Rund um zufrieden, gemütliches, kleines Hotel in kleiner Bucht. Sehr sauber und gepflegt, feines Essen, freundliches Personal, ca 45 zu Fuss zum Durdle Door an der Jurassic Coast! Parkplatz ca 200m entfernt - kein Problem, Staff war behilflich beim Lösen der Parkgenehmigung zum reduzierten Tarif.

Beautiful building with a lovely welcoming feel to it. So close to the little beach nearby too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world ! The room was great and the shower had the best pressure and hot water I’ve ever had in a hotel room !

Excellent stay. Everyone of staff was really nice and caring. Wonderful breakfast and really nice view from our room. Very close to the beach. The small kiosk (at daytime) sells excellent cornish pasties. If we may come back some day, than here. Love it.

Sitting out on the deck with a beer or glass of wine here, I felt like I could have been on a beach in Australia, absolutely stunning!

The weather was quite warm while we were there and the rooms don’t have air conditioning, but we did have a window that could open and fan so it wasn’t unbearable

The location was perfect for visiting Lulworth beach and both the inside and outside of the property was ideal. We enjoyed an evening drink on the decking with the sea view and our room was great. Little touches made it special such as complimentary drinks and a selection of sweet treats on arrival. All the staff were welcoming and helpful.

The super king bed had a dip in the middle which meant it wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been.

Beautiful hotel, well looked after with excellent decor and spacious rooms. The little details especially in the presentation of the food is charming. Extremely generous in all meals. Staff are really polite and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Scented rooms and excellent bed mattress, slept like a baby.

Asked for two sheets on the twin bead, wasn't set. Shower enclosure was a little dated and small could be nicer with a walk-in one (wouldn't mind paying extra money for that). Biscuits in the room were stale, lemonade was so watered down, might as well have been sparkling water (worth mentioning as it was expensive). Breakfast was amazing but plate was super small, could be awesome to have hams, cheeses and a few different loafs on offer too.

Lulworth longe Our stay was absolutely exceptional. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was a real highlight – WOW! Every meal we had looked amazing and tasted even better. The quality and presentation of the food were top class. The service was outstanding as well. Everyone was friendly, professional and always happy to help. If we needed anything or had any small problem, they were quick to sort it out. You really can't ask for better service, food or atmosphere. Definitely a top-rated place for us and somewhere we would happily stay again. 10/10 – highly recommended!

Große Empfehlung - schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen.

Das Frühstück und die Lage waren fantastisch. Man ist direkt am Strand und hat ein wundervolles Frühstück dabei. Auch die anderen Mahlzeiten und Getränke sind absolut top. Die englischen Preise sind natürlich nicht ohne aber hier eindeutig das Geld wert.

Die Zimmer sind doch sehr klein und das ist mit kleinem Baby etwas mühsam, da er weder krabbeln oder was anderes kann. Ich würde es eher als Pärchen empfehlen. Dafür ist es leicht ausreichend.

mooi kleinschalig hotel vlakbij de zee, heerlijk eten , zalig om er te verblijven.

jammer dat je niet even met de wagen tot aan het hotel kan om de bagage uit te laden, auto dient geparkeerd op een grote parking bij het binnenrijden van het gehucht. Je moet dan toch een 200 meter aan je bagage zeulen, want we dierven toch ook geen waardevolle zaken in de auto laten. Het hotel zelf kan hier uiteraard niets aan veranderen.

Sustainability culture, staff always helpful, good coffee bags and variety of teas in room, breakfast and dinner beautifully cooked, far enough from beach to avoid crowds but still with view of sea.

Handrail for second floor too wide for easy grip, room not large enough for a chair or space to lay things flat other than the bed.

Staff were lovely, bar and outside seating were excellent, breakfast was very good with great coffee, service spot on. The position of the hotel is outstanding 100m from the cove

We booked a king room which was very small, only one chair, very limited space in the bathroom with nowhere to put your toiletries. Noise from outside from 5am was unbearable, it was very warm during our stay so windows had to be open and we could hear every vehicle, delivery, dog walker, staff arriving for work etc.

The fire alarms kept goin off in the night and early morning, this is something that would be out of the control of the staff and the alarm company were called out several times to identify a problem but it kept happening, just stands out to me as i am a very anxious person and this made me feel uneasy and unable to totally relax i must state that this is the only negative

Had a room at the side (8) which was lovely & quiet on the 1st night. We upgraded to a 'better' room (3) on the 2nd night that although was front facing we found a lot noisier.

