Magnifique endroit dans les nuages! Un bel endroit au calme et une prestation tres confortable.La vue depuis notte terrace etait juste incroyable. Le logement etait parfait pr 2, tres bien equipe et le panier d'accueil et prestation de menage tres apprecie. La piscine etait top.. nous en avons profite seul la plupart du temps .. l'eau etait parfait (aout)

Rien a dire sur le logement ou prestation...cetait top. Il faut juste penser a avoir une voiture avec un peu de puissance et etre a l'aise sur les routes de montagne.. c'est tres haut ! Lembrayage de notre voiture de location a lache jour 2!

Le cadre était magnifique, endroit tres calme, la piscine est un réel plus et elle était tres agréable La maison était tres bien équipée et à notre arrivée nous avons apprécié le panier de bienvenu avec des spécialités de l'île

Schitterende accommodatie, zeer rustig gelegen, vlakbij diverse wandelroutes.

Insgesamt präsentiert sich die Anlage sehr modern, sauber und hochwertig. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön, man blickt über das Meer (sofern das Wetter es zulässt...). Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht vorhanden; Küche und Bad lassen diesbezüglich keine Wünsche offen! Sehr praktisch ist, dass es einen separaten Raum neben dem Bungalow mit Waschmaschine und Trockner gibt. Wenn man Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe sucht, ist das eine gute Adresse!

Leider gibt es doch ein paar Punkte: - im Bad gibt es keine Heizung. Da war es also schnell kalt und somit ungemütlich! - keine reelle Kritik aber man muss es wissen: oben an der Unterkunft ist es bis zu 10° kühler als unten an der Küste! - auch keine reelle Kritik aber ebenfalls Fakt: das madeira-typische Wetter mit Nebel sorgt oft für eingeschränkte Sicht. - der Trockner funktionierte nicht. Obschon die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter via WhatsApp sehr schnell und problemlos verlief, wurde das Problem nicht gelöst. Wäsche aufhängen war dank Wäscheständer zwar möglich aber aufgrund des Wetters oft nur innen möglich. - der Pool ist zu der Jahreszeit zu kalt, um ihn mit Kindern zu nutzen. Ein beheizter Pool würde ein angenehmes Ausweichprogramm bei schlechtem Wetter ermöglichen.

Magnifique villa. Tres bien equipee avec une vue incroyable sur la cote et la mer. Idealement situee a 10 minutes du depart des plus belles randonnees mais aussi accès facile vers le nord de l ile, Calheta, Jardim do Mar... Jardin tres beau dans un espace clos et securise avec emplacement pour se garer. Le plus : la piscine tres agreable apres une journee de marche. Echanges clairs et faciles avec Garry

Alle Zimmer des Appartments waren sehr geräumig, einschließlich des Bades. Die Wohnung war hervorragend ausgestattet. Sehr genossen haben wir die absolute Ruhe und den fantastischen Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal war äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Neben einer Flasche Wein lagen Bananen, Brot, Käse und Wurst für uns bereit.

Da die Spülmaschine sehr groß war, hätte mehr Besteck da sein können. Aber man kann natürlich auch mit der Hand abspülen (:

We had such a lovely stay here and can wholeheartedly recommend this place! There are so many things to love, but one of the most special parts of our stay was the little cat who visits the house. He’s very gentle and never pushy — but if you’re an animal lover and offer him a bit of kindness (and maybe some cat food), he’ll reward you with purring and the sweetest cuddles. He truly adds a unique charm to this place 🐾 We were also welcomed with a generous basket full of local Madeira products — such a thoughtful and warm gesture. We don’t eat meat or drink alcohol, so we didn’t try everything, but there were still plenty of delicious treats for us to enjoy. The house itself is spotless, with beautiful views from the rooms, a functional bathroom, and a very well-equipped kitchen. Having access to a washing machine and dishwasher made everything even more comfortable — it really has everything you might need. The pool and jacuzzi are great, especially on hot days when you need to cool down — though on cooler days the water can be quite refreshing (or a bit chilly). The surroundings are absolutely magical — ocean views, peaceful nature, grazing cows, singing blackbirds, and that adorable cat create an unforgettable atmosphere. The garden is stunning as well, clearly very well cared for and full of lush greenery. On top of that, the hosts were kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place with a touch of local charm — and don’t mind making a furry friend along the way — this is truly a gem 💛

Дуже атмосферне місце, високо на горі, з краєвидом на океан і околиці. В будиночку було все необхідне і навіть більше) При заїзді - вино та снеки в подарунок. Поруч є ресторан, де дійсно дуже смачно.

