Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Sehr freundlicher Inhaber. Sehr gut gelegen. Große Zimmer mit Wasserkocher und Instant Kaffe. Frühstück gibt es im benachbarten Tebing mit Blick auf den Fluss. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein mit einer guten Auswahl. Gut geführte Ausflüge können im Tebing gebucht werden und sind zu empfehlen, weil es gleich vor der Haustür los geht.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Camera e bagno puliti e spaziosi. C'è anche uno spazio esterno confortevole e tutti i servizi di cui potevamo aver bisogno (ovviamente aria condizionata, frigo, bollitore). Ovviamente la camera è un po' spartana ma era quello che ci aspettavamo, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è onesto e in linea con le aspettative. È interessante il gemellaggio con la vicina Guesthouse che consente di avere un'ottima prima colazione e varie escursioni prenotabili senza andare alla ricerca di altri tour operator.

It's within maybe 10 minutes walk to the floating restaurants and the boat to cross the river to go to National Park (couple of minutes boat ride). Basic as per photos, but spacious, has mini fridge, drying rack, AC and Fan, nice views from room and a big balcony too. Good restaurants nearby. Owner is helpful

Die Betten waren extrem hart und es gab quasi keine Ablageflächen (auch kein Schrank oder Regal)

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026De locatie was perfect. Dichtbij het water en de oversteek naar Taman Negara. Voldoende eetgelegenheid dichtbij en een prima ontbijt bij Tebing. Leek wel of Hana en Tebing gewoon bij elkaar hoorden. Hebben ook al de excursies via Tebing geregeld. Top personeel!
Badkamerdeur en 1 stoel waren beschadigd, maar stoel werd vervangen, dus goed opgelost.

A destacar rn especial la simpatía y amabilidad de la persona que nos recibió en el check in que nos explicó todo y en el check out mos llevó en su coche hasta la estación de bus, lo recomiendo 100%.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Camera ampia con balcone dove poter asciugare i vestiti in uno stendino (anche se un po' datato e arrugginito). Struttura basic ma ne eravamo consapevoli. Si trova in una poszione davvero strategica: in 50 m, dopo aver sceso le scale, ti trovi alla riva del fiume per raggiungere il Mutiara Resort per fare tour e varie escursioni. È possibile fare colazione (buona e ci sono molte opzioni) nella Guesthouse a fianco, di un altro componente della famiglia, al prezzo di 20 RM a testa. Proprietario gentile e disponibile, ci ha acconoganto alla fermata degli autobus per prendere il transfer. Nel complesso, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
In camera, potrebbe essere messo qualcosa, tipo un armadietto, per mettere vestiti, non c'è davvero nulla. Solo due grucce da appendere alla porta. In bagno presenti solo due saponette per fare tutto e un unico asciugamani, seppur grande. La stanza potrebbe essere più pulita, c'era un po' di polvere.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen – von hier aus kann man fast alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker und ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Ein kleiner Tipp: Kauft euer Wasser an der Rezeption, dort ist es deutlich günstiger. Unten am Fluss gibt es außerdem einige tolle Restaurants, in denen man sehr gut und zu fairen Preisen essen kann. Man sollte allerdings keinen großen Luxus erwarten, denn man befindet sich mitten im Dschungel. Dafür erlebt man eine wunderschöne Natur und die Menschen im Dorf sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Badestelle Lubuk Simpon – der perfekte Ort, um sich nach einem Ausflug im Dschungel abzukühlen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Il punto forte per quanto riguarda i servizi é il gemellaggio con la guesthouse accanto che forniva tour e colazione a 20 myr che era molto varia e completa. Il proprietario molto gentile. Considerando che ci si trova praticamente nella giungla é una buona soluzione

A little circular loop to other restaurants if you choose not to only eat at the floating restaurants. The room was spacious. Views of the green patch in front of the room and balcony was nice. Plenty of sun in the day.
AC may need to be serviced and the cooling was low.

There was not a lot of place to store our stuff. The bigger issue was the staff never answered our messages. We even did the check in with the staff of the neighbour guesthouse. So we had no cleaning of the room during our stay.

