Le Pandanus

The staff was carrying and friendly, the room is spacious with an incredible lagoon view! We had delicious diners and breakfast.I recommend 100% the Pandanus!

Location, great view, spa bath, good bed, tasty food at restaurant

Hot water limited by sun water heater: no sun, rain, clouds, night - no hot water. Weak water flow. No separate shower - sit in the bath, pour water over yourself from the nearly broken showerhead. Religious gospels as only music at restaurant. My room was completely visible from the shared balcony. No coffee for breakfast! Out of stock. Sometimes no wifi.

Superbe établissement dans l'esprit de Rodrigues avec une équipe à son image, très sympathique arrangeant et serviable. Une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil tous les soirs.

On a eu des chambres côté piscine bien vieilles contrairement à ceux de devant! Il y a eu un problème de clim la première nuit et on a découvert l'autre partie..c'etait décevant qu'on a eu les vieux🥺 Mérite grandement une bonne maintenance, TV captait pas l'internet dans notre chambre pendant 4 jours malgré qu'on a informé le personnel qui savait déjà !!! La peinture des salles de bain des chambres côté piscine laisse a désirer,la douche était cassé! Piscine pas nettoyer correctement, excès de chlore,les enfants ont eu des allergies🥺

Les repas et les petits déjeuners sont bons. La vue est belle

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le personnel était à l'écoute de nos demandes et d'une très grande gentillesse. Notre chauffeur, Mike, a été d'une grande aide pour nos déplacements sur l'île. La chambre était propre et confortable. Les repas (dîner et petit déjeuner) étaient servis à l'assiette et cela nous convenait parfaitement. Tout était délicieux. Nous recommandons cet hôtel d'un très bon rapport qualité prix.

L'hôtel aurait besoin de quelques travaux mais cela enlèverait l'authenticité des lieux.

L emplacement est parfait, un arrêt de bus tout proche, et pas loin de Port Mathurin l' établissement est très propre , les chambres confortables, grandes et avec une magnifique vue. Le personnel est souriant et serviable, prêt à vous aider pour toutes demandes . Le restaurant est très bon, cuisine variée et excellente.

The staff was really very kind and attentive, breakfast was fine and the room was big with a nice balcony facing the sea.

It’s a bit isolated, therefore best thing is to rent a car. Transfers with taxis are expensive.

Lovely relaxing stay. Friendly staff that take good care of their guest's. Meals were flavourful & well presented.

Back area surrounding pool needs to be cleared of building materials & vegetation. The resort needs to be tidied up & maintained better in order to present well for all guests.

The fact that you cannot use the front beach was a bit sad but not them fault just rock fish being there so best not to go, some issues with the wifi (but few days cut off the world can only be good) 😉

Breakfast needs more variety

Detailed cleaning of the rooms and toilets. Kitchen smells coming through the terrace and infested the room which made the atmosphere awful. Please consider to have proper exhaust fans. Hope next time we visit we will have a better setup.

The accommodation was on the sea front with lovely views. Breakfast was eggs, fruit, jam, cheese, bread, tea, coffee and fruit juice. All made fresh. Evening meals were also very nice

There was building work during our stay so was noisy through the day. We also had a power cut on our first night whilst eating dinner. This was for the island (not just the accommodation) so they weren't to blame. There could have been a back up ready to use on such occasions as I believe this happens often. Was only the once during our stay though.

They let me use their kitchen. Very helpful and friendly.

A very good guest house in the quiet side of Rodrigues with awesome owner & staff. They were very prompt with all our requests - including food, sight seeing and airport drop. The owner Christian and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. On our last day, Christian took us around Rodrigues to show us sights, which tourists rarely get to see!

The property is not at all like it is shown online, the swimming pool is dirty, the paint is worn off in the room. Very mediocre service. There is water issues when you can all of a sudden stop gettinf water. electricity issues as well, no generator if there is power cut.

I paid very high price for a room with spa bath but it wasnt in good condition, dirt was coming from the part of the spa bath. I was not allowed to fill water to enjoy a bath, since they said water issues. Not value for money at all! I would say its robbery! DONT DO MISTAKE TO BOOK THERE! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY ON A CRAP!

Hospitable and very flexible staff. Lovely room with views of Baie Malgache. Easy access to public transport.

It had a spa bath , but I would have preferred a shower instead.

Breakfast waa better than expected. Although construction going in nextdoor, sleep was pleasant.

Water turned off in the morning after breakfast. Didn’t ask why since I had to change places anyways.

I love everything about this place. Great service, clean room with an amazing view of the ocean. The food was great too. Highly recommended

Nothing

The staff, especially Mike were just wonderful - kind caring and nothing was too much effort. We could really make the most of our visit to this beautiful island because of Mike's tireless efforts. Always on time, always friendly and really embodying the friendliness of these wonderful people. Breakfast, although simple was tasty and more than sufficient and the service was attentive and kind. The sunsets were stunning.

Some maintenance issues, like a missing TV in one room. I would also have liked a more welcoming pool area with some loungers and some umbrellas to make it a nicer place to hang out. The pool table needs fixing and the wines available were of poor quality and even by local standards overpriced. There is not really a swimmable beach in walking distance from the hotel so everything was a drive. Although the hotel is on the coast it's not in an area where you can enjoy the ocean.

I can give Christopher and his staff 10 stars they are fantastic. The ladies who did the breakfast, the kitchen staff, and the cleaning staff. Christina, Michael,the staff in the kitchen during the day, and of course our wonderful chef at night were amazing. The room was basic but clean with a lovely view of the ocean. The big downside was the continuous partying and noise from the downstairs area, for 3 nights the partying and drinking went well after 1,30 am and we battled to get rest. We had a superior twin room with sea view however there were many things on the booking.com room confirmation that were not in the room. Listed as follows: Washing machine, Desk is a minute shelf, no soundproofing, TV did not work, no slippers no additional toilet, no laptop safe, entire unit was on the 1st floor not the ground floor. WiFi is non existent and we battled with this. The lighting is the room is poor and one light did not work, we did report this but it was not attended to.

Our stay was incredible- The lovely staff was very helpful and kind. The room is fantastic! We enjoyed the large and comfy bed and the breathtaking ocean views. The food was also excellent- we had great breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The view was fantastic and the staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly...we did a couple of day tours, the owner christian took us one day and Mike took us the second day ..tour was fun enjoyable and very informative

The shower pressure was very erratic and the lack of dinner choices

wonderful guest house, managed by extraordinary local peoples and sustaining ecotourism in its full design - just in front of bus station we have visited every corner of the isle for 3 weeks by bus and walking. amazing unforgettable experience, speechless
