- The location is next to everything: beach, restaurants and near to airport - The self check in was easy, Leonor sent all the instructions ahead of our check in time - The shared toilets and bathrooms were good

- The room is on top of a restaurant and it’s so noisy until midnight. - It was really hot in the room and it had only one fan. The fan was barely working - The furniture and everything look old and not comfortable

Proche de l'aéroport et du front de mer avec ses restaurants et sa plage/piscines. Grande chambre et salle de bain.

Cerca del aeropuerto y bien situado en la ciudad.

Tiene un restaurante abajo y por la noche hay un poco de ruido, que cesa en cuanto cierran, no muy tarde.

Nous n’avons pas aimé l’établissement surtout pour une famille, c’est déconseillé surtout avec des enfants

Hele gastvrije gastvrouw. We konden s ochtends onze koffers al kwijt en mochten zelfs uren eerder in onze kamer. De taxi voor de dag erna werd geregeld. Het zijn prima kamers met grote en schone badkamers/toiletten. Midden in het gezellige centrum van Santa Cruz, op steenworp afstand van het vliegveld. Ideaal om te overbruggen tot de vlucht. Op loopafstand van het strand, het leuke pleintje om wat te eten, supermarkt enz.

It was disgusting. The light fittings were filled with squirming bugs. Furniture made from OSB board which is rough and daughter ended up with splinters. One of the showers was broken and very dirty. Not a nice place to stay. I've seen better hostels.

Het ligt op een geweldige locatie! Een geweldige gastvrouw waarmee de communicatie heel vlot verliep. Ze regelde zelfs voor ons een taxi heel erg vroeg in de morgen, top!

Veel lawaai uit de buurt tot ‘s avonds laat hoorbaar. Op de foto’s ziet de gemeenschappelijke ruimte er beter uit dan in het echt… Het plekje nodigde niet echt uit om er te gaan zitten. Zeer moeilijk om parkeerplaats te vinden.

I had a nice last night in Madeira in this house. Room is large and very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and you will find lots of amenities for use, in case you forget something. Showers are very good. Only 3 rooms in the house to share bathrooms and the house was absolutely quiet. The kitchen is simple but enough to prepare any meal. I've loved to cook in an outside area. The host is very attentive and replied quickly to all questions.

The kitchen may need some maintenance.

It looks better than booking shows.

WIFI is basicly unusable,Kitchen looks like in a third world country, pressboard is used everywhere thats fine but it's also used where it is in contact with water so it's getting soggy especially near the outside kitchen

A 2 pas de l'aéroport. Petite place très cosy avec supérette et restaurants locaux , la mer est toute proche.

l'établissement est situé au dessus d'un bar, il y a eu de la musique forte jusqu'à 2h du matin. pour de personnes comme nous qui rando nions, c'était très désagréable et nous aurions aimé être prévenues de cela avant de réserver. nous aurions réservé ailleurs.

La literie confortable, la situation près de la mer. Grande chambre et sanitaires propres. L'hôte nous a donné les bonnes informations pour les clés.

quasiment pas d'isolation avec l'extérieur car fenêtre qui ne ferme pas bien, peu d'isolation avec les autres chambres, portes de très médiocres qualités, notamment pour les sanitaires, c'est très bruyant. le coin cuisine est vraiment médiocre. Je ne conseillerai pas ce logement.

Goede locatie, we kwamen om 1u ‘s nachts toe met onze vlucht en konden te voet naar hier komen. Ook het zelf inchecken verliep heel vlot.

Très pratique pour dormir proche de l’aéroport (trajet à pied environ 25 minutes).

Une porte de salles de bain ne se barre pas, sinon les portes et barrures de salle de bain sont précaires. Idéalement il serait possible de sortir du batiment sans avoir besoin des clés, surtout en cas d’urgence.

Excellent stay from start to finish. Clean, good location and the host is very helpful! Would definitely stay here again. You need to try the local restaurant Bilheteira, we were there constantly as the food is absolutely delicious!

La localisation à proximité de l'aéroport est le seul atout de cette chambre, car cela permet de rejoindre l'aéroport en 25min à pied si besoin

Nous n'avons jamais vu une location de si mauvaise qualité : murs aussi epais que des feuilles, portes faites en plaque de bois OSB, mobilier en récup de palette, fourchettes pour faire des porte manteaux, matelas très vieu et inconfortable, aucune chaise dans la chambre pour s'asseoir, "porte" coulissante qui ne ferme pas pour les toilettes communes. On ne recommande pas, sauf vraiment en dépannage faute de mieux.

The only benefit of this accomodation is location

Unfortunately, this accommodation was a big disappointment. The toilet bowl was cracked, which felt unsafe and unhygienic. There was constant noise from the bar/restaurant directly under the window, making it impossible to rest. The door barely closed, and the entire interior was made from OSB boards, giving the place a very cheap and unfinished feeling. The kitchen was poorly equipped and practically unusable. Overall, the stay did not match the photos or expectations, and I would not return.

Room wrapas basic and nice and so were bathrooms, very easy access from the airport. Instructions for the key holder were super helpful.

