The owner prepared a delicious breakfast for us, even though it wasn't listed as an option on Booking.com. We are extremely grateful for her amazing hospitality! Truly a wonderful place to stay – highly recommended!

Gościnna i komunikatywna właścicielka. Duże pokoje z nowoczesnymi oknami. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, perfekcyjnie czysta łazienka. Plaża 3 minuty spacerem.

Przydałoby się podzielić taras na pół, prysznic mógłby działać lepiej.

Hotel Krish was such a lovely surprise - we had a one night stopover, only to find an amazing deserted beach just across the road, a fabulous host in Krish and the best Sri Lankan breakfast that we had during our stay. We would definitely recommend!

Muy buen hotel con pocas habitaciones. La dueña Krish fue muy atenta con nosotros. Pudimos dejar las maletas hasta la hora del check in, nos consiguió una moto y nos recomendó buenos sitios a los que ir (playas y restaurantes).

Todo estuvo genial.

Chambre et salle de bain très confortables, et c’est bien appréciable d’avoir la petite terrasse devant. La plage de Kalkudah est à deux pas à pied et celle de Passikudah accessible aussi. La responsable est sympathique et peut proposer des petits plats locaux. On recommande.

Les finitions autour ne sont pas tout à fait terminées mais le jardin est déjà joli

Good value for the price. quite a small hotel which you shouldnt expect too much like dining room for breakfast etc. Staff was very lovely and helpful.

Best part of the beach is quite far. it is in walking distance but in heat it is quite a distance u need to take ricksha. Other beach, which is not comfortable to swim, is very nearby.

Large and comfortable rooms, 2' away from the beautiful beach. Very good breakfast. Krish is a great host.

Lovely little bungalows just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Lovely staff and delicious vegetarian breakfast. Nice cat and dogs.

Die Inhaberin vom Hotel hat uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer war besonders sauber und man hatte alles, was man brauchte. Abends konnten wir gemütlich auf der Terrasse sitzen und am Morgen bekamen wir ein leckeres Sri Lanka Frühstück - frisch zubereitet. Das Hotel liegt keine 5min vom Sandstrand entfernt. In der Umgebung findet man einige gute Fischrestaurants. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen.

Очень уютный и тихий отель. Расположен в 3 минутах ходьбы от океана. Криш - хозяйка отеля - очень приятная, милая и отзывчивая, готовая помочь в решении любого вопроса. При этом ее сервис ненавязчив. Территория отеля ухоженная, растут высокие деревья, дающие приятную тень в знойный день. Бунгало чистые и просторные, со свежим ремонтом. Кровать большая с очень удобным матрасом. Ванная комната тоже порадовала своими размерами. Брали завтраки. Без изысков, но все свежеприготовленное и вкусное. Остались очень довольны отдыхом! Спасибо Криш!!!

Sehr liebe Gastgeberin und super Frühstück

Simple and clean apartment owned by a very friendly person. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room was located near a nice beach.

There were insects in the bathroom and frogs coming out of the washbasin. Considering it’s the countryside this seems fine but may be quite scary for those who are not used to having so much nature at home. Many electrical sockets in the bedroom were not working.

The staff were generally pleasant and smiling. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the hotel is well located, close to two nice beaches: one more touristy with hotels, the other very quiet and peaceful.

Service was not as attentive as in other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. A dinner we requested by WhatsApp before arrival was not available once on site, with no reply to our message. Breakfast was also only available from 8:30 am, which meant we had to leave on an excursion with an empty stomach. One of our rooms had a strong bathroom smell, covered with air fresheners that made the atmosphere unpleasant. Few power sockets were working, and we also found insects and small frogs in the bathrooms.

Es war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Besitzerin war wirklich super lieb und hat uns ein tolles Frühstück gemacht. Sie ist sehr tierlieb und kümmert sich um ihre Gäste sehr gut. Sie ist ein wirklich toller Mensch, den es sich zum kennenlernen lohnt!

Eventuell könnte man Fliegengitter beim Badezimmer anbringen aber das war auch kein großes Problem.

We had a wonderfull stay with a wonderfull breakfast. The place is super tidy and the host is very very friendly. She showed us around her garden and was always there for any question we had. We would come back!

The hotel is very cute, close to Kalkudah Beach which is a really quiet beach to relax. If the purpose is to enjoy the beach, this is a really good spot. The room was big enough and confortable for us. The owner is a very kind lady. Made us breakfast 2 times, one of those times we didn't ask earlier and she found a way to make us a really good meal.

The guesthouse is still under construction, with building work going on. Also, the room has eletric wires showing. All of these minor things don't impact the experience at all.

This is a fantastic little accommodation! Less than a minute away from a perfect beach (golden sands, coconut trees, calm blue waters). There was no one else on the beach on both days that we went. Mrs Krish is a lovely and attentive host, she was kind enough to cook us delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and fish curry for dinner. The rooms are big, comfy, clean and have strong AC and a ceiling fan. Within walking distance from a few restaurants, shops, ATM. Would definitely stay again!

Lean, comfortable, friendly

Ms. Krish is a charming and energetic woman. The Beach is with once across the road good and easy to reach. Since Ms Krish has a big heart for animals, especially for dogs, you should also find dogs great. These belong like the loving hostess to the accommodation. The food in the morning and evening can be predetermined in consultation and is very tasty. All wishes are fulfilled if possible. Many and heartfelt thanks

Shower was broken and the water pressure is low on hand shower which made us uncomfortable after long journey. Hope this matter will be fixed soon.

