A good size room with a lovely view over the area

The mattress needs replacing, it sinks in the middle. Very little sleep, woke with a sore back.

We were walking the Dingle way, nice to have a bath, as well as shower. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely views, all very clean. Food in restaurant was delicious, ef Chowder.

Ambiance irlandaise, chaleureuse, session de musique irlandaise le soir de notre arrivée. Nous avons pu dîner sur place, c'était très bon, et réserver des repas pour la randonnée du lendemain. Le border coli de l'établissement est top ! On l'aurait bien embarqué avec nous :)

It was a real treat to stay for one night at An Bothar pub, super comfortable beds, a big room with a view, tasty dinner, fab breakfast with lots of choices and fresh blueberries and grapes, an enjoyable evening concert and above all, very hearty, helpful and nice staff, thanks again Aileen for transporting our luggage to our next location on the Dingle Way!

The friendliness of the staff is particularly worth mentioning. Everything was clean and the location was very quiet. The food in the pub was delicious. There was a choice of burgers, roast beef, fish and curry. The desserts are absolutely delicious. There was also a selection of special children’s meals, such as burgers with chips, sausages or chicken nuggets, and pasta with tomato sauce. Breakfast was a continental breakfast. You could order various egg dishes à la carte. In the evening, there was live Irish music im the Pub.You couldn’t hear any music in the rooms in the evening. It was quiet in the rooms, and we and the children were able to sleep even though the pub was still very busy.

Great location for visiting Dingle Peninsula. Lovely rural location. Good restaurant for dinner & we love the live music in thr evenings.

De locatie was super mooi. De kamer was prima. Goede douche. En het was leuk dat er beide avonden live muziek was waarvan we 1 hebben bezocht.

Niet al het personeel had er even veel zin in. Uitstraling doet veel! De ontbijtruimte was niet echt sfeervol.

Location in mezzo ai campi, isolata dal traffico della città, che è quello che cercavamo. Staff molto carino, in particolare le ragazze al bar e ristorante. Abbiamo cenato molto bene al loro pub. La camera era pulita, biancheria non proprio nuovissima. Buon isolamento acustico.

I materassi per noi non erano comodi, troppo morbidì e ad ogni spostamento cigolavano le reti. A parte questo dettaglio tutto il resto è andato bene.

Location very poor in the middle of nowhere we we back into dingle and found we were locked out at one thirty in the morning banging on the door for 45mins until a guest let us back in when I told the lady the next morning what happened she told us she licked up didn't know we went out don't think an over 60person needs to report were going out no sign up to request that. Will never stay there again .

Die Unterkunft ist von der Qualität der Zimmer ein typisches Hostel. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit kleinem Bad. Es war für 2 Nächte auf einer Rundreise völlig ok. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, abends kann man im Pub essen. Es waren viele Wanderer da, die den Dingle Way gegangen sind.

Abends gibt es im Pub Livemusik. Unser Zimmer lag darüber und man hörte jeden Ton. Die Betten sind ziemlich hart.

Zona e vista meravigliose. Personale gentilissimo. Ottima cena con musica. Fuori dalle zone con confusione.

Communication through booking did now work - asked a question but didn’t get any answer

A good size family room, very comfortable beds in the family room and quiet at night. A good breakfast and good food in the evening. No problem with gluten free options.

Pub très sympa et surtout au calme. Un groupe de musique folklorique extraordinaire joue de temps en temps, cela rend les soirées très sympathiques

Accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner super, chambre spacieuse et agréable ! Halte parfaite pour notre trek à pied sur la Dingle Way !

Communication very bad.We and another group unknown to us were locked out of the property for quiete sometime due to the premesis being locked and no key to get in only our room key.Took awhile to contact owener very frightening it was only midnight and were not apologetic at all. Breakfast next morning nothing explained we helped ourselves I then asked if there was a breakfast menu and was then told there had been an issue with the kitchen last evening .we should have been told this when we sat down.so I got stressed locked out last night and now no cooked breakfast. It was then fixed and we had a very nice breakfast.communication is zero.We had dinner when we arrived mine was cold so wrent back in and had to stand at the bar waiting for it to be returned to me so I asked can you please bring it too me this kind of service is not ok.so overall not a great 1 night stay.

I our experience we have booked the room for our family in morning and got confirmation email and drive to dingal and just before one hour we reached dingal by 5pm ,received a call mentioned the booking was cancelled by telling me to cancel from my side told me they won't charge me but few days after the money is deducted from my account . After I have to call booking.com to get my money back explaining the situation happened. So that time in evening we struggled a lot to get a room and drive back to kerry. Even they won't pick the phone for a chat. Very bad experience for us ever faced in Ireland

Absolute stunning location. Very cozy and great atmosphere.

Having the pub right there with the guest rooms was great, location is excellent for hikers wanting to get an early starting to get to Brandon. Views are excellent, breakfast was good, and the lounge and coffee were good. Evening music was excellent.

In a gorgeous rural setting. Fabulous views of mount Brandon. Short walk to Brandon Creek. Close to many excellent beaches and rural pubs. The owner is a delightful man. A true Kerry welcome. He was genuinely interested in us. So refreshing.

My family loved this place. Pub and restaurant underneath were very nice to have. Staff were all VERY nice and friendly.

WiFi wasn’t working great when there and bathroom sink was draining a little slow. But not really a big issue for us.

Evening food service.

Breakfast - they could offer a fried or scrambled egg or omelette but not a poached or boiled egg. The evening meal service was great so this came as a bit of a surprise.

The man on the bar the night we stayed was most rude to us and next day refused to serve poached eggs even though fried eggs were being cooked! He had a very bad attitude and would not encourage me or our friends to return. Expensive for this sort of service. It was more like a hostel Found a MOUSETRAP in the so called visitor lounge where he told us to go and make a cup of tea. No milk in the fridge, no teaspoons to take put the teabag.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Restaurant und freundlichem Personal! Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas rustikaler, aber sehr sauber! Abends gab es bei uns traditionelle Live-Music.

Die Lage am Dingle Way ist hervorragend, ebenso das Essen im Pub.. Das Zimmer klein aber soweit in Ordnung.

Das Frühstück war leider enttäuschend.
