Toilet seat needs some attention

Nous avons passé un super séjour, la chambre est propre et confortable, et la vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. On a adoré les dîners et les petits déjeuners 100% locaux qu'on a pris dans notre chambre sur la terrasse. Virginie nous a aussi trouvé une voiture en location pour que l'on puisse parcourir l'île.

Le lit principal très confortable, la vue magnifique, l’accueil par nos hôtes, les repas et petits déjeuners.

Le matelas pour le couchage d’appoint est un peu dur

Très joli logement pratique et bien aménagé Hôte adorable. On a apprécié les repas typiquement Rodriguais préparés par Virginie, et les petites attentions. On reviendra avec plaisir

J’ai particulièrement apprécié le confort du studio, la gentillesse de la propriétaire des lieux et la qualité des déjeuners et repas servis.

… « non rien de rien je ne regrette rien! » cet établissement fut un bon choix et bien placé pour visiter le reste de l’ile . Amicales salutations à la famille.

Super vue et petit déjeuner parfait !

Séjour au top! Le logement est très agréable, fonctionnel et conforme aux photos et description. La vue est magnifique depuis la terrasse. L'hôte est très accueillante, arrangeante et disponible. Virginie nous a préparé de délicieux petits déjeuners et dîners avec des produits frais et locaux, un vrai régal!!

Residence Bethel is a true gem and Virginie is an outstanding hostess. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was well-equipped but we opted to go for half-board and we didn't regret it. Every meal was fresh, seasoned just right and made with our dietary requirements in mind. Every time we needed something, Virginie and her daughters were ready to assist. I would recommend Residence Bethel to anyone. If you prefer not to hire a car, Steve is always available to drive you wherever you needed to be on the island.

Virginie, the host, was very helpful. We stayed there on the occasion of the Trail de Rodrigues and even though breakfast is usually served after 7 am, she was ready to prepare our breakfast at 05 45 on race day, showing her helpfulness and generosity. The view from the balcony is excellent, and the danger is that you won't want to leave your room.

It took us 2 days to get used to the neighbour's roosters which woke us up very early. The road leading to the residence is quite sinuous. but it would seem that the road is being widened. We reached there at night. so it was a slight struggle to find the residence in the dark.

Nous avons apprécié le calme ,la vue superbe sur la baie et la bonne cuisine de Virginie qui nous a fait découvrir les spécialités rodriguaises.Nous avons pu facilement louer un scooter auprès de notre hôtesse,ce qui a grandement facilité nos déplacements.

La partie kitchenette pourrait être améliorée,ce serait aussi un plus si la terrasse pouvait être isolée du vent.

L’estrema disponibilità di Virginie e la vista dalla stanza. Abbiamo fatto la mezza pensione per un giorno, e i piatti erano deliziosi. Non abbiamo continuato solo perché le ragazze sono complicate nel mangiare

Praticamente dalle foto non si vede, la casa è finita per metà, solo dove ci sono le stanze, per il resto è un cantiere aperto.

Le serate di relax passate a cenare sul terrazzo con la splendida vista resteranno nel mio cuore. I piatti preparati per noi erano davvero buoni, le spremute di frutta fresca il top!

Sejour de 14 jours. Studio très confortable, bien agencé, bien équipé et moderne. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Belle terrasse calme avec vue panoramique. Virginie est une super hôte, attentive, disponible et serviable. Toujours agreable et d'une grande aide.

Necessite impérativement d'etre motorisé et pas forcément idealement situé pour un sejour sportif centré sur de seules activités kitesurf à Mourouk. En revanche, tres bien placé pour un séjour diversifié à Rodrigues. Réveil matinal au chant ded coqs mais on s'y fait et cela fait partie d'un sejour à la campagne.

Notre séjour était parfait. Du partage, de l’échange, de la bonne humeur, Virginie est une hôte profondément gentille qui aime recevoir et faire découvrir les petits plaisirs de Rodrigues. Le logement est propre, spacieux avec une très belle vue sur la Baie aux Huîtres.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine chez Virginie. Le logement est conforme à la description. Son emplacement permet de rayonner partout sur l'île. Ce que j’ai aimé c’était calme c’était propre Virginie est très gentil, elle est très accueillante très souriante et les petit-déj’ et le repas sont délicieux et et j’ai passé une très agréable semaine, Je vous recommence cette résidence, les yeux fermés !

this place is a treasure. i booked for the view and it is even more breathtaking in real life. you can sit for hours watching this adorable piece of the island from above. Virginie was the sweetest host and so hospitable- was so kind and lovely and very responsive to any of my requests. make sure to ask her about the walk/ hikes around the property- some of the most beautiful views i’ve ever seen!!

First of all , Virginie was a wonderful host , warm and super friendly. She is also a great cook that we decided to have breakfast and dinner throughout our stay. The food was simply delicious i.e. manioc galette, ( cassava pancake), all types of eggs , fried breadfruit, octopus curry, fish and many more. The view from the balcony was fantastic. I would highly recommend residence Bethel to anyone looking for a great place but you might need a car if you want to move around Rodrigues island .Once again, thanks Virginie

Hospitality of our host

Virginie was welcoming and very helpful. Check in was easy and fast. She kindly helped with recommending a rental car which was delivered to the airport and picked up from the hotel. Parking is available on site. It is a short drive to town to get to shops or dinner. The kitchen was great to have for basic meal / snack prep or enjoy takeaways from the neighbourhood. Choose breakfast for a small added fee, because it was amazing everyday with freshly prepared hot food, fruit, tea / coffee and fresh juice. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom was separated from the rest of the apartment with a divider wall, and the neighbourhood was quiet for sleeping. The wifi was good to have in case of need to work remotely. The balcony was a highlight and great for relaxing, eating meals, and enjoyed a spectacular view. On this side of the island, you'll have great views, sunsets, and a less touristy vibe. She also helped with arranging with a person to do a boat day trip to Ile aux Cocos. Overall, the owner was wonderful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Nothing that would stop me from recommending this place. Note that if you opt to rent a car, the accommodation is at the top of a steep hill / mountain and on narrow roads, so the last bit of the drive up is not for the faint of heart or those not comfortable driving.

Wonderful spot. Impeccably clean, beautiful view and comfortable room. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and special care that Virginie took to make my short but sweet stay so nice. I hope to come back!

A great stay overall. Very cute room with lovely balcony with great view. The highlight was definitely Virginie's home-cooked meals! Lots of fresh fruit juices and varied meals. Virginie was extremely friendly and accommodating - thank you!

this was an outstanding experience. Located on a hill with a nice breeze so sitting on the terrace was always comfortable. We took half-board and breakfast as well as dinner were super delicious. Local delicacies. There was a good WiFi and instead of relaxing and just enjoying the view on the ocean we had the chance to work online. Virginie was a perfect host and we really enjoyed our stay a lot. Hopefully we get the chance to travel back there again!
