The host is really helpful and warm welcome!! I lost my phone on the way to the hotel and he helped me contacting the driver. Amazingly I got my phone back! The breakfast is good! On the day to abu simbel temple we leaved early, and two breakfast box were prepared! Everything is good! But some drivers make mistakes drop us at the pier nearby instead of the guest house itself

We had a wonderful stay at Wanas Kato Guesthouse and gave the maximum score in every category. The guesthouse is authentic, very comfortable, and has a stunning view over the Nile. It is the perfect place to experience Nubian hospitality and relax in a beautiful setting. A very special thank you to the entire team for the outstanding support during our Egypt round trip. Despite our last-minute flight delay, they reorganized everything perfectly, including our pickup and our visit to Abu Simbel. Their flexibility and excellent communication made what could have been a stressful situation completely worry-free. They also arranged our visit to the beautiful Philae Temple and our comfortable transfer to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle, with fascinating stops at the Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples along the way. Everything was perfectly organized, the driver was professional, and the journey was smooth and enjoyable. The hospitality, kindness, and personal care exceeded our expectations. Wanas Kato Guesthouse is much more than just a place to stay—it is a place where you feel genuinely welcomed. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Aswan and would gladly stay here again. 窗外尼罗河的风景不错，尤其是早上，床也不错。员工的服务员也很热情，是努比亚人开的。

厕所有比较严重的异味。淋浴没有帘子，马桶圈上会有很多水。屋内不大，行李箱开了之后，就没什么走动的空间。位置靠近菲莱神庙，但进出需要有车，如果不是包车，不建议入住。线上仅仅是预订，入住时再线下付款。

Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich, es war alles sehr familiär, die Lage ist perfekt-direkt am Wasser, es gab Obst und Plätzchen als Zwischenmahlzeit. Auf Wunsch wurde abends gekocht und das Essen war sehr lecker, Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die meisten Zimmer haben einen Balkon zum Wasser hin. Es gibt eine fantastisch bequeme Sitzecke

Wenn man nach Assuan kommt, sollte man unbedingt hier übernachten! Die Lage direkt am Nasser-See, ein paar hundert Meter vor der alten Staumauer ist großartig. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wir hatten eine herrliche Sicht auf den See. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfreich und gastfreundlich. Er hat uns mit seinem Boot zur Insel Philae gefahren und solange auf uns gewartet, bis wir die Besichtigung beendet hatten. Er organisiert auch kostengünstig Fahrten zu Besichtigungen in Assuan und Umgebung. Der fehlende Aufzug war kein Problem, da unser schweres Gepäck vom Fahrzeug bei der Ankunft ins Zimmer und zur Rückfahrt vom Zimmer ins Auto getragen wurden. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich.

The view, the place, the people and the food! They were super helpful, and with their boat, brought us to Philae Temple and back. Organized taxi to go to Aswan. Their homemade food was delicious.

非常好。1.晚上很安静，就在河边，白天河上波光粼粼的，景色非常美。2.老板人很好，看我嗓子哑了，主动给我送了柠檬水，想换一些当地硬币做留念，老板也送我们了，真的超级好，很绅士的人。3.酒店还提供早餐，赶不及吃还可以给我们打包好带走。

住宿地点打车软件定位困难，导航经常错，但这是导航问题不是住宿的问题。

Очень внимательный персонал, прекрасный завтрак и ужин, прекрасный сон, тк тихо и свежий воздух с воды, есть сетки на двери балкона, это наверное самое главное в путешествии, если останавливаешься на ночь. Скоро в отеле будет красивый ресторан.

Есть некоторые особенности, кот могут быть многим важны: Миниотель находится на отдалении от всего, нет кафе и магазинов, погулять негде. Рядом только несколько домиков. Кровати скрипят. Душ без перегородки и заливает все, потом все мокрое и грязное. Ванная убирается не очень хорошо. Декоративное покрытые двери в туалет порезало мне руку при открытии двери, будьте аккуратнее, открывайте за ручку.

埃及之旅让我最惊喜的酒店，最具人文关怀，老板是一个很善良优雅的人，帮了我们很多大忙，在这里可以放心让他安排行程，餐厅的早餐和午餐都很丰盛美味，晚上周边很安静，我们睡得很安心舒适。在这里和当地人交流的体验也是非常珍贵的记忆。他的船是尼罗河上最好看的小船，可以带我们去看菲莱神庙的原址。房间有小阳台，打开落地窗就是蓝色的尼罗河。酒店有很多好看的公共区域，如果下次来，不想赶行程，就在二楼沙发上躺着看日落，慢慢享受消磨时光的感觉。

Great location. It is nice to have a hotel arranged boat taking us to Philae Temple.

