Cosy, comfortable, authentic accommodation. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The little nook outside was so nice to be able to relax. We so loved our stay!

Beautiful room ina local style building with nice Andean textiles for decoration. Clean and comfortable, hot water in the bathroom. We borrowed heater for the night. Lovely little courtyard for reading and relaxation. Free clean drinking water available. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

The hosts are very nice. When my wife was feeling sick, Edgar rode his bike at night to the store to get some medicine for her! Our first night there was cold at night, Edgar gave us a portable heater for our room and we were warm after that. There is plenty of hot water. It is quiet at night.

Gorgeous comfortable room and really nicely decorated! We particularly liked the little outside nook where you can soak up the sun! Also really appreciated our room being cleaned every day! Super nice, kind family who are chatty, and always willing to help you with whatever you need! The house is a short walk to the town, and is in a less touristy area which we really enjoyed. Would highly recommend!

This must be the best apartment in San Pedro de Atacama. It’s genuinely one of the cleanest and most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Every day when you get back from an activity, it feels like the apartment has just been freshly finished. It’s incredibly cozy, and the styling shows real attention to detail. On top of that, Edgar is incredibly friendly and helpful, so you’re guaranteed to enjoy a relaxed time in San Pedro. The apartment is also on a quiet, paved road, so you don’t get the noise and dust that come with a lot of other accommodations. 10/10!

Em poucos lugares vi um quarto tão limpo, considerando que estamos no deserto. 3. Por último, e não menos importante, a gentileza e simpatia dos proprietários: Edgar e Silvana, que nos fizeram sentir em casa.

algo retirado (solo cuadras a pie) del céntrito de San Pedro, no hay estacionamiento pero la calle es segura y puedes dejar tu auto afuera y todo ok con eso. Un poco frío y pedimos calefactor y quedó perfecto. La cama dura pero despertabas sin ningún dolor de espalda ..

Absolutely amazing experience in San Pedro de Atacama! I'm so glad I decided to stay here. Edgar and his wife Silvana are amazing hosts. I love what they are doing in trying to preserve the traditional adobe architecture. The room is absolutely beautiful. Comfy bed, big bathroom, a little dining area. And most important for me when booking any stay is the cleanliness. Incredibly clean. I don't know how they do it with so much dust and sand in San Pedro :) At first I was worried about the location, thinking maybe it would be too far from the town center, but in reality I found the location to be great. It's away from the noise of Caracoles and except for the dogs (which are everywhere in San Pedro), very quiet and peaceful. I'd say it's maybe 15 minutes on foot to the end of Caracoles street. It's relatively close to the Artisanal Market and La Franchuteria. There's also a tiny almacén around the corner and restaurants are close by as well. I can't finish this review without mentioning the hospitality of Edgar and Silvana. They were both so kind and welcoming, offering to help with anything they could to make my stay comfortable. I was there in June during the winter and it gets cold in San Pedro. When I mentioned this to Edgar, he thoughtfully offered me a portable heater for the room. They also have a couple of bikes you can use (although I never did this, I saw other guests who happily used the bikes). Finally, I want to thank them for letting me practice my Spanish with them and the little parting gift they gave me at checkout. Overall, a highly enjoyable experience. If I ever return to San Pedro, I will definitely return here.

Alojamiento súper cómodo, tranquilo,limpio y súper bien equipado! Sus anfitriones son un 7, súper atentos y simpáticos! El alojamiento venía con dos bicicletas para salir a recorrer tranquilamente sin ningún costo adicional y queda en una calle súper tranquila.

Edgar e sua esposa são de uma gentileza, dedicação e cuidado com o quarto e comigo que beiram o absurdo. Nunca fui tão bem tratada em hotel dessa maneira. Edgar se preocupou com tudo. Eu havia esquecido de levar chinelo para ir nas lagunas e comentei com ele; imediatamente ele saiu para comprar. Arrumei as bolsas para os passeios e ele até me arrumou dinheiro para pagar um passeio, porque não consegui sacar no banco de lá. Ele foi um querido. O quarto é muito bom, bem equipado. Tem secador e tudo para organizar lanches e café da manhã. Eu voltaria mil vezes a esta hospedagem.

