Inchecken in het café wat overal naar rook stonk.. De man achter de bar had niet zo heel veel zin om ons te helpen en was vooral heel druk met bedienen.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Eine super Unterkunft in einer nicht-touristischen Umgebung. Unser Zimmer (Nr.4) war klein, aber ausreichend. Das Bad ist schnell überschwemmt. Der Balkon war ganz praktisch zum trocknen von Dingen ;) Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich. Bedienen auch das angeschlossene Cafè Academico (große Empfehlung- schaut nicht so aus, ist aber sensationell!). Das Frühstück wird an der Tisch gebracht und ist solide. Die Küche ist gut grundausgestattet, nur leider keine Kaffeemaschine. Im Zimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage, funktioniert gut, braucht man auch, da das Zimmer wtwas nass ist. Gerade abends ist die Dachterrasse empfehlenswert, ohne Sonne ist sie sehr angenehm. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden wieder kommen!
Keine Kaffeemaschine leider. Sonst alles super!

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Very kind staff, warm welcome. Room has airco, apartment is on the hiking way Via Algarviana. They even arranged transport of luggage from Altes to Messines and from Messines to Silves. Great value for money. They provide a good healthy breakfast. The restaurant has good local food, compliments to the kitchen staff. The whole staff works very good as a team, and is focused in the clients.

Das Zimmer extrem klein, keine Ablage, sehr laut, sehr beschwerlichen Stiege mit Gepäck. Vielleicht waren die anderen Zimmer ja besser, aber das meinige sollte man nicht vermieten, das ist dem Gast gegenüber respektlos. Außerdem haben etliche Angaben auf Booking nicht gestimmt.

Pas grand chose aux alentours. Petit déjeuner convenable mais dommage que ce ne soit pas un buffet.

The bed was fine, and the air con worked really well, which was very welcome! ❄️ 🍳 Breakfast was continental, with eggs made fresh the moment you arrived. Also loved having dinner here! 🍽️ 😴 At night it was lovely and quiet, barely any noise from the restaurant downstairs or other guests. 🙋 The staff were friendly and fun to chat with, and they all spoke English. Just a heads-up: check-in is done at the restaurant, which might confuse some people, but they're very chill about it. 😎 📶 Wi-Fi was reliable, and the whole place felt great value for the price. 📍 The location is incredibly central, you can walk everywhere with ease, felt safe walking around during the evening 🚌 5–10 minute stroll to the bus station. 👨👩👧 Great for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. If you have a car, it's a lovely option for a beach holiday while still enjoying the peace and quiet of a small interior town. 🏖️ Highly recommended! 👍

I went downstairs to have breakfast sat at the table after 5 minutes a lady came and told me to move to another smaller table so I did. I waiter 10 more minutes and they ladies were just passing by like I was invisible. After that I left.

Ao confirmar a reserva entrei em contacto com o estabelecimento e comuniquei q o motivo da nossa estadia era comemoração do aniversário de meu namorado perguntei q o hotel teria algo pra oferecer e me foi dito seria providenciando em especial e quando chegamos lá nada tinha. Funcionário da recepção/restaurante mau disposto. Na acomodação não tinha placa de "não incomodar",a senhora da limpeza entrou no quarto no primeiro dia e nos acordou e no segundo dia não bateu a porta e atrapalhou o nosso momento íntimo.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026A estadia neste alojamento foi bastante boa. Desde a cortesia e disponibilidade dos funcionários, à comodidade do quarto, tudo foi impecável. A existência de espaço comum no hall foi um pormenor que desconhecia mas que achei interessante, sobretudo com a hipótese de se confeccionar alguma refeição pontual, por estar equipado com uma pequena placa eléctrica, bem como a presença de um microondas para aquecer algo que fosse necessário, e uma vez que estive com uma criança de 3 anos, é um detalhe bastante positivo, pois as crianças são de necessidades imprevisíveis e nunca se sabe quando é necessário aquecer qualquer coisa. A nível de pequeno-almoço também muito positivo
A única parte menos boa foi a dificuldade que tive em estacionar o carro mas isto é meramente um aparte meu, nada tem a ver com o alojamento

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Ideaal verblijf bij een late aankomst op Faro en je reisbestemming richting Alentejo gaat. In het restaurant eronder kun je nog tot laat iets eten. Half uurtje rijden van het vliegveld. Knus hotelletje met vriendelijk personeel. De prijskwaliteit verhouding is echt super, voor deze lage prijs hadden we niet zo'n uitgebreid ontbijt verwacht.
Best wat rumoer vanuit het restaurant en vanaf de straat.

Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die allerdings etwas spartanisch ausgestattet ist, sehr wenig Geschirr, es fehlen grundlegende Küchenutensilien und es gibt keine vernünftige Sitzgelegenheit. Zimmer recht klein und eng, wenig Ablagefläche. Es werden jeden Tag die Handtücher ausgetauscht, das finde ich reichlich übertrieben.
