Hem estat molt bé aquí. Des del primer moment ens van tractar genial i ens van guardar les maletes abans del check-in, cosa que ens va anar perfecte. L’esmorzar inclòs és un punt molt positiu, estava molt bo i s’agraeix molt començar el dia així. També tenien aigua, cafè i te gratuïts sempre que en volguessis. El personal ha estat de 10 durant tota l’estada, sempre disposats a ajudar amb qualsevol cosa i molt amables. La ubicació també és molt bona, a uns 5-10 minuts caminant del centre, així que és molt còmode. L’aire condicionat funcionava molt bé i l’habitació tenia tot el necessari.

Com a coses a millorar, l’habitació era una mica petita per a dues persones i vam trobar força formigues a dins. El Wi-Fi tampoc anava gaire bé i l’aire feia un soroll constant fins i tot quan l’apagaves, cosa que pot molestar una mica a la nit.

La gentillesse de l’hôte

The loveliest family own the guestroom, who go above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable! I was gutted our flight got changed to an earlier time and we had to check out a night early, to get closer to the airport. The bed was very comfy and room was so clean. A lovely gentleman in the family helped us carry our bags to the bus terminal at the bottom of the road, as it had been raining and the path was slightly muddy!

Nothing, would highly recommend anyone to stay here and we will definitely book again if returning to port Barton!

The owners! They were so lovely and kind. Offered us food and helped us with our luggage when walking back to the bus terminal. Room was spacious and clean.

The walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking etc. There was also one night when there was a restaurant/bar that chose to play music until 2am and we could hear it.

Location is nice

You wouldn't know it from the photos, but the walls are made of wood and you can hear absolutely everything. The staff watches videos a lot and uses up all the Wi-Fi, which makes it hard for guests to connect.

We stayed 5 nights at Vincent Lloyd's Guestroom and really enjoyed our stay. Clean room with comfy bed. Clean toilet/shower with hot water. Free water refill & coffee was a big plus! Location was perfect. Walking distance to the main areas but very quiet. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Did one tour with Vincent Lloyd's and it was great! Can totally recommend to stay there.

We found fleas on the bed once we checked in. The host was ready to change the sheets and spray the room but we did not feel comfortable to sleep there so we left. Host were okay to give us a refund

Un lloc molt agradable, gestionat per una petita família molt entregada i amable. Està a 5 minuts de la parada d’autobús d’on arriben i surten les furgonetes i autocars, però prou lluny perquè no se senti cap soroll. Quan arribes, no t’esperes trobar un lloc així: les habitacions estan molt bé, vam estar còmodes i tot era net, tal com es veu a les fotos.

Realment és un lloc petit: només tenen quatre habitacions i n’estan construint una més. Els propietaris també hi viuen, i l’espai comú és molt reduït: és el seu menjador, amb una petita cuina, una taula i un sofà on fan vida. En realitat és més aviat com un Airbnb, però amb la teva habitació privada

We stayed in the upstairs room which was comfortable and clean with a great hot shower and air conditioning. Lloyd and his team are very welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse is just around the corner from the transport drop off hub and everything in Port Barton is easily walkable. Being slightly outside of the centre means that the guesthouse is quiet and doesn’t suffer the noise those in the centre do.

Not an issue for us as there is a hose at the guesthouse, but the track from the transport hub to the guesthouse can be quite muddy especially after it rains.

Lloyd and his family were great hosts! Lovely room (clean, AC, hot water & towels), free water and coffee available and and it’s the perfect location being 1 minute walk from the bus terminal and 5 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. We also hired a bike from Lloyd which was handy.

Our stay there for a night was great ! It’s very near to the bus station and the center, but it’s however very quiet. Moreover, Vincent is delightful and helped us a lot by sending my friend her AirPods she forgot via the next shuttle !

This place is amazing! The room is great and the bed very comfortable.

The property is located a 2 minute walk from the bus terminal in port Barton, when we arrived we checked in a little early which was great. Upon getting into the room it looked nothing really like the photos- in the best ways. The photo for the room we stayed in needs updating because it was beautiful, good size and modern! It had lovely mood lighting in there. The family were lovely, it was a short walk to the beach and main town, but far enough away so it was nice and quiet at night time.