Nossa experiência foi excelente. O local é exatamente como nas fotos. É bem localizado, a cerca de 10 minutinhos da Rua Caracolis. Possui chuveiro bem quentinho, coberta também bem quentinha. Foram disponibilizados água potável (quente e fria), o que fez muita diferença, e também pó para café e chás variados. O local é equipado com secador de cabelo, grill e chaleira elétrica. Edgard (o anfitrião) é muito legal e foi bastante atencioso, fazendo de tudo para tornar nossa hospedagem agradável, além de nos contar um pouquinho sobre sua cultura. Enfim, amamos e recomendamos a todos.

The host Edgar is great, and willingly offers his help. The room is clean and uniquely decorated, There is even a small courtyard all to yourself. The price is very competitive too.

The road to the town center is a little dusty, but Edgar offered to pick you up, which is very helpful.

A gorgeous, traditional property in San Pedro, it had everything we needed, lovely colourful decor and was super clean. Edgar and his wife were exceptional hosts and couldn’t do more for their guests - free bikes and drop off/pick ups in San Pedro town were a lovely touch - we felt extremely welcome and appreciated their kindness. We ended the stay with a lovely knitted llama, gifted by Edgar and handmade by his mum, to remember an amazing stay.

Estilo rústico e bem decorado, uma experiência única . A varanda do quarto é uma graça O fato de termos bicicletas para ir até o centro tb foi maravilhoso. Uma vez que pra ir a pé fica longe.

A iluminação do quarto é aconchegante, mas muito escura. Poderia ter a opção de acender mais luzes quando necessário. Pra se arrumar a noite ficava difícil por ser escuro demais o quarto.

This is an incredibly beautiful apartment. It's thoughtfully designed and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. It has a little kitchen with a dining/work table, a spacious bedroom and full size bathroom. The apartment is filled with beautiful textiles made by the host's mother. It's truly a local experience. Drinking water is provided. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the center where there are excellent restaurants and shops. The tour companies will pick you up at the hotel for day trips. The hosts are gracious and very kind. I could not be happier with my stay. It's a great value.

Tuvimos todo lo que necesitábamos: una cama cómoda, un baño amplio, y una cocina equipada con mesita, cubiertos y refri. Incluso hay un pequeño patio donde se puede sentar afuera. La habitación tiene mucho estilo atacameño. ¡Y el dueño, Edgar, es una joya!

La atención tanto de Edgar como de Silvana, fueron muy amables y atentos La habitación supero mis expectativas, es un espacio grande, acogedor, muy limpio y con todas las comodidades. Hay un pequeño comedor, un espacio en la terraza, y todo ello para uso individual. Hay nevera, hervidor de agua, sandwichera, platos, cubiertos, etc Además, hay máquina de agua filtrada a disposición, tanto fría como caliente y dos bicicletas que se pueden usar cuando se desee La estancia fue un 10 por el lugar y porque Edgar y Silvana han sido excelentes anfitriones

Very beautifully decorated and spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom and small outdoor space. Lots of attention to detail. The hosts Edgar abd Silvana were fantastic and responsive. They went out of their way to be helpful and check we were happy with everything. They even did our washing and gave us a lift to the bus station. It was very quiet and peaceful and was a 10 minute walk into town.

It was difficult to regulate the temperature in the room and it got quite warm in the afternoon and early evening in March. This was helped by a fan and keeping windows open. We had no problem with mosquitoes

It was as advertised, clean, Edgar and Silvana were very friendly and kind. The place was beautiful and had all amenities you might want. It felt like coming home each night and Edgar would even come out to ask you how your day or trip was. Would love to come back!