Недоліків як таких не було. Єдиний момент - це житло для тих, хто на авто, добиратись громадським транспортом чи таксі буде складно.

Top Haus mit super Aussicht!!! Kontakt mit Vermieter war immer einfach möglich und sehr freundlich. Kleine Begrüßungsleckereien haben unseren rundum zufriedenen Eindruck nochmals abgerundet.

Utsikten var väldigt vacker. Fullt utrustat. Bilderna stämmer överens med vad man får.

Det fanns ställen där man kunde städat lite bättre. Men i det stora hela var detta inget problem.

- vor der Anreise bekommt man sehe hilfreiche Tipps zur Anfahrt - die Bungalows sind mitten zwischen Natur und Wiesen, man merkt nichts von den Nachbarn - jedes Bungalow hat einen Privatparkplatz und einen eigenen Schuppen mit Waschmaschine und Reinigungsutensilien - das Bungalow war etwas kleiner als ich es mir von dem Bildern her vorgestellt hatte, wird den Fotos aber absolut gerecht - die Ausstattung war klasse- egal ob Waschmittel, Teekanne, Kaffeefilter, Föhn oder Handtücher. Die Küche war top ausgestattet (Wasserkocher, Toaster, Geschirrspüler, zwei Kaffeemaschinen, Mikrowelle..alles da!) - alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich - der Blick ins Tal ist ein Traum, egal ob zum Frühstück oder zum Abendessen, es war besser als Fernsehen! - es gab einen sehr liebevoll befüllten Willkommenskorb mit Leckereien :) Wir haben zu zweit sechs Nächte verbracht und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

- keine Kritik, aber ein Hinweis: Man sollte Süßigkeiten abends wegräumen, es kann sonst sein dass sich über Nacht ein paar Ameisen verirren - die Unterkunft ist relativ abgelegen, das sollte man mögen. Wir wollten Urlaub in der Natur machen und haben es geliebt, abseits vom Trubel zu sein. Aber man sollte beachten dass es keine Geschäfte in Laufnähe gibt.

The location was exceptional for someone who prefer to travel and stay always outside of city’s and far from crowded places. The owner left us a beautiful hamper basket with traditional products, really great touch and we truly appreciated. BBQ, swimming pool and other facilities present around, easy access to all of them and easy access to other local attractions. The house was clean and with everything you needed. Amazing views, privacy, there is no much access to front of the house. There was hair dryer and even a hair straightener. Little cleaning kits, toothbrush, etc. and even a small comb. We were surprised that we have even been left 2 beach towels as well as 2 bathrobes. It has washing and drying facilities, a little laundry room attached to the house. We had everything we needed it and even more.

Lovely, spacious, modern and clean houses. Very quiet surroundings. Close to the sea (by car) and to Rabacal where you can start your hiking. Big terrace. We loved the place. The pool is indoor, which is very good - see below

It is not about the place, which itself is perfect but bear in mind that the place is 850 metres a.s.l. That means that there is at least 4-5 degrees below the temperature at the sea. And sometimes you are literally seating on the terrace in the middle of the cloud (see my pictures) Again - it is nothing against the place - it is absolutely perfect and the indoor pool helps (otherwise it would be kind of difficult to swim when outside temperature was e.g. 18 degrees) and maybe it was the specific weather we had during our stay (third week of August) but I think it is just good to know that it is not the seaside location for the heat and sun lovers 🙂 If you are not one of them and want to spend your holiday in a lovely house - do not hesitate to book.

Endroit calme avec une très belle vue, parfait pour se ressourcer.

Tout était très bien, la maison est conforme à l’annonce. Elle est spacieuse, peut être un peu sombre ,mais bien équipée et la literie est de bonne qualité. En revanche il faut signaler que l’altitude rend les journées fraîches même quand il fait très chaud en bas.

Het comfort zit hem vooral in de apparatuur. Het was allemaal netjes maar deed ook een beetje denken aan een blokhut.