We were 4 and one fan wasn’t sufficient also given the weather we should have 2 also fan not powerful enough

Good location. The guest house has all that is needed for a short term stay.

The door handle in our room was broken. Seems it is time to change it for a new one. The house is located very close to the bars and restaurants, so it is a little bit loud in the evenings. But for us it was ok, because we stayed only for 1 night.

Excellent emplacement au cœur de Funchal

Velmi útulný pokojík v příjemném ubytování se sdílenými sprchami, ve kterych se lze zamknout, a záchodem, vše čisté a moc pěkné, dokonce ve sprše byl i sprchový gel, šampón a kondicionér. Komunikace s majitelkou perfektní, v den příjezdu jsme dostali přehledné a jasné instrukce, co a jak, (self-checkin/out), vše jsme bez problémů našli a vše bylo útulné, roztomilé a naprosto v pořádku. Poloha taky super, autobusová zastávka s připojením z Funchalu je asi 200m od místa. Primo pod okny jsme meli na výběr z nekolika restaurací (přičemž v noci byl naprostý klid) a obchůdek. Druhý den jsme pohodlně došli pěšky na letiště. Doporučujeme.

Leonor is a very nice person. She agreed to try to change my room so I would feel a little more comfortable. There also was a lot of hygiene products. Outdoor kitchen was well-maintained and cleaned.

Still the same: it is very noisy with the restaurants/bar down in the street and the windows are paper thin. The showers were ok, but a little refreshing would hurt. There was no plug near the bed which was a little annoying.

Very nice place, directly in the centrum of the village above a nice restaurant. Close by the airport, 5 minutes with a cab!

Unfortunately the landing airplanes can be a bit noicey in the Morning.

De centrale locatie en uitzicht op het pleintje.

Het was wat vervallen en toe aan een likje verf. De bedden en kussens waren oncomfortabel. Een gedeelde wc kon niet op slot. De deur van onze kamer waaide steeds open als deze niet op slot zat.

To be honest ? Quite nothing… maybe except the fact that the room seemed clean.

The location was good (well centered) but the isolation ruined everything. I could hear the street like I was sleeping down there. So noisy ! After arriving at 1:30 am I just wanted to sleep, and it was loud all night ! Also, I was freezing cold. Probably because the window was the thinner I’ve ever seen. Shower room was a nightmare. While I understand it was shared, they could at least make a little effort to ensure some privacy for the guest. The toilet door could not lock and it was simply something you’d slide and attached with a magnet. I took a look at the shower and it didn’t seem go have any curtain. As a woman, I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable.

Very well located, seconds away from the beach. It was clean and spatious and the bathroom facilities were great. Not sure what to say about kitchen, I did not use it but seemed operational. Really close to the airport.

The window blinds are not fully covering the windows and let light in the room.

Die Nähe zum Flughafen und auch Santa Cruz. Es war wie beschrieben und sauber. Selfcheckin per Nachricht gut erklärt. Mit Uber für 6€ auch morgens um 04:00 zum Flughafen oder zu Fuß etwa 30 Minuten (an der Autostraße entlang)

Super lokalita, vše blízko, z letiště jsme došli pěšky. Personál vstřícný, jednoduché instrukce k ubytování.

Umístění je uprostřed města, takže slyšíte hluk z restaurací. Když si dáte ale víno s nimi, tak vám to tak nevadí :)

Heel dichtbij het centrum dus erg goede locatie! De self check-in was erg gemakkelijk! Ruime kamers en hygiënisch.

We vonden alles basic. Ook in de keuken was niet alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt om te koken. Matras was ook niet erg comfortabel

Nous devions quitter l'hôtel à 3h30 pour prendre votre avion et il n'a pas été possible de nous endormir avant 1h du matin car la chambre donne sur la place qui est très animé et très bruyante

Sehr nah am Flughafen und direkt im Zentrum von Santa Cruz, daher ideal für eine Nacht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief super. Im Gemeinschaftsbad stehen sämtliche Pflegeprodukte bereit, die man nutzen kann. Kaffee und Tee sind im Zimmer vorhanden.

Zimmer sind hellhörig und direkt über einem Restaurant. Daher kann es noch etwas laut am Abend sein (bis etwa 22/23 Uhr).

Stayed one nights after a late flight. Walking distance from the airport, automatic check-in, extremely clean with spacious rooms and common amenities. Great communication with Leonor. The vicinity is calm and nice.

Some planes can be heard as it's nearby the airport but this is why we chose it, so all good.

Velice dobrá lokalita, pláž, restaurace i letiště v docházkové vzdálenosti. Majitelé velice milí.

Gostei muito da facilidade do check-in, foi tudo muito simples e prático. O espaço é acolhedor, limpo e confortável. Tivemos uma ótima experiência 😊

The location is great - 5 min drive from the airport, 2 min walk from the seafront. The communication from the host was 10/10, check-in and check-out was easy, the room was clean & had a strong fan, overall a great stay.

The bathrooms have roller doors with no proper lock, so it's a little unnerving to shower. My bedside lamp had no bulb in it and the blind in my room didn't cover the window 100%, but overall the room was fine.