Serene location next to the Aswan low dam and close to the Philae temple. We had a room overlooking the river,you could spend hours observing the river and the gentle movement of the boats. The manager and staff were welcoming and warm. The property has it's own boat and can take you to and from the Philae temple for a reasonable fee. They also arranged for a Felucca ride.

Severe limitations in food options. Breakfast is okay with bread,cheese,eggs and yogurt. But we found lunch and dinner options to be limited. We only spent 1 day here and had lunch at a nearby guesthouse which had it's own kitchen. Would love to see some improvements in this area as the property overall is perfect for a quiet stay by the river.

The staff was very nice and kind. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Wanas Kato is a very charming guest house in a quiet part of town.

Clean, quiet, and right on the water, within eyesight of the Philea temple. Wonderful waterfront, seating for mornings and evenings, boat moorings to catch the boat to the temple. In sight of the 1903 Aswan Dam, and easy pick up and drop off for taxis and small tour buses. The crowning quality of this facility was our host, Sied, who gave us substantial time discussing Nubian culture and the surrounding areas, as well as fixing us up with transportation to visit Abu Simbel. And late meals when we needed food after arriving back after dark. Period he also arranged for the private boat tour over to Fila temple. Rooms were comfortable, air-conditioned, and with beautiful vistas over the water. Food was tasty and plentiful .

For us, the location was peaceful and quiet with everything we needed on site. For those who enjoy walking through bazaars and neighborhoods, this location on the edge of Aswan may not be the ideal location.

皆んなも書いてる行き辛さ。 レンタカーで行ったのですがホテルに何度聞いても場所が分からずGoogleMapでも表示されずずっと探し回って着くのに2時間以上かかりました。 軍人がいる横の道から行くのが正解でしたが軍人に聞いても「こんなホテルは知らん。ここから出ていけ」と言われそこに近付く選択肢がなくなったのが到着が遅れた理由でもあります。優しいスタッフが迎えにきてくれました。 あとオーナーの紹介でボートで観光したのですがオーナーから「500EGDだよ」って言われてボートに乗ってチケット売り場に行きました。チケットが550EGDだったのでオーナーの言ってた金額はこの事かな、って思ってツアーが終わった時にチップ渡して帰ったら後から「少ない。500EGPだ！」って怒られました。私の勘違いもありますが分かりづらく（前払いなら分かりやすかった）怒られて少し不快になりました。その程度のお金を払いたくなかったわけではなかったのでお金が関わるとエジプト人は怖いです。 後は朝食です。パンと野菜でサンドイッチにしたのですがキュウリが野菜というより植物の味で飲み込むのに数分かかりコーヒーで流し込みました。日本の野菜は美味しいので比べるのも失礼になりますがサンドイッチ全体で考えても日本人の口には合わないかも。ちなみに野菜大好き人間です。

Lo mejor es la cercanía hacia el templo de Philae. Es muy sencillo para llegar. En el hotel nos ayudaron con los trayectos y fueron muy amables.

Location cannot be beat with boat directly to philae coordinated by owner in morning. Owner had employees who are his right hand and are very helpful and friendly

The boss used to be very passionate as seen in other reviews but I guess travel is a tough business and he was a bit more lax with us and price hiking on some of the ancillary services such as plane transfers, etc.

周辺の地域からのアクセスはあまり良くなく、アスワン市街でタクシーにホテルを伝えても伝わらなかった。GoogleMAPで見ると道がないように見えるくらい、道は舗装されていないので初めてだと少し戸惑う。空港までのタクシーは宿のご主人に相談するのが一番です！

This is a simple and colorful guest house at the shore of the lake. The owner is very friendly and arranged a boat to the Philae temple for us. Great views from the roof top over the lake and the boats. You can hear the boat engines in the morning, but just very faintly, so we weren't bothered by that.

The room was very basic and had super bright white LED lights (think 6000K) so we avoided switching them on even in the evening. Facilities were a bit old. Other rooms look much better on the provided pictures, so maybe we got the old one. Also, there was some hair in the room and bathroom, they should have cleaned it better.

民宿风景很好，位于尼罗河边，早晨起床后在阳台就可看尼罗河景，哪怕不出去玩，在民宿里发发呆也是很惬意的。民宿公共活动区域也很大很漂亮，努比亚装修风格，拍照很出片。民宿老板服务很好，而且长得很帅，有微信方便沟通，有任何事情他去会帮你解决，我后来在埃及的包车都让他帮忙找的车，车况比我自己找的好。可以付费提供接机服务，也可以把阿斯旺的行程告诉老板，让他给你解决交通问题，尼罗河三角帆船看日落也可以让老板帮你定。

Such a wonderful place to stay, especially when you want to visit Philae Temple. The owner arranged the boat to pick up us at the hotel. It’s so convenient. The place is clean and quiet, very beautifully decorated.

Driving to the hotel is bit challenging.