Literally the only problem was that I couldn’t find bbc1 on the tv so couldn’t watch the Portugal World Cup game. That’s it!!

Breakfast all days, dinner two days and lunch one day were all fabulous as was the location. Staff were amazing and the dog friendly element was fantastic. Housekeeper was lovely.

Room was a bit small and over the rear bin storage and kitchen area. Some bin and fan noise but not late evening or early morning so didn't disturb sleep. Room needs a few more shelves as does the bathroom plus a few more pictures.

Location is excellent and that is what you are paying for. The breakfast was also excellent.

But the size of the room for the price was a big surprise even when described as a "small room". Bathroom was also basic based on the price paid.

The beautiful location. Only 40 minutes walk to Durdle Door.

Being in a dog friendly room had to climb 2 very steep stairs wells. Additional hook for coats and dog lead, harness etc would be great. Only hooks on the bathroom door for towels

It was perfect for what we were looking for. Ideally situated, the Breakfast was outstanding and the staff so friendly. Beautiful view from our room.

We recently stayed at Lulworth Lodge and, first and foremost, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and couldn't have done any more for us during our stay. Especially Edward, who offered usnanlate check-out, as we had booked the Sauna. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, with beautiful views, and the food was excellent throughout. Ironically, after a previous night's stay elsewhere where noise between rooms was a major issue, we thought we'd struck gold when we were allocated Room 12, tucked away at the very back of the hotel. We assumed we'd finally get a peaceful night's sleep, far removed from the tourists and activity at the front. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Once again, noise travelling between rooms proved to be a problem. At 6:00am, we were awoken by next door their loud TV, and also them repeatedly clicking their fingers, and coughing. Perhaps it's just bad luck on our part! None of this is the fault of the hotel, of course, but it does highlight how much sound seems to travel between rooms. The whole point of coming away is to relax, switch off, and recuperate. Sadly, that becomes rather difficult when you're reminded that other human beings exist. There were also a few maintenance issues with the room that detracted from the stay. The TV wasn't working, which was disappointing when trying to unwind in the evening. The extractor fan in the bathroom also didn't work, meaning that when we had a shower in the morning, the steam seemed to set off the fire alarm. The shower itself seemed to have a mind of its own. One minute the temperature was perfect, the next it was scalding hot, and moments later freezing cold, with absolutely no adjustment made at our end. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to it. That said, the positives still outweigh the negatives.

Small double is small and difficult to walk past to get to the other side of the bed. The gentleman said it was a king size bed but its a double.

Locatie is mooi, dicht bij de cove en de vele wandelingen. Kamer had zicht op de zee. Diner en ontbijt waren prima.

Bed was zacht en we rolden steeds naar het midden. Parkeren is op een paar minuten lopen.

What a fabulous place to stay! The hotel and room was lovely, the food was amazing and Ellie and the team were all so welcoming, friendly and could not have been more accommodating. We took the dog who was made very welcome too, and the location is ideal for beautiful walks and is right by the sea. Perfect. Will definitely be returning!

We booked Lulworth Lodge as it was located in the best position in Lulworth Cove, booking the largest room with a sea view (#1). It was large, airy and light. But it was the staff that made our visit special. All were so friendly and helpful, as well as efficient, always smiling and remembering us from the previous meal or interaction. And the meals were delicious ! And nothing was too much trouble. I'd highly recommend Lulworth Lodge.

We only stayed for one night because the room was too small, and the view was not what we had expected.

The bathroom door was only halfway open, making it difficult to get through. Anyone who is larger in size would likely find this very frustrating.

Cosy, peaceful hideaway in a busy village in May. Would be very different on high days snd holidays. Food very good. Bed comfortable, rooms small. If fine weather the outside area would be very busy.

Limited sitting area for guests if wet. No room for easy chairs in the bedroom. One site and two chairs downstairs

The hotel was incredibly cozy, and the staff were all so well-mannered and polite. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and shown to our room. The young lad and lady working there gave exceptional service and were extremely friendly and approachable. The room was extremely clean and warm. The food was incredible. I had the burger; the presentation was perfect, and the burger itself was extremely tasty. My partner had the aubergine, which was also extremely tasty. There were no complaints at the dinner service, as it was fast and well worth the money. For dessert, I had the key lime pie, which was really good. My partner had the dark chocolate mousse, which was just ridiculously good. Hands down, one of the best food services we have had the pleasure to experience.