Water was leaking through the roof and lights in the bathroom from the room above but I reported it and hope the family sorted it before any serious damage was done. Apart from that it was great, would definitely recommend! Thank you

We loved our stay at Vincent Lloyd’s place! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was huge and the air con worked wonders! Also in a great location, only 3 mins walk from port Barton beach and if you wanted to walk to coconut beach, you could do so in about 30minutes. We had a flight from San Vicente airport and Lloyd drove us there which was very kind and helpful.

Host was extremely friendly and helpful, 5 minute walk to the beach and accomodation itself was clean and comfortable.

The property was close to the beach as you would expect in port barton and host was very accommodating and helped us with excursions buses etc.

There were ants all in the room when we arrived. This made us uncomfortable however the host did provide spray which helped mitigate the problem.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The property is set back a bit so it’s quiet, but still in a good location. Walking distance from everything.

We had no wifi for our whole stay.

This is a very simple, clean, decent guest house. I paid a fraction more to book the balcony room. The room and bath were clean, plenty of hot water, good A/C, and a nice balcony to watch the sunset. It's walking distance from everything (Port Barton is a very small place), and close to the bus terminal. There's no restaurant at the guest house, but plenty of options within a brief walk. Bed was comfortable. They seem to have a fridge and burner, plus water dispenser for guest use if you're making coffee or perhaps simple meals. Mostly we dealt with the son of the family, Vincent, who was helpful with anything we needed. The owner doesn't seem to be on premises all the time, but it wasn't a problem.

A heavier quilt for the bed would be a nice touch. There was only a sheet to put over yourself when sleeping, but it was okay. The wifi seemed unavailable while I was there, but I had data on my phone.

The host Mr Loyd was extremely nice and also received us very late at night. We had massive doubts about the transport the next day to El Nido but he immediately went and bought us the ticket for the bus for the next day which really reassured us. He followed up on our well-being until our departure. While we really appreciate his hospitality we also really like the room which was exactly as shown in the pictures and confirmed to the information provided during the booking.

- air con or fan - 6 min walk from the beach but far from the noisy hostels - hot water for the shower - welcoming hosts - good wifi

- uncimented path and very bumpy with rocks everywhere, if you have a suitcase you will have to carry it. When it rains it gets super muddy. - I found straight hair on the floor and bath mat while I have curly hair - I found pee marks on the toilet that I had to clean with my wipes before using it - I found beard hair on the sink - I wish I could have talked a bit more with the owners so I could get advices about restaurans and things to do, maybe they didn't want to bother their client, but finally it didn't feel like a guesthouse but more like an hotel.

Super clean, spacious room and shower room. Very helpful and friendly staff and gave me a free transfer to the airport in the morning. Bit of a dark side street walking to the property but fine with a phone torch.

Owner was great, friendly and very helpful. Booked us onto a tour which we really enjoyed! He drove us down to the beach as well which was kind. Room was comfortable and great AC, felt modern. Quiet location, we slept very well. Gave us good recommendations- one restaurant Kusinero Del Barrio was excellent we went there 3 times.

We had a really lovely stay at the guesthouse. The location was great- the bus terminal is just around the corner and the main area and beach are within easy walking distance. Our host was very welcoming and very helpful at suggesting places to visit- he booked us on a fabulous island hopping tour. The room was clean and very comfortable with hot water! Wi-Fi worked well.

Super clean and very close to the bus terminal. Vincent was passing by and dropped us at the guestroom to avoid the muddy roads despite it being only 100m away. Vincent was on hand to offer beach trips and other ideas. He charged the same rate as the local tuktuk drivers but with the added convenience. After checkout we returned to collect our bags and we were even let back into the room to shower and freshen up! Also, the children were so friendly and spoke impeccable English.

The walls were slightly thin so voices from other rooms travelled easily.

This place was a fantastic find! It's simple and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, and Barton, their adorable dog, adds an extra touch of charm. The location is perfect – a short stroll to the beach and close enough to enjoy the local restaurants and bars without the noise. Plus, the ability to cook your own meals was a real bonus. Highly recommended! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. * Warm hospitality: The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering to arrange tours for us. * Value for money: The accommodation offered excellent value for the price. * Pet-friendly: Barton, the resident dog, was a delightful addition to our stay. * Amenities: Strong and reliable Wi-Fi (Starlink) was a major plus. We also appreciated the ability to cook our own meals.