La vue sur le Nil est magnifique depuis les chambres et la terrasse. Nous avons pu assister au coucher du soleil sur Assouan ! Devant partir tôt le lendemain matin pour l'aéroport avant l'ouverture du "petit déjeuner", il nous a gentiment été préparé dans des box "à emporter". Le personnel a été à la fois discret et attentionné sans oublier les boissons d'accueil offertes à notre arrivée.

L'équipement de la salle de bain très rudimentaire, avec un problème de robinetterie qui fuyait. Des sanitaires peu pratiques et parfois exigus avec la douche dans la même pièce donnant sur la lunette des toilettes.

Everything was perfect from the start to the departure. The staff are very helpfull and polite they took care of everything and they make sure you have a wonderful experience. They made me food around 9pm and I could eat beside the water, the rooms are very clean and confortable, the view is incredible. They offer you transportation in boat from the hotel to the Philae temple and they come back to pick you when you are done. The owner is very nice and take good care of customers satisfaction. They are making renovations to build a coffee and a restaurant so this is going to be a top destination to stay in a very near futur. Don't worry they make the renovations on another building and they are very quiet I didn't know they were working until they showed me. Thank you I recommand this place.

The wi-fi isn't working very well in the room but I used my data instead.

Great spot in Aswan! We spent a night here so only had a short time. The location was perfect to be able to visit the Philae Temple in the morning and easily have breakfast and get to the airport for a noon flight. They made it easy and helped not only with transport to/from the airport, but also coordinated an early morning boat to the ticket office and then to the Philae Temple.

The owner was very nice and attentive. The guest house faces the Nile, and offers a nice view.

The street to the guest house is narrow and is not paved, therefore some taxis and tour vans refused to pick up or drop off at the house. I had to walk to a broader street for 5-10 minutes to get a ride. The bathroom was very small. The shower didn’t have a wall or curtain, and having a shower made the whole bathroom floor wet.

Amazing place for staying in Aswan. Fantastic view, nice and friendly staff. The owner is patient and always help you to get maximum from your experience in Aswan. I have to say about meal. We arrived at 3 pm and I didn't order lunch before arrival, but when I did it the proper lunch was served in 15 minutes. You can always find water in a fridge and hot water in a shower. If you want to make a trip to some nice places Said ready to help you and provide transfers. Already plan my next trip and for sure will stay here again.

The safe and quiet atmosphere of the Guesthouse make you feel like home. Their food is delicious, homemade with love and wisdom! The manager and his family is kind and helpful! The rooms are clean, comfortable. The rooftop is amazing for Yoga and meditation or coffee time or even a nap! Thank you for your kindness!

Located on the banks of the Nile, near the Philae Temple, the guesthouse boasts stunning views. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse facilities and breakfast were excellent. I hope to return again someday.

Looking out over the water with hundreds of motorboats a unique Aswan view, absolutely stunning — beautiful by day, magical at sunset, and dotted with sparkling lights at night. As others have mentioned, the location is a little remote, but honestly, that added to its charm. We used InDrive to get there without any problems, and it was very affordable. Said, the host, was incredibly helpful. He arranged a private motorboat for us to buy tickets to Philae and then continue on to the island, all for a very reasonable fare. We watched the sunset with a Coke and crisps from the small shop about five minutes up the road (you’ll pass it on your way in) before then enjoying dinner. Traditional Nubian cuisine — which was tasty, filling, and well-priced. The vegetable tagine was especially good, though there was a funny misunderstanding when our charades suggested otherwise! A quick Google Translate cleared it up and we all had a laugh. After dinner, we relaxed in the shared area and chatted with Said before turning in early for our Abu Simbel pick-up. A truly memorable and peaceful stay.

The only small thing to mention, which I also noticed in another review, is that it would be great if a top sheet were provided. The bedding setup was just a bottom sheet and a light doona, which isn’t ideal. We managed fine by sleeping without the doona, but a top sheet would make it much more comfortable.

Chambre spacieuse, climatisée avec une belle vue. Le personnel est serviable et le petit déjeuner est correct. Pas loin de philae, ils peuvent appeler un bateau pour vous. Vous avons également demander un taxi pour se rendre à louxor car c'est quand même excentré.

The place looks like a museum. It's a real Nubian Housez very very pretty. The staff is very nice, they'll help you with everything you need. They cal also provide a boat that brings you to Philae island for a reasonable price. The view from the terrace is majestic

If you drive yourself there it's a little hard to find. We struggled because Google maps does not work telling you how to get there. But the host was very nice and helpful to make us find the place

Siad is very helpful and kind, ensuring comfort in the room, transport as requested, and suggestions and arrangements for tours. The location is well placed for Philae Temple. Be aware that city center requires a taxi, but easily managed. The grounds and water views are excellent.
