. I had been staying in a hostel before, but I wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable for a couple of days. I returned from the Full Moon Party at around 6:00 AM and was woken up at 11:00 AM by loud construction work right next to my room. When I complained, the staff told me it was impossible to stop the work and promised it would be finished within an hour. It wasn’t. They offered me a different room, but the room they suggested was a much cheaper category than the sea-view room I had already paid for and booked for two nights. Instead of addressing the problem, they repeatedly told me to take it up with Booking.com, even though the issue had nothing to do with Booking and everything to do with the hotel. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. They were extremely rude and showed no interest in solving the problem. They also promised that the construction work would not continue the next day, yet it started again at 10:00 AM the following morning. Ironically, the hostel I stayed at before was far more comfortable, quieter, and much friendlier than this hotel. If you value your vacation, your sleep, and basic customer service, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

Highly recommend this establishment... Located within walking distance to town and 20 minute walk to pier. Located right on the beach with beautiful visas and pool. Rooms are impeccably keep and of generous size. Restaurant and bar facilities on site Staff are extremely helpful and kind. We will/are returning for another stay.
