Reviewed Jun 26, 2026It's my second visit here. Super clean as always. I was super hungry past lunch time when I checked in, lucky there were complementary peanuts by the host. Filtered water provided. Check in and out was smooth. I could park right in the house. The host even upgraded my room. I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I felt safe (as a solo traveler), the sheets are clean, bed is comfortable. I felt taken care of, and fully recharged from this stay.

My room bathroom is spacious with very good shower pressure. Host are kind enought to upgrade us to a Ground floor room. Will definitely be a choice to stay in Ipoh.
No issue during my stay but was thinking if it's a full house parking will be a bit tight coz it's a residential area. Maybe ..

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Immacutely clean, good air conditioning, appreciate the kettle with tea/coffee in the room, and could also use the shared kitchen facilities. Bathroom design is an open shower in the room, which is common in some Asian countries, but is a bit odd to some foreigners - didn't really detract from the experience of the stay, just something to adapt to. Bottled water provided. Easy communication with host over whatsapp for check-in, etc. I think we may have been the only guests during our stay, so can't comment on noise from other rooms. In a quiet part of town, which worked for us with a car. Probably less suitable if you don't have a car to get around. Supermarket within walking distance.

Parking is available, and the location is very convenient—most places are just a 10–15 minute drive away. You can also take a Grab to the downtown area for around RM 5-10. The owner was very kind and welcoming. What really stood out was the cleanliness—everything was neat, well-maintained, and top-notch throughout the stay..

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Self check in was very smooth. Warm welcome from the host. I could park inside the car porch most of the time. Even though the host was't around, you could feel the host has put thought and care into the guesthouse in every corner. For instance, the shoe drawers inside, the note on the wall. I felt welcomed and cared for. Sound proof was good. I could hear others in the house, but it was very quiet in my room. Bed was comfy, the blanket was heavy and warm. I love it. Bathroom was new and modern. Quality toiletries, towel, hand towel provided. This exceeded my expectations. Definitely higher quality than other guesthouses in Ipoh.
My room's floor was a little dusty when I moved in.

From here, you are at equal distance from temples/ mirror lake, the city center of Ipoh and the central bus station (all reachable using Grab for very affordable cost) I totally recommend this place !

it's a bit outside of town, you need to get a grab/taxi for like 10 MYR one way, which is not a problem at all.
