Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Urocze domki ulokowane wśród natury. Niedaleko oddalone od większego centrum, dzięki czemu można cieszyć się ciszą i spokojem. Domki urządzone prosto ale bardzo praktycznie. Toalety, prysznice również są w porządku, pozostawały czyste i schludne. Bardzo miło spędziliśmy tu czas. Na miejscu są kotki, pieski oraz jaszczurki. Owady też były, ale nie w jakiejś ogromnej ilości.
Brak klimatyzacji, jednak rozumiemy, że w tego typu domkach nie jest to możliwe. Niestety podczas naszego pobytu były black-out’y, więc wiatrak w środku nocy nie działał. Ale przynajmniej dzięki temu wstawaliśmy o wschodzie słońca.

We booked 4 nights at Palayan paradise huts, we paid in advance on booking.com and paid over 3400php for each night. We booked a private bathroom, which we had but there was no bathroom door which isn’t great for a pair of friends and the bathroom didn’t look like the photos on the listing! The room and bed was covered in bugs, the room didn’t look like the photos, and there was a bright neon LED light at the back of the hut that wouldn’t turn off at all and the mosquito net wouldn’t close. The WiFi was also awful and didn’t reach the room, and we could hear Karaoke all night from somewhere nearby. At 10pm when we got back from dinner and saw the condition of the room we tried to contact the host and get it sorted but there was nobody around, nobody was picking up the phone. In the end we had to stay the night, but we didn’t sleep and we swiftly checked out the next morning. The hosts eventually got back to us and did provide a full refund for the booking. Really wouldn’t recommend this place especially for the price, there are much nicer hotels nearby for a lot less.

The smell of smoke in the neighbourhood, but for a small town you couldn’t really avoid it. Moon bar was on the hill so you hear the music at night.

Klein terrasje voor op zon kant. Vanaf 10 uur niet meer vol te houden. Te warm. In huisje ventilator, heb je ook nodig. Hou er rekening mee als je verhit thuis komt kun je niet echt afkoelen.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026The staff were really helpful, the location was great (nice restaurants nearby, and maybe a 5/10min walk to the main Port Barton strip so not super busy) and the huts were charming and rustic, as described. A highlight was the free breakfast we were offered on the last day (I think it was their first day serving it!).
You could sometimes hear the karaoke from a nearby bar/accomodation which was a bit annoying if you wanted an early night - bring earplugs!

Pas de possibilité de manger sur place pour les différents repas ce qui est un peu dommage car l’ambiance est très chaleureuse ! Cependant un peu plus loin environ 5 minutes à pied dans la ville, vous y trouverez tout ce que vous souhaitez.

Très bruyant, grenouilles jusqu'à 11h du soir, suivi de la boîte de nuit juste à côté jusqu'à 3h30 du matin et les coqs prennent le relais dès 5h....pas d eau chaude, 3 gouttes qui coulent, pas de ménage, aucune structure d accueil pour se poser, table ou chaise. Pour le petit déjeuner vous devez aller à pied à l extérieur, environ 10 mn de marche pour être au bord de la route !!! Nous avions choisi une hutte avec salle de bain privative qui nous est revenu au prix de 70 € par nuit une honte pour se confort minimaliste.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Jen est tres tres disponible , tres sympa. Nous avons quelques soucis pour le transfert mais jen a tout de suite été très commerçante. La chambre est spartiate mais il faut rester dans l’idée que c’est une hutte. C’est une expérience.
Clairement il y a un karaoké qui joue tout les soirs jusqu’à 3 heures . Le bruit des animaux et de la nature ne sont pas dérangeante mais la musique du karaoke qui ne s’arrête jamais . C’est vraiment le point noir .

It is made on a dirty and smelly swamp, to reach the property you need to walk in the mud, there was no water for shower and brush your theet. The price is absolutely not justified.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2025Una cabaña idílica en medio de la naturaleza y a un paso del centro y la playa. La cabaña tenía mosquiteras por lo que dentro de ella no tuvimos ningún mosquito.
Aunque para nosotros no fue un problema, se escuchan las ranas por la noche y como el baño está al aire libre, te puedes encontrar con cualquier tipo de bicho.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. There were mosquitoes throughout the entire stay, making it very uncomfortable. Loud music from the nearby bar played all night long, so it was impossible to rest. The entrance to the property was completely inaccessible, and our room was not ready on time upon arrival. The toilets barely worked during most of our stay, despite being told multiple times that the issue was being fixed. There was no internet access in the rooms at all — only at the reception — which we found unacceptable and very surprising. In addition, there was no housekeeping service: sheets and towels were not changed, and no cleaning was provided during the stay. Overall, the experience did not meet basic hospitality standards, and we would not recommend this place.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2025Wir konnten die Wäsche zum Waschen geben für 1kg= 100 peso. Toller service, die Hütten sind sehr klein, aber reichen aus. Wir haben noch eine Tour gebucht, und das war supper toll. Hat und sehr gefallen.
Es hätte gerne mehr Ablagefläche oder Regale in den Hütten haben dürfen.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025Eigenaren waren echt heel lief en hulpvol. De elektriciteit was uitgevallen op het eiland toen we aankwamen en dat gaven ze gelijk aan. Het is een primitief hutje, maar dat maakte het voor ons juist zo’n leuke ervaring. Het ligt op 5 minuten loopafstand van het strand en de eet plekjes. 10/10!
Voor ons voldoet het aan onze verwachtingen. Vind je het leuk om wat primitiever te slapen en meer van local life te voelen ? Dan moet je hierheen!

The bathroom is open, so you have to be okay with nature (bugs and creepy crawlers). Seating and/or storage area in the room itself would be a great addition as there isn’t any as of now.

This property is not for everybody. No hot water, no wifi, a lot of noises outside ‘nature noise’ and a lot of music from the buildings next to the accommodation. It is not easy to sleep there because of that even though the bed was very comfortable.

This couple is the nicest, most welcoming pair you could ever hope to meet.