It was weird that the young guy at the reception is laying all day under you window on the couch watching tik-tok. If someone is talking the walls are thin and you can hear everything very loud. The room next to the reception is nice furnished but because the whole family hangs out there it’s not very comfortable to be in.

Stayed there for 6D5N and it was a blast. I selected this location since I do not want to be near the noises of the bar. Place is 5 to 7 mins walk to the beach so very quiet. I was also able to work since they have Starlink. Given it's price, it's already a steal since they also have aircon, and hot and cold shower. You are also allowed to cook (extra charge) if you want to! The market is 2 mins walk away! Kuya Lloyd will also help you on anything! His family from his wife, and eldest are very accommodating! He can arrange tours, transfers, and anything that you might need. As a solo traveller who does not know how to drive a motorcycle, he drove me to San Vicente to explore that place for the entire.

We were very nicely welcomed and taken care off. The room was clean. The AC and water boiler were brand new and wifi worked perfectly. Always available free hot and cold purified drinking water. Owner helped us with the island hopping tour with was really amazing with the best fresh food we had. All the services from transfers, to laundry and tours are taken care of so you don’t need to worry about when coming to stay here.

All was great, definitely would stay again.

Location was nice, quiet, clean room with nice lighting, turns blue if you want it to. Friendly hosts and spacious CR for showering. Well book again if we go back to port Barton. They even let us use their stove top cook breakfast

Perfect!!!! Clean! Close to everything, less than a minute walk to the bus stop and the central area. The owners were lovely and always smiling. The bed was big and very comfortable, the AC was new and really good, and there was hot water in the shower with strong water pressure. The bathroom and shower were very spacious, as was the room itself. Amazing! We had a great time, and we highly recommend it!

The proce was high. The generator that woke me up at 6am and that was very very loud. avoid rooms in the ground floor.

Location is great. It’s a 1 to 2-minute walk from the bus terminal and a 5-minute walk to Port Barton Beach. We stayed on the 2nd floor (with a balcony), and the view was amazing. The room was clean and spacious for the price. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. The water pressure was okay, and the shower had a heater. The AC was powerful. There was a blackout when we arrived in the afternoon, but thank God the electricity came back in the evening. During the blackout, Kuya Lloyd provided us with a solar-powered fan. He was very nice and willing to go out of his way to make our stay easy and comfortable. He helped us book our tours, rides, and transfers. They’re doing renovations now (it’s the 2nd week of November 2024), so all the rooms will be even more comfortable soon. Also, they already have wifi when we stayed with them.

We arrived at 5pm to check in and our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait for it to be cleaned. The pictures shown are of the newly renovated rooms do not reflect the room that we stayed in which was misleading. The room we stayed in was very outdated and had paper thin walls so you could hear everything from the next rooms and from outside. We also got our laundry done here for 100 pesos per kg and when we received it back every single item of clothing was damp, so we had to hang it up ourselves all over the room. Some of the items also did not smell like they had been washed at all. One of the white tops had also clearly been washed with some red items of clothing and was ruined, meaning we had to throw it away.

Our room was so lovely and clean: was very new and even though we were told Port Barton had bad wifi and water, Vincent’s place had perfect signal and a lovely shower. We were super close to the town which made relaxing in the heat of the day incredibly easy, and Vincent was so helpful. He helped us so much and the tour we booked with him we really enjoyed. Such a lovely, kind man who always has time to say hello to you. I think this place was incredible value for money, and the little balcony area especially was so lucky to have and such a nice view in the evenings. Plus amazing AC!!

We did get bitten lots in the night

Owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a ride from the bus terminal to the accommodation and offered to arrange for trips. Drinking water and instant coffee were available FOC. The towel and bedsheets felt and smelled fresh. Room is clean but there are insects (which is expected due to it's location). Location is convenient since it is just behind the bus terminal and walkable to the beach as well as nearby eateries.

The room I stayed in does not have hot shower. Location is a little dark at night if you are scared of darkness.

The owners are extremely helpful setting up island tours, scooter rental (directly from property), and van transport. They provide water, coffee, and the WIFI was the best I experienced on Palawan. I will definitely stay again! Thank you!