I liked that the place was peaceful and quiet, offering a nice view when the sky was clear.

There was a strong sewage smell in the house whenever the kitchen tap was used. We also found there wasn’t enough toilet paper or shampoo — I had to message the owner, but he forgot to send them, so we ended up buying our own. The location, while offering a nice view, is very remote — be prepared to be in the middle of nowhere. It didn’t feel particularly clean, and the bathroom shower is in need of refurbishment. The house was also very humid inside, and bear in mind that the area is often covered in clouds, so you can’t enjoy the view all the time.

The property is located on top of the clouds 😁 you wake up with the best views and are surrounded by tranquility, we looked forward to returning to the place every night after a busy day of exploring to settle in and have a glass of wine with the view and peacefulness:) also you are super close to one of the best trails on the island! The kids loved the indoor pool, since you are a bit higher up, the temperature go down a bit so indoor pool was perfect for the early morning or late evening swims before or after we have return home.

We liked everything, but be prepared to not be in the centre of everything- quite the opposite. But we loved that part!

I loved everything about the property. Bathroom could have used some towel racks or hooks to dry larger towels. Maybe a comfy reading chair in the living area. Also, better warning to NEVER turn Left out of the property or let navigation direct up/down that way. VERY steep like 40° incline, single lane and no one around if the car cannot get up the incline and very scary!

Garry was a great communicator both before and during the stay. The accommodation was clean, spacious and well appointed.

I should have taken up Garry's offer to meet somewhere en-route to the property on arrival - Google Maps had a bad opinion on the right 'road' to take! Not Garry's fault at all, but a warning not to trust Google Maps would be welcome.

The villa was cute and big with gorgeous vista view , quiet , close to hiking and mountains . Away from hustle of Funchal yet quaint restaurants close . Pool was awesome

Getting there felt remote but then we loved it

We had a wonderful stay at Rochão Village. The accommodation is nestled in the hills, offering beautiful views and complete privacy. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from daily life. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped—there was nothing we missed during our stay. Catarina, the host, was incredibly helpful throughout and made us feel special. Thank you so much; we will definitely be back!

There is a beautiful pool, though the only downside is that it isn’t heated—so on cooler autumn days, we didn’t use it as much.

The house is spacious, clean, offers many amenities (fully equipped kitchen, tabs for both washing machine and dish washer, etc). It is located in a very quiet area and has an amazing view. We received all information in advance through WhatsApp which was very useful. We even got a nice welcome basket. Catarina answered all our questions very promptly in a professional and friendly manner. Overall: great stay!

The swimming pool is not heated, its temperature end of October was too low to enjoy it much.

Beautiful interior, well equipped bathroom and kitchen:) amazing view from balcony - great to eat breakfast/drink coffee or wine :) A welcome basket containing local delicacies and wines :) Very good contact with the host. The house was ready around 9am! Very close to bar (with delicious poncha) and very good restaurant. Highly recommend

Super clean accommodation with all appliences you may need including few coffee capsules as wells as dishwasher ones to start with. We also used washing machine and dryer which worked very well. It has amazing view from the terrase. Swimming pool temperature was good, not warm but not cold either. We were very happy with our stay.

A stunning view from this adorable cottage. Kitchen was stocked with all of our needs. Property was clean, pool was great. Staff was quick to respond. Very comfortable for a family of 4! We hope to be back!

Was a little difficult to find at first as it’s tucked away but we liked the quiet of the location. A bit of a drive to good restaurants but we didn’t mind. The washer and dryer weren’t great and left stains on our clothes with hours of drying time. Something we were not used to. Nothing that would prevent us from returning. We loved it overall!

It was far from the beach, the weather was colder up there because of the mountains and the pool was not heated.

We really liked the challet and the place itself. It was quiet, with great views and with borrowed car we can go anywhere with no problem. The communication over the whatsapp was perfect, we also received nice gift for the beginning - tasty snacks of mainly local food. The beds were comfortable as well as outside sitting, the kitchen had all equipment we needed and even more ,-) The swimming pool is very nice with views, just the watter could be a bit warmer. But our litte one loved it anyway. We have also tried the nearby restaurant and the food was very yummy.

The place was fully equipped to really make us feel at home, the view was beautiful, the bed super comfy, best vacation stay we've been at!