Reviewed May 26, 2026When we first arrived I was a bit disappointed by the room feel, but after 4 nights we concluded it was quite comfortable. The bathroom door was too small and had broken holes in them that looked uncared for. The stairs to our room looked like they could fall and the surrounding wasn't a warm welcome. Basic but it had a good bed (bit hard for western style), a small fridge, rack to dry our clothes on the balcony, water cooker, AC and fan. The AC didnt get the room really cold but comfortable enough. We had to get our hot shower fixed as the machine wasnt working (was fixed within 2 hours). Everything was walking distance. Could join the breakfast buffet at the neighbors (Tebing) for 20RM pp, and joined their night river cruise for 50RM pp. Tebing looked more like a social place to stay with reception, tours and enthusiastic staff. Didn't see the rooms there. If I understood correctly they are both owned by the same family.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Erg dichtbij de rivier om naar het nationaal park te varen. Lieve eigenaar en personeel van Tebing waar je alles kunt regelen voor excursies, wasservice, ontbijt. Altijd vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. Grote schone kamer met koelkast en waterkoker en airco en fijn ruim balkon met droogrek. Prachtig uitzicht.
Niets eigenlijk. De inrichting is gedateerd en zoals in heel Maleisië sluiten de ramen en de deuren niet goed aan, kieren. Geen ongedierte gezien alleen de standaard huisgekko 😀. Maar mijn verblijf was heerlijk!

Ansonsten tolle ruhige Lage und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Frühstück und Touren kann man im Guesthouse Tebing (gleich nebenan) buchen.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Great location in a quiet, green area 5 minutes walk from the river crossing and several restaurants. The room is large with a terrace and a great view from the windows. A good bathroom with very hot water, plus fridge, electric kettle and good wifi. The owner is friendly and helpful too. I am amazed at all the reviews talking about the long walk to town. True the bus station is quite a ways, but the shuttle companies drop off and pick up at Hana so no worries. Everything else is 15 minutes or less. Great place!

You can have breakfast next door, prepared by a family member of the owner. Good location only a few minutes walk to some restaurants and the pier.
Everything works fine but it needs a good refurbishing.

It is simple but for a jungle hotel more than sufficient. The construction site nearby was not so nice but we were off during the day.

Neben dem Bett gab es einen kleinen Tisch mit Sitzgelegenheit, einen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher und auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte super. Wir waren erst skeptisch, aber es kamen in der Nacht tatsächlich keine Insekten ins Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet vom Nachbarhotel fanden wir (vor allem als Vegetarier) etwas teuer, aber es gibt ja noch mehr Möglichkeiten im Ort. Der Ort ist klein, also ist alles zu Fuß gut zu erreichen - zum Bus gingen wir aber so ca. 10 Min., was in der Hitze mit dem ganzen Gepäck doch weiter war, als gedacht. Beim Bootsanleger zum Park ist man aber recht schnell.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025We spent 4D3N at Taman Negara staying at the lovely Hana Guesthouse. The rooms were clean, spacious, and fully functional. The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They graciously allowed us to check in early and even provided extra tea bags and coffee, which we truly appreciated. The bathrooms were clean, and the room came with a spacious balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. We enjoyed watching lovely birds visiting the garden each day, which added to the peaceful atmosphere.

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025Das Hana Guesthouse ist sehr schön in dem kleinen Dörfchen gelegen. Der Balkon ist top und ich habe immer super geschlafen. Das Frühstück im Nachbarresort ist jeden Tag sehr vielfältig und reichhaltig. Das beste ist die gemeinsame Terasse am Fluss auf der man sitzen kann. Ich war noch 3 Tagen traurig diesen stillen schönen Ort verlassen zu müssen und komme bestimmt noch einmal wieder.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Ist schöne als auf den Fotos. Große Zimmer mit ausreichendem Bad. Balkon mit schönem Aussicht. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber die uns beraten und auch abgeholt und zum Busbahnhof gebracht haben.

Quarto com mobília já antiga, alguma estragada e com reparos mal feitos. Rolo de papel higiénico já usado, foi insuficiente. Não tinha shampoo.
