Reviewed Sep 15, 2026I was curious about the LP Bar thats why I wanted to stay in this place :) I am a huge fan of these unique places in ROK. It was a very clean, convenient place. easy to walk around, close to the most of the places that you would like to visit.
there are only two things I didnot like about the place: 1- the kitchenette amenities is weak. The water dispenser was very slow, there is only microwave but no sink for kitchen kind of use. If they have a little corner as a proper kitchenette that would be great. 2- the LP bar was the only reason I travelled all the way from where I live, was great. But the speakers were horrible. You have to fix the speakers, man! It was not fun nor confortable to have a seat and enjoy the music! Imagine, I went there only for this, but I left the place after 2-3 songs, even couldnt wait for my requested songs to be played. The speaker need to be fixed immediately! It also feels very bad when you sleep upstairs, a very bad quality sound comes from downstairs. If the sound system is good no problem at all.

C'est 100% sans contact... C'est trop cher par rapport ce qui est proposé (même si c'est la basse saison) Les lits sont très sommaire, il y a un "matelas" que l'on se sent pas...donc j'ai passé 2 nuits à dormir sur du bois La "salle de bain", il y a un lavabo minuscule pas pratique quand on se lave les mains, brosse les dents, nettoie le visage, etc

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026L'essentiel est là, et c'est tout à fait suffisant (bon rapport qualité-prix) Le propriétaire est un passionné de musique, ça vaut le coup de faire un tour dans son bar à l'étage en dessous de la guest house (vinyles, instruments et super système son) mais tout est bien insonorisé, nous n'entendons rien depuis la guesthouse !

Reviewed May 17, 2026리뷰 꼼꼼히 보고 예약했는데 불만족인 분들 몇몇계시던데... :) 이가격에 넘 깨끗하고 위치도 좋아서 가성비 최고인듯 합니다. 특히 아랫층 뮤직바는 사운드 넘사벽. 마치 콘서트장 온거같음. BTS 뷔 게릴라 콘서트 장소였던 곳인줄은 나중에 알았어요ㅋ 이런 좋은 문화공간을 제공해 주셔서 감사합니당 사장님~ 강릉가면 꼭 재방문 하겠습니다.

Reviewed May 9, 2026중심시내와 중앙시장이 걸어서 갈만큼 접근성이 좋고 숙소도 거의 시내라 노브랜드버거 투썸플레이스 커피점등 대부분의 식당이 바로근처고 버스정류장이 아주 가깝고 무엇보다도 사장님께서 넘넘 친절하시고 침대마다 개별 전기매트가 있어서 집처럼 잘 잘수있었고 게다가 깨끗한 숙소라 적극 추천 합니다. 감사합니다 사장님 잘 쉬다갑니다

De plus, l'endroit est à 5min à pied du marché traditionnel de Gangneung et en face des arrêts de bus, hyper pratique. J'ai aussi adoré le fait qu'on ait accès au bar du dessous et puisse suggérer de passer nos morceaux de musique préférés

Olisin kaivannut tarkennusta ennen varaamista majoituksen alla olevasta baarista ja siitä kuinka kovaa musiikkia soitetaan. Musiikin piti vaieta klo 00.00 mutta jatkui vielä 00.30 asti kumpanakin yönä. Musiikki oli myös aivan äärimmäisen kovalla. Laulun sanat kuuli kuin vierestä kuultuna, vaikka oli eri kerroksessa. Kun kävin baarin puolella totesin musiikin olevan korvia särkevällä tasolla, joten baarissa ei voinut edes istua nautiskelemassa.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The facilities were well kept and the manager was really helpful/flexible! It was also cool to check out the bar below and listen to their music.
It would be helpful to have more hooks, towel bars, or shelves in the shower space to hold shower gear. That way clothes and personal toiletries would be better kept and more accessible.

Reviewed Nov 19, 2025Location is easy to get to by foot or by bus from the bus station. Shower was great, even has male & female hair stations with lights, mirror, chairs & hairdryer if that's important to you. I was there on a Sunday night so 'no music' Great communal space. Bus stops close by to go anywhere, the lake, the beach etc Food market close by.
No kettle, no kitchen as such but is a fridge & water dispenser. Beds are very uncomfortable, no heating but you have an electric blanket but rooms are cold. No staff on premises. On 3rd floor with no lift if you have large/heavy cases.

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025- Ich habe direkt nach der Buchung angefragt, ob es möglich wäre ein unteres Bett/bottom bunk bed zu bekommen. Daraufhin meinte man ich solle mich einen Tag vor Ankunft noch einmal deswegen melden. Gesagt, getan. Dann wurde mir gesagt dass es nach dem Motto 'wer zuerst, kommt mahlt zuerst' abläuft. War natürlich kein Problem für mich, dann habe ich schlimmstenfalls ein oberes Bett; das habe ich ihnen auch geantwortet. Daraufhin schrieb man mir dass man ein Buch auf ein unteres Bett gelegt, und somit für mich reserviert hat :) Das fand ich extrem lieb. Noch einmal Danke dafür <3 - alles sauber und modern eingerichtet - Selbst-Check-In verlief reibungslos - obwohl eine Musikbar unten im Gebäude war, war alles sehr ruhig (ich habe zumindest nie etwas gehört) - Lage war gut - man konnte Wertgegenstände direkt über/an seinem Bett verschließen - Schuhe konnten am Eingangsbereich verschlossen werden
- man konnte keine Wäsche waschen - für Frauen und Männer jeweils nur eine Dusche und eine Toilette für die gesamte Etage - keine Vorhänge am Bett, daher keine Privatsphäre

Reviewed Aug 2, 2025The hostel is nice end worth for the price. The real gem is the bar run by the hosts at 1F. Just Amazing, the hosts have vinyl collection, when your order you can also chose 3 songs, no matter what only rule is hip hop, rap and elttronic music (dance, edm, tecno ecc) are not allowed. The bue run from 8pm to 12pm and I think everybody should go and enjoy the selection.
If they put curtains at every bed should be super appreciated by guests.

I’m not talking about the non-existent curtains as you can already see it on the pictures. However there is only one female and one male shower and it was almost always occupied during the peak hours because everyone got changed inside the shower and washed their face in the shower as the whole hostel only has one small single sink. They also have heating blankets but they are not covered.. and I think they don’t wash them so I don’t know about the hygiene. I put the blanket on the side…

Reviewed Apr 26, 2025It's a lovely place. It's really clean and it's near lots of restaurants. The LP bar downstairs was incredible. I had such a great time listening to all the music selections.
The kitchen could use some spoons and chopsticks. There are several chairs/stools but a sofa would make it even more comfortable. But these are minor things. I really loved the guesthouse.

Shower was either too hot or too cold, took ages to find an appropriate temperature. Also there was no area to get dressed in the shower room and there was no place to brush your teeth privately, had to just do it in the middle of the common area. Also, on both nights the music was pretty loud. The bar downstairs is cool but you have to keep in mind that it can definitely be heard from the rooms.

It’s actually located on the 3rd floor of the commercial building so it lacks central heating; however, it is equipped with radiators and electric blankets on the bed, which keep me wonderfully warm during the night. Furthermore, the premises are impeccably clean and tidy.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2024The guesthouse had wonderful common area that was quite big. There was a fridge and microwave to use and a water machine for cold and hot water. The room was quite spacious.
You could hear the music from the bar between 9 and 12 pm but it was not too loud so if you are not sensitive it's okay or you can bring earplugs.