Wir können die Unterkunft nur jedem ans Herzen legen! Edward und seine Frau sind ganz herzliche und nette Gastgeber, wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation vorab war super unkompliziert und schnell, in der Regel haben wir in wenigen Minuten eine Antwort erhalten. Das Zimmer ist total gemütlich und sehr sehr sauber, es wurden jeden Tag die Betten gemacht, das Bad geputzt, das Geschirr weg geräumt und nach zwei Tagen haben wir neue Handtücher erhalten. Darüberhinaus stehen Fahrräder kostenlos zur Verfügung, damit ist man innerhalb von drei Minuten im Ort. Wasser gibt es ebenfalls an der Unterkunft. Außerdem brauchten wir sehr spontan einen Flughafen Transfer, Edward hat uns innerhalb von 10 Minuten einen organisiert und war sofort zur Stelle. Am meisten überzeugt hat uns aber die Herzlichkeit der beiden, wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen ☺️ danke für schöne Zeit bei euch!

The host Edgar was amazingly welcoming and kind, and their level of cleanliness is better than some 4-star hotels we've stayed at. It's also a small establishment with only 3 private rooms, so you get a quiet and private experience. The details in the rooms were done up purposefully to serve specific functions and make it easy for guests without you having to think about it. For example, they added a luggage rack, they created a niche in the wall at the shower area so you can keep your toiletries. These are small details that even many hotels miss.

Slightly further away from the town centre, so you'll have to walk 15 minutes each way. But honestly, feels safer here than in Santiago.

We had a lovely stay here - Edgar and Silvana are very kind, the property is spacious and comfortable, good bed, extremely clean, nice to have a place to refill our water. Highly recommend!

The staff here is AMAZING. It is a small accommodation that is so quaint and the staff is attentive to your needs. I received a check in text each day to see how everything was going and if I needed anything. Water was available to refill bottles before tours each day, which was very appreciated. The room itself is adorable and the bed was so warm and comfortable!

Walkable to the center, but expect a 10-15 minute walk. They did offer bikes as well, which was a lovely perk!

Very clean, Edgar was so friendly and helpful, whatever we requested he helped us including a heater for the room, heating our food up for us, recommendations of places to go and help with tours. The place is very traditional and cute. Has a small kitchen area for breakfast and everything is very clean with the sheets and towels being changed after 3 days.

Increíble lugar. La decoración es hermosa y autentica, el anfitrion Edgar es una excelente persona, muy preocupado, atento, disponible para lo que necesitáramos. Si volvemos a San Pedro seguro nos quedaremos aquí. Queda a 10 min aprox. caminando del centro, en un sector súper tranquilo y silencioso. El lugar es limpio y nos hicieron el aseo a diario lo que se agradece montón. 100% recomendable!

It is a very traditional room for the area. It is well decorated and very clean. It is a quiet location with a 8 minute walk to the main plaza.

The room was very cozy and the decor was lovely. The little seating area outside the room was a lovely spot to sit in the sun.

Because we were there in the winter it was a little bit cold in the room, but the blankets on the bed were nice and warm.

The room's cleanliness and comfort are notable, with a clear attention to detail. The owner also takes great care to share the rich history, roots, and cultural background of San Pedro's heritage, which adds to the overall experience.

The accommodation is tastefully furnished in traditional style and is perfectly cleaned on a daily basis. Its position - which is about 10 minutes walk away from the town center - is particularly recommended if you have a car, as you can easily park in front of the house. The host is always available via WhatsApp and is very helpful with recommendations to organize your trips in the area.

This was the last stay in two months of travel in Chile. It was the very best of many rentals. Very peaceful and quiet, great bed, super communicative and friendly host, clean and lots of attention to aesthetics and details. We loved staying in adobe construction; perfect for this climate. Loved having small outdoor space to enjoy the breeze and night sky. We enjoyed talking with Edgar and learning from him about the area

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, and very new. It was a 10 minute walk to the centre, so a good location for the price. Warm shower was lovely. Each room has a little balcony and a mini fridge making self-catering easy. There is really cold filtered water available in the main area, saving us lots of money and hassle.

Edgar's place was the best accommodation during our trip to Chile & Argentina. Edgar and his wife Silvana are fantastic hosts. They are lovely people providing a great service - please treat them with respect. They're always ready to help and the accommodation is spotless, and filled with personal touches to make it a great stay. I can't recommend this place highly enough. They deserve all the great reviews.

The studio was very cosy, warm and clean. The outside area offered us a lovely space where we could either watch the stars or enjoy a warm coffee early morning. The property in general is very well kept and gives an extra touch of Chilean culture.

