Location, very comfortable bed and reasonably priced. My go to guesthouse when in Sen Monorom.
Place easy to find
No elevator for high floors
It was fine. The restaurant was closed, but we could borrow a teapot and glasses to make our own tea.
Restaurant was closed, and if it would have been open, breakfast options were small.
Amazing feeling 😺
Reasonably priced. Clean
Shower didn’t work very well
We enjoyed it a lot. The staff is very kind and helpful. Air conditioning, location and the coffee + breakfast were amazing. Thank you for everything 🙏😊
Very friendly manageress.
Beds we're very good
Staff did not speak english. Kids that belong to the Hotel or Restaurant Played all day long Video games in the Lobby, that was very annoying since they we're speaking while playing and the Game itself was loud too.
Comfortable and quiet even though it was on a main road. Wi-Fi was fast and staff were lovely.
Nothing
The bathroom was clean, but it would be great if the toilet's cover was fixed.
The receptionist should have better communication skills regardless of who the guests are.
Family is very sweet and helpful. Great for a quick stay/if you're out to Mondulkiri for a day
WiFi didn't work, but data coverage was fine.
Only stayed one night after jungle trek as conveniently located close to bus pickup points in town. Excellent value - room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable after 2 days of wet jungle trekking.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when I went for dinner.
We arrived to Avocado at around midnight and the guesthouse was very accommodating in allowing us to check in so late. The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and tidy. For a one night stay, it was perfect.
The bedding looked a bit old but it was still clean.
Rooms pretty basic but clean. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, who arranged my tours to nearby coffee plantation, mountain view and waterfall. All splendid excursions. Breakfast and good coffee is available in the coffee shop at an additional charge. Many restaurants nearby serving Khmer food and a good Italian restaurant near the square all at walking distance.
Sometimes no power and Wi-Fi not that good. Installing solar would help,
Huge bed and clean it’s value with the price
Stair not light enough at night
Massive comfortable beds, clean room and centrally located. As female travelers we felt safe.
Super friendly staff that are happy to help booking any tours & travel and for advice in general. It was clean comfy room and they offered a room clean every day. Good location!
Very thin walls:( we got unlucky with their being an unexpectedly large and extremely loud concert going ahead right outside the hotel the whole time we were there. Couldn’t relax or sleep until it stopped - felt like the bass was shaking our room!
The room was spacious and clean. The staff was kind and helpful.
The room was clean and simple but that's all we needed as we just wanted to sleep there. It was an easy walk to the bus station and to the restaurants.
The staff were excellent and very helpful in settling us in and helping us arrange travel. We really appreciated their hospitality. Their coffee drinks that we sampled were excellent both hot and cold.
Things are a bit run down. The place is showing its age.
Staff were lovely and woke up to our late arrival from Mondulkiri. Very well priced for what we needed :) 2 star hotel and it was what we expected so it was good :) close walk to buses and Main Street.
Good coffee
Dirty bathroom, tv didn't work. On site coffee shop closed at 16.00 and was told we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant at 19.00
Good location with nice personel, low price.
There was a mold in the room on the ceiling and in the bathroom on the sink.
The family is very friendly. The room is comfortable and well equipped. There is also a restaurant in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is very well located, in the city center.
- large room, super clean, with A/C & fan - location, easy to walk to any restaurant or bus companies nearby - cheap and delicious breakfast options - owner/manager can organize services for you (tour booking, bus etc.)
The room window doesn’t open on the street but on the corridor that has some outdoor facing windows, but that’s a detail in my opinion. In fact this is probably less noisy as a result !
Stayed here for one night before visiting the elephants, good place for a night. Very comfortable beds in huge rooms. The host is very helpful too.
The shower in our room was a bit on the weak side but still worked. There was a power cut in the town when we first got there but they have a backup generator although the AC can’t be used with the generator.
good place with a big room and good price
Central location, close to the elephants, tasty breakfast and very good coffee. The people managing the property were also very polite and spoke decent English.
The bathroom needs a very serious clean, it has a specific mouldy smell to it. The bed was also very hard.
You get what you pay for
Small of sewage in bathroom. Really not a problem in the the grand scheme of life
Location within 5 minutes walk of the bus station and town centre. Great quality and good priced breakfast. Cheapest accommodation with aircon in town. Friendly staff who helped us plan our day trips
Bathroom needs work, old and a bit mouldy
Well run place amongst a covid ravaged tourism province. Any problems were addressed straight away. We stayed an extra night.
Fair price
Toilets and shower broken, TV did not work. The shower leaked, leaving the bathroom always very wet. Impossible to be in the bathroom without getting cold water on your feet.
Very clean and comfortable room.Good location close to town centre and local restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
The price
Please AVOID this guest house because they STEAL!!! We had the WORST experience here, someone from their staff STOLE $100 from my wife's wallet and it's terrible because they did it while we went in the morning to have breakfast right at their place, downstairs! What they did was that they replaced the $100 note we had with a copy. My wife and i realized this because her wallet was put in another place in her bag and then she checked and saw what they did. Of course we immediately went and told the person who was at the reception then, and he called his boss, the owner of the guest house, and the woman who cleaned our room that morning. The woman did not believe us, she said that we had a fake banknote from the beggining, or that the cash machine, the ATM gave us a fake one, which is absolutely absurd and Impossible! We told her to call the police, the police came and they didn't speak english at all and they found no other solution in the end, than the owner to give us $50 and they left. That because the woman also refused to show us the footage from the surveillance cameras in that time frame, staying that it would take 3 days to verify. That is another LIE, because she knew we leave in the next day in Vietnam and thus being left with no other solution for us to recover our money. HORRiBLE experience, we share it here so other people know if they choose to stay at this guess house. And ONE MORE THING, be aware of the YOUNGEST MAN at the reception, because we know that he stole our money and he was covered up!!
Location, breakfast available, clean room with hooks to hang clothes, shelves and table. Not common for a guesthouse otherwise.
Warning: before going out in the evening, make sure that the receptionist notices. There is no option to unlock the doors for the guests themselves once he goes to sleep. There is a half-functioning bell at the door to wake him up. One day i came back at 23.30 and rang for quite some time to wake him up.
Nice people - and a kettle!
No tea in the room to go with the kettle! D’oh!
probably I would like the location if it wouldn’t be that mouldy.
it was really dirty, almost whole bathroom was covered in mould, the rest of a room smelled like mould, bedding and the pillows as well
Clean and comfortable room right in the center. The staff were nice and helpful, and they organized a day tour by tuktuk for us for a good price. Good coffee and some vegetarian choices for breakfast at the downstairs café. There's plenty of cheap local places to eat dinner just down the road.
Staff is friendly
Wifi does not work
The place is okay for a night or two taking into account where it is located. The room has hairdryer so we were able to dry the clothes a bit (we were there during the rainy season)
No so clean and the bathroom a bit disgusting... If you have a shower or use the tap in general the bathroom turn into a pool.
really good place, near to the town center, the staff is just amazing, so much nice people, the food is good also, I recommend this guest house 🥰
Very comfortable and clean room. Central location. Friendly and helpful staff.
No issues at all.
The owner is lovely, so very helpful, organized the bus for me and rang it before it's arrival. The location is also fantastic.. a 10 min walk to the centre.
Unfortunately, The bed was very damp and the room smelt musty. The room was nothing like the description on Booking. Com.. a kettle, but no cups, tea or coffee, nowhere to hang clothes, only a few hooks on the wall, and no toilet paper, which may have been an oversight.
The location and the flexibility of date changing.
No kettle :(