Excellent location, opposite the beach. We swam in the water and it was clean and safe. Room is basic but everything we needed for the nights stay. Large bed, TV, shower. The host was very helpful, and quickly prepared our rooms even though we arrived early.

This is a budget accommodation option, but the prices reflect the facilities. Very reasonable price.

The room was spacious and clean. Had all the required facilities. Located in walking distance to the beach. But if you want to have a bath you need to go to the Pasikuda public beach which is around 1km away. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Felt like a home stay with additional comforts such as air con and large bathroom. Krish is an amazing woman who, with grace and modesty, welcomes guests with open arms and an open heart. She cooked us delicious meals and ensured we had all we needed. The location is perfect to access 2 breathtaking beaches and a selection of restaurants on foot. 2 wonderful nights!

Would benefit from mosquito nets for peace of mind (mainly from a few little beetles - there weren’t many mozzies and Krish kindly lent us a repellent plug)

It’s a nice place and Krish is very nice.

The mattress was hard as a rock and we got waken up at 6am by someone cutting wood in front of our bedroom. Not anyone’s fault but the dogs made it very hard to sleep since they howled from midnight to 2am ish.

The best part of the place is the owner - Krish. She is simply superb. What a kind and welcoming person she is. We loved our stay here. The place is a stone's throw from the beach and everything you need for a peaceful stay is easily available. The absolute highlight of our trip was the breakfast and dinner Krish cooked for us. It was tasty, authentic and lovely. Our stay here exceeded all our expectations, and we will definitely return.

Hospitality was great.

We only stayed one night on our way from Nilaveli to Arugam Bay. It was a lovely stop though, with a very sweet and kind host.

Krish’ place is perfect. Spacious bedroom & bathroom, immaculately clean. AC & fan are both available so you can choose. Location is perfect situated between Kalkudah & Pasikuda Beach. You can use the local hotel for a small charge (Laya $3 Uga $8). Krish and her staff are very kind & welcoming. Krish really is an incredible woman, goes above and beyond for her guests. We had a meal across the road that did not satisfy & after reading reviews about Krish’ food (request in advance) we had an exceptional meal of prawns, rice and curry. Thank you so much Krish, it was a pleasure meeting you. 2 nights wasn’t enough. Expect a quiet area with no WiFi, clean, comfortable and spacious- you will not be disappointed! Sri Lankan breakfast was also superb.

Queen Krish is a power lady. She build the place, she manages the place, she is all round. Together with another lady she make this place unique.

The room was big, spacious, bright and very clean! Everything seemed to be quite new and in excellent shape. Krish is a lovely women, who cooked us incredible prawns for dinner and great Sri Lankan breakfast. The hotel is only 1 minute away from the beach, which is very convenient if you want to spend your days at the beach. I can definitely recommend this place!

You have another beach passikuda 1km far, for l'ESS rhan one dollar yiu can go by tuk yuk or by walk of not hot, and it is calm et very popular.

Vary comfortable and clean just a short walk from the beach Kish is a vary helpful host made us feel vary welcome.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Krish very much. The room was clean and AC important during those hot days. To visit the peaceful Kalkudah beach you only have to skip the road. Restaurants are not far away. Thumbs up also for the friendly owner. Definitely i would come again :)

The location is close to the beach and there are restaurants within walking distance, but we ate at the premises the food especially the Chilli prawns and vegetable Fried Rice was so good. The room was clean and comfortable and the air-con was a lovely respite from the heat. Lovely hosts.

Hotel Krish is the best value for money we have found in Sri Lanka. The room is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is modern and huge (has cold water only) and you’re a 1 minute walk from a lovely peaceful beach. Pasikudah Beach is a quick drive up the road. On arrival, we organised and paid for our dinner (amazing huge and fresh prawns with fried rice) and breakfast. Our host was really lovely and a great cook.

Not a dislike, just pointing out if you’d like to go sit on the beach for sunrise, let them know the night before or else the gate will be still locked.

The location is amazing, 50m from Kalkuda beach. The owner is very kind and helpful . The property is clean and very chill. We did a stopover and it was all you can wish for, its even suitable for more nights, if you wish to stay more.

Everything in the area is a little more expensive then elswhere, from restaurants, shops and other thing. You have to notify the owner in advance if you want any meals, so she can prepare them.

Quiet place next to the beach and very good food cooked by the owner who is indeed a super kind woman.

We made a family trip to Kalkuda and made a reservation thru booking.com, at Hotel Krish. It is a splendid home stay and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are A/C and very spacious with attached bathroom. The Kalkuda beach is also just walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and we did not feel the time is passing, They provided all three meals on request and the food was very tasty. The rates are very reasonable including the meals. I Highly recommended Hotel Krish if you are around Pasikudha or Kalkudha for your stay plus the bonus is that we can bring our loving pet as well. Thank you Hotel Krish. Till next time

Very Kind Owner

Don't get mistaken by the fact that the place does not have a lot of reviews. I have spent just 2 nights at this location but enjoyed a lot. The place is run by extremely hospitable couple. There is some kindness you can recognise at good people only. On request you can be served with tasty local food and they do what is only possible to make you feel comfortable. The place is very clean and built with solid materials to offer good standard (the photos available are real not tuned), though the resort is still under development and new improvements will come. At the current price it is a bergain what you get for the money paid !