We really loved staying at Ckuri!! Edgar has clearly put a lot of effort into making the accommodation feel like home for his guests, which really stood out as San Pedro can feel touristic at times. He is an amazing host and went the extra mile several times to ensure we made the most out of our time in San Pedro. Our room was spacious and comfortable and kept nicely cool under the desert sun. There was a water fountain by the entrance for cold drinking water all day and we had a private separate room for breakfast and a small yard. Ckuri was everything we wanted for our trip and we couldn’t recommend it more!

Hands down the best accomodation we stayed in our 1 month trip through South America. It's not luxurious, but the rustic aesthetics, comfort and facilities make this house a truly exceptional place to stay. They offer free bikes to pedal through the city and soroundings. Has a cozy porch where you can relax after a long day Compared to other accomodations in Chile, it has a mobile shower head, not fixed one.

The host Edgar and his wife were amazing. The room was spacious, clean, had all the amenities I needed. They both went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, with quick communication on WhatsApp and regular cleans of the room. He even provided a gravel bike with a helmet, which I used for a bike trip. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful room with lovely rustic design. Loved the cute courtyard and kitchenette, made it easy to enjoy breakfast or lunch in the room if desired. Nice bathroom and shower. Fresh cold/hot water available outside which was great for refilling water bottles in the hot desert. Edgar and Sílvana were lovely hosts, who welcomed us with ricarica tea and were responsive to all of our needs. The room was cleaned very well each day and they have a laundry service which was so convenient. We were gifted a bunch of flowers and a cute little llama from Edgar and Sílvana after our wedding in San Pedro which was so sweet of them! The location is a little bit out of the town so if you can't/don't like to walk it may not be the best choice, however we enjoyed the walk and they also provide bikes for free use if you wish. Personally we liked being out of the main tourist area as it was very peaceful! Thanks Edgar and Sílvana for a wonderful stay 😊

The host family was so warm and welcome, it made me feel right at home. When I left, Edgar was especially kind and drove me and my luggage to my next accomodation (as I had to stay longer in San Pedro de Atacama than initially planed because of road closures due to the elections in Bolivia).

Edgar was perhaps the most accommodating host we have ever had! We asked to rent a vehicle, he provided one with ZERO hassle, we wanted to ride bikes ~ he provided two bikes for free! And, our room was delightful! Cleaned daily, clean sheets after two days, wonderful decor. Honestly this has been a wonderful stay!

Lovely accomodation. I liked the front little porch and seating area I had to enjoy the afternoon sun. The attention to detail with the amenities and replenishing the tea bag’s daily. Also I was given a portable heater when I enquired about heating. Edgar was lovely. Despite us both not having a great deal of Spanish or English between us, he was an attentive and caring host. Literally everything else that could go wrong did the minute I arrived at Calama airport so having a safe homely place with an amazing hot shower and comfy bed was the best.

Our stay at Hostal Ckuri could not be more perfect! From arrival we felt like we were being received by old friends. Edgar, his wife and Choco (dog) were amazing, from tips on what to visit and eat as well making sure we were comfortable. The room is literally an apartment! You have a little outside seating area, a small kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge, sink and tableware. Hot water and a super clean bathroom! To our surprise our room was serviced daily, what a nice treat!! Neighborhood is quiet and safe a few minutes walk to town. They also had bikes however we didn’t have enough time to try it. I cannot recommend this place enough for your visit to SPdeA!!

The host, Edgar, was the single most helpful and lovely host we've ever had the pleasure of staying with. He helped us with suggestions, advice for the area, was ok when our plans changed and much more. The place itself is unique and a great place to explore Atacama, it's also good value. I would give more than a 10 if I could!

A home away from home. Spacious with thoughtful and quality furnishings emanating the culture of the region. Very quiet and dark at night – great for sleeping. The bed is super comfy and firm. Bathroom and shower are also spacious with ample hot water. There is a separate dining area and small patio. Bar fridge, kettle and toaster, bikes and free filtered water provided. Edgar and Silvana are genuinely friendly and incredibly accommodating. We were very sad to leave.

There are some dogs in the area (very common in Chile) but they weren't aggressive.
